Chapter Text
The sun was rising on Jakku, a late start to the day for Rey. Usually, she would have woken up hours ago to scavenge before Teedo woke up and became a problem. As she mentally prepared herself for the day ahead, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something just…wasn’t right. She had always been able to tell when something was out of balance in the galaxy; she didn’t know why, but she could just feel it in her bones. Nobody in Niima Outpost understood, not really anyways. Most called her a witch of sorts. It’s why she moved a few miles out of Niima to allow for more privacy and a new start.
Rey got off her cot and yawned, listening to Teedo yelling at some BB outside. Most likely he was going to take the poor thing and trade it for more portions. She scoffed at the thought. As if he needs more portions.
Once she had gotten dressed and eaten something, she headed off to scavenge. The day proved to be an unproductive one, with her finding nothing of interest save for small scraps that were of little use to anyone and a small desert flower. The scraps she threw back in the sand, and the desert flower she kept for herself.
As she headed over to Plutt’s shack she noticed some Stormtroopers walking around. How peculiar. The First Order almost never came to barren planets like Jakku. Because of them, the line to the shack was being held up.
Rey rolled her eyes, muttering to herself. “Great, now I have to wait a bloody hour for my portions.”
It seemed that Plutt was arguing with one of the Stormtroopers. Normally, she wouldn’t have cared and would have only watched in amusement, but then that funny feeling she had had earlier in the day, the feeling that something was wrong, began to grow stronger. It wasn't until Plutt pointed in her direction and the Stormtrooper turned to look at her that a voice in Rey’s head screamed, Run. So run she did.
It didn’t take long for the Stormtroopers to give chase. Even though Rey was fast, there was no way that she would ever be able to outrun speeder bikes. When they finally caught up to her, she fought for her life, screaming, kicking, biting, and scratching. She managed to break free, hitting a few of them over the head with her staff and knocking them unconscious. Her victory was short-lived, however, as just as she was turning to run again, she was stunned in the side. The last thing she felt before darkness descended on her was sheer, bloody panic.

After returning from his mission to find his uncle, Kylo stood in front of his master, hanging on every word that was said to him. A report from Jakku: A BB unit had been given to the First Order by someone named Unkar Plutt, a valuable asset indeed. But there was another prize that had been found…that was what his master said, anyway. Kylo stands in front of his master. He’d just been on a mission to find his Uncle, Luke Skywalker. A BB unit was found on Jakku and given to them by a man named Unkar Plutt. Snoke had told Kylo that he had found another valuable prize.
“My boy…it is good to see you once again. I have been waiting for you for over an hour. What was so important you kept me waiting?” Snoke rose from the throne, slowly walking over to Kylo and placing a clawed hand on his face. “Ensure it does not happen again.”
Kylo swallowed, not exactly relishing his master touching him this way. He knew, though, that whatever explanation he gave Snoke, it wouldn’t matter: he was late, and consequences would be given regardless of the reason why. “I’m sorry, Master. I got sidetracked…there was an ancient relic I found, and—”
Lightning came out of Snokes hands and tethered its way to Kylo, shocking him to his core and leaving him out of breath on the floor. “ Enough with the ancient relics. We have everything we need, and there are more important things to worry about.” A pause. “Speaking of things we need…I found you something you have been lacking.”
Kylo pushed himself up, dusting himself off and resuming his previous position. “Whatever it is, Master, I am grateful for it.”
Snoke ignored his expression of gratitude. “While on Jakku I sensed a…woman. A woman strong in the Force. Now, I am under the impression that she does not know of the Force, but a strong heir is needed. She’s a little rough around the edges it seems…a good fighter. Took down two of our men by herself.”
Behind him, Kylo heard the doors to the elevator open. When he turned around to see who had come in, his eyes widened when he saw a girl being brought in on a cot…this must be the girl Snoke spoke of. She must have been stunned. As he crept closer, Kylo was amazed at how someone so small could look so angry even while they were sleeping.
“You brought me a girl.” He marveled at her before taking a deep breath, putting on the mask of stoicism once more. “What is her name.”
