EPISODE ONE
MEETING THE ISLANDERS
Cue the Love Island theme! And welcome, to Love Island!
Two jeeps make their way towards the villa. Out the sunroof of each is a beautiful woman waving her arms in the air and woo-ing and hoo-ing with only the tiniest dent to their dignity.
The cars stop outside the villa doors and the ladies step out onto the gravel, the summer sun of Spain already making them sweat – or maybe it's from what's to come.

"Hi, I'm Daphne, better known as Daphs! I'm in my Taylor Swift twenty-two prime, and from the North of Scotland!"
Flashes of an Instagram feed scroll behind her as she sits on the bar stool in the studio, showcasing Daphs own cultivated page. Pictures of art works, Daphs sultry selfies, and a couple of shots of hands covered in ink go by.
"So, I'm a bit of a free spirit when it comes to making a living. I for the life of me cannot hold down what you might call a 'real job' and I make my money from basically doing what I feel like in the moment whether that's from my art, my writing, acting, or photography. Call me what you want, but the thought of sitting down at a desk or having to adhere to a strict nine-to-five schedule does make me feel like dying. Is that not the case for everyone, though? It is? Well, you won't catch me sacrificing to fit in.
"If I had to pick an emoji that best describes me it would probably be either that little purple devil thing because I might come across as quite cute at first glance, but I can be a proper troublemaker. I was always the kid being thrown out of class for disrupting."
She laughs before continuing, "And the other emoji would be the double heart; you know the normal one with the little extra, smaller one in the top corner, yeah? Yeah, ah-ha-ha, yeah, so I just feel like I've got a lot of love to give, and I love putting it out into the world."
Shot of Daphs coming up to the camera making a heart shape with her hands.
"So, I've been single for about six months or so now. I've been seeing a couple of guys in that time, but nothing serious. I can't say nothing to write home about, because I tell my family literally everything. My mum probably knows as much about my sex life as my best mates. Like. I'm not even joking!
"It probably helps that I had to move back in with my folks for a little bit. At the end of last year, I was due to be married; we were high-school sweethearts as it were; pretty much we were each other's first for everything, but then ... out of the blue, two weeks before the wedding, he just left. He told him mum to break the news to me, and I literally still haven't laid eyes on him since. No explanation or anything.
"So, my worry is that I might be a little wary of getting to know some of the guys. Like, I don't want to be that girl that is so afraid to open up that she misses her chance at the one. I'm not a cheat, I'm not about that life; I hate being single, and I just want to find the person who's going to be, you know, my person!
"Is that too much to ask?"

"Hi! I'm Hope. That outfit is incredible, by the way."
Hope stands confidently before Daphs, striding up to her with an excited smile. Stunning and tall, she doesn't seem to lack for confidence, Daphs reckons. Where Daphs is light, Hope is dark. The colour in Hope's bikini and head band pop against her dark skin and gorgeous locks. "What's your name, hun?"
"Hi," Daphs says, leaning in and up to kiss Hope on each cheek, "I'm Daphne, but call me Daphs."
Hope and Daphs lean into one another, arms gently resting against the other before they link up, showing to Daphs that Hope is probably more nervous than she might be letting on. It soothes Daphs.
"It's so good to meet you," Hope says nicely as Daphs take the lead heading into the villa.
"Oh my God, you too," Daphs replies back, but they soon get a little distracted to keep up the small talk.
The entrance hall is far bigger than it seems on TV. The roof stretches so tall, the walls are bare white apart from the large neon sign at the back pointing handily to the bedrooms.
As Hope and Daphs make their way through to the room with six beds, Hope starts up again, "I can't believe we're here! How are you feeling?"
"Oh my God, it's crazy, right? Like this is it!" Daphs says, taking her eyes off the Villa finally. "Shall we make our way outside and hopefully find some bubbly?"
"Oh absolutely!" Hope replies with a giddy laugh. Clutching each other's hands, the pair excitedly do a little run out into the garden. With eyes going wide, they squeal in excitement as they take in the garden. "I can't believe this place! I'm so excited!"
"Me, too! I'm actually so buzzing!" Daphs replies, before looking Hope up and down in admirably. "Though, look at you! You're drop-dead gorgeous, babes!" Daphs lets out a nervous laugh as they find the bar outlooking the infinity pool, where a glittering bottle of bubbly waits in a cooler with five glasses. "These boys aren't gonna know what hit them!"
