Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Chapter Text
Uraraka smiled as she pressed the button on the gate to the Todoroki residence and the butler's voice came over the intercom. “Welcome, Ochako-san. Todoroki-sama is waiting for you.”
Uraraka couldn't ever get over Momo's opulent existence, she noted to herself as the gate opened and she walked down the gravel path that led through a traditional Japanese garden to the main house. She came around a bend in the path and saw Momo reclining on the covered deck while the twins played in the front yard.
The twins were as adorable as ever. Hotaru and Isamu were almost mirror images of each other, with Hotaru's hair half black and half red, while her brother, Isamu had half black and half white hair.
“Chako-nee!” Hotaru squealed in glee as she charged her, arms extended as Uraraka scooped her up, careful not to make the toddler float. Isamu followed his sister at a more sedate pace as Momo laughed.
“It has been far too long, Uraraka.”
“It has,” Uraraka agreed as she carried Hotaru over to the deck.
“Fly, fly!” Hotaru demanded, and Ochako laughed. She sat and held the girl by the waist as her fingertips glowed pink. The toddler squealed as Uraraka “flew” the girl, making whooshing sounds as the girl extended her hands and feet.
“Is everything okay? I was concerned when I got a call out of the blue.”
Uraraka's smile faltered a little bit. “Well, I got hit with some unexpected news, and was hoping to get some advice from you.”
Momo frowned. “Of course. Anything.” And Uraraka felt a surge of gratitude as tears tried to well up, because she knew that Momo meant it. They had been through so much at UA together, become friends, and now they shared the bond of metamours as Deku and Shoto still managed to make time for each other, despite them both having duties of being a Pro-Hero and Shoto balancing his wife and fatherhood.
Uraraka set down Hotaru and Momo called for the children's nanny, Aiko, handing them off to the older woman. “Kaa-san needs to spend some time with Ochako-nee,” she explained. Hotaru pouted, but Aiko took the toddlers in hand quickly as Momo got to her feet and guided Uraraka back to the garden path. It was quiet between them for a long few moments as they walked together and Uraraka gathered her thoughts. She appreciated that Momo never rushed her and was always willing to listen.
Finally, she broke the silence. “I'm pregnant.”
Momo covered her mouth as her eyes lit up. “Oh, Uraraka, this must be so big for you!”
“Heh, yeah. I mean, I'm not married to any of my partners, so I'm sure I'm going to get some odd looks.”
Momo frowned. “While I don't believe that matters, there are plenty of judgmental people out there,” she acknowledged. “Is that what's bothering you?”
“Well, I guess that's some of it. But, the biggest issue is that I'm not sure whether the father is Katsuki or Deku.”
Momo blinked. “Oh. Oh, no. That's going to be... complicated.”
“Yeah, tell me about it.” Uraraka sighed. Katsuki and Deku's rivalry was legendary, and she wasn't sure she'd have the patience to deal with them fighting over her again. It had been difficult enough when they started this whole polyamory journey back in UA.
“But, you're sure it isn't Iida or Kirishima's?” Momo asked after a few moments of silence.
“Well, Iida's been in America for the last three months on assignment, so it can't be his,” she explained.
“Oh, that's right. Shoto mentioned that Deku's been really missing him.”
“Yeah, but he's coping. They video chat almost every night.”
“That's good. Long distance is always difficult.”
Uraraka hummed in agreement. “And it can't be Kirishima, because we're just metamours.”
“Oh, I thought your relationship with Bakugo and Kirishima was like the one with Midoriya and Iida,” Momo tilted her head in mild curiosity.
“No, it’s just me and Katsuki. Kirishima usually is busy when I come over, or goes out to give us some privacy,” Uraraka clarified.
“It's always nice when metamours are considerate,” Momo agreed. “Denki often takes the twins for me so I can spend quality time with Jirou. Although I think he's trying to convince her that he'd make a good dad. Which he will, but I don't think she's ready to put a pause on her Hero work. Speaking of which, how is this going to affect your Pro-Hero work with Team Iidaten?”
Uraraka frowned. “I suspect Iida will put me on deskwork as soon as he finds out. I can't blame him, though. If I got hurt in the line of work it could hurt the baby... Man, that feels so weird, saying it out loud like that.”
Momo smiled. “It can be a little surreal at first. How far along do you think you are?”
