Work Text:
It’s late by the time Jeongguk ends his stream, thanking those who donated and supported before he salutes with two fingers, his trademark ending when it came to his streams. He stands with an obscene groan, every single one of his muscles protesting after he’d been sitting for twelve hours straight. He doesn’t do twelve hour streams often- and he stopped doing twenty-four hour streams after they started making his health worse- but he was celebrating a milestone.
Jeongguk double checks his vod to make sure the time stamps were there before he sends the link to Yoongi, stretching his arms over his head as he leaves his room. He finds Yoongi hunched over his laptop at the table, a grin spreading over his features as he notices Jeongguk.
“Hey,” Yoongi greets him, tilting his head up for a kiss. “Nice stream.”
“You watched?” Jeongguk asks, even though he already knows the answer. Yoongi had supported his streams from the beginning, when Jeongguk was at a crossroads and wasn’t sure what the next step in his life was going to be. Depending on Yoongi’s schedule, he couldn’t always catch the entire stream, but the time stamps helped when it came to planning out Jeongguk’s YouTube videos.
Yoongi hums as Jeongguk reheats something to eat. Seokjin had brought him food and snacks halfway through his stream, but Jeongguk was hungry and there were plenty of leftovers from dinner the night before.
“I think we can get two videos out of this,” Yoongi says, as Jeongguk takes the seat adjacent to him and puts his feet in Yoongi’s lap. Yoongi drops a hand to Jeongguk’s ankle, squeezing gently.
“Only two?”
“Three, maybe.”
“That’s good.” Jeongguk nods. “We can post them when Seokjin hyung and I are in the states.”
“When is that again?”
“Our flight’s in two weeks.”
“Right.”
“Are you sure you don’t want to come?”
“I’m not a streamer, baby.” Yoongi taps his fingers on Jeongguk’s ankle.
“But you’d get access to everything with us!”
“And a kickass hotel room,” a voice adds. They both look up to find Seokjin untying his shoes by the front door. He stands, dropping a kiss to the top of Jeongguk’s head, and then Yoongi’s. “Say what you will, but Twitch puts us in awesome accommodations.”
“I’m already helping Joon in the studio that week,” Yoongi reminds them. “Plus, someone needs to edit your videos while you’re off doing who knows what.”
“We promise not to have sex unless we’re on Skype with you,” Jeongguk says very seriously.
“That’s not-” Yoongi laughs. “I just want you guys to have fun out there.”
“One year,” Seokjin says as he joins them at the table. “We’re going to get you to come with us.”
“Good luck with that.” Yoongi types something on his laptop, and Jeongguk cringes when he can hear his own voice through the headphones. “Are you streaming tomorrow, hyung?”
“Not tomorrow,” Seokjin says. “But Koo and I have our joint stream on Saturday.”
“What are we streaming?”
“Fuck if I know.” Seokjin slumps in his chair. “Should we try among us? People have been asking for it.”
“I don’t think we can play it on the same monitor.”
“True.”
“I’ll think about it during class tomorrow,” Jeongguk promises.
“Focus on your studies,” Yoongi says.
“Sure, sure.”
“Enough work,” Seokjin announces, closing Yoongi’s laptop with barely enough time for Yoongi to get his hands out of the way. “I made brownies and I’m in the mood for a Christmas movie.”
“It’s October,” Yoongi says dryly.
“I’m sorry, I don’t listen to people under six foot.”
Yoongi rolls his eyes, making a face that makes Jeongguk giggle. He hurries to finish his food, knowing that Yoongi was probably ahead of their posting schedule, anyway. They could afford to take a break, even if that break involved watching Seokjin tear up over the most predictable Christmas movie scripts.
Jeongguk first met Yoongi when Namjoon brought him along to the studio for the first time. Namjoon had just gotten the job and nearly talked himself out of accepting the producer position, but Jeongguk all but dragged him out of the apartment to get there on time. Namjoon asked him to stick around and, well, Jeongguk only had one paper due the next day that he didn’t feel like writing.
He met Yoongi in the break room while rummaging around in the cabinets for a snack. Though Jeongguk would never admit it out loud, he was terrifyingly intimidated by Yoongi when they first met. Yoongi had caught him, a non-employee, trying to steal snacks and Jeongguk fully thought that Yoongi would have him thrown out, but he’d only shown Jeongguk where the best snacks were hidden in the break room.