Hope laughs appreciatively, then looks Daphs up-and-down back. "You're one to talk! Come on, let's crack this open!" Hope takes charge in opening the bubbly, pouring them both a generous glass. "I can't wait to get a look at these gorgeous guys. I hope there is one, like, right away I connect with, y'know?"
"Yeah, same! It's weird we're all gonna be getting into bed with one of them tonight. I honestly hope I get on with one right away."
"Can you imagine if the guy we couple up with today is the one we're with for the whole journey? Like getting all the way to the final with whoever we meet today?"
Daphs face melts, her eyes going wide as she lets out, "Aww! That would be lovely."
"I'll be so disappointed if I'm not into the guys today. Obviously, I want something long term, but it's been a while since I've even been on a date. A handsome, strong-and-silent guy with a beefcake bod is what I'm praying for."
As Daphs giggles, her glass edging to her lips, a third voice rings out, "Hey, girls'!"
The sounds of nature are deafened by the squeals that ring out from the three ladies. The new girl, with dyed blonde hair that curls into blue and green at the ends is as tall as Hope, but light skinned like Daphs. She has strong make-up, several piercings, and half her body tattooed. She takes both Hope and Daphs into her arms for a strong hug.
With another up-and-down look at Daphs, the new girl says in a strong Aussie accent, "You guys are going to be some strong competition. I love your style; you look so glam. I'm Lottie, by the way."
"Hi, hun, let me pour you some bubbly." Hope gets to pouring, handing the glass off to Lottie who lets out a deep, nervous breath before accepting. "I'm Hope, and this is Daphs."
"Your make-up is gorge," Lottie says to Hope. "It must take you ages to get ready."
"Oh yeah," Hope says, "Gotta make sure my look is perfect before stepping out."
"A hundred percent," Lottie continues with a firm nod. She hasn't taken a sip from her glass yet. "Especially with my work. I'm a make-up artist, so I can't ever be caught out. I've always got to be giving it my all." She turns to Daphs and asks, "What about you, hun?"
"Oh yeah, I love looking all glammed up, but I do like my chill out days where I don't have to worry about any of it all. Though, I can't imagine I'll be getting any of them in here with you lot looking so beautiful."
With a big grin, Hope continues, "I wish I was as brave as Lottie, but I've got to keep myself looking as classical as I can for my work. I'm a management consultant."
"What about you, Daphs? What do you do?"
"Oh, I'm an artist," Daphs says. "I make most of my money through dancing, acting, and selling odd pieces I make. I dabble in anything really. I like being creative and go through phases of what interests me most at any time. Like, I'll be super focused on making music for half a year, then the latter half I'll get super invested in a play, you know?"
"Whoa, that sounds fun. Does it support you well enough? Like financially?" Hope asks before taking a sip of her bubbly.
"Um, well, I was with someone who had a really good job who made up for when I wasn't making as much. Like, we'd been together forever, since, like, high school. We were living together, engaged and everything, like really settled, but then, around Christmas last year, two weeks before our wedding, he called everything off and left me. I moved back in with my parents, and again, they kind of helped me out when I was really going through it cause I wasn't really in a state to be doing anything."
Both the other girls' eyes go wide. "Holy shit," Hope says, "you were going to be married."
"Yeah, yeah," Daphs manages meekly before Lottie cuts in.
"He dumped you two weeks before you were getting married?" Her face is twisted in disbelief. "He sounds like your well better off, babes. What a douchebag."
"I'll say," Hope says before a fourth girl trots down the stairs behind them.
"Hi, all!" The fourth girls says in a squeaky voice. She has long, ginger hair braided down the side and a blue bikini that matches her eyes. "I'm so glad I'm not the first one here."
"Hello, come over!" Hope says, beckoning her. Already, Hope's pouring the bubbly into the fourth glass.
The new girl gingerly makes her way over, hugging everyone in turn. "I'm Hannah! It's so nice to meet you all. Oh, thank you!" She accepts the glass from Hope. "Have I missed any good chat?"
"Daphs was telling us about her last relationship," Hope says once Hannah is properly in the frow. "I don't know about you guys, but it feels like I've been single forever."
"It's nice to know I'm not the only one."
"I still can't get over that, Daphs," Lottie says. She quickly fills Hannah in on Daphs' past. "What a tool."
"I'll say. I know we've only met today, but, hun, you're a total catch! And look at you now! About to have the summer of your life!" Hope says while putting a protective arm around Daphs.
