Maleficent's School for Young Alphas, Omegas, and Betas

Summary:

The mysterious headmistress of a prestigious school for young impressionable alphas, omegas, and betas, watches over these growing children from afar, waiting for a chance to get her revenge.

At this school, Elsa, an alpha, is the undisputed queen, with her pack of omegas following her around. Anna wishes she was the omega that got to monopolize Elsa's time, but she barely gets any time with her sister even though they live together!

Everybody at the school has their worries and problems, from studious omega Belle, to the stoic alpha Pocahontas, to little busybody beta, Maribel Madrigal.

In this place full of pheromones and alpha personalities ready to explode, alphas learn to alpha, omegas learn to omega, and betas hope to just survive.

Mostly F/F relationships, omegaverse. Exploration of writing smut so be warned in advance.

NOTE:
NOT IN A STRAIGHT TIMELINE. Sometimes we'll see things in the past, sometimes in the present whenever that is. Maybe we get a peek at the future. It depends how I feel writing.

Chapter Text

Anna watched her sister, Elsa, on the stage with what she hoped was the right amount of interest. Enough to show that she was listening attentively. But not so much that she was, in Rapunzel’s words, ‘worshipful, like a dog’.

“Hey, you’re drooling.” Rapunzel leaned over and whispered. Anna immediately wiped at her mouth with the back of a hand, and shot Rapunzel a dirty look when the blonde laughed.

“Can’t believe you fell for that.” Rapunzel said gleefully. Anna shoved Rapunzel, her face pink with embarrassment as her friend cackled.

    “Ahem.”

Anna froze, suddenly realizing that she was the centre of attention, everyone’s eyes in the auditorium on her and Rapunzel, including Elsa’s. Anna ducked her head down, Rapunzel copying her but still snickering.

“... as I was saying. Let’s make this school year a good one. Thank you again.” Elsa closed off her first address of the school year as the student president, that ice cold gaze moving away from Anna. There was a lot of applause and a couple of catcalls that managed to bring some colour to Elsa’s cheeks and a little pull from one corner of her lips in a rare show of good spirits. That only set some people in the audience screaming for more and Anna seethed a little bit.

Elsa was hers! Well, her sister and technically hers and Anna was secretly very adamant of that fact, which Rapunzel had been telling her doesn’t make sense. Like yes, semantically, ANNA’S sister, possessive, a real familial, blood connection between Anna and Elsa so that made Elsa, Anna’s, in the possessive term. Until otherwise stated, as in contractually if Elsa finds a mate, Elsa remains, possessively, Anna’s. But Anna insisted that even if Elsa does find a mate, Anna’s bond with Elsa superseded anyone else’s. It made sense. But Rapunzel had said that was crazy possessive and super creepy.

“Come on, let’s go! Don’t we have PE this period? We gotta change!” Rapunzel pulled Anna along, who was dragging her heels, looking backwards towards the small crowd that had gathered around Elsa. It frustrated Anna to see how popular Elsa was, and it was mind-blowing, too. Strength was a huge factor in how popular an alpha was, and Elsa definitely wasn’t the strongest. That title went to either Hercules or Luisa.

What about smartest? Anna thought Elsa was the smartest but even she had to admit that Tiana, Mulan, or Belle frequently topped the charts scholastically.

Most beautiful? Again, Anna certainly thought so. But then Elsa had a lot of competition in that category. There was Cinderella, so called because even in her hand-me-down unfashionable clothes that didn’t fit her well and covered in soot that one time, she was still beautiful. And then, of course, Aurora, the rose of the school. Snow White, who constantly had seven guys vying for her attention and tied the previously mentioned Cinderella and Aurora in the senior football team’s poll on ‘best arm candy’. Which, honestly, Anna thought didn’t count for much but it did a lot for some people and since it’s a popularity contest Anna accepted that the majority ruled, if majority was white, alpha, and male. And really, besides those girls, it seemed like their school was just bursting at the seams with babes, like Jasmine, Isabela, and honestly those in the smartest category unfairly also had tons of beauty.

It was unfair, because Anna, although an omega, didn’t feel like she was anything special. She was ‘cute’. Quirky. Prone to bouts of mischief. But she wasn’t one of the ones that would garner more attention. Anna was content with the fact that she was background noise to most. She just wanted to be noticed by ONE person. Unfortunately, everybody else wanted to be noticed by this ONE person.

Maybe it was the mystique of Elsa being such an unusual alpha. Slender and small, especially if she was placed beside the likes of Luisa or Hercules, but Elsa stood out in stark relief against them because of her slight figure. It was a different energy and it attracted everybody to her side. Elsa was the undisputed ruler of the school. Alphas big and small scurried away from her when she walked down the halls with her retinue of beautiful omegas and betas. Those not in Elsa’s circle watched her with covetous eyes.

The small crowd around Elsa was among the most popular. The aforementioned beauties, Snow, Cinderella, and Aurora hovered possessively around Elsa, recognizing her as their defacto leader. Elsa was speaking seriously to Mulan, the student secretary. Another Madrigal, the glamorous Isabela, spoke in hushed giggly whispers to Jasmine, as they most likely planned another party, while being close to Elsa who would just HAVE to show up or else the party wouldn’t be a party.

“Elsa doesn’t even like parties.” Anna muttered, finally turning her eyes away from Elsa and hurrying out of the auditorium, not aware that icy-blue eyes tracked her figure until she was out of sight.

Anna hurried to the changeroom, where as expected of her PE class, everyone was screeching in good-natured excitement. Merida was dancing in place, trying to pull on a shirt and her shoes and socks at the same time, Megara was lounging back on one of the benches, chatting away with Moana and didn’t looked like she had changed at all. Still in a skirt too short for school and a slouchy sweater that at least let you know she was wearing a bra. Pocahontas was laughing along to something Ariel was signing, enthusiastically signing back in delight.

