Chapter Text
What I did this summer
by (full name)
Normally I would lie about what I did with summer and attach some photoshop pictures of me hanging out on the set of whatever’s #1 at the box office. That worked in the 9th grade and the teacher at the time believed I actually went to lunch with Leonardo DiCaprio. Going back on topic, what you’re about to read and the pictures attached to it are completely valid. For once I’m glad pictures are needed for this assignment that incoming freshmen and seniors have to do. I know the freshmen essay is going to be a ‘time capsule’ of us when we entered high school and we’ll be receiving both copies back before graduation. I would let you know now that during the time of this bizarre adventure I wasn’t under any kind of controlled (and illegal) substance. This experience was too vivid to be a hallucinogenic.
Now let’s start off what happened from the very beginning…
~
The day started off as any other say in early June. Wake up, go to school, study for finals, eat, study some more, go home. After the go home part, I can do anything I want before actually returning home. It was my friend’s birthday, and they wanted me to get them the first volume of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 1: Phantom Blood. Luckily I was able to get a copy on hold at the bookstore en route to their house due to it’s rise in popularity. All I had to do was pick it up and stuff it in my bag.
After I placed the manga in my bag, I began to wonder what to say to my friend when presenting it. Will, “Happy birthday, you bitch!” work? I guess it will, considering they wrote ‘Happy birthday fuckface’ on my cake. We’ve been friends since we were in diapers, so they won’t mind at all. The friends that swear together stay together, right?
But then it happened.
It happened so quickly, everything just blurred together. I can feel a presence behind me as it dragged me into a shady alley with one hand and smothered chloroform up my nose in the other. If this was a fanfiction, the love interest would save me from the shadows. However, this was reality and no one saved me as I started to succumb into the darkness.
Remember when I said I wasn’t under any controlled substances during this experience? Chloroform didn’t count. Trust me. Anyways, moving on…
