Chapter Text
“We’re going left here“ your driving instructor said as you stopped first on the traffic light.
“You see this guy?” he pointed at the guy who was crossing the street in front of you. Next to him, American Rottweiler was held on the leash as the dog walked next to its owner. The man’s biceps flexed as he tried to keep his dog next to him, and you couldn’t help but look in awe at his full sleeve of tattoos.
“What about him?”
“The other day was my girlfriend’s and mine 4th year anniversary, and as a good boyfriend I am, I went to get her flowers. You know that flower shop in downtown, there’s a coffee shop next to it?”
“Yeah”
“So I go there, and guess who was the florist that made me a bouquet?”
You turned to the man sitting next to you “no way!”
He laughed “fuck yes! I was as surprised as you are! I expected an old lady to start teasing me how such a good boyfriend I was and shit like that, but I stood frozen for a few moments before I told him what I wanted.”
“Mhmm” you hummed and followed the florist’s silhouette as he jogged away from you with his dog.
“But it’s nice to see people breaking stereotypes” you hummed again in agreement as you took the left turn after lights turned green “and he has long hair, I think he’s a really cool guy. Looks badass but is actually soft inside.”
Just then you drove past that guy. He stopped to chat with a lady with a daughter, and as the two of grownups talked, the little girl petted the big, dangerous looking dog. You smiled to yourself at the sight of them, your heart bathing in sudden warmth.
You cleared your throat before you brought your gaze back to the road “I didn’t know you have a girlfriend.”
Your instructor groaned “I told you sixteen times already, Y/N. Do you even listen to me?”
“You talk too much.”
“And you barely talk.”
“I don’t know why you act like you hate it, I know I serve as a good rest after your other candidates who can’t stop talking” you giggled.
“Oh my god do you remember the girl who drove you home last week?” you hummed “She just wouldn’t stop taking trough the whole ride. Sometimes I can’t even tell her when to turn left or right on time, she doesn’t let me-”
“You know what?” you interrupted your instructor as you turned to look at him “let’s just not talk if we don’t have to, okay?” you smiled at him and he smiled back, knowing you don’t mean anything bad by that.
Driving in silence, you took one last look at the rearview mirror.
_______________________________________________________________________________
It was Monday morning and Jungkook was preparing flowers for upcoming costumers. He was just humming a song that was stuck in his head since the moment he woke up, patiently removing thorns from roses as the small bell rang, hanging and swinging over the doors.
“Good morning” he said brightly, and since he was in an incredibly good mood this morning, he treated the customer with one of his biggest, blinding smiles.
You froze, still holding a doorknob in your hands as you muttered out a silent greeting, too quiet for Jungkook to hear.
Closing the door behind you, you griped your shoulder bag tightly as you approached the counter.
Jungkook stared down at you, he never saw you before and he found your bright blue hair very interesting. But looking down into your eyes, he couldn’t quite pinpoint if the darkness under them was just your messy makeup or a sign of tiredness.
You stared at him with an arched eyebrow as you waited for his response.
“I’m sorry, what?” great, he wasn’t even listening to you.
“I said” you slowed down your usually very fast flow of words “I need a birthday bouquet.”
Jungkook nervously smiled and slightly bowed his head in shame, realising he probably made you angry. He didn’t. You were actually very pleased with how he got smitten by you. You smirked as he avoided your eyes.
“Ummm... what kind of flowers would you like?”
“I don’t know. I don’t really buy flowers for people.”
Jungkook showed you his bunny teeth “that’s okay, we can figure something out.”
You watched as he turned to the big vase with all different types of flowers “is it for a male or female?”
“Does it matter?” your mouth was faster that your brain.
Jungkook froze with his wide eyes staring at you.
“Haha... ooookay... well then, what about...” Jungkook awkwardly laughed as he went through the big vase of flowers, looking for a flower just right for you “Peruvian white lilies, they represent friendship... and... some blue Myosotis. It is also called a Forget-me-not flower. Obviously, it is a symbol of remembrance and love, but honestly...” he shyly smiled as he pointed at you “it just goes really well with your hair.”
“Ha!” the quick, loud laugh suddenly escaped your mouth. You covered them with your hands as you tried to somehow erase that laugh from your and his memory.
“I’m sorry” you said smiling and Jungkook’s shoulders shook as he tried not to laugh out loud “I didn’t expect that, but sure, that sounds like a nice bouquet.”
He gave you a thumbs up and turned around to get to work.