“Umm... I have no idea. How do you even tell?” Suddenly Uraraka felt a little self-conscious. While she'd always figured she'd have a family some day, she hadn't really learned much about pregnancy other than what little they covered in Health Ed.
“You count the weeks from when you had your last period,” Momo informed her.
“Oh, well, then I'm about two weeks late, so 6 or 7 weeks, I guess?” Uraraka shrugged. “Or about that.”
“About halfway through the first trimester, then. Do you have any symptoms?”
“Oh, nausea for sure. That's why I took the test. I was hoping I just had a stomach flu, but I kind of knew that it wasn't.”
Momo nodded and they walked together in silence for a few minutes. “So, you said you wanted advice on something. What can I do to help?”
Uraraka smiled. “Well, I’m trying to decide how to break the news to my group. How did you go about it?”
Momo’s smile was almost radiant, her cheeks slightly pink. “Well, my situation is slightly different from yours. Shoto is my only male partner, so I just told him when I realized.” Everyone from Class 1-A had attended the wedding less than a year after graduation and it hadn’t surprised most of the class that baby shower invites had been issued less than a year after that. “And I pretty much told Jirou at the same time. Honestly, if I were in your situation, I’d just call a ‘family meeting’ and tell everyone together. It might be a little messy, but then everyone is on the same page. Are you worried about how they’ll take it?”
“A little,” she admitted. “I know that all of them will support me, but there’s always that little part of me that worries. Although, I might invite Kirishima just because he seems to be able to keep Katsuki in line the best of all of us.”
Momo laughed. “That’s true. I don’t think he’d have made it through school without Kirishima to balance him out.”
Uraraka leaned her head against Momo’s shoulder. “Thanks.”
Momo wrapped her arm around her friend’s shoulder. “I’m just glad I could help.”
Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Chapter Text
Uraraka was trying to keep herself busy cleaning and cooking as the ‘family meeting’ approached, her hands covered in batter as she carefully breaded pork filets for tonkatsu. Uraraka had talked with everyone and figured out that tonight was the first day that they all had off together. Iida still had to video chat in, but at least she would only have to have this conversation once. Well… she admitted, maybe twice. Her parents occasionally asked her when she was going to settle down and marry one of those nice boys she’s leading along, but most of the time they just simply didn’t ask and she didn’t tell. This baby would undoubtedly change things a bit. She just hoped that her parents would trust her to make the right choices for her and her family.
She heard the door open and Izuku called out down the hall, “I’m home!”
“Welcome home!” She replied. “I’m in the kitchen.”
Izuku kicked off his shoes and came wandering into the kitchen. “Wow, you’re really going all out!”
Uraraka giggled. “Well, I wanted to make sure we had enough for everyone.” The table was set with all sorts of tasty treats.
“Is everything really okay, Urarako?” Izuku asked quietly as he wrapped his arms around her from behind, nuzzling her neck lightly.
She leaned back into his steadying presence, letting his scent envelop her. “It's not anything bad, my love. It's just important to me, and I want to be able to talk to everyone at once.”
“Sorry, I can’t help being anxious sometimes…” he trailed off as Uraraka rubbed her cheek against his.
“I know. Thanks for putting up with me being silly about it.”
“Pfft .. I think you’ve put up with me way more than I’ve had to ever put up with you.”
Uraraka giggled as he started trailing kisses up and down her neck and ear. “Deku, I’ve gotta finish these before everyone gets here. Go take your bath, silly.”
“Yeah, yeah, I’ll be good,” he pulled back, sliding his hand across her waist and kissing her head before heading to the back and Uraraka smiled to herself. It had taken a lot of encouragement to get him confident enough to be this casually affectionate, but it was so worth it.
The door opened a second time and Tsuyu’s voice rang out. “I’m home, ribbit!”
Uraraka and Izuku both responded, his voice slightly muffled by the door to his room.
“This place is spotless, ribbit,” Tsuyu noted as she headed into the kitchen.
“Well, I guess I’ve been looking forward to tonight all day and had to get the energy out somehow,” Uraraka acknowledged as she started frying the cutlets in oil.
“That smells good.Is Izuku using the bath?”
