Chapter Text
In the shadows of night, The world waits and watches on. The moon acts as a silent spotlight as a lone man walks slowly across a bridge towards the giant structure ahead of him. Several miles away stood Tartarus, the largest villain security prison filled to the brim with C-ranked villains or higher. This is where the man sets his stage. His biggest heist yet.
A Jailbreak.
The bridge leading up to the prison itself is full of checkpoints of interest for him. Cameras, body temperature detectors, lasers, movement sensors under and around the bridge itself, guards all along the stretch with various detection quirks. Quite frankly, it’s a thief's worst nightmare. But it is also a challenge, and boy is the man excited to use a skill he hasn’t had the opportunity to in what feels like eons.
He’s scoped out the inner workings of the place multiple times within the past month or so and already knows that if he so much as touches any of the devices on the bridge without special equipment or clearance, then the whole place will go on lockdown. But, like all methods of security, there is a way to get around it. One must simply look for the correct door.
All it takes is one misplaced active sensor… And the alarms blare.
The guards go on high alert, lasers start going off on themselves, cameras short out and stutter trying to find the source, no doubt switching to manual control. As the chaos happens all around him, the thief simply continues walking leisurely down the bridge. Completely unaffected.
When he reaches the main entrance door, he turns and goes through the guard post instead. The guards inside speak into mics and quickly coordinate the men on the front lines like they’re preparing for a battle. Not that they shouldn’t but their attention is misplaced. After all, they completely missed the thief as he easily walked through yet another door into the main prison.
As he looks upon row after row of cell blocks before him, the thief reaches into his pocket and pulls out a handful of blue opaque marbles, gingerly tossing them to the ground. Within seconds, the League Of Villains sprouted forth from each one, looking around their newest location and with varying degrees of interest.
“Well done, Compress.” Shigaraki turns and grins maniacally at the thief’s perfect as usual work.
Compress bowed with gravitas. “Now it’s showtime.”