With his back facing you, he wanted to stab himself with the scissors he was cutting a ribbon with. Thumbs up?! Who even does that anymore? He should have just said okay and started working, but no, Jungkook did the lamest thing ever.
You found it cute.
Before he started working, Jungkook rolled his sleeves up. Once you took a glance of the art placed all over his arms, you couldn’t get enough. You moved as he moved, trying to get the best view of his tattoos at any given moment. Unaware of your prying stare, Jungkook turned towards you once he was finished and you were faced with the most beautiful bouquet you’ve ever seen.
“It looks like a wedding bouquet”
Jungkook opened his mouth to say something, but closed them right after. He repeated the same thing few times as he started blinking in disbelief.
“Agh... well...” he scratched the back of his neck “I can change it-”
“No! No, no... I’m sorry. It’s very beautiful. Very, very beautiful” you said and he smiled shyly.
“You are a very good florist, I’m so sorry” you looked at him with wide eyes.
“I-it’s fine. I guess it does kind of look like a wedding bouquet.”
“Well, I think it is very pretty... and my sister doesn’t know the difference between a daisy and chamomile so I think she wouldn’t even notice if this is not the usual birthday bouquet.”
Jungkook nodded, not knowing what to say as you took the bag off your shoulder.
“I like your tattoos” you suddenly said, not even looking at him but in your bag as you searched for your wallet. You took poor Jungkook by surprise as he did not expect you to be so blunt.
A shy smile found its way on Jungkook’s face “thank you... I-I’m very proud of them” he stuttered and you quietly giggled as you caught him off guard with your unexpected compliment.
Jungkook stared at you and wished for earth to swallow him whole. You looked so pretty with your sky blue hair tied in a half bun and dark, black makeup smudged around your eyes. He didn’t think a person can look so beautiful looking so tired and fucked up... and you just giggled at his stuttering.
“Finally... here” you handed him the money as he stood there, frozen and with a bouquet threatening to fall out of his hand. You oh so attractively snorted at his frozen expression, but your face turned serious in a second as you realised laughing at someone’s face is not really the nicest thing to do.
“Sorry... here’s the money” you threw on a half smile as he finally handed you the flowers.
“Thank you” Jungkook awkwardly scratched the back of his neck as he turned his back to you “ummm... here’s the change-”
“No, keep it” you quickly said and Jungkook turned to look at you, but he only caught a glimpse of you as you waved at him and walked out of the shop. Jungkook stood frozen for a while looking at closed doors, but then he smiled all for himself and slowly patted the top of his head.
Now out on the busy street, you breathed out a heavy breath. Walking down the road, you now regretted coming to that flower shop. You never buy flowers for anyone, even less for your older sister who probably won’t even appreciate flowers for her birthday. You just desperately wanted to see that florist face to face, but you made him uncomfortable with uncontrolled reactions and blunt words.
But, whatever.
You took a deep breath.
It’s not like you will see him ever again.
Back in the flower shop, continuing with the work he did before, Jungkook hoped he will.

“Hobi?”
“Hmm?” your friend hummed as he approached your topless body. You were lying on the black piercing table, waiting for your friend to finish all the preparations and finally pierce your nipples.
“I was wondering if you knew a guy I met the other day.”
“What guy?” he asked as he leaned over you, moved your nipples around with a sterile gaze and decontaminated them before he jumped to work.
“I don’t know his name, but he’s a florist and has a dog... an American Rottweiler, and he looks really tuff, like a guy you know you shouldn’t mess with, but he is really nice and cute.”
“Why do you think I know him?” Hoseok asked as he prepared the needle “breathe in.”
You took a deep breath, holding it until your friend told you to “now out, again, in... and out”
On a third breath in you felt sharp pain pierce trough your left nipple “anyway...” you cleared out your throat as Hoseok worked on your jewelry “he has so many tattoos Hobi, you should have seen his sleeve, it’s mesmerising.”
Hoseok chuckled at your dreamy face “does it hurt too much?”
“It’s bearable” you looked at him, expecting an answer “so? Do you know him?”
“Love, do you know how many big, muscular guys I’ve tattooed? How would I know if I’ve met him before if I don’t know how he looks like?” he gave you an annoyed look “in, out... good, again.”
“He has...” you got interrupted by a needle and muted your cry as Hoseok pierced your other nipple “goddamn this one was worse” you breathed out and Hoseok sent you an evil smirk.