“He’s getting ready to get in, if you want to join him,” Uraraka suggested and Tsuyu blushed. Their relationship had only really started developing in the last year since they all moved in together. Tsuyu had crushed on Izuku for years, but hadn’t ever acted on it until Uraraka had suggested that maybe they should explore it.
“Y...yeah. I think I’ll do that, ribbit,” Tsuyu agreed and wandered towards the bathroom.
Uraraka felt that odd little mixture of happiness and worry wind its way through her again and smiled. ‘I wonder if it ever gets easier,’ she wondered to herself. On the one hand she was happy for both of them to find happiness and peace together. Everyone had been through so much and they deserved every moment of joy that they could wring from life. But that didn’t stop the slight worry that perhaps they wouldn’t need her in their lives any more, now that they had found each other. She knew that it was ridiculous; Izuku sharing her with Tenya, Bakugo, or Tsuyu hadn’t diminished her feelings for Izuku, or any other combination of partners. Admittedly, it had gotten slightly easier when Tenya and Izuku managed to convince her and Tsuyu to let the lease expire on their apartment and just move all four of them into the larger apartment that the Iida family had provided for their youngest son. They all still contributed to their home, but not having to travel to see each other had its benefits.
She shook her head and finished with her setup. Food on table - check. Laptop set up for video - check. By the time she’d cleaned up the kitchen they were done with their bath and hanging out in the living room, discussing their day.
When the doorbell rang, she nearly jumped out of her skin. Izuku got up and answered the door, and she could hear Kirishima in the hall.
“Hey, man. Thanks for having us over!”
“No problem,” Izuku grinned. “Uraraka is the one who's gone out of her way to set everything up.”
“Tch.” Bakugo’s attitude had improved since highschool, but his relationship with Izuku wasn’t always what people would call “friendly.”
“Come in, before the food gets cold,” Uraraka called.
“All right!” Kirishima grinned and headed to the table, coming around to give Uraraka a hug. “Hey, Cheeks.”
“Hi, Red,” she squeezed him back. “You getting into trouble?”
“Always.” He stepped back and held her at arm’s length. “Is it just me, or are you looking extra thicc?”
Uraraka squeaked and flushed, barely avoiding making herself float as she covered her face in her hands.
“Cut it out, Shitty Hair!” Bakugo, growled.
“I guess we’ve been neglecting our training a bit with everything that’s been going on, ribbit,” Tsuyu interjected.
“Hahaha, yeah, well, we’d better start eating before it gets cold,” Uraraka deflected, but Bakugo’s gaze held hers for a few moments too long. ‘Darn him for always being way more perceptive than he should be.’
However, Izuku started pulling out his chair and everyone followed suit, and soon everyone was seated. “Itadakimasu!”
Uraraka tried to enjoy the meal, and keep up with conversation, but her mind wandered, and she found herself fretting and distracted. They needed to be on the computer at 7 to connect with Tenya; the smell of egg was turning her stomach, but the pickled cucumber was delicious.
“Hey, Cheeks, you there?” Bakugo asked, waving his chopsticks in front of her face and she jumped.
“Uh, yeah! Sorry, I’m just caught up in my thoughts.” Everyone gave her worried looks around the table. She tried “Izuku, can you set up the computer while I get things cleaned up?”
“Uh, sure,” Izuku said, grabbing the laptop and waking it from sleep mode as he headed over to the couch where it would be easier to try to get everyone gathered.
“Are you sure she’s okay, Nerd?” Bakugo growled quietly as he sat beside the green-haired man.
“She keeps saying she is,” Deku muttered as he typed in the password.
“Yeah. She just has the video chat ready to start with one click. And a huge dinner that she barely ate. And has been acting weird for the last week. But she’s just fine. Right.”
Izuku sighed. “Look, I’m sure she has a good reason for this.”
“She better.”
“I’m calling Iida now,” Izuku called loudly enough that Kirishima, Tsuyu, and Uraraka could hear over the noise of clearing the table and washing dishes.
“Kay, we’re almost done here,” Uraraka called back.
It was still a few minutes early, but Tenya’s familiar dark hair, square jaw, and glasses appeared on the screen almost immediately.
“Greetings,” Tenya said, raising one hand. “Can you hear me?”
“Yep, you’re coming through loud and clear,” Izuku replied. It made Uraraka smile because it was how they started pretty much every conversation.
