Chapter Text
This is a bit of an odd thing for me to post, a fic I wrote between 2016-2018 and never finished. But it was a really important project to me at the time that I posted in a few places online and other people really really enjoyed. At one point I deleted my original accounts on DA and Quotev to erase this fic and everything else I wrote on there. But, surprise! It remained online still due to a Wattpad repost, at the time I gave permission for it of course since I wasn't a Wattpad user and still am not. It's gotten preeetty popular over there it seems, and a lot of people always wanted it to be finished by anyone even if it wasn't me. I never saw any actual attempt to do this but the idea always made me uncomfortable.
I'm sorry to anyone who may have wanted or even now wants an end to this story, I don't think it could happen. It's been so long, my passion for it's long faded and I have a number of issues with the plot now. I don't think I'd ever be able to decide between using the intended ending to preserve the original works plan or rewriting the ending to be up to my current standards. I guess it's not impossible just, incredibly improbable! Maybe if people are interested I could post a bonus chapter with my original outline for the remainder of the story but that's for another time ^^
Still I wanted to post it on an account of mine. I'm not 100% sure why, since I'm not the most proud of my old work. I think I just wanted to get this piece tied to me rather than existing only as a reupload that directs back to a long deleted DA account. It'll basically be an exact repost of the fic as I originally wrote it, though I won't be able to resist fixing any typos I might find!
Even if it's unfinished I hope anyone who reads it can enjoy it still! Like I said it was really important to me at the time I wrote it.