“He has a little bit longer brown hair, it’s kind of messy, wavy and all over the place. And if you ask me, he is your competition in the biggest, brightest smile category.” Hoseok snorted as he cleaned around your nipples and showed you that big, breathtaking smile of his.
“You took your time studying him huh?”
“Not really, we talked only once for 10 minutes.”
Hoseok connected his eyebrows “that’s just creepy y/n.”
You got up and stood in front of a long mirror to take a look at your new accessory “you should have seen him Hobi, he just looks so interesting and beautiful and hot and-”
“And you’re just horny” he laughed with his whole body when you flipped him a finger.
Once he calmed down, he sat down on a chair “come here.”
You stood naked between his knees as he taped your nipples “wear a sport bra, don’t play with the piercings, don’t rotate them... actually don’t touch them at all unless you’re cleaning them. You can clean them with a sea salt based spray or soak them in sea salt solution. It should take up to 2 months to heal” after that, he poked your ribs and made you squeak.
Hugging you by the waist, he smiled up to you “they look beautiful on you.”
You smiled down on him, playing with his hair “thank you.”
“Don’t fuck them up, I worked hard for them.”
You groaned and rolled your eyes, stepping away from him “fuck you Hoseok!”
“It’s not Hobi anymore?” he laughed as you took your clothes to get dressed.
“It’s Hobi when you are bearable and Hoseok when you’re being a dick.”
You took your bag with you and got ready to leave when the front doors creaked “you have a costumer now?”
“Yeah. Can you tell them to wait a sec until I clean your mess?”
You flipped him another finger as you left the room to greet his next customer, but before you could utter a word, you froze in place and stared at the back of a guy you just talked with Hoseok about. All alone in front of a counter, Jungkook looked around until his bored stare fell on you, and his once dull eyes turned wide as he recognised you.
A smile found its place on his lips, and just when he wanted to greet you, you finally found your lost ability to speak and move “Hoseok will be here in a minute” you uttered, then turned around and ran back to Hoseok.
Opening the doors like a maniac, you found Hoseok leaned on his chair with a hand over his chest “what is wrong with you?!” he yelled but didn’t have an another chance to say anything because the next moment you were in front of him and punching him with closed fists.
“Auch! What-”
“You little bitch!” you pinched his nipples and he screamed in pain.
“What- for god’s sake what are you doing?” he took both of your wrists in his hands overpowering you.
“It’s him! You little slut act like you don’t know who I’m talking about and then he just walks in as your next costumer!” you whispered with such anger that Hoseok though you will start hissing any moment now.
He stared at you with a confused face and after a moment he let go of you just to peek his head through the door and yell “hi, take a seat until I prepare over here!”
He turned back to you with confusion written all over his face “I didn’t know Jungkook’s a florist” to which you rolled your eyes and prepared once again to leave.
“I’m leaving, and don’t you dare talk to him about me.”
Hoseok smirked “afraid he won’t like what I have to say about you?”
“Fuck you.”
You opened the doors to leave with Hoseok following you out. As you came face to face with Jungkook again, you smiled at him, ready to finally leave the studio. But before you could have a break from both your annoying friend and Jungkook’s piercing gaze, Hoseok decided to annoy you just a little bit more.
“Jungkook, this nicely looking lady over here is my friend y/n.”
Rising his hand in greeting, Jungkook searched for your eyes “yeah, we kind of met befou-”
“I have to go” you all but calmly interrupted him “bye” and after an incredibly long and tiring day, you finally left Hoseok’s studio much more stressed out than you were before.
Half an hour later, Jungkook was seated in a leather chair as he got his upper sleeve done. His tattoos were nicely organised, each and every on a right place and of a perfect size. Jungkook took his time thinking about the art on his body, and just as he told you in a flower shop, he was very proud of his tattoos. Even though his right arm was almost fully covered, there was plenty of space in between tattoos. Jungkook loved geometry and line art, he had very few realistically done pieces, the only one being a tiger flower on his lover sleeve.
Right now, Hoseok was working on the last piece of Jungkook’s full sleeve. The sketch Jungkook gave Hoseok was very neat and easy to tattoo, it was a, yet again, geometrically drawn piece, so with Hoseok’s help and few changes here and there, Jungkook was just a few hours away from his complete, full sleeve.
“So...” Hoseok started as he and Jungkook stood out in front of the studio for a quick break “you know y/n?” Hoseok asked and took a smoke of his half burnt cigarette.
“She came to the flower shop I work in.”
“Oh” Hoseok’s eyebrows rose “so you’re a florist.”
