renjun stares at the harsh and relenting waves of the ocean, already feeling homesick after 2 days of travelling.
"so you're going back to snezhnaya?" renjun stares at the harbinger in training, lips pressed in a thin line.
"ah, yes i am.. after my bro— i mean, after childe's osial fiasco, the citizens are quite weary of us.. and our reputations are not so great at the moment.. although it never was.." donghyuck sighs.
"anyway, i really appreciated your company while I'm here in liyue.." donghyuck smiles, "if you want to... you can visit me in morespok.. if you still don't know childe's family took me in so they're basically my family too.." He chuckles shyly, "so yeah.. i guess this is goodbye?"
"bye hyuck.. see you soon.." renjun smiles.
"uh.. here.." donghyuck removes his coat and gives it to renjun, "you're gonna need it if you go to snezhnaya..." reluctantly, hyuck starts to walk away.
renjun looks at donghyucks retreating figure, "the breeze in liyue has always been refreshing, but why does it feel so cold today?" He mutters.
donghyuck looks back at the port, stares straight to renjuns eyes then smiles and waves.
renjun closes his eyes and breathes, he steps into snezhnaya's busy port and tugs his—donghyuck's coat, "hello.." he whispers.
travelling from the port to morespok was a tad bit hard for renjun, although he is well-versed in all languanges he still struggles to approach other people, especially since he's not in his hometown.
renjun rode an elemental vehicle, "snezhnaya's advancements in technology really fascinates me", he thoughts,
"where to sir?" the operator asks,
"to morespok please."
morespok is a lively village, smiles are everywhere and despite the cold weather he still feels warm because of the people.
"hello, do you happen to know a donghyuck?" renjun asks a lady, "oh donghyuck! he's in that house" the lady points at the house north east, not too close to the shore but also not too far.
"thank you miss!"
hyucks home is very... normal, knowing donghyuck, renjun expected that he would see a house that is out of the ordinary. something that will scream donghyuck the moment you see it. on the contrary, renjun was met with a two story house with a green house beside it, a smell of warm musky cedar hits his nose,
"renjun?"
renjun looks behind him and sees Donghyuck, "hello hyuck" he smiles.