As Yoongi and Namjoon worked together more often, Jeongguk spent more time with Yoongi and his crush followed pretty quickly. Yoongi was there for him when he made the decision to start streaming, offering to edit videos so Jeongguk could utilize multiple platforms and build his following.
Through Jimin and Taehyung, Jeongguk met Seokjin. Jimin and Taehyung were a duo idol group signed to the company Namjoon worked for, and Seokjin was a streamer. As two rising Korean streamers, the decision to meet was pretty easy.
After a few rocky months where Jeongguk felt guilty as fuck because he knew he liked Yoongi, but he recognized the blossoming feelings in his chest for Seokjin, the three of them were forced by Taehyung and Jimin to sit down and talk.
Now, almost a year into their relationship, it still felt a little surreal to Jeongguk. He never would have foreseen his channel growing so much, or how many viewers his joint streams with Seokjin would get, or how many views his YouTube videos would get after Yoongi started to edit them.
And it was… hard, at first. It was difficult to navigate a budding relationship between the three of them while also trying to focus on their respective careers. It took more work than Jeongguk could have anticipated, but now he couldn’t imagine falling asleep without being wrapped up with one or both of them, or talking to both of them on FaceTime until they drop to sleep one after the other.
Their viewers went crazy whenever Jeongguk or Seokjin poked their head on the other’s stream, and though Jeongguk wants nothing more than to stream with Yoongi and introduce his viewers to his other boyfriend, he knows Yoongi isn’t comfortable with that. Any music he releases, he does it under a different name and doesn’t show his face. Maybe one day Jeongguk can brag about him, but until then he’ll settle for wrapping every limb around Yoongi and holding him tight after his streams end.
Tonight, Jeongguk hadn’t been planning on streaming. It was his day off but Seokjin was working late and Yoongi was stuck at the studio with Namjoon and Jeongguk was lonely. He’d played Animal Crossing for a while, opening his gates to viewers before growing bored with his island, so he’d opened Fall Guys for the first time in a while, his viewers cheering him on as he played.
“Baby, why are you sitting in the dark?”
Jeongguk hadn’t even heard Seokjin come in, his head jerking up and his character falling. He’s eliminated from the round. How tragic. Seokjin’s grinning at him from the doorway, a bag of something in his hand. The chat goes absolutely wild as Seokjin comes on screen, pushing the hair back from Jeongguk’s forehead to kiss him there. The pings of donations come quickly, and Seokjin laughs.
“I think they want more of that.”
“What? Watching us kiss?”
“Or something more.”
“Shut up,” Jeongguk laughs, nudging Seokjin away. He returns quickly, bringing over Jeongguk’s extra chair to sit next to him. “We’re not discussing that.”
“You mean we’ll discuss it after the stream.”
“No!”
Donations chime off again, viewers sending donations and bits and asking for kisses again. It might be something Jeongguk and Seokjin joke about, but it wouldn’t feel right without Yoongi there with them.
Seokjin passes Jeongguk the food that he’d brought, taking Jeongguk’s controller to play. Seokjin liked to stream MapleStory, but with the hour dragging later and Fall Guys already open on Jeongguk’s computer, it made more sense to stick with it. While Seokjin plays, Jeongguk eats and catches up with chat, thanking donors and people who host his channel.
“Oh,” Jeongguk hums, sitting up straight and feeling that ache in his back. “They want to know about our first kiss.”
“Ah.” They share a look as another game starts. Jeongguk had kissed Yoongi first, but they couldn’t exactly mention that on stream. “Jeongguk fell madly in love with me at first sight and kissed me in the rain. Gave me a nasty cold, too, the little punk.”
“That’s not how it happened, hyung,” Jeongguk whines. “I took you on a very respectable picnic date. It’s not my fault it rained.”
“You didn’t check the weather before we left.”
“I like to live life on the edge.”
“It was very sweet,” Seokjin says, eyebrows furrowed as he struggles not to fall in the game. “I made chocolate covered strawberries and as I fed them to him, he got all quiet and said he wanted to kiss me.”
