Yuna had taken the photo on one of those rare days they had spent at the cottage with Shane’s parents. They'd spent the day hiking in the surrounding woods and were sufficiently tired by the time they got home. On the night David had decided to fire up the bonfire while they all chatted outside. Shane was resting his head on Ilya’s shoulder, both of them curled up under one blanket staring off into the distance smiling at something David had said.

Only pairing that's already set is Ranma/Tali. The others haven't been introduced yet.
Timeline is about two and and a half years before the attack on Eden Prime... I think. I'll change this if I mention a specific timeframe there, LOL.