“Hello Bakugo. Where is everyone else?”
“Oh, they’re cleaning up from dinner. Uraraka made tonkatsu.”
“Ah, and now I’m jealous. Her food is always delicious.”
“Oh, you charmer,” Uraraka said, dropping onto the couch next to Izuku.
“Hello, Raka,” Tenya’s smile was genuine.
“Hey Iida, how’s America treating you?” Kirishima asked as he sat next to Bakugo.
“I have been very happy with the work and accommodations that have been provided to me, although I do admit that I miss home cooked meals.”
“American food just isn’t the same, ribbit,” Tsuyu agreed. She’d done a half year there for an internship right out of UA.
“Can we get this damn family meeting over with already,” growled Bakugo.
Everyone quieted and Uraraka took a deep breath. “Yeah, let’s. Okay, thanks for waiting. What I wanted to tell everyone is that I’m pregnant.”
The silence stretched out for a moment before Tsuyu squealed and wrapped her partner in a tight hug.
Kirishima’s eyes were wide and practically sparkling. “I’m gonna be an uncle!”
“Congratulations should be in order,” Iida commented, although Uraraka noted that he seemed a little stunned. “But, I have to ask, who do you think is the father?”
Uraraka glanced at Izuku and Bakugo and realized that both of them were staring at her. Izuku’s eyes were wide and she could practically see the mixture of hope and anxiety seeping from him. Bakugo, on the other hand, was looking stunned, his mouth slightly open and his face somewhat blank.
“Well, given the time frame, it could be either Izuku or Katsuki. I’m… not entirely sure.”
“Ribbit,” Tsuyu croaked into the silence.
“Indeed,” Iida muttered. “Then, how do you wish to go about this?”
“It’s simple, four-eyes. We split the father duties and go to all the bullshit appointments until we know who the dad is,” Katsuki snarled.
“Wait, both of us?” Izuku turned to Katsuki in surprise.
“Yeah, I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to miss out on anything if it might be my kid, you understand, nerd?”
“Well, yeah, I don’t want to miss out on anything either. But, is that okay with you, Uraraka?”
Uraraka smiled. “Yeah. Honestly, with all of our schedules it’ll be nice to know that I won’t have to do it alone.”
“Chako, you would never be alone, ribbit,” Tsuyu told her, entwining their fingers together. “Even if none of us were available, Momo, Mina, Todoroki, or any of the others would totally step up to help. We’re family.”
“Indeed,” said Iida. “I wish I was there right now. I’ll put in a request to be sent back to Japan tomorrow.”
“But Tenya, you’re still supposed to be there for the next three months!” Uraraka frowned. “I don’t want to cause any trouble for your career.”
“I want to be there for our family’s first baby, Uraraka. I can always continue Hero work in Japan,” Iida smiled at her and finally all the tears came flooding out.
“Uraraka!” Izuku wrapped his arms around her as she started to bawl.
“Hey, what the hell, Cheeks!” Bakugo snarled, reaching past Izuku to run his fingers through her hair. “You know we’re here for you.” Tsuyu wrapped her arms around her from the other side as Uraraka leaned on Izuku’s shoulder.
“I know, I just… I love you all so much.” Uraraka sniffled as another round of tears streamed down her face.
“Oi, don’t tell me pregnancy hormones are going to make you like this the entire time?” Bakugo grumped, ruffling her hair.
“No, sometimes they’ll make me hungry or horny or angry. At least that’s what the stuff I’ve looked up online says.”
“Well, I don’t mind the middle one.” Bakugo smirked.
She smirked and peeked at him over Izuku’s shoulder. “Pervert.” He just grinned at her.
“So, when do we want to start telling people about this?” Izuku asked as Uraraka disentangled herself from his lap. “I know my mom’s going to want to know.”
Uraraka bit her lip. “Well, I’m going to be seeing my folks this weekend, and I want to tell them then. I kind of already told Momo,” she looked at the group with a somewhat guilty expression.
Izuku nodded. “You went to her for advice?” Uraraka nodded.
“That makes sense, ribbit,” Tsuyu noted. “I mean, she’s the only other mom in the group yet.”
Uraraka giggled. “Well, according to her, Denki was hoping Jirou would be the second, but I guess we beat her to it.”
“Pikachu a dad? Could things get any weirder?” Bakugo rolled his eyes.