“Stop.” Jeongguk hides his face in Seokjin’s shoulder. “You’re ruining my bad boy streamer image.”
Seokjin snorts violently and does a poor job of hiding it as a cough. Jeongguk wants to talk about how he’d been on a date with Yoongi a few days before the picnic, or how Seokjin and Yoongi went on a date a couple days later. He wants to talk about their first official date and maybe wants Seokjin to recall how Jeongguk froze up when he realized he had to pick one of them to kiss before the other. Seokjin always looks so fond when he tells that story, and Jeongguk always falls a little more in love.
Chat moves on quickly and asks for more silly stories, and Jeongguk is more than happy to divulge the times Seokjin gets a little tipsy and can’t bake to the best of his abilities and cries into his buttercream. In return, Seokjin talks about Jeongguk’s stuttered confession and how he got so drunk at Jimin’s holiday party he fell asleep in the bathtub.
For an unplanned stream, it’s a lot of fun. Jeongguk tries to keep up with chat, but he’d taken a couple exams early in the day and he could feel his fatigue catching up with him. He knows his chat loves Seokjin, and he knows that Seokjin can handle a stream, so when his eyes get heavy and his head finds Seokjin’s shoulder, he doesn’t worry much.
The stream is a quiet noise in Jeongguk’s ear as he dozes off, blinking his eyes open when he hears Seokjin ending the stream.
“We’ll be live together on Saturday,” Seokjin is saying. “But there won’t be any streams next week while we’re in the states for TwitchCon. As always, thank you so much for watching. Thanks for the new members and to those who donated, Jeongguk will pay his electric bill on time thanks to you guys. See you in the next one. Say goodbye, Gukie.”
“Bye, everyone.” Jeongguk waves, the sleeve of his hoodie bunched into his fist. He gives a salute. “Mad love to all of you.”
Seokjin ends the stream a few seconds later, the two of them sitting together. He presses another kiss to Jeongguk’s forehead and they hear the front door open.
“Hyung? Jeongguk-ah?”
“In here,” Seokjin calls back.
“Is he asleep?” Yoongi asks, as Jeongguk feels slim fingers in his hair.
“Almost. Jeongguk-ah, go brush your teeth and hyungs will cuddle you.”
“Mhn.” Seokjin sits him up to start collecting the trash, but Jeongguk just seeks out Yoongi’s warmth and buries his face in Yoongi’s stomach. “Hi, Yoomfi.”
“Hi, baby.” Yoongi’s hands are warm on Jeongguk’s cheeks and shoulders. “Did you have a fun stream?”
Jeongguk hums, nodding slowly. “Fuck. I forgot time stamps.”
Yoongi laughs quietly. “That’s okay. We can go through it together.”
Jeongguk brushes his teeth and washes his face with sleepy movements, returning to his bedroom a few minutes later as Seokjin was adjusting the duvet and trying to convince Yoongi to be done with his work for the night. Jeongguk changes into sweatpants and a sweater that might have originally been Yoongi’s before he dives under his covers and waits for his boyfriends to join him.
His bed wasn’t the largest, that was Seokjin’s, but sometimes Jeongguk secretly preferred the smaller bed. Sure, they had a little more room to stretch out or curl up when they slept at Seokjin’s place, but when they stayed at Jeongguk or Yoongi’s place, they had to stay closer to avoid one of them falling off the bed. Jeongguk loved it. He loved falling asleep with Seokjin on one side and Yoongi on the other, their arms around him warm and comforting, their legs tangled together. They may wake up sweaty and a little disoriented each morning, but Jeongguk wouldn’t trade those soft mornings for anything else.
A few minutes later, the sheets pull back as Yoongi joins Jeongguk in bed, his face freshly washed and breath smelling of toothpaste. Jeongguk doesn’t even try to bite back his grin, shuffling into Yoongi’s arms and breathing out a sigh of relief as one of Yoongi’s hands finds Jeongguk’s hair and the other presses flat between his shoulder blades.
“I love you,” Jeongguk whispers, for no reason other than he loves to say it. Loves to say it, and loves the little shiver that wracks Yoongi’s body whenever he does.
Yoongi presses a soft kiss to Jeongguk’s temple. “And I love you. Always.”
“What about me?” Seokjin asks, a pout in his voice as he joins them in bed.
