Chapter Text
Damian Desmond. The son of that Desmond family. You know, THAT Desmond family. Without them, Ostania wouldn't be as peaceful as it is.
They don't rule the place, but they certainly have control over it.
The proud Desmonds have to strive to be the best, and the second boy; the sy-on boy, is no exception.
He's certainly bested his peers academically, physically, socially, and mentally. (?)
But even perfect boys like him need a rest every once in a while.
If he studied during the one-week vacation, Mr. Henderson made sure to clarify that he would get punished accordingly.
And so, he takes this time to finally relax, and catch up on that manga he's been reading.
Apparently, Anya watches the anime.-
"Don't. Think. About her. For even just an hour.
He shook his head.
The boy was given a gift of rest, and it would be impolite to decline it. So, he accepted it with open arms.
Until that gift is quickly snatched away by the people he trusted most.
-
"Hey, boss-man!" Emile banged on the door. "Let us in, please!" Damian sighed as he walked to the door to unlock it, seeing two of his best friends more excited than usual.
Not only is my moment of peace gone... they're planning something dumb, are they?
"Uh" He looked at them with skeptical eyes. "Whaddya need?"
"May we come in first?" He reluctantly agreed, and let them in his room. Emile plopped down on a bean bag Emile's been carrying, and the latter sits on a chair.
Damian sits on his bed. "Straight to the point."
"So," Ewen looked at Emile. "We asked our parents if we could go on a cruise, and they agreed!" Emile added. The scion boy gave them a blank stare. "Of course, we asked Mr. Henderson!" Ewen frantically chuckled.
After moments of silence, their best friend looked down on his lap. "What's it have to do with me?"
The two 'lackeys' look at each other, then back to their disappointed Desmond. "You're coming with, boss-man!"
Damian looked back up, face visibly beaming with joy. "Um," he stutters. "What?"
-
"I NEVER AGREED TO PAY FOR THIS!" Damian screeched. "YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP MAKING ME-"
Emile laughed. "You don't have to pay, boss." Ewen sighed. "We had Becky help us with the funds."
Oh, of course Becky had something to do with this! he scoffed. But...
Damian Desmond looks at the window in horror and some other unrecognizable emotion.
But... whatever she does... she always brings...
-
Sure, his arch-nemeses are in charge of the whole thing, but he was invited! It was tradition to give them something back.
And since Becky has it all, he'll just give the gift to Anya! Easy-peasy.
Just to be polite, of course!