“Yeah”
“Explains why you have so many tattoos of flowers” Hoseok smiled before he finished his cigarette.
Jungkook shrugged and followed him inside. Sitting down again, he watched as Hoseok prepared to continue tattooing.
“You like her?”
“What?” Jungkook choked.
“You seemed interested before she ran away.”
“I don’t know her enough to like her” Jungkook laughed “but I do find her interesting... it’s just...”
Realizing what his thoughts were, Hoseok snorted “it’s her hair, right?”
“She’s kind of easy to remember” Jungkook sighed as Hoseok connected the needle with his skin again “but I don’t think she’s interested.”
“And why is that?” Hoseok asked with his full attention on the art he created.
“She just seems like she doesn’t care, and she didn’t even look at me before she left.”
“That’s just y/n, when she’s into someone she just ignores them.”
“You think she’s into me?”
Hoseok bit his tongue. Stepping away to get more ink on his needle, he quickly weighed his options, should he spill the tea or not? But Hoseok was your friend of a decade and he knew when not to cross a line with you.
“Dunno, she never mentioned you” he lied “but if you want to get closer to her, she works part time in a gallery as an attendant.”
“Oh so she likes art.”
“Dude, she’s a woman of few words, but if you ask her something about one of her goddamn painters, she won’t shut up for hours. Hours, Jungkook, I’m not even over exaggerating.”
Jungkook giggled as Hoseok continued “it’s the main gallery in the city and they hire a bunch of art students as part timers. You can find her on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons; I think she even closes sometimes.”
Relaxing in the chair, Jungkook sighed “do you know what artist is currently exhibited?”
“No. Why? Are you also an art hoe?” Hoseok snorted.
“There’s nothing wrong with appreciating art, hyung” Jungkook fired back “and you’re a tattoo artist, you should have some basic knowledge.”
“I know of few artists, and it’s not like I’ve ever had a costumer that wanted something related to that. Usually it’s just lyrics in cursive and something people saw on pinterest.”
“What if someone comes one day and says they want Starry Night all over their arm?” Jungkook teased.
“Then I would fucking send them to somebody else, now stay calm Jungkook unless you want your tattoo fucked up.”
_________________________________________________________
“I told you not to talk to him about me!” you yelled at your phone as you exited your class and headed for your off campus dorm. You just finished working on one of the sculptures, actually happy and satisfied with how it turned out, when you got a call from Hoseok telling you he did the only thing you asked him not to.
“But he asked about you!” he justified “he’s genuinely interested.”
“For fuck’s sake Hoseok, how can you even say that when we met two times, once in your studio where-”
“He said he liked your hair.”
“Liking my hair doesn’t mean he’s interested!” you walked down the road when you saw the bus you need to get on. Realising you’d have to wait for another one if you don’t hurry up, you started running.
“Look, Hobi, I appreciate you trying to hook me up with someone” you entered the bus as you showed a driver your pass “but please don’t.”
“He said you look interesting.”
“I think you are interesting too, Hobi. Doesn’t mean I want to jump your bones.”
Hoseok hummed “debatable but ok.”
You wanted to fire back at him when someone pushed through and kicked you in your chest. You saw stars immediately and almost cursed at that person, but once you pulled yourself together, they were already far away from you with no apology.
Taking a deep breath in, you palmed your nipples trough your sport bra and flinched when pain pierced right thought the end of your nerves.
“Are you okay? Did something happen?” Hoseok worried.
“Some dude just kicked me in my piercing and I think I blacked out for a sec-”
You didn’t get to finish your thoughts before Hoseok started questioning you about it, now switching to a professional side of him.
“Hobi, I’m in an awful mood right now, and unless you want to listen to me swearing at you, I suggest we talk sometime later.”
He sighed “okay, but visit me in the studio so I can take a look at the damage.”
“I’ll be fine, if it gets worse I’ll come.”
“Deal... and one more thing” you hummed “he will visit you at work on Tuesday.”
“He will what?!” people turned to look at you as you screamed, but the only answer you could get was the sound of Hoseok hanging up.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Opening heavy, golden double doors, Jungkook found himself in outer entrance hall of the gallery. Stepping further inside, he approached an older lady working beside the counter.
“Good afternoon, one ticket please” he smiled at the lady.
“Are you a student?”
Jungkook looked at her confused “no?”
The lady sighed “you look like one, should’ve said you are, could’ve gotten a discount.”