“I tolerate you,” Yoongi replies.
“Wow. See if I ever suck your dick again.”
Jeongguk makes a noise of complaint to which they both laugh, Seokjin flicking off the lamp before he cuddles close to Jeongguk’s back. “I love you,” Jeongguk says, finding Seokjin’s hand beneath the sheets and holding on tight. “Even if Yoongi doesn’t.”
“Aish, you know I love you.” Yoongi kisses the tip of Jeongguk’s nose, and then leans up to share a soft kiss with Seokjin, the sound wet and tantalizing over Jeongguk’s head. “Both of you. My beautiful boys.”
“Hyung,” Jeongguk whines, hiding his burning cheeks in Yoongi’s chest. They know, though, both of them are so attuned to Jeongguk’s mannerisms.
Humming softly, Yoongi plays with a strand of Jeongguk’s hair. “I’ll miss you both while you’re gone.”
“Only for a week, Yoongichi.” Seokjin squeezes Jeongguk’s hand. “We’ll answer whenever you call.”
“Yeah,” Jeongguk agrees sleepily. “Unless I’m meeting LoserFruit. Then I’m leaving both of you to join her relationship.”
His boyfriends both pinch him, but Jeongguk just laughs, giggling into Yoongi’s chest as they fall asleep wrapped up in each other.
Jeongguk hates jet-lag.
He thinks, even if streaming is his career for a long time, that he’ll never get used to time differences. It doesn’t help that he’s coming from Korea while most other streamers come from Europe or the US, with the exception of some Australian streamers, so it always feels like the others have a leg up on him.
It’s why, even though it was hard to be away from Yoongi for even longer, he’s glad they left a couple days early so they could adjust to the time zone and not sleep through half the con. Jeongguk got to meet his favorite Australian streamers and took pictures with some of the biggest streamers there, his follower count on Instagram jumping with each picture he posted.
Together with Seokjin, they attended panels and met with fans, playing a few games of Fortnite or Fall Guys with some streamers they’d never had the chance to play with before. Jeongguk comes in third in a tournament with some streamers there, and donates his money to a small dance school in Busan.
Now, they sit together in the back of a taxi, the night cool and quiet as they leave Incheon. The week felt impossibly long and yet, sitting pressed to Seokjin’s side, it feels as though it had passed in the blink of an eye. At Jeongguk’s feet sits a bag of convention merch he’d bought for Yoongi, some cool souvenirs and then some dumb anime stuff he knew Yoongi would grumble about and still put in his studio. Music plays softly from the radio, and while Seokjin dozes on the ride home, Jeongguk is wired after sleeping the entire plane ride.
He pays the taxi driver and shakes Seokjin awake as they approach Yoongi’s apartment. The hour was steadily creeping towards midnight, but Jeongguk had sent a pleading text to Namjoon to leave the apartment for the night. Namjoon, knowing full well what Jeongguk was implying, had fled to Hoseok’s place for the night. Jeongguk hopes he confesses while he’s there.
Jeongguk can barely keep from vibrating out of his skin as he and Seokjin collect their suitcases and make their way to the elevator. Not even Seokjin’s hand on his shoulder can keep him still, abandoning his suitcase in the elevator to sprint to the end of the hall and punch the passcode to Yoongi’s place. Seokjin follows behind him, shaking his head fondly as he guides both of their suitcases.
“Yoomfi!” Jeongguk shouts, as soon as the door opens.
Yoongi nearly jumps out of his skin, dropping his bottle of water and placing a hand to his heart. “Baby-”
He doesn’t get to finish, Jeongguk closes the distance between them to pull Yoongi into a crushing hug. Yoongi laughs gently, his arms circling Jeongguk to hold him close.
“Hi, hyung.” Jeongguk mumbles into Yoongi’s neck, kissing the skin there and relishing in the tiny shiver he earns in return. “Missed you.”
“I missed you, too.” Yoongi kisses the shell of his ear. “Both of you.”
Seokjin drops a kiss to the top of Jeongguk’s head and then to Yoongi’s, dragging their suitcases and souvenirs into the bedroom to be dealt with later. Jeongguk lifts his head, meeting Yoongi’s soft gaze. He’s not sure who moves first, but his eyes flutter shut as their lips meet in a soft kiss.