"Aw, thank you guys." Daphs says, leaning her head into Hope. She turns to Lottie and says, "What about you? You're very bold, Lottie. You're definitely a girl who seems like she knows what she wants."
With a small smile, Lottie says, "I do, I absolutely do know what I want, but it's getting it, you know? I honestly think I'm cursed a little bit. Liars, cheaters, men who think 'getting ready' means two squirts of aftershave..." She finishes with an eyes roll.
"Yes," Hannah nods. "Like, where are all the good men out there?"
"It's horrible getting invested in something that doesn't work out. You can't help but think about all the time that you've wasted."
Hannah nods still. "Books always make it seem like the right guy is going to appear if you wait for him, but I guess mine never got the message."
Daphs tilts her glass into the middle of the girls and says, "Well, here's to hopefully finding our Prince this summer."
The girls chorus an 'aww' and clink glasses with big smiles.
"We're all here cause we're single. We should definitely be helping each other find the right guy," Lottie says. "I feel like we're going to be this really strong team of awesome women all looking out for each other. I don't want to end up fighting with you guys over some guy."
"Hear, hear," Daphs said. "One hundred percent. I'm all for girls' first."
"I think we've got to build some trust between us before the game begins."
Hope holds out a hand like she's slicing through the talk. "Wait, I think there's a new girl –"
"Hello, Ladies!" A fifth girl comes out from under the leafy arch that leads inside to the bedroom. She's slightly taller than Hannah and slightly smaller than Daphs, with Ombre hair and glasses. She oozes confidence as she glides down to the bar. "I'm Marisol," she says, and air kisses the others on both cheeks.
"That's such a pretty name," Hope says once she's introduced.
"Thank you," Marisol beams. "So, we've all already met now."
"Yeah, we were just saying it's important that the girls support each other," Lottie picks up with a swish of her hair over her shoulder. "Daphs was saying she's a total team player." Lottie smiles at Daphs and strokes her arm leading Daphs to lean into her.
"Oh," Marisol says, her confident smile gone. She pours out the last of the bubbly. "Don't get me wrong, I respect that we should be friends, but I go after what I want. I'm not going to compete for the sake of it, but if I see someone I like..." she trails off, avoiding the looks the other four girls' are giving her. "I'm not here to make enemies, but I don't want to miss a chance at love because of someone else's feelings."
Hope if the first to speak. "That's fair enough," she says with a shrug.
"That's pretty hardcore," Hannah begins, "but I kinda like it." She breaks out into a smile, but it falters as she continues, "I'm such a coward when it comes to dating, I never know how to go for what I want."
"You're about to share a bed with a boy in a room full of cameras. If you can do that, you can do anything." Hope says with a tilt of her head. "you've got to be brave if you're going to find love."
"We just need some boys now!" Daphs laughs.
And speaking of, here comes the Flack.
"Hello, Ladies!" A sixth and stunning woman joins everyone as the others squeal in delight. This lady is not like the others. The Flack corrals the five contestants over to the back lawn where the sun is beating down. "So, Ladies, are we all settled in?"
"Yes!" The girl's chorus excitedly. Each girl is standing on her own love heart shaped marker, less than a meter from one another and in a straight line.
"Good luck!" Lottie whispers from Daphs side.
"And don't forget to be brave!" Hope shout-whispers down the line from Daphs' other side.
"Are we ready to meet some gorgeous guys and get this summer started?"
"YES!"
"All right, let's get started! So, we all know how this works, right? I'll introduce a boy one at a time, and ladies, if you fancy him, step forwards. The boys, of course, have last word, and they will pick which girl they want to couple up with. So, I've got five gorgeous guys waiting to meet you all. First up, we have the lovely Bobby! Bobby, come on out here please!"
The sun is on him as he confidently strides out, making his light brown skin glimmer. He's got dark freckles down his shoulders and chest and across his nose and cheeks. He's gorgeous straight up, with light brown eyes, and thick brown hair. His smile is genuine as he beams out at the girls as he makes his way down the steps and across the grass to give the Flack a courtesy kiss on the cheek before standing back and giving the girls' a steady look.
Daphs stands in the middle of the girls', one leg crossed in front of the other, but otherwise confident in her strappy green bikini. She runs a hand through her chestnut wavy curls and smiles, catching his eye and watching his smile widen for that moment.
Without being able to help herself, she bites her bottom lip.
"So, Bobby, how're you feeling?" The Flack asks him.
"Yeah, I'm good, thanks. Even better now."