“Two words, bakubro: Papa Mineta,” Kirishima opined.
Everyone shuddered. There had been a brief scare when Mineta’s creepy stalker ex-girlfriend, Sato, had claimed she was pregnant to try and get him back, but eventually everything had been sorted out.
“Dude, that was uncalled for.” Bakugo shook his head. “Now I need brain bleach again.”
Everyone laughed, but Ururaka brought them back to the discussion at hand.
“Honestly, I think you can tell people at your leisure. I mean, I’m probably going to make a post in the class 1A group chat anyway, so it's really just telling parents.”
“Well, my mom doesn’t really understand our whole living situation, but I’m sure she’ll be thrilled about grandbabies regardless,” Izuku admitted.
Uraraka giggled. Inko had been dropping broad hints for almost three years.
“Well, I think most of our parents are going to be excited about a baby,” Kirishima noted. “I mean, not that I’m really involved.”
“On the contrary,” Iida spoke up. “You’re still part of our family, and so you can be involved as you wish to be.”
“I mean,” said Izuku, “I grew up with just me and my mom, and while I love her, I kind of wish that there had been more adults for me to look up to in my life. I adored All Might, but I didn’t get to see him as a flawed human until I was older and I think I would have made some better decisions if I’d realized that even Heroes were just people too. I want my kids to see all sorts of Heroes and learn from all of them.”
Uraraka reached out and traced her fingers along one of the scars that ran along his arm. It was true that Izuku had internalized that he had to do things on his own and struggled to rely on others even after everything he’d been through. She really didn’t blame Inko, but raising him without his father had left some wounds.
“Do you want someone to go with you when you tell your parents?” Bakugo asked, changing the subject.
“Um… no. I think I’m going to talk to them by myself,” Uraraka noted.
“One minute she’s crying because she’s happy we’ll be there, and the next she’s telling us she doesn’t need us,” Bakugo noted.
She stuck her tongue out at him. “I am happy about you guys being supportive. I just… have been skirting around the edges of explaining my relationships with everyone, and I just want to lay it all out for them. And I don’t want them getting the impression that whoever I bring is “the most special one” or something. I know that they’ll support me, but it may take a little work for them to understand.”
The evening started to wind down after that. Iida had to log off soon after, Tsuyu had a night shift, and Kirishima and Bakugo headed home.
Izuku sat on the couch, his arm around Uraraka and she leaned against him. “Feel better?”
She smiled sleepily. “Yeah.”

Chapter Text
Bakugo hadn’t been terribly surprised when the 1A group chat blew up the next morning at Uraraka’s announcement. He also hadn’t been entirely surprised that it had mostly been the Bakasquad that had launched into the immediate speculation as to which one of them was the father. His hands had clenched into fists and he’d had to focus on his breathing until the tension had settled. He didn’t have the budget to replace his phone this month, especially since he needed to put some aside to help Ochako…
Kami-sama… was he going to be a father? He flopped back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Whether the kid was his or Deku’s, this would change everything. It was already so hard to schedule time together; they had careers that could take them anywhere in Japan, or even the world. She already had to balance Iida, Deku, and even Tsuyu. How was she going to have any time for him?
Bakugo hadn’t had an answer, and instead of responding to the drivel in his head or his phone, he had headed out to the gym to blow off steam
He wasn’t surprised that people gave him a wider birth than usual throughout the day, either. While his temper was much cooler now than it had been in middle and high school, his agitation was easy to spot. Despite feeling guilty for the childish outbursts, he found that it was easier to take it out on the training equipment than on his coworkers or the general population.
And, if he was being honest, he wasn’t surprised when it was Mina that met him at the end of his shift with a grin. Her signature pink skin glowed with the luster of healthy living and she was wearing a snug skirt and tank top that hugged her generous curves with a denim jacket thrown over it to help ward off any spring chill. Since Kirishima wouldn’t be home until late tonight, he suspected the two had connived to make sure he wasn’t alone all evening. It would be just like his boyfriend to meddle like that. The jerk.
“Okay, Mr. Murder King, drinks are on me tonight!” she’d declared, draping her arm around him and practically dragging him to her favorite karaoke bar.