All too quickly, it’s not enough. Jeongguk tilts his head and deepens the kiss, both of them nearly tripping over each other’s feet as Yoongi tries to guide him into the bedroom. Jeongguk shoves him lightly onto the bed, following as Yoongi pulls him into another heated kiss.
Yoongi breaks the kiss in surprise when he brushes his fingers over the front of Jeongguk’s jeans to find his cock hardening from a few bruising kisses and pointed touches to the heated skin beneath his hoodie. Jeongguk shivers at the phantom touch, mouthing hotly at Yoongi’s neck.
“Already?” Yoongi chuckles, the rasp of his voice making Jeongguk whine.
“It’s been-” Jeongguk kicks his hips against Yoongi’s palm as if to prove a point. “Ten days.”
“Wasn’t Seokjin taking care of you out there?”
“Ah.” The bed dips as Seokjin sits on the end, his smile hidden poorly behind his palm. “I may have… edged him. Almost every night we were out there. Told him that you could have the pleasure of letting him come, Yoongi.”
Yoongi hums, palming Jeongguk’s cock in earnest. “What a mean hyung, hm?” Jeongguk nods against his shoulder, rutting desperately. “Let’s take care of that.”
Yoongi works him open with gentle precision, kissing Jeongguk as he twists his fingers. Jeongguk swears up and down that he’s ready, he wants this, he’s missed Yoongi, but Yoongi insists on preparing him fully before accepting the condom that Seokjin passes over. He’d barely gotten his pants off before Jeongguk whines for his touch, shirt hanging off one shoulder as he slowly fucks into Jeongguk.
Seokjin runs a hand through Jeongguk’s hair until Jeongguk pulls him down for a kiss and to whisper something against his lips. On his knees in an instant, Seokjin wrestles out of his sweats and pulls his large t-shirt out of the way, guiding his cock to Jeongguk’s mouth.
Sighing in content, Jeongguk wraps his legs around Yoongi’s waist to urge him deeper, one hand on the base of Seokjin’s cock as he sucks. His jeans had only been pulled off one leg, his shirt bunching against his stomach with each of Yoongi’s thrusts. His cock aches, that familiar burn that he’d become so accustomed to over the last week, when Seokjin would cuddle up behind him almost every night in their hotel room and either fuck him close to his orgasm or work a hand over Jeongguk’s cock, whispering cruel words in Jeongguk’s ear before he left Jeongguk high and dry.
Now, Yoongi pushes Jeongguk’s t-shirt up his chest to lick across his nipples, to suck a mark at the base of his throat (low enough to be hidden by a shirt the next time Jeongguk was on stream) and trace his fingernails along Jeongguk’s flushed skin.
His orgasm washes over him slowly, Seokjin’s hand on his cock after he’d come down Jeongguk’s throat. It’s almost too much, Yoongi’s hands on his thighs and Seokjin jerking him off, his body writhing on the bed. He comes to their soft encouragements, Yoongi fucking him through his orgasm while chasing his own.
Yoongi flops on the bed after pulling out of him, accepting the towel that Seokjin offers and cleaning the lube between his thighs. Seokjin looks about ready to pass out. Jeongguk hops out of bed and does a couple push-ups.
“Where are you going?” Yoongi murmurs, as Jeongguk changes into a pair of shorts and a clean t-shirt.
“Down to the gym.”
“Baby, it’s-” Yoongi leans up to check the clock on his nightstand. “Almost two. Come to bed.”
Jeongguk shakes his head. “I have. So much energy. And you two obviously can’t go for another three rounds tonight.”
“Is that a challenge?” Seokjin asks.
“Now say that with your eyes open.” Seokjin doesn’t, and Jeongguk laughs. “I’ll be back soon. Love you.”
Jeongguk goes through his daily workout twice and devours nearly an entire box of cereal, planting himself in front of the TV and playing Mario Kart until his boyfriends wake up some hours later. He makes it to lunch before he finally crashes, falling asleep on the floor next to the couch and waking up after the sun sets, both Yoongi and Seokjin cooing over him as he tries to bury his face in his arms.
Jeongguk hears a shrill scream.
“Ah, I think Jin hyung just died.” Jeongguk bites his lip to hide his smile. “I just heard him scream. Should we go looking for his body?”