"Aw, lovely, now Bobby," she turns her serious voice on. "First boy out, so you do get first pick of these lovely ladies. However, I am going to make things easier for you, and ask the girls to step forward if they fancy you. So, ladies, that's your cue, if you fancy Bobby, step forward."
There's a pause where the whole word goes still. For a moment, Daphs feels like even her heart stops. She pushes on, knowing what she has to do. Daphs steps forwards, but she's not the only one.
A millisecond before Daphs steps out, Lottie strides out, too. And on Lottie's other side, Hannah daintily steps up. So, there are three girls' standing in a row, but only one of the is going to be picked.
"Whoa! What a great start!" The Flack says, sounding genuinely pleased.
"I know, I know," Bobby says, grinning from ear-to-ear.
Daphs bites her lip again as she and Bobby make eye contact again. Her heart thumps so vigorously she's having trouble concentrating at all. Lottie turns her head slightly to look at her and both women raise their brows at one another.
"So, are you happy, Bobby?"
"Does the grin I can't wipe off my face give it away?" Bobby asks with a laugh. He flaps his microphone wire, indicating he's probably more nervous than he's letting on. "Honestly, I would've been pleased if just one stepped up, but three is – I did not expect that." He laughs again, turning to give them all another look.
"So that'll have made things a lot easier for you. Now, let's ask the ladies why they stepped forward. Hannah, we'll start with you. Why did you step forward?"
Hannah lets out a shaky breath. She holds her hands together, linking her own arms in front of her chest nervously. "Honestly, it was the other girls' here. Earlier they were encouraging me to be brave and put myself out there, and just before, erm, Bobby stepped out, I think it was Hope – she whispered about being brave, so I thought yeah – yeah, I'm gonna go for it."
"Aw, that is lovely. We love to see it. Lottie, moving on to you, why did you step forward?"
Without hesitation, Lottie says firmly, "He's fit."
A chorus of laughter ripples out from everyone, including Bobby.
"No, honestly, he does seem like a bit of me, and obviously, I'm hoping that he would pick me," Lottie finishes up, looking at the Flack before sending a sultry smile in Bobby's direction.
"Straightforward, I like it. Daphs, last but not least, why did you step forward?"
"So," drawing it out awkwardly with a tinkling laugh, Daphs says, "to start off with he is also Scottish. That's a plus. I don't know why, but yeah."
"No way, you're Scottish, too!" Bobby says, his eyes widening.
"Yeah, yeah," Daphs laughs nervously, blushing as he looks her in the air. Her hearts beats like crazy.
Turning to the Flack, Bobby tells her, "That is a plus, that is a plus."
Daphs continues, "So, yeah, besides that, he is gorgeous, and I don't know, he seems like he's a laugh and has good chat and I just think we'd get on pretty well."
"Well, that's that," the Flack takes up, "the girls have had their say, but now it's up to you, Bobby. You don't have to pick any of the girls' who stepped forward, you can pick anyone, but the time to decide is now. Which of these lovely ladies will you be coupling up with?"
There's a moment of hesitation. Bobby's smile is nervous.
"There was one girl in particular who caught my eye when I walked out, and I was lucky enough that she stepped forward, so I don't feel like a massive plonker picking her, but the girl I wanna couple up with is ..." His smile steadies as he catches Daphs' eye. "... Daphs."
Daphs ducks her head down for a moment as she lets out a nervous laugh. The others all clap happily, even Hannah and Lottie, as Bobby comes down. They each say hello before Bobby leans in and gives Daphs a gentle kiss on the cheek.
Standing in line together, the pair lock eyes, arms already around one another with Bobby's over her shoulder and Daphs around his waist, like they're a lock and key that have finally found their set.
"Aw, what a good start," The Flack continues. "Daphs, how are you feeling?"
"Oh my God, so good. I couldn't have asked for a better start."
The Flack smiles at them. "You look very comfortable with one another already. Are you happy, Bobby?"
"Yeah, majorly, I wanna be cool, but I'm holding on tight cause I know there's four other guys to come."
Daphs laughs along. "Don't worry, I'm not planning on stepping forwards again."
"Maybe not, but like Bobby said, there are four more boys yet to come, and four lonely looking girls. So, let's bring out boy number two: Noah!"
Noah steps out, taller than any of the others so far, his hair adding an extra few inches on. Handsome, dark, quiet, and smouldering, Daphs eyes turn to her right where she sees Hope biting her bottom lip.
"Hello, Noah, and welcome."