As she ordered food and drinks, Bakugo had queued up several of her songs to deter her from immediately grilling him, which she allowed. As she sang, he examined her. Despite some popular rumors, he’d never been one of her many lovers. Bakugo had never understood Mina’s carefree way of life and interest in casual sexual relationships. Their friendship almost hadn’t survived his jealousy of her and Kirishima’s short-lived romance, but a night locked in UA’s detention center had led to some interesting heart-to-heart discussion and the first time he’d ever admitted that he felt more than friendship for Kirishima.
“Earth to Bakugo? You gonna to sing a song or not?” Mina asked, bringing him out of his reverie.
“I’m not really in a singing mood, Racoon Eyes,” he growled, but there was no real heat behind the words.
“Well, if you aren’t gonna sing, then I guess you get to drink.”
“Mina…”
"What, afraid you'll lose?" Mina cooed.
###
Kirishima was wiped when he left the elevator and headed towards his apartment. It had been a long shift, with one thing after another keeping them on their toes. He hadn’t had time to take a break or even text Bakugo to make sure things were going okay on his own. So, he was pretty surprised when he heard raucous laughter coming from the apartment.
He pushed open the door and was met with a level of chaos that was a little overwhelming, given how neat Bakugo usually kept the place. Sake and beer bottles decorated the floor and kotatsu table, along with several takeout containers and bags of snacks, both salty and sweet. He looked back and forth between his ex and his boyfriend as they shouted “Go!” and dropped a shot of sake into a mug of beer and chugged. They slammed the mugs down and Mina swayed and layed down on the floor.
“Hey, Kiri. Lookin’ good, sugar,” Mina cooed from the floor.
"Uh, what’s going on here?" Kirishima asked, watching her awkwardly, not sure if trying to help would get him sucked into her chaos.
"I fuckin' WON," Bakugo slurred.
"Sit yer ass down, King Explosion Murder! You haven't won shit!” Mina shouted, trying to sit up, but mostly just flailing her arms and rolling around like a flipped turtle.
Kirishima eyed them both. "Do I really want to know?"
"I'm helping Bakugo here relax," Mina explained before starting to hiccup.
"I'm always fucking relaxed. I don't need nobody's fucking help."
"Right, buddy, I think it's time to get you to bed..." Kirishima started.
Bakugo's eyes flashed and Kirishima suddenly hoped that Bakugo wasn't about to do something that would cause them to lose the deposit on the apartment.
"I think that's my cue to head out," Mina noted, righting herself suddenly, seeming just a bit more sober than she had a moment before. Kirishima noted the almost predatory look in Bakugo's eyes.
"R...right," Kirishima noted, not taking his eyes off of his partner. When he got in a mood like this, it was a little bit like watching a tiger stalk its prey and he knew from experience that he would be an idiot to ignore him.
"Good luck!" Mina called as she bolted out the door, a bag of snacks and her purse dangling from one arm.
Kirishima made the mistake of looking back towards the door, and Bakugo pounced, toppling both of them over onto the floor. Kirishima was suddenly very happy that he’d figured out how to harden parts of his body as his skull and back absorbed the damage as he fell backwards, while he caught Bakugo in a softer embrace. But he didn’t have time to think as Bakugo started to kiss and bite at his neck. It felt good, but Bakugo wasn’t exactly being subtle and he was sure he was going to have marks tomorrow. He ran his hands up Bakugo’s back and into his hair, gently pulling back until they were looking at each other.
“So, are you going to tell me what’s wrong, Kats?”
Bakugo paused, looking away and biting his lip. He hated when Kirishima did this. Killing the mood with talking. But he was right. He needed to talk. “I… I don’t know if I’m going to be able to be a good dad. I mean, my parents aren’t exactly the model of a healthy family…”
"Kats, it's going to be okay. It will all be okay. We are going to give the little one all of the love they deserve. We'll all make it work."
"Damn sure we'll make it work,” Bakugo snarled, then settled again. “I just... I already have to share her so much."
Kirishima's eyes widened slightly before he smiled.
"I can't say that you won't have to share her more, but... I think there will be times you really don't mind." Then Kirishima grinned. "Besides! I can help take care of the little one too! Takes a village and all that, y'know"
Bakugo rolled his eyes and pulled him closer so that he could tuck his head under Kirishima's chin. "Of course you're excited," he muttered against his neck.