“Rey.”
Kylo turned to face his master, puzzled. “Rey…?”
“She has no last name. From what we can tell, she is an orphan. As such, nobody will be looking for her. Her parents were drunks and sold her to Unkar Plutt, the lovely gentleman who gave us the BB unit with the map to Skywalker.”
At that given moment, Kylo didn’t give a damn about Skywalker. What he did care about was the beautiful, radiant woman right in front of him. She was his, his Rey… She belonged to him now. “She is mine?”
“All yours, my boy. You may do with her as you please.” Snoke paused, and Kylo was aware of his master analyzing every move he made. The silence seemed to drag on forever before he finally spoke again. “You are dismissed.”
Kylo turned to the Stormtroopers who had brought his woman in. “Bring her to the interrogation room and have her handcuffed and chained. I have a feeling she’ll try to run if we don’t confine her for now.” His tone was commanding and devoid of emotion as he led them to the elevator, riding it down with them before he got off at his own level.
Kylo hurried to his quarters, not wanting anyone to see the growing bulge in his trousers that the woman— Rey —had given him. As he sat down on his bed, his hand began to drift to where the obnoxiously large bulge was, palming it as visions of what he would do to Rey began to play in his head. Nothing too unsavory, of course…he didn’t want to scare her away. After all, happy wife, happy life, right? If he was to have any hope of producing heirs with her, he would need to take it as slow as he could manage. Heirs…fuck. She was going to be his bride, his perfect desert flower… Their children would be just as strong in the Force as they were…this was meant to be. He could feel it.
———————————————————————-
Where am I? Rey blinked her eyes open, looking around at her new surroundings. When she tried to sit up, however, she found that she couldn’t… She glanced down at her arms, starting in alarm when she saw the metal restraints keeping her strapped to the table. It’s so cold…why is it so cold? Growing increasingly frightened and angry, she called out: “Hello? Someone help me!”
The door opened, Rey’s head snapping towards the sound. Her eyes widened as a tall figure clad in all black figure entered the room. She couldn’t see his face on account of the mask he was wearing. The fear began to grow, but she wouldn’t let it get the best of her. Swallowing it down, she spoke once more: “Where am I?”
“You’re my guest,” the figure murmured, his voice oddly gentle for one so menacing. Perhaps he wears the mask to hide something hideous underneath.
“Let me go now .” As she tugged against her restraints once more, the figure chuckled.
“I’m sorry, little desert flower, but that’s not going to happen. I know these conditions are…less than satisfactory, but I could tell you would try and run if I had let you loose in my quarters. Eventually, you will move in there. For now, however, you will remain here until I know you’re compliant.”
“Compliant? What do you mean ‘compliant?’” She snarled.
The figure slowly walked over to her, stroking her cheek with a gloved hand.“You were given to me as a gift, and I am free to take whatever I want. You’re my pet.” Unbeknownst to her, the man was smiling underneath the mask. “Such a feral little thing you are. In time, you won’t have to be. I’ll take care of you here…it will be nothing like the conditions of Jakku.” Before she could say anything, he had placed a hand on her head and suddenly he was in her mind , looking through her most intimate thoughts. “So lonely. At night, you’re desperate to sleep. You dream of an ocean…you wait for your parents. Oh, Rey…they were never going to come back. Deep down, I think you always knew that.”
Tears began to well in her eyes. “Get out of my head!”
The man persisted, pushing further into her brain to find her fears, her desires, her wants, her needs. “Don’t be afraid, I feel it too. We need each other, Rey. Together, we’ll be unstoppable. Me, ruling the galaxy…you as my little wife.”
Red hot rage spread throughout Rey as she unknowingly gave into the Dark Side of the Roce. “You..you’re afraid that you will never be as strong as Darth Vader! That you’ll end up alone and miserable!”
The figure suddenly let her mind go, pulling away. “It is you…” His words were abrupt, and before Rey could ask what he’d meant, he was already leaving the room.
At least he’s gone, she thought as she let out a shaky breath of relief. He means to marry me…who lays under that mask?
