Class 1A Finally Broke Aizawa

Summary:

No one isn't really sure how Class 1A traumatized Aizawa enough to put him in the hospital during homeroom.

Notes:

Let me just formally apologize for having you guys read this.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Aizawa was suspicious of his class. They all arrived a little bit earlier than usual.

He had a bad feeling when he saw them nod and gave each other thumbs up.

Vlad King was in the middle of going over Class 1B’s lesson plan when he heard someone screaming.

“Noo! Noo!” Aizawa screamed.

Aizawa’s screech could be heard from the other side of the campus.

Kan stopped writing on the chalkboard and turned to his class.

His students were looking at each other wondering what was going on.

“I’m gonna check on Class 1A. Y’all stay here!” Vlad King said, giving Neito the stink eye as he ran out.

Neito held out his hands out in defense wondering what he did wrong.

Kan quickly entered the Class 1A classroom, bewildered by the fact all of the students were surrounding their teacher who was sitting in a corner hiding his face between his knees and rocking back and forth.

Shouta was also quietly sobbing.

“Was there a Villain attack?!” Kan questioned.

The Class snickered.

“But Mister Aizawa-” Denki said, approaching a bit closer with his arm out.

“Noo!” Aizawa shouted as he scooted closer into the corner.

“Stay the fuck back!” Aizawa yelled as he grabbed his scarf.

“What did you guys do?!” Kan snapped.

“We...We broke him.” Tenya said.

The class bursted out laughing.

Kan made his way through the crowd and reached his hand towards Aizawa.

“Shouta?” Kan said.

Aizawa slapped away Kan’s hand before saying: “Don’t touch me!” and bursted out crying.

Kan sighed.

“My students are monsters.” Aizawa said in between hiccups.

Kan clicked his tongue and told the 1A class to go down to the Principal's Office. He then called Recovery Girl to come down to the 1A classroom over the intercom.

His left eye twitched as he saw some of the students high-five each other as they left the classroom.

When all of the students left, Shouta relaxed against the wall and stretched out his legs.

“Sho?” Kan said.

He snapped his fingers. Shouta wasn’t responsive.

Kan had a bad feeling about this.

“What did they do?!” Recovery Girl said after barging into the classroom.

She pulled out her stethoscope and checked Shouta’s breathing.

“I don’t know. They must have traumatized him or something.” Kan explained.

“Tch.” Recovery Girl said before pulling a small flashlight and shining it in Shouta’s eyes.

His eyes didn't constrict.

“Uh oh.” Chiyo blurted out.

“Uh oh?!” Kan said.

“We need to call an ambulance! His pupils are fixed which is a sign of brain damage. He’s also in a catatonic state.” Chiyo yelled.

“What the fuck?! What did the kids do? He wasn’t even injured.” Kan shouted.

Kan’s heart sank when Chiyo told him Shouta might be brain dead.

The paramedics came and took Aizawa to the hospital.

Fortunately for him, he wasn’t brain dead, he just had a severe episode of catatonia and was treated with medication.

Nezu sighed over relief when the hospital told him of Aizawa’s condition over the phone.

Now he’s trying to figure out what to do with the problem children.

He decided to expel the whole entire class and press charges against them.

Aizawa was on extended leave until further notice.

Nezu was in his office looking over some paperwork when Shouta walked into his office.

“Shouta? What a surprise. I thought you were still recovering in the hospital.” Nezu said.

Nezu’s eyes widened when he saw Shouta still had a hospital band on his wrist. He wondered if he escaped the hospital somehow.

“I’m not pressing charges. Re-enroll my students!” Shouta said as he slammed Nezu’s desk.

“Shouta. I’m not sure if I can-”

“It was for extra credit! I didn’t say they could group up for their extra credit project but I never said they couldn’t.” Shouta explained.

The next day the Class 1A returned to school.

The other students and faculty became wary of them as they never learned how the teens traumatized Eraserhead (a man known for being fearless) enough to put him into a catatonic state.