Jeongguk’s little bean character trudges along the map, stopping to do a couple of tasks as he retraces his earlier steps and tries to remember the last time he saw Seokjin’s character. He finds the body inside admin at the card swipe, a task that still took Seokjin a few times.
There’s absolute chaos when Jeongguk reports the body, everyone shouting over each other. Seokjin was the third casualty, Taehyung and Jimin immediately vouching for each other. Yoongi gives his position before Jeongguk even says where he found the body. Namjoon and Hoseok had been killed in a double kill in the previous round, the other three Korean streamers they were playing with asked where Jeongguk found it.
“On admin,” Jeongguk says, his eyes instinctively flicking to where he usually has his chat open. He can only leave it open when he’s impostor, which has only been once so far on his four hour stream.
Yoongi, with his name set as one of his pseudonyms SUGA, recalls seeing Taehyung leave there with Jimin earlier.
“If it were me and Jiminie,” Taehyung says, “We would have just killed you, hyung.”
“Good point.”
Jeongguk loves streams like these. It’s not his usual set up. Instead, they’re at Seokjin’s place. Seokjin was in his own streaming room while Jeongguk was in the guest room. Seokjin swore he’d bought a whole second set up for days when he wasn’t motivated to stream in his room, but so far Jeongguk had been the only one to use it. It was convenient, for when they weren’t doing a couple stream but still wanted to be around each other.
But the best part?
The best part was Yoongi sitting at the dining room table to join their lobby. He never played under his real name or rapper name, (as much as the fans would probably love that, they weren’t interested in die-hard fans connecting the three of them together) nor did he livestream his games, but him just being a part of their games felt like a relief to Jeongguk. He’d struggled a lot at first with thoughts of Yoongi feeling left out whenever he and Seokjin streamed, and though Yoongi promised that he felt no feelings of resentment, Jeongguk still loved when he joined.
“We shouldn’t vote on seven,” Jimin is saying. He interrupts a passionate story from Taehyung about protecting Jimin from Yoongi when Yoongi walked in on the two of them doing asteroids
“Yeah, skip.” Jeongguk agrees.
“Who is it?”
“Fuck!” Jeongguk startles, accidentally closing out of his wire. “Give me a warning, hyung.”
Seokjin drops his chin on Jeongguk’s shoulder from behind. Jeongguk can imagine his chat going crazy. Already he hears the donations he’ll read out once he can look at chat again.
“Do you have any suspicions?” Seokjin asks, ignoring Jeongguk’s outburst.
“Shouldn’t you know who killed you?” Jeongguk asks, doing his fourth task in electrical and holding his breath as the door closes before he can leave.
“I looked away from my screen for two seconds,” Seokjin sighs. “Ghost chat told me who one of them was. Someone’s getting marinated.”
“Go away,” Jeongguk whines, trying to focus as Seokjin kisses just behind his ear. “No cheating.” He pauses. “At least not until we’re impostor together.”
Seokjin laughs, but he leaves the guest room with one more kiss to the shell of Jeongguk’s ear. As the door shuts, Taehyung calls an emergency meeting.
“Whoever killed my Jiminie better fess up before I sue you.”
“Did anyone see Jeongguk this round?” Yoongi asks, and Jeongguk gasps as everyone starts mentioning how he might be hiding in the vents.
Jeongguk touches a hand to his heart, proud. Yoongi has gotten so much better over the past few weeks of playing. He used to be very stoic and only speak when spoken to, but now he has no qualms about throwing one of them out the airlock.
“Can we talk about how Suga just threw that sus on me?” Jeongguk asks, trying to bite his smile back.
It’s too little too late. Soobin jumps on Yoongi’s accusation, and before Jeongguk can plead his case, he’s been voted out.
Who is it? Jeongguk types in the ghost chat. He’s done with his tasks, so his ghost just follows Seokjin’s around as he does his tasks.
Suga hyung and Yeonjun , Hoseok replies, just as the Defeat picture appears on the screen.
There’s a lot of yelling as the lobby reloads, Taehyung promising swift retribution against Yoongi for killing Jimin. Soobin is nothing but shocked, having spent most of the game with Yeonjun and not suspecting him at all.
