When Yuan came back to his senses he wanted everything that had happened to be a dream; so when he opened his eyes and saw that he was in a dark cell he shut them tight again.
It couldn’t be real… Gin could not have betrayed them.
The day before Yuan had woken up earlier than usual, excited for the last rounds of the tournament, and the Award ceremony; he had tried to do his best to show off to Issei and his brother so he was sure that he’d win at least something.
‘‘Ge, are you ready to go?’’ he’d even woken up before his brother, all excited at the prospect of having a good day. ‘’Yes, Yuan, I’m ready. Now stop spreading your stupid pheromones in my room please.’’ With a laugh Yuan had left to get the horses ready, unaware of the dark look coming from Gin.
But what happened wasn’t what he expected to happen.
Everything had been normal until the ceremony. He had won first place in archery and the winners would have the person who won second place award the their crown so he was standing proud in front of his brother when everything went wrong.
‘’I won, ge, are you proud of me?’’ Yuan said, with a big smile on his face; when he heard no reply he opened his eyes and his brother was staring at him, a scowl on his face and a dark light in his eyes.
‘’Ge… what...’’ unexpectedly screams started spreading in the room, and demons started to appear seemingly fom nowhere, wounding the participants of the ceremony.
The attack had started from the middle of the crowd looking at them so the demons were still far from them but every alpha in the fighters section had unsheated their weapons and gone to fight and protect the others, while the omegas were organising the excape route.
Yuan didn’t esitate either, his attention diverted from his brother, and started to move to follow the other alphas; but a strong pulling force on his wrist stopped him.
‘’Ge, what are you doing? We have to go, they need help!’’ Gin didn’t say anything, but his grip became evn stronger, not allowing Yuan to get away from him.
Suddenly even more demons appeared, this time near them.
Yuan still couldn’t move or do anything and started to unwillingly emit distressed pheromones ‘’Ge, ge, please let me go, we have to move! Please!’’
Apparently Gin had been waiting for this moment because this time he spoke, voice full of mockery ‘’What, A-Yuan? The next head of the family, the mighty alpha of the Kuroyama can’t break free from his ‘beta’ brother’s grip?’’ ‘’What?... Why?... You’re my brother, what is happening?’’.
Yuan had already noticed that something was wrong. His brother hadn’t moved and hadn’t taken out his sword for protection, yet, no demon was approaching them but they were deliberately avoiding them. But he couldn’t believe that his brother was colliding with the demons.
‘’Didi (younger brother) haven’t you already figured it out? It should be obvious even to a stupid guy like you now.’’ The betrayal in Yuan’s eyes was such a lovely sight for Gin; he had been waiting to see this for such a long, long time; but what had to come would be even sweeter. He let his demon sigil show up on his forehead, and his own alpha pheromones started to pollute the air around his brother. ‘’What... This… Ge… no, this can’t be real’’
Yuan was panicking, Gin’s scent was way more dominant than his own so it was painful to stand and after a while he just fainted.

Yuan still hoped that everything had been a dream but that hope was totally crushed when two demons came and opened his cell. Behind them was a female demon, who was obviously some sort of doctor, she did not say anything to him and just took his wrist, just as his normal doctor would do when they examined him. when he tried to struggle he found out he could’t use his powers, the chains on his wrists probably had some sort of sealing ability.
She didn’t even acknoledge his pathetic attempts and just kept on examining him, at the end she took a vial with a misterious liquid and tried to feed it to him.
‘’What’s this? I’m not gonna drink anything you give me!’’ he tried to resist but it was useless. Still not having said anything the demon doctor left, and Yuan was once again alone.
Yuan didn’t know how much time had passed but suddently he was taken out of his cell from another pair of demons and led into what once was the throne room. His wrists were bound on chains that came down and he was left alone; but not for long.
‘’Ah, hello didi, how are you feeling? I hope the cell wasn’t too uncomfortable for you.’’ Yuan looked towards the direction the voice was coming and he saw Gin. He was very different; his hair was left unbound and at the center of his forehead a red demon mark was shining brightly; his clothes were also different, way more elaborate that what he had been wearing in his time with Yuan. ‘’Gin… what are you doing? Why am I here?’’ his voice was soft, barely a whisper.
‘’Ah, so I’m not ‘ge’ anymore? Didi… you hurt me.’’ His tone was obviously mocking so Yuan didn’t answer, and just moved his eyes to the pavement.
‘’Well, it wouldn’t be fun later if you didn’t know everything so I will tell you.’’ Yuan’s heart skipped a beat when he heard ‘later’ and his eyes went back to his brother, a smirk telling him that was exactly what Gin wanted.’You see, Yuan, my mother apparently had demon blood within herself so I was able to awaken it; but that’s not why I allied myself with them. They just made me an offer I could not refuse.’’ While talking he had started slowly walking, getting nearer Yuan.
‘’All this years I had to pretend to be a beta, just because our father didn’t want an illegitimate child to be a stronger alpha than his heir. Me being taller and stronger than you was not acceptable if I was an alpha but it was allowed as a beta; that’s why he made me take repressants all this years, while you were allowed to do whatever you wanted; you didn’t even bother to learn how to control your pheromones.’’ Yuan was scared, Gin was so near that he could touch him.
‘’So, when the demons found me and I was held as a general because of my secondary gender I found out a couple of interesting things. Demons are in general more dominant than a normal person, and alphas… have a couple of special characteristics compared to humans.’’
Gin had been emitting his pheromones since the start of their conversation, very slowly, and now his scent had started to fill the room. Yuan couldn’t avoid smelling it and his own body started to emit his scent; only, it wasn’t his scent.

Yuan started trembling, he had understood what his brother’s was trying to say.
The slight change in his brother didn’t go unnoticed by Gin and he moved behind Yuan, touching his scent glands.
‘’I see you have started to understand. Demon’s alphas can trigger a process in human’s non dominant alphas that will turn them into what their natural gender should have been.’’ Yuan let out a small voice, cracking in the middle of the sentence. ‘’The doctor’s medicine…..’’
Gin laughed ‘’You see, you can be smart when you want to! Well, that wouldn’t be enough obviously but, with the help of my pheromones... You are now an omega! Just like you should always have been!’’ Yuan was crying, tears streaking his warm cheeks. ‘’Awww don’t cry didi; you should be happy! This is what you where meant to be from the start. ‘’NO! No! NO! You can’t do this!” Yuan started desperately struggling against his bonds, trying to break away from the chains but it was utterly useless.
Gin laughed as he tore Yuan’s clothes apart, leaving him naked attached to the chain.