"Of course... I mean, you and I can't really have kids... But I'm really happy our family is growing bigger. And I mean with everyone."
Bakugo stilled for a moment. "Do you want kids?"
He realized he'd never asked it before, despite them being together for almost eight years.
"Hmmm.. I mean, I can't say I haven't thought about it before. But with everything else in our life, it never seemed like it was something urgent or anything." Kirishima said.
Bakugo relaxed slightly. "Y'know, I'd totally give you a kid if you wanted one."
Kirishima laughed. "Katsuki, you're drunk."
"I'm serious. I bet I'm manly enough to knock you up." Bakego grinned up at his partner.
Kirishima stopped laughing and looked at Bakugo, "Wait, are you being serious?"
Bakugo rolled his eyes. "No, you idiot. But I bet I could make you beg me to try." He smirked.
Bakugo could see the blush starting to rise on Kirishima's face and from the way that Kirishima was twitching slightly, he was sure that he was into it too.

Chapter 4
Uraraka curled into her pillow, her nose stuffed and throat tight from crying. Uraraka wasn't sure if it had been the morning sickness or the nerves, but she hadn't been able to keep down much today.
Her parents… hot tears threatened to form at the thought.
Her phone pinged and she considered ignoring it, but she recognized it as Bakugo’s chime and glanced at the notification. It was a link to a video. She opened it, curious. He wasn’t often the type to send stuff like that. “They Don’t Know About Us” from One Direction played, and Uraraka squeaked as she was carried away by the music. “Katsuki…” Uraraka felt tears start to well up again, but this time it wasn’t anger or sadness. Her phone pinged again and another message appeared from him.
“The nerd told me how things went… want me to bring over chinese?”
“Yes,” she texted back immediately. “Thank you.”
“No problem. Be there in 10. Eat some crackers so you aren’t nauseous.”
“k”
She smiled at her phone for a minute before hopping up and grabbing some crackers and clean clothes and rushing to the bathroom to freshen up. It was kind of amazing that he’d figured out that she needed to eat something small before she ate a big meal, but it seemed to help sometimes. It made her smile, thinking about him pulling up pregnancy blogs to figure things out, but he’d always been good at studying.
She knew it was a little selfish to have him over, since he’d need to be up early tomorrow, but with Midoriya and Tsuyu gone on hero duty, she wanted the company.
She felt halfway respectable by the time the buzzer went off on the door and rushed up to open it. Katsuki had a half dozen bags, all filled with various styrofoam containers. She was surprised that the smell didn’t nauseate her, but apparently the crackers had done some good.
“Missed me?” Katsuki asked, smirking.
“Yes,” she said honestly, and she leaned in and hooked his shirt to pull him in for a kiss. He indulged her for a moment, then pulled back.
“Careful, Cheeks, or your dinner is going to be all over the ceiling.”
She laughed, but disentangled herself so they could eat. Her stomach gurgled at the smell and she was glad it was a hungry one instead of an upset one.
They went through the routine of opening cartons and serving with minimal talk or fuss. Katsuki was actually a pretty quiet person when he wasn't being King Explosion Murder.
“So, wanna talk about it?” he finally asked.
She sighed. “What’s there to talk about? My parents don’t get it. I mean, they’re even questioning if letting me go to UA was the right move… as if I was influenced by Aizawa and Present Mic.”
“Pfft. That’s stupid. They didn’t even start dating until after Aizaa retired.”
“Right?” Uraraka sighed. “I know we have an unusual connection because of the League of Villains and all that, but… really all it did was make me see that I love all of you and not want to waste any of it.”
Katsuki pulled her against him and she nuzzled against his side. They were quiet again, each thinking of how close they’d gotten to losing each other and their other partners; of how the danger was never really over as Pro Heroes of one or more of them not coming back from a call.
Uraraka looked up at her boyfriend, then leaned up and kissed him.
He kissed her back softly, surprised. “Huh, I thought it’d be a few more weeks until your sexy drive kicked back in…”
She smacked his arm playfully and he started to float.
“Oy!”
She giggled and grabbed his arm, pulling him towards her room. “I’ve always been ahead of the curve.”
“What about the food?”
“You can put it away once I’m done with you.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes, but a smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth. No, Uraraka had never been weak. It was one of the things he loved about her.