They take a quick bathroom break and Jeongguk grabs a snack out of the kitchen, kissing Yoongi as he passes. He gets a couple messages from other streamers asking if he wants to fill in their lobbies later in the day, and he replies back that he’ll let them know after his current group is done for the night.
He gets impostor with Yoongi.
Jeongguk grins, keeping his chat open as he fakes the dropship task.
“Me and Suga, hm.” Jeongguk glances at the chat before he pulls up the sabotage screen to cut the lights. A few people ask who Suga is and where he streams, but for the most part his chat is telling him to split up Taehyung and Jimin. “I think I’ll protect Seokjin hyung.”
They go into weapons, and Jeongguk kills him.
Seokjin shrieks again, louder this time, and Jeongguk can’t help his cackle. He leaves the room, doing a quick circle and making sure a few people see him before he goes back into weapons to report the body.
“Who killed my boyfriend?” Jeongguk asks, the pout evident in his voice. He hears Seokjin scream again.
Jimin and Taehyung somehow throw suspicion on each other after Taehyung says Jimin made it from top to bottom decontamination before Taehyung walked through specimen. No one gets ejected.
Jeongguk’s door opens. “I’m not feeding you or feeling you up for a week ,” Seokjin hisses, much to Jeongguk’s amusement.
He and Yoongi get off a double kill on the med scanner, Jeongguk leaving for the specimen room while Yoongi vents out of the bathroom. Jeongguk kills Yeonjun just as he calls an emergency meeting.
“Fuck.” Jimin says eloquently, once they see how many people died.
“Have we voted anyone off?” Namjoon asks.
“No,” Taehyung replies.
“Well.” Namjoon says. “Shit.”
“I’m sus of Suga,” Jimin pipes up. “He was moving really strangely at 02.”
“Probably because you failed a double kill with him, Jimin.”
“Taehyung! Why would I marinate you!”
“For the laughs!”
“I did see Suga hanging out around the vents,” Jeongguk says. “And he was the last person anyone saw with Hoseok hyung.”
“No way,” Yoongi objects. “I left Hoseok with Jimin.”
“You did not!”
The argument that follows doesn’t give them much time to decide who to vote for, but with three votes on his name, Yoongi gets voted out.
Jeongguk makes a face. He’s done some solo wins before, but he’ll have to plan it carefully.
He gets a kill by the vent outside bottom decontamination and calls a reactor sabotage when his kill cooldown is almost done.
He meets up with Jimin and Taehyung’s characters on their way to the top reactor, Taehyung runs to the left reactor after seeing the rest of them heading to the right. Jeongguk kills Namjoon and immediately reports it.
“Jimin just killed Joonie,” Jeongguk says hurriedly. “I had my hand on the reactor and when I turned around Namjoon’s body was flopping over.”
“I knew it!” Taehyung shouts.
“What! No, Taehyung, baby. Jeongguk killed Namjoon!”
“You really think I’d kill my Joonie hyung?” Jeongguk asks, sounding affronted. His chat loses it, praising him for choosing a 50/50 well.
“He’s lying, Tae.” Jimin says. “He’s thrown sus on me this entire time. I was with you for most of the game!”
“Except for the three kills in round two,” Taehyung says.
“I led the charge against Suga,” Jeongguk points out. “And we were right about him, otherwise the game would have ended.”
Taehyung yells a little. “This doesn’t look good for you, babe.”
“Taehyung, I swear to God if you vote for me I’ll have your head-”
The votes go through. And Jimin is ejected.
“Good job, hyung.” Jeongguk says, grinning widely. “We’ve won.”
“Hell yeah we-” Taehyung cuts off with a wail. “You demon!”
“We’re breaking up!” Jimin shouts, his character chasing Taehyung’s around.
Jeongguk just cackles as Seokjin tells the story of betrayal that is Jeongguk killing him first and reporting the body. They play a few more rounds and Seokjin gets his revenge by killing Jeongguk even if he immediately gets voted out for it. Seokjin mentions ending his stream.
“You ending, JK?”
“Not yet,” Jeongguk says. “I’m gonna fill for Toast for a bit.”
