Need a Ride?

Summary:

Sometimes Peter just needs a hand.

Notes:

All works in the "Amazing Venom" series are on the same timeline but are not in any particular order.
They will be jumping all over the place.

Work Text:

Peter sheepishly came out of his hiding spot and walked up as Eddie pulled up on his bike.

"Hey there Spider-Man, you look a little lost,” Eddie smirked as he lifted up the visor on his helmet.

Peter pulled off his mask, "Very funny....Thank you for coming through, I'm surprised how fast you got here,” he admitted since he was in the middle of nowhere, well out of the city limits.

"Traffic is very light this late at night," Eddie reasoned, "So how exactly do you run out of web? You didn't bring spare canisters or anything?" he asked as he shut off the engine.

"I did...but I lost them somewhere," Peter admitted already feeling embarrassed over the whole situation, then paused, realizing a possible problem, "You brought your motorcycle?"

Eddie shrugged as he already racked his brain over this situation the entire drive over, but it couldn't be helped.

"I only own a bike Mr. Spider-Man, beggars can't be choosers. Besides, what did you expect? I can't exactly rent a car when you call me in the middle of the night just because you're stranded."

"There's plenty of room," Venom suddenly announced, making his presence known.

Peter still hesitated, he really didn't have a problem being that close to Eddie but he was worried about what Eddie could feel…literally.

"Scared of motorcycles? You literally swing from buildings."

"It's not that, I feel I should warn you that sometimes... the vibrations, you know awaken... body parts."

Eddie couldn't help but subconsciously look down between Peter's legs. "Oh."

"Don't look," Peter demanded as he covered himself with his mask as turning his body away from Eddie.

"I mean…you're the one that puts it out there, but thank you for the warning. Either way its this or you walk," he offered as he held out a simple black helmet. "I promise I'll be a gentleman," Eddie joked.

Peter relented and took the offered helmet. "Thank you," he added as he put it on.

Eddie reached over and help adjust the strap for him, "There we are. Climb on."

Peter slowly eases his way onto the back of the bike, but opted to hold onto the back instead of Eddie.

"You might want to hold onto me," Eddie warned, putting his visor back down and firing up the engine. "I know you heal fast, but it's still going to hurt when you fall off."

"I gotta good grip," Peter assured him.

"Have it your way," Eddie warned one last time before taking off. The bike immediately jerked and Peter quickly abandoned his plan and wrapped his arms around the other man's waist.

"Told you." He yelled.

The entire ride home Eddie was careful to maintain a safe speed and did his best not to laugh when he did feel something poking him in his back.
