Nobody thought they’d see a villain with the biggest smile on their face but eyes filled with the brightest tears. The fighting around her came to a standstill when her quirk was activated.
All Eyes On Me, a terrifying quirk for people with secrets and insecurities bigger than themselves. What was one supposed to do when confronted with a tense situation, run away, right? Isn’t that what a normal person would do?
Not her. God , she wishes, I wish I could run away, faced with the same hero she’s been feuding with for a long while. Eyes filled with the same guilt every time they saw her. In her head she repeats, stop looking at me like that, quite silly knowing her quirk don't you think? All those other silly fights, not really wanting to hurt each other but still needing to get the task done. They weren’t fully able to focus on each other.
But now? Now that Luloup is standing on a news car in the middle of the street paralyzing everyone who she managed to smell and rub against? Now that she’s visible to everyone. At any other time she’d love the attention. But those eyes, the ones she's been avoiding for the majority of her villain life, staring straight at her. Full of guilt, grief, and sorrow, staring her down. Those eyes were the only eyes that mattered to her at some point.
How dare she turn away from them when she needed those previously smiling eyes the most. Why would she do that to herself?
Red eyes flashed and jet black hair flew up, everyone was able to move again but no one budged an inch, especially seeing the villain full of tears and one of the heroes sidekicks lock eyes in the middle of the used to be chaos.
Deku wanted to stop his sidekick but he made no point to do so, this was obviously something that the two needed to fix on their own.
“You’re alive,”
“...”
“You’re a villain,” it sounded more like a question.
Luloup flinched, and tightened her fists.
“I thought you died, Lulu,”
“I didn’t mean to make you worry. I, I just couldn’t,” she couldn’t? Couldn’t what?
“Why…. Why did you go this far? What happened?” The eyes asked.
Luloup couldn’t answer, so she didn’t.
“Did you have fun?” The eyes asked again. Luloup shook her head no, “Were you happy?” Another no from Luloup, “You haven’t changed, You don’t get help when you need it,” A final sigh from the eyes.
“We should talk,” She finally spoke up.
“Now you wanna talk? We sure do,”
“Are you disappointed in me? You finally found me, are you happy?” Eyes were averted, but immediately met their match again.
“Disappointed? Happy?... What?”
“I’ve actually dreaded this moment, but hoped for it since the day I left,” Luloup hopped down from the car, eyes still glued to her despite her quirk not being used. “ I’m so glad I met you, I’m not sure if we’re still friends anymore but, now that I’ve seen you I no longer feel like I’m alone,” Luloup stopped in front of the eyes and held out her hands, expecting to be cuffed.
The eyes could only look, shocked.
Todoroki walked up and placed cuffs on the villain, if you can still call her one after that exchange. With a look at Deku, she walked away with the duo-quirked hero. The eyes were distraught.
