Marinette found herself walking alone as she has found herself doing more often than she would like to admit because she had become the plague of the school
Not long after master fu gave up the mantle of being the guardian to Marinette she found herself being overwhelmed with being a good friend and daughter while also dealing school, and being the guardian
When Marinette got home she had found herself working on a dress alya asked her to make. Alya refused to tell her why she needed a dress but her being the nice person she is fell into the pier pressure and agreed to make the dress Marinette had done two all-nighters to get the dress done on time
Marinette barely found herself talking to any of her classmates excluding Adrian. Adrian was the only one besides Chloe that didn’t come talk to her to get free stuff from her. Marinette had found out that she was being used a month prior when alya and the rest of the class asked for dresses and suits without telling her why they needed them but she went on and made all the dresses and suits took a week and a few days on the day they came to pick up the dresses they just took what they wanted and a few pastries and left only saying thank you to her parents for the pastries
Marinette was feeling a mix of emotions she was angry and surprised confused and didn’t know what to do so she transformed into ladybug and followed the few classmates to julikas house boat partying as she watched her classmates who she works so hard every day to please just attend a party witch all the clothes she spent days and nights making party knowing she wasn’t their the only people that she couldn’t see was Adrian and Chloe
Ladybug just sat there watching and listening to them party until she heard a particular conversation going on she heard Lila ask alya “why do you still even talk to Marinette she’s just a stupid useless bully” alya’s reply broke Marinette alya said “obviously because we’re using her think about it her parents run the best bakery in Paris and she is basically just giving us free great quality clothes” Marinette was pissed after she heard that and recorded the rest of the conversation witch was just them ranting about how they were using her and Adrian for free stuff and then she heard alya say “if only Chloe was as dumb as them we would be able to get what ever we wanted afterwards she took the recording and sent it to her phone
When she got back home she did nothing but cry with tiki watching over-her conferring her until she eventually dosed off to the silent comfort of sleep
The next day she called Adrian and Chloe and told them to meet up in her house and she waited while taking care of her necessities like brushing her teeth taking a shower and taking care of her hair as she was done about forty minutes had passed and Adrian had entered
Marinette had waited for half an hour before he arrived
