Vi hates her time in Stillwater until she gets a new enforcer assigned to her.

Notes:

I know this is VERY short but I just wanted to see if I would like writing this and I kinda did so I'll totally try and write more at some point. I hope you enjoy.

Chapter Text

“516,” An officer walked up to her in the courtyard. “Stop whining.”

Everyone around her was so much taller and stronger. Vi had just woken up in a cell. She couldn’t tell what anything looked liked because it was so dark. She only figured out she was in a cell when she fell off the bed and felt the bars.

She stayed laying against the bars, crying for hours. Occasionally she’d hear some man yell at 516 to shut up. She wasn’t sure who that was but the officer wouldn’t stop yelling at them.

“That’s it.” She heard footsteps then the officer slammed his gun against the metal bars. “I said shut up.”

She jumped and put her hand over her mouth. Where was Powder? How did she get here? She sat up on her knees and turned to face the bars.

“Wait!” She called out to the officer and surprisingly he walked back to her cell. “How did I get here? What is this place?”

“Aww, you seem scared, little girl.” He knelt down but he was still tall enough to look down at her. “Do you want me to come in and comfort you?”

He shined a flashlight, which she didn’t know he had, in her eyes. She turned away from him. She couldn’t tell what time it was. He pointed the flashlight at the ground and she could see his uniform.

He was an enforcer but he didn’t have a gas mask on like all the other enforcers she’d seen in the undercity. It felt scarier to see the enforcer’s full face. In the undercity she was tough, she was strong. But in Stillwater, in her cell, she was a child.

“Answer me!” He hit the flashlight against the bars, shining the light right in her eyes several times.

She felt like all she could do was hold back more tears.

Powder. Where the hell is Powder?

“I’m sorry.”

He didn’t say anything, he just hit the bars again, turned off the flashlight and walked away.

That first night was the easiest out of all her nights in Stillwater. She didn’t realize how lucky she was that the guard hadn’t entered her cell. She hated that cell from the moment she arrived till the moment she was transferred to solitary.

She didn’t like the solitary any better but at least the guard assigned to her level was hot. Not like anything could happen but Vi’d rather have to look at her then some guy with cigarette breath and a weird look in his eyes.

“516,”

Voice isn’t as bad as the other guys either.

“Be quiet.”

“Right.”
