Apple and Onion were at Pizzas Diner eating the one-pound quarter burger they usually order and Apple putting straws in the nose as a joke. While many people find it, very immature Onion found it endearing ever since a few months ago. Onion has been feeling these strange feelings around Apple that can be described as constant blushing and butterflies in his tummy and feeling very sweaty, and today was no different. Valentine's day was coming up, and Onion had an idea to tell Apple his feelings over Valentine's day date. Still, first, Onion had to make sure everything was perfect in preparation for the date since Valentine's day was only three days away. Onion wanted the date to be on the roof of their apartment, so the location for Valentine's Day date to confess his feelings to Apple was set. Next on the date was to buy sweets like chocolate and cupcakes, so Onion went to the finest bakery in town to get the sweet pastries. When he was there, he went and found his friend Cotton Candy working there, and when she noticed him getting all those sweets, she smirked and said, anyone special you are trying to impress. Onion blushed and whispered in her ears that it was for Apple and Cotton Candy said I am rooting for you, the gang, and I already felt like you two were a couple material.
Apple POV
Honestly, Apple felt like these past months with Onion were weird because no matter what, he always saw Onion acting weird towards him, and that was
weird because he points blank has had a crush on Onion since a week they had met. Apple never felt the courage to do anything, especially now that Onion keeps avoiding him; he
should pack his stuff and leave first thing in the morning.
Meanwhile, Onion had already ordered a team of cello players to play the cello during the date night and ordered a famous chef to cook them a steak, and it was ready for them to come tomorrow.
Apple Pov
Apple was already packing his bags for tomorrow, and he was in the middle of packing when he saw Onion coming in.
Onion was weirded about how Apple stuff was all over the ground and why he was packing some of it in a suitcase. Onion said, what are you doing and Apple said, I am leaving because I feel that I am not welcome here, especially with you acting weird around me, so I am leaving. Onion started to hold back tears. Apple waits. He sobbed, and I only was acting strange because I got a crush on you, and I didn't know. Apple Immediately ran over to Onion, carried him bridal style, and started kissing him under the neck, and then Onion started smiling, Onion kissed Apple on the head. Apple said, Onion, you could have just told me this whole time that you had gotten a crush on me because the truth be told, I had a crush on you, and when you were avoiding me, I got worried you did not like me. Onion said that now that we revealed our crushes toward each other, would you want to go on a date with me? Apple said yes, and both of them kissed in rejoice. After Valentine's day date, both Apple and Onion layed outside looking at the night sky. Onion said, Apple, and I am happy that you love me back because honestly, I was scared you wouldn't like me back, and not only that, if people see us being in the same sex relationship, we might get a lot of hate and backlash, and I am just so scared. Apple kissed a worried Onion to calm him down. Don't worry, my love; all that matters is that we are together, and no one, and I mean no one, can take that away from us. I love you, Apple Onion said, and I love you Onion Apple responded. Later both were cuddling next to each other happy that they were excited to spend their entirety with each other. Only the future could tell what was going to happen with their relationship, and whatever the future may be, Apple and Onion were excited to face it together.
Ten years into the future
Onion happily cooks up a meal for Apple and their adopted daughter Biscuit. Apple comes behind Onion when he is cooking and kisses him in the back, and Onion giggles and kisses Apple on the head. Good morning, my beautiful husband. Yes, it is true Apple and Onion had been married for about five years and had their honeymoon, got a lovely house, and adopted a kid. Onion layed down the food and called biscuits down to eat. Today they are taking a family picture to show how far they had come as a family, but first, they needed to make sure they had everything ready for it. First up, they needed to get clothes, and while Apple and Biscuit did not want to wear fancy clothes, Onion persisted. Onion blushed when he was Apple in the finest suit that the Clothes store had to offer and kissed him on the cheek and Apple kissed him back and for Biscuit, they had got her a cute green dress. On their way to get their picture taken, Apple talked to Onion and said, " You know I can not believe all this happened because we revealed our love for each other all those years ago. Onion said I know, and it was when you were about to leave as well. Onion counting while crying a little bit. I can't believe we made it this far. Apple was calming Onion down, saying it would be all right and kissing him to make him feel better hours after they had gotten their picture taken, they hung in their family wall. Apple and Onion look at it proud of their relationship and proud of how far they came in their relationship.
