Chapter Text
Castiel was roaming absently as he waited for Sam and Dean to wake up. A weird werring sound caught his attention. He followed the sound to an alley with the only noticeably thing in it was a blue police box. The box was not what it seemed tho; Castiel could see the living gold and green light coming from deep inside. Before Castiel could go and expect the box, the door of the box opened and two people came out. Castiel noted that one of the people who came out of the box was not human and glowed with similar gold light as the box. Castiel decided that he would follow these people.
Castiel followed the people for about an hour. They didn’t do anything out of the norm, just got some food and walked around talking. If Castiel couldn’t see the gold light then he wouldn’t have thought anything more of them.
Castiel followed them back to the alley, but as he rounded the corner they were waiting. “Who the hell are you? And why are following us?” The human snapped at Castiel stopping him in his tracks.
“What my friend means to say is, we have notest that you’ve been following us for quite some time now and we are wondering why?” The glowing one said looking Castiel up and down.
Castiel thinks quickly for a lie to answer the question but comes up with nothing, (Dean would know what to say) so he decides to go for the truth “Why are you glowing?” looking at the glowing man in the eyes.
“What!” the red hired human replied.
Castiel calmly repeated the question for the human but that doesn’t seem to help. “I heard you the first time, buster. But no one is glowing here, so why don’t you tell us why you were following us?” The human seems annoyed
“You’re not human, are you?” the glowing one said looking at Castiel costly.
Castiel nods “I am an Angel of the Lord.”
The two of them share a look, with the non-human being more excited than their companion. “where are our manners. I’m the Doctor and this is Donna Noble.” The glowing man who’s called the Doctor said indicating the human as being Donna Noble.
“Castiel”
“Well, nice to meet you Castiel. And I’ve got to say I’ve never met an Angel of the Lord before.” The Doctor said putting out a hand for Castiel to shake. Castiel Stares at the hand for a moment before remembering what Dean had told him about the Shaking of hands.
“Umm, Doctor can I talk to you for a moment,” Donna said leading the Doctor away from the angle. “Do you actually think that that guy is an Angel? Because I don’t,” whispered Donna to the Doctor.
“Of course not, but he is definitely not human.” The Doctor whispered back.
“So another space-man,” Donna said following the Doctor back to Castiel.
“So Castiel where are you from? And what brought you to Earth?” the Doctor said trying to work out what Castiel is.
“I rebled against Haven so that's why I’m here. Why are you?” Castiel answer
“You really go with this whole Angel thing aren't you,” Donna said under her breath but Castiel heard her, locking her with one of the glares Castiel has picked up from the Winchesters. Just then beeping could be heard from a device that the Doctor promptly pulled out of his pocket.
“We got a lock. Quick back to the TARDIS.” They both head for the blue box. The Doctor stopped and spanned on the spot “Hay Castiel, you coming or what?” seeing the angle hesitation the Doctor added “you’ll be back before you know it. Now coming on.”
Castiel followed the two into the blue box. To the angle, there was living gold, green and white light ever wear. There was no doubt in Castiel’s mind that this box was alive.
The Doctor was looking expectedly at Castiel. “Anything you want to say?”
Castiel's attention was caught by the Doctor “Like what?”
“Something, like WOW it’s bigger on the inside.”
Castiel looks around “It is a good use of Timple space folding.” Castiel walked off, his attention was then caught by a large group of light.
The Doctor was slack jaw as Castiel walked off. A beep at the console brought him back to reality. “Yep back to the problem at hand.”
“So, Doc where are we off to?” Donna asked eyeing Castiel as he was seemly staring at nothing.
“Not far, just need the right time pried.” the Doctor said looking that the screen on the console.
“8 hours from now,” Castiel said turning to look at the Doctor.
“How did you get that? I mean that's right but how did you know?” The Doctor asks surprised at Castiel's knowledge.
“This is a time machine, correct?” Castiel asks looking at the Doctor.
“Blamey. You sure you not also a Time Lord a well?” Donna said. Castiel made a mental note that the Doctor was something called a Time Lord.
“I will take that as a yes. To answer your question no, I’m an Angle, But I do have expires with time travel.”
At the mention of time travel, the Doctor pecked up. “So, you’ve travelled in time before? How? and with who? Was it with another Time Lord?” Castiel could see that the Doctor was like a little kid excited at the prospect of another Time Lord, But there was also great loss in his soul, a loss like that of Dean and Sam.
“No, I have not met any Time Lord, except for today, of course. And yes, I have Time travel a couple of times but it is a tiring experience since I’m cut off from Haven.” Castiel said sorry to see the flash of hope disappear from the Doctor’s eyes.
A loud honk came from the counsel of the TARDIS getting everyone's attention. “Doctor, what that?” Donna asks looking worried.
“That’s the alarm to indicate that the Weeping Angel is no longer dormant.” the Doctor explains running around pulling levers and switching switchers.
The Light started moving more sporadic and faster. The sound from earlier plays thought out the room. Castiel felt the rush of time travel thought out his wings, although it was less than if he was travelling by his own wings. Everyone lecher fowers as they came to a stop.
“Here we are. Now team stick together and If you see an Angel don’t blink” Doctor said pocking his head out of the door. When he brought his head back in he was met with Castiel’s bitch face, a move that he learnt from the Winchesters.
They all followed the Doctor out of the TARDIS. “Hey Space-Man, what woke up the Angels?” Donna asks the Doctor.
“Angels don’t need sleep. And there is none of my brothers or sisters here.” Castiel replayed annoyed that they kept calling this thing an Angel.
“Well, Donna something or someone must have woke them up” The Doctor answered Donna unsure of how to reply to Castiel.
