A month in, time going by fast,one Izuku Midoryia is realizing how fun it is to use his tech freely, even if he freaked out the second night into his stay here. Just like usual, there's sometimes a malfunction. Like a weird transformation glitch he had to get fixed. With the right tools. He's happy though. Here with Chris, Martin, Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy Z. He calls them the Turtuga Team. Easier to just use that as the whole team call sign. It's funner to say to if he's being honest.
He's free to be himself, he's free from Bakugos bullying, from the restrictions of a quirked society. He's just happy to be able to be here. With his Pseudo Brothers. With his Pseudo Sisters. He wasn't gonna tell them his past yet. He didn't exactly like the idea of seeming broken. It didn't matter right now though.
He's also currently on a creature adventure with Martin and Chris. Their looking for Snow Leopards and yeah it's a little cold, it's also fun to! He's really excited for this creature adventure, because their currently looking for one of his favorite big cats. "Chris! Martin! You're pretty slow for two guys that wanna see a pretty elusive wild cat! There's pretty much 4,080-6,590 Snow Leopards Left in the wild!" He pulls on a warm fuzzy coat. Grabbing his creature power suit. Waving to Aviva, Jimmy and Koki when he runs past.
Chris snorts and watches him run past, looking at his brother while he pulls on his boots. "Well of course Izuku. You're the fast one this time. We're excited to. Plus like you said, they're pretty elusive. Living in the Mountains of Central and South Asia. Plus they'll be hard to spot to, they blend in with their surroundings."
Chris smiles as he gets up. Pulling a warm coat, grabbing his own creature power suit. Brushing through his hair to get out the bed head knots he had yet to take care of. Stretching and greeting the others. Hearing Jimmy say they'd be arriving in half an hour. Okay, that was enough time to collect Martin, and the others to show them the awesome creature powers, of the snow Leopard.
Martin smiles as he's quick to pull on his things. Grabbing his creature power disks. "Well I for one, am excited to! Snow Leopards Chris! We're seeing snow Leopards! Which may I remind you are built for climbing through the mountainous terrain they call home! And their thick fur can help them survive the cold!"
He stretches and pockets a few other things. Grabbing a hiking bag to fill with snowshoes, snacks, another warm jacket just in case. "Plus we'll need to be just as agile. They can jump as high as 50 feet up into the air. An excellent jumper! They can jump much higher than a kangaroo thanks to their powerful legs."
Jimmy shudders from his pilot seat when they talk about the Leopards. He isn't going out there, he'll stay all cozied up in the Tortuga. Still keeping the Tortuga up in the air. Flying the the mountains of central Asia. Yep, staying here and taking a nap sounded so much better than trying to approach a Snow Leopard.
Koki looks over. "Oh really Martin. Is that really possible?" She watches him nod. So she heads to the big screen computer to type in Snow Leopards. Pressing play on footage that was caught of them. Waving the others over to the screen.
She watches the screen with wide eyes. Looking back at Martin with the same wide eyes. "You were right! That's amazing. Aviva are you seeing this!" She looked back at the screen, starting to type out the data for a moment.
Aviva nodded, watching the screen, a smile on her face. "increíble! That's amazing. That's a cool creature power. The power in those legs has got to be amazing!" She turns around to watch three power suit wielding males start to jump around excitedly.
The rest of the time is spent talking about tech that could be based off of Snow Leopards. If it was really safe to climb mountains without the right equipment. (Chris said yeah, but that's a given. He's the climbing bro for a reason.) Midoryia is excitedly sorting through his disks. He really wants Snow Leopard powers. So once they get there. He's the first to dart out of the Turtuga with snow boots and snow shoes.
Chris is quick to follow behind, his hiking bag on, along with his creature power disks in hand, and snowshoes on. "Wait up Speedy. Izuku you're gonna leave us in a cloud of snow there, bud." He looked back at the Turtuga, watching his brother leave before he turns back to Midoryia, a smile on his face.
He adjusts the bag, quickly following behind him. "Remember, gotta stay quiet around banks of snow around cliff edges, okay. Now we gotta wait for Martin. Who should be out any minute now. Knowing him he's probably making sure his creature pods charged."
Martin runs out wearing snow shoes as well. Shoving his creature pod into his pocket. "We're ready to go, right. You're all bundled up you two?" He watches Chris and Midoryia nod before he nodded right back. "Right. Now, to find that Snow Leopard." He grins and starts walking forward, a grin on his face.
He gets ahead of his brother and Midoryia, a happy look on his face. Another creature adventure with Chris, and Midoryia. If that wasn't comparable when they found other elusive creatures. Then he doesn't know what to compare it to. Midoryia added a certain spark to their team. Especially when he did what he's been itching to do since the platypus incident. Deck Gourmand in the face.
Midoryia perks up, continuing to look around the area. Using his gloved hands to cup around his eyes to see through the light refracted off the snow. Hoping to spot a snow Leopard, at least for a minute. A smile on his face, looking around to widen his search even by a bit.
Midoriya takes a deep breath, continuing to walk. Pausing when he hears snow crunching. His eyes wide when he finally spots the Leopard moments later. "Chris! Martin! There." He points the leopard out.
Both brothers eyes widen as they look at eachother. Then at Midoryia. How did he find one so fast. Then again. They knew he had a keen eye for seeing things. "Where Izuku, where?? Show us-"
They looked at eachother. Opening their mouths to tell the other that they were jinxed and that they got to try out the snow Leopard powers first if Aviva only made one disk before the heard Midoriya clear his throat. Looking back at h and nodding. They'd do the friendly brother battle later. Right now. They had a leopard to spot.
Midoriya points out the leopard. A big grin on his face. Right there you two, right there. Aren't they super pretty." Even though Midoryia was fifteen he'd still act like a little kid over animals and hero's. He didn't care either. It was creature time. Not feel bad about yourself time." He watches as they finally stop the cat. Starting to scan the big cat and look over the data, handing it over to Aviva through the creature pod.
Martin smiles brightly as he taps at his chin. "Oh, what should I name them.. what should I name them. If only I could get a closer look-" he jolts when Chris hands him a pair of binoculars. Thanking him and using them to look at the Snow Leopard.
"Snow cloud? No. To obvious, to cliche. Loud cloud? No, no that won't work either. They don't seem loud at all.." he starts to pace. "Oh a name is on the tip of my tongue. I can't spit it out. Come on. Come on, I can do this. I've come up with many names in the past. Bandito, Coach, slurpee.. hmmm.. aha! I'll name them. Snowpatch! It's perfect!"
Chris smiles and steps over a few rocks. Starting to slowly approach to get a closer look. Gasping when he sees two cubs following the Leopard. "Martin! Chris look! Sow Leopard Cubs! This is great. This means that they'll slowly grow their members of their species."
Chris hears Martin name the cubs hikes and Snowshoe. Rolling his eyes fondly when he hears Aviva call in. Talking about how the information they gave her was good enough to get through the creature power disk half way. Starting to list off more information with the help of Martin, and Midoryia.
And minutes later, they get the creature power suit disks. Slipping them into the slots. Slowly approaching the Snow Leopard family. Activating their creature power suits. Watching as the green, blue, and teal glow washes over them. It was always an experience to become the creature. To be the creature.
Midoryia smiles as he playfully shoves Martin before he's quick to leap to higher, sturdier ground. A grin on his face as he looked down. "You gonna come get me Martin? You won't be able to catch me!" He grins until he watched both Martin and Chris get ready to leap up. Getting away from the edge.
Martin grins as he follows. Following him the whole time. Chris not far behind. There having fun. This fun. Creature adventures with friends are fun to.