“Oh” Jungkook shrugged as he gave her the money. Taking the ticked, he said goodbye and opened another doors, ones that led him to the big square room. He quickly scanned the room, and after he looked all around, disappointment washed all over him as he couldn’t spot you anywhere.
Well, maybe you just took a break.
While waiting for you, Jungkook decided to make the most of the visit and actually admire the artworks. It was the exhibition of Alexander Calder, and before he jumped on admiring his paintings and sculptures, Jungkook stood before a big paragraph of text displayed on the wall and red about the artist’s life.
Walking around the left wing of the gallery, Jungkook finished admiring all paintings and all sculptures on that side. As he looked at the other wing, he got enchanted by the massive hanging sculpture made of wires. At last it looked like wires to Jungkook.
Hurrying to the other side, Jungkook got so bewitched by the fascinating sculpture that he forgot the main reason why he came here. But on the chair next to the wall, surrounded by other students and fellow attendants, sat the very embodiment of his reason. You talked with your coworkers; some of them were even your classmates, as you took occasional glances at visitors, making sure nobody is taking pictures or touching the artworks.
Jungkook noticed you before you noticed him. If you haven’t quickly ran to the toilets ten minutes ago, you surely would have caught him entering the gallery. He looked at you as you talked with one of your classmates, a guy with washed out green hair. You looked tired with your hair in a ponytail as your gaze ran around the gallery, and just when Jungkook thought your eyes will lay on him, you saw a small child coming dangerously close to one of the standing sculptures.
You quickly rose to feet and approached the child’s mother, or at least you assumed she was his mother, who was standing with her back turned to the child.
“Excuse me?” you said “the sculptures are very fragile and it could cause danger if one touches them, so could you please...” you threw your best fake smile as you pointed at her son who played a little bit too close to the sculpture.
“Oh goodness, yes, of course. I’m so sorry” and with that she took her son by the hand and squatted in front of him, probably lecturing him but you were far gone by then.
On your way back to take a seat, you finally saw Jungkook. He stood in the middle of the gallery widely smiling at you, and although you knew he will come by, you still found it hard to believe he made an effort to actually see... you. Surprised, and fairly caught off guard, you could only stand still as he approached you.
“We meet again” he smirked “are you stalking me?” he looked amused but frankly saying, all you felt at his words was slight annoyance.
“I work here.”
“Oh... I know that... I-I was just... kidding... haha yeah...”
Fairly speaking, you were very much flattered by him coming to see you, and now that you knew he was interested in you as much as you were interested in him, you wanted to stop this bad bitch play and finally try to... do something right.
“So you knew I work here?”
“No! I mean... yes I did but I swear I’m not stalking you.”
“So you accused me of stalking you?”
“No, no... you got it all wrong-” he god interrupted by your loud laugh, maybe too loud for being in a gallery, and he smiled as you covered your mouth with your hand.
A habit of yours, he realized.
“I’m kidding, it’s fine” you took your time admiring his face as he breathed in relief “you look cute.”
Then he choked on nothing but air and you fought a smile as you turned and waved for him to follow you “let me take you on a journey of amazing Alexander Calder” and it took all in him not to take a hold of your hand and just follow you around.
“This one’s called balloons, this one the wave... this is a black man. These ones are one of my favourites, but, you see... I don’t really like his paintings actually” you took a glance at him as he followed you around. Jungkook was not quite sure where to look next, as it seemed you just ran past all these paintings.
“I find them extremely boring. But that is not something I usually tell people” you winked “but you are not a stranger, so you’re special” you turned around to come to the next piece but Jungkook stood there and watched you moving with such lightness, you looked so carefree that it made Jungkook feel more relaxed as well.
“Calder himself never called himself a painter, he was fonder of sculptures and movement” you continued, and Jungkook finally found the energy to move. Smiling widely, he jumped in his steps as he caught up with you.
“But this bad boy here” you pointed at the hanging sculpture, the same one that took his attention before “is a golden gem.”
You looked so proud standing there, like you were showing him one of your own works and not of someone else. It looked like you really held this piece close to heart, and Jungkook wanted to learn everything there is to know about this sculpture.
“Guess how it’s called” you looked like a small child smiling up to him.
Jungkook quickly moved to see the name tag written on the wall, but you were fast enough to stop him “a-a... no cheating” you took him by the shoulders and turned him away from the wall “guess.”
And as you waited for his answer, Jungkook forgot how to breathe with you standing so close to him. He opened and closed his mouth as you stared at each other’s eyes, you because you waited for an answer and he because he swore not to look at any other piece in this gallery but your eyes.