"Hi, Flack, thanks for having me," Noah said, his smile playing at the corners of his lips before he sets his smouldering gaze out at the girls. He couldn't be more opposite than Bobby in demeaner if he tried.
"So, Noah, we already have one couple already, the lovely Daphs and Bobby..."
With a respectful nod to Bobby, Noah casts his intense gaze on Daphs. Just as Daphs is about to cast him off as being too serious and intense, he gives her a wink. He looks away with a lick of his bottom lip.
"... and in a moment, you will choose one girl to make up the second couple. To make things easier for you, I'm going to ask these ladies to step forward if they fancy you, and any of them can, even Daphs–" Daphs feels Bobby's arm around her go a little tighter. She turns up to him with a grin and he lets out a small, playful laugh. "– So, ladies, step forwards please if you'd like to couple up with Noah."
"Girls, you can all stay where you are, this boy is mine," Hope says as she strides forwards, hands on her hips. "Noah, you are a bit of me and then some. Look at that gaze, I'm melting under it."
Noah grins as the Flack says, "Bold move, Hope! I love it! That is a girl who knows what she wants."
"Oh, best believe I am all woman, as Noah is going to find out."
"Well, let's not waste any more time. Noah, you can couple up with any of the girls here, even Daphs."
Noah hasn't taken his eyes off Hope since she stepped forward. Grinning, he steps towards her and says, "I think I'm going to stick with Hope."
"Yeah, if you know what's good for you," Bobby says as Noah takes pitch at the marker next to him and Daphs. The other islanders laugh along, including Hope.
Noah says nothing else as he puts an arm around Hope who grins broadly.
"So, congratulations to our second couple, and let's get the third guy out! Everyone, it's Ibrahim!"
A dark-skinned guy walks out with teeth as white as his eyes. He smiles like he's just happy to be there. He has the same easy air as Bobby exuded, but the gentle quietness of Noah. Ibrahim scans the line of girls just like the other two boys.
"Ibrahim, welcome –"
The Flack introduces him and goes through the usual rigmarole. When it comes to the girls' standing forwards for him, only Marisol steps up.
"Marisol! Finally!" The Flack pants, flapping her cards in her own face. "You're the only girl who hasn't stepped forwards for someone. I have to ask, what is it about Ibrahim that's piqued your interest?"
"Well, besides being good-looking, I like the way he's standing – it's like what is he hiding?" She answers as Ibrahim grins sheepishly. "I think that's what I need, that's what I like."
When asked to choose, Ibrahim sticks with Marisol, sauntering over confidently. Daphs hears them speaking; she doesn't catch the words, but hears Marisol's deep laugh.
"So, that marks our third couple. Lottie, Hannah, you both stepped forwards the very first round and that's been it. Has no one else caught your interest or was it the knock back that's knocked you back?"
There's an awkward pause and some stifled, nervous laughter before Lottie answers, "Well, I'm not taking it personally, to be honest, but I have been a bit more cautious. Maybe the next one."
The Flack nods along. "Maybe the next one, indeed. Well, good luck, girls. Here he is: it's Rocco!"
A younger guy steps out. He's tanned with curly brown hair; smouldering gaze, where unlike Noah's, Rocco's looks a little more like he's trying to appear thoughtful and intelligent rather than it being natural.
"Hello, hello, look at all these beautiful ladies before me. I'm spoiled for choice," Rocco says, his accent thick and Irish and as beautiful as his lovely green eyes.
"Rocco, welcome. As you can see, we've got three couples already and two beautiful ladies waiting to be paired off. In just a moment I'm going to ask you to pick one girl to couple up with, and it can be any of the five girls' before you, even if they're in a couple, but to make things a little easier, I'm first going to ask the ladies to step forwards if they fancy you. So, ladies, come on."
After a moment of nothing, Lottie steps forward tentatively. Daphs definitely notices that she was more confident stepping forward for Bobby.
"Aw, Lottie, well done," says the Flack encouragingly. "So, Rocco, you've got the lovely Lottie there, but like I said: you can choose anyone. So, who would you like to couple up with?"
Rocco's smile widens, but he isn't looking anyone in the eye. "You're right, Lottie is very lovely, but someone has already actually caught my eye. She's coupled up already, so I'm hoping that that's the only reason she might not have stepped forwards for me. Anyway, I know it's quite a controversial way to start things off, but I'm here to find someone I think I make the best connection with, so the girl I wanna couple up with ... is Daphs."
