Tommy wasn't much of a fighter. Sure, he HAD to fight, but he tended to try to avoid it. Most people saw "human" and "rune worker" and thought he was either lying about his magick skills, or lying about his species. But Tommy was good at runes, despite the fact that Humans just... weren't good at Magick.
It's a useful skill to have, as the war against the Vampire Clans and their leader, the Ashen one, Angel of Death. The vampires are relentless, and the Magical collective is losing ground, they're hunting for something, and Tommy has a lot to protect back home.
He might just have no choice in the matter. Even if he doesn't want to fight, he might have to.
I'm bad at summaries, this is a fantasy (kinda) vampire war fic. TommyInnit centric, featuring platonic soulmates, a whole host of familiar characters, and eventual SBI and BenchTrio (plus Purpled).