You took his silence as a sign of giving up “I will enlighten you. It’s untitled.”
You took him by the forearm and dragged him under the floating metal “now, I must warn you. What are you about to experience is what I feel is the closest you can get to the state of nirvana. An absolute catharsis, a complete enlightenment and epiphany” you looked up at him and caught him already smiling down at you “and I’m not even religious. Actually, this is my religion.”
“Look up” and just as you said that, both of you tilted your heads “do you feel it? How this red, blue and yellow pieces move so slowly, you have a feeling you’ll get dizzy but when you look at it for a while, you realize it hadn’t moved at all.”
You took a deep breath and Jungkook squeezed your hand in between his arm and his ribs, bringing you closer to him as you continued just staring at the mobile.
“Is this long enough?” you gasped at him and took your hand out of his grasp.
“You have to feel it, Jungkook” you muttered and he felt goosebumps crawl all over his body at the sound of his name leaving your lips.
“My neck hurts.”
You just rolled your eyes and whispered a “deal with it” and just as you fell back to your state of total peace, Jungkook realized how much you enjoyed this. So he tilted his head once again and looked at the magic unfolding in front of his eyes. Now that he really thinks about it, it really does feel kind of cathartic.
You two stood there, frozen and in awe for probably ten minutes, and as you felt like it was enough for today, because yes you did in fact do this every time you come here, you tugged at his hand.
“I’m honestly at loss of words.”
“See, I told you. Mobiles are magical.”
He walked by your side as you circled around the room in silence. Here and there, you would make a joke about the paintings and say how extremely boring some of them look, and he would just smile at your rant as he listened how the upcoming exhibition is going to be so much better.
As the two of you found yourselves, yet once again, in front of your favourite sculpture, Jungkook finally spoke “so you dislike his paintings, but you absolutely adore his sculptures?”
“Exactly.”
“So...” Jungkook scratched the back of his neck “how long have you been working here?”
“Since this semester started. They don’t really hire freshmen so I had to wait for a year before I got the job” you laughed as the silence followed and your conversation became very much uncomfortable “what...” you cleared your throat “what’s your major?”
“I don’t go to college.”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah, I started working as a florist back in high school when my grandma passed away and my aunt inherited the flower shop. She just asked me to start working full time since she had to take care of paperwork that grandma used to do herself.”
“That’s cool” you said, then quickly went to panic mode “n-not that your grandma died, that’s not cool, I’m sorry about that-”
“It’s fine, happened years ago” Jungkook giggled at your justification.
You took a deep breath “what I meant to say” a smile found its way on your lips “is that I think it’s very nice that a male is breaking stereotypes working as a florist.”
“Yeah, you don’t often see a bad looking guy like me surrounded by flowers” he giggled.
“You’re not a bad guy. Jungkook the sweet boy, more like.”
Jungkook raised his eyebrows “you think I’m sweet?”
“I wouldn’t be talking to you if you weren’t. Bad boys are just not my type.”
“So the tough looking, but gentle inside is what you’re looking for?” he teased “I think I know the right guy.”
Your mouth fell open “you are extremely bold today.”
“Well, I had a nice afternoon so I feel brave.”
After that, the silence swallowed you both, but not the bad kind. As the two of you spent the last moments just staring and grinning at each other, you couldn’t stop thinking about what will happen next. Was this the end of your encounter, or would he maybe ask to meet you once again?
With the corner of your eye, you saw your boss giving you a warning look. Quickly fixing your posture and preparing to say goodbye, you stuttered “I hope you enjoyed the exhibition, but I have to-”
“Go back to work, yeah I understand. I’m sorry I took too much of your time.”
“I don’t usually talk to visitors for this long” you laughed.
Jungkook turned to walk away, but before he said goodbye, he faced you once more “would you mind meeting a dangerous looking, but extremely nice guy when you leave your work at exactly 8 p.m. tonight?”
“I don’t know” you couldn’t refrain from smirking “I’d have to get to know him first.”
“I think he’s just your type, so you have nothing to worry about.”
“Fine, but tell him I have high expectations” you shouted over the big space between the two of you and he showed you his teeth as he waved, leaving you behind.
As you were walking back to sit beside your co-workers, your green haired classmates chuckled at you “had a good time with that candy?”
“Oh shut it Taehyung.”
“You dare to talk to me like that? I’m your senior” he smirked.
Looking at him for another second, you greeted him with a big smile “shut up” you said trough teeth.