There's immediate silence, followed by a low hum of the other's making 'oh' sounds under their breath, Bobby included. Lottie spins around, a hand in front of her face. She only looks slightly embarrassed, and it's outweighed by the shock. The only Islander whose eyes are wider than hers are Daphs.
"Oooh, Bobby, how does that feel?" The Flack asks him.
"Not great," Bobby says with a shake of his head and his face curled into steeled frustration. "Yeah, I was pretty happy with Daphs," he looks down, catching her eye before Daphs rest her head on his chest for a second. "It is what it is, though. Doesn't mean we can't keep getting to know each other."
Bobby places a kiss on the top of Daphs head before making his way over to the subs bench. His place beside Daphs is replaced by Rocco, who doesn't seem phased at all by the drama.
"Daphs, how are you feeling?"
Rocco puts an arm over Daphs shoulders, but unlike when she was coupled up with Bobby, she does not lock into him, instead standing facing forwards, her only physical contact with Rocco being the one he is instigating.
"I mean, yeah, I was happy with my choice, but like Bobby said, it is what it is, and it's not like we're gonna be far from one another. So, we'll see," Daphs finishes with a knowing grin as another murmur goes around the Islanders.
"Rocco said he hoped the only reason you hadn't stepped forward for him was because you were in a couple already, so I have to ask – if you had still been single, would you have stepped forward for Rocco?"
Daphs pauses, biting down a nervous grin as the silence speaks volumes. Carefully, she says, "I think he should have taken his chances with Lottie. She's a lovely, stunning girl who he'd have been lucky to have."
Another uncomfortable chorus courses through. Lottie catches Daphs eyes, and they share an appreciative look.
"Ooh, whoa, what an answer – Rocco, how do you feel after hearing that?"
"In all honestly, it's fine. I don't say no to a challenge, but again, my choice was nothing against Lottie, in fact, I do hope to get to know Lottie – and all the other beautiful girls here – so I'm just going to do what I've got to do." Rocco's expression doesn't give anything away.
"Well, I think that's going to be one to watch. Moving on, we still have two single ladies, and one last boy to introduce. Everyone, welcome Gary!"
Gary steps down. He's the beefiest, most muscular of all the guys. With blond hair and blue eyes and a cheeky grin, he seems like the perfect boy-next-door type. With a six pack.
"Oi, oi!" He shouts as he charges down excitedly. "How we all doing?"
With niceties and introductions out the way, the Flack asks the girls who fancy Gary to step forward. After a pause, Hannah does so. Her arms are still linked nervously together.
"Aw, Hannah, why did you step forwards?"
Hannah smiles. "My last chance to put myself out there, so why not? He seems really nice, and the sort I could take home to my mum at the end of it all."
"Aww, isn't that lovely – Lottie, why didn't you step forwards? Last chance like Hannah said."
"Well," Lottie says nervously before laughing and regaining herself. "I've been knocked back twice now." She glances over at Daphs, "both for the same girl, to be honest," she laughs, but there's an edge to it. "Clearly none of these boys can handle me," she turns to Rocco and sticks her tongue out at him, "but I've been doing the math and if Gary picks Hannah, I'll be coupled up with Bobby."
"A.K.A., the lonely-hearts club," Bobby laughs good-heartedly from the subs bench. "We'll be unstoppable."
"So, Gary, would you like to stick with Hannah, or has another girl caught your eye? You can choose any of the girls to couple up with, but you have to choose now."
"I think I'll stick with Hannah," Gary says and nods to her.
"It's my knight in shining armour!" Hannah coos as Gary's smile wobbles slightly, a frown appearing between his brows.
"Lovely, why don't you go and join her. And Bobby, that means you and Lottie are indeed coupled up, and we now officially have our five couples: Marisol and Ibrahim, Hope and Noah, Daphs and Rocco, Lottie and Bobby, and Hannah and Gary!"
Lottie kisses Bobby on the cheek as he comes to couple up with her. He catches Daphs eye and can't keep the grin off his face. "You and me now, babe," Lottie says to him.
"We'll be writing tragic poetry about how nobody loves us," Bobby answers.
"I hope you don't mind, Daphs." Lottie says as she turns to Daphs who's still standing next to them.
"Don't get too comfortable, everyone! As you all know this is Love Island, so there is going to be some surprises thrown in the mix. You have today to get to know each other and get to know your couples, but best hope that it's a strong match already because tonight you're getting a surprise bombshell who's ready to rock the villa. I'll leave you all to it and see you all soon!"
And with that, the Flack turns and leaves.