Jeongguk is thankful in moments like these that his mom pushed him to stay in his language courses as a kid. He’s able to play with the American streamers he’d befriended while in the states, but he’s been live for most of the day so once they have another fill available, Jeongguk leaves the game and spends a few minutes talking to chat before he ends the stream.
He finds Yoongi and Seokjin lounging on the couch.
“There he is,” Seokjin announces, Yoongi turning to look over his shoulder. “The little traitor.”
“Aw, babe. I can always make it up to you.”
“Don’t even look at me.”
Snickering, Jeongguk settles on the couch with his legs thrown over Yoongi’s lap. “Did you have fun, hyung?”
“Of course I did,” Yoongi says, his soft gummy smile making Jeongguk grin, too. “I always have fun playing with you guys.”
“Did you order dinner?” Jeongguk asks, shuffling closer to lay his head on Yoongi’s chest.
Seokjin hums. “Should be here soon.”
“I should start looking over your time stamps,” Yoongi murmurs.
“Noo.” Jeongguk holds him tighter. “You’re so warm.”
They stay like that, texting some of the friends they’d played with to start getting a lobby ready for the weekend. They stay like that, the three of them squished together on the couch, even after the food arrives and Yoongi throws on a movie.
Jeongguk straightens his posture with a groan. He’s spent most of the day talking to a representative for a group of streamers who’d expressed interest in moving into a gaming house in Seoul together. Jeongguk never imagined being offered the chance to join a team, so he’d spent the last few hours researching the team and gaming houses that worked and failed in other countries. His lease would be up at his apartment soon, and though he kind of wanted to ask Seokjin and Yoongi if they should all move in together, joining a team could further his streaming career in a way he never expected.
For now, though, he doesn’t have to make a decision today. So he changes his focus to watch over the YouTube video that Yoongi had sent him, the thumbnail and title looking good. He uploads the video to his YouTube and shuts his laptop with a satisfied noise.
He checks some of his socials and posts about his new YouTube video, making a note to ask Yoongi to take some pictures of him soon to post to his Instagram.
The restaurant is warm and crowded when Jeongguk arrives there, finding Seokjin, Taehyung, and Jimin in the back room, Jimin talking loudly about how Taehyung’s hands had been added to a list of Sexiest Hands of the Year. Taehyung hides his face in said hands.
“Where are the others?” Jeongguk asks, as he slips into the seat next to Seokjin.
“Got held up at the studio,” Seokjin answers. They hadn’t ordered yet, but the grills were uncovered and a couple bottles of Soju had already been uncapped.
Seokjin barely sees them entering the restaurant before he orders enough food to feed a small village, loud conversation breaking out as everyone settles at the table. Yoongi squeezes Jeongguk’s knee and kisses his temple, his lips cold from the snow outside.
“We need a toast,” Jimin announces, as Jeongguk is pouring everyone another shot. There are several groans of complaint. “No, don’t you guys protest. We have lots to celebrate.”
“Right,” Taehyung agrees. “To Seokjin, for signing that brand deal with Supreme. To Jeongguk, for reaching three million Twitch followers and a million on Twitter.”
Jeongguk feels his face flush, giggling as both Seokjin and Yoongi lean close to kiss his cheeks.
“To Taehyung, for being incredibly sexy.”
“To Jimin, for being even sexier. And for learning that thing he did last night-”
“Nope,” Hoseok interrupts. “You’ve lost your toasting privileges. That being said, congrats to Yoongi hyung on producing a debut single for our new group. And to Namjoon and I for keeping him sane while he did so.”
They all knock back their shots, attention turning back to the meat and veggies left to grill. Yoongi piles Jeongguk’s plate before his own. Taehyung and Jimin get lost in each other.
“Yoongi hyung, will you stream with us again tomorrow?” Jeongguk asks. “We can do a Fortnite squad.”
Yoongi pouts. “I’m not any good at Fortnite.”
“We’ll carry you.” Seokjin assures him.
Yoongi’s arm settles over Jeongguk’s shoulder, his grin blinding. “Anything for my boys.”
Jeongguk pulls Seokjin’s and Yoongi’s free hands into his lap, linking their fingers. He’ll tell them about the gaming house offer another day, for now he’s content to laugh with his hyungs over funny stream moments and throw napkins at Jimin and Taehyung whenever they so much as kiss. He can’t wait for their next stream.