“What happened? What’s funny?” Anna was wiggling out of her pants, but still wanted to be in on the conversation.

“We were just saying Naveen and Eric were outside singing ‘baby got back’ about Ursula.” Pocahontas laughed. Ursula was their Chemistry teacher, and she definitely ‘got back’. And she definitely didn’t appreciate Naveen and Eric singing that song within earshot.

‘Guess who was right behind them?’ Ariel signed, grinning.

    Anna snort-laughed. “Oh my god.”

Rapunzel laughed, signing Ursula’s name, which looked like octopus tentacles. Ariel had mischievously given Ursula that sign-name. Everyone burst out laughing, but screeched when the door to the changeroom banged open.

“LADIES! We are waiting for you!” Mr. Smith, their PE teacher bellowed into the room.

“Tis the ladies’ change room!” Merida shouted, furious. “You cannae come in ‘ere!”

“I don’t understand a word you’re saying, Merida!” Mr. Smith banged against the door again. Good thing the entrance was around the corner from where the girls usually liked to change so you can’t see anything unless you fully walked in through the short hallway. “All of you, you have two minutes to get changed and get out here NOW!”

“He’s such a creep.” Megara’s lips curled up in disgust.

“I know, right?” Pocahontas shuddered. Ariel grabbed her friend’s hand in distress.

“It’s okay,” Pocahontas signed. “I’m fine.”

Pocahontas was a tall, strong alpha, she really didn’t need anybody to worry for her. But Ariel, this complete omega sweetheart, cared a lot about her tall friend.

‘Just because you’re fine doesn’t make this fine.’ Ariel’s signing was too fast for a lot of the others to see. ‘You need to tell Maleficent.’

Maleficent was their school headmistress. She ran a tight ship, even though some of the students--and let’s be honest, the staff also--thought she was evil.

‘She’s not going to believe me without proof. And I have none. It’s just…’ Pocahontas threw up her hands, unable to sign what she was feeling and let out a sigh. ‘Come on. Let’s go before he really does try to come in.’

“Moana, you ready?” Pocahontas called out. Ariel looked over, eagerly signing something to Moana about Pocahontas, which Moana laughed at.

“Coming!” Moana slammed her locker shut, eagerly following after Pocahontas and Ariel. Moana was a beta, and Ariel, Pocahontas, and Moana were always together. There were rumours flying about those three, usually between Ariel and Pocahontas since they were omega and alpha respectively. But Anna, who walked behind them, knew not to count out Moana. The beta was resourceful and charismatic, you couldn’t really guess that she was a beta if you didn’t know.

“Stop being a nosey parker and help me pin up my hair!” Rapunzel nudged Anna.

“See, how am I going to get into the gossip game if you’re here discouraging me?” Anna complained, but still helped Rapunzel get her hair in control. Rapunzel had grown her hair since she was young and Anna was sure it would drag on the ground if it weren’t for the elaborate braids that Rapunzel had it tamed in.

“You’re never going to get ahead of the gossip. One of the amazing Madrigals already has the gossip game cornered.” Rapunzel patted her friend on the shoulder sympathetically. Nobody would be able to beat Dolores Madrigal at gossip-gathering. That omega heard EVERYTHING. Rapunzel had once commented on Dolores’ hair being so big because it’s full of secrets, but Anna had blithely shot back that if that was the case, why wasn’t Rapunzel full of secrets?

“Hey!” Speaking of the Madrigals, Maribel Madrigal waved at Anna and Rapunzel. She had gotten changed fast and was already doing stretches beside Merida. Maribel was the lone beta in her family. Her sisters Isabela and Luisa were both omega and alpha respectively. All her cousins were omegas, Anna heard, so Maribel was the black sheep. The only other person who had been a beta was Maribel’s uncle. But nobody talked about him at all.

    “Maribel, bright and early.”

“You know what they say,” Maribel smiled brightly, always bushy-tailed and ready for the day. “The early bird gets the worm!”

“What are we doing again?” Anna asked, eyes drawn over to the boys’ side. Gaston was in their class, and Adam. Which never lead to anything good since they both didn’t get along with each other but it was better than Gaston and Adam with other alphas. With the two of them in the same class, their aggression and energy was focused on each other and not on hapless omegas and betas.

Al was also there with his friend, Abu. And… they were talking to Flynn Ryder… and that’s never good. Those three betas always got into the worst kind of mischief. There were a smattering of other betas around, but with most PE classes, the round up of students sometimes changed depending on what was happening with an alpha or an omega. Heat or rut meant that people came and went and sometimes alphas that butted heads too much had to be separated or constantly rotated in classes. It was a logistic nightmare that honestly Anna didn’t envy. She heard that at one point in Elsa’s grade, Raya and Namaari had tried to kill each other, and Namaari was sent home for the day. And this was between an alpha and an omega who didn’t get along, not even two alphas.

PE went as usual, basketball was what they were doing. Everything was normal. The alphas were split in between the betas and omegas. Megara avoided the ball like the plague and tried to pass it away from herself as much as possible whenever it came to her. Anna, Maribel, and Merida were having a literal ball on the same team, racing after the ball. Rapunzel had crashed into Flynn at one point and he had pretended to be unconscious on the floor so he could stop playing, which Mr. Smith didn’t allow for. Adam and Gaston almost got into a fight, again.

And then Elsa came in. Mulan was right beside her, both talking intently. They probably had PE right after Anna! They had come early… maybe on student council business beforehand… Anna wished that she could’ve had class AFTER Elsa so she could see Elsa in action. Maybe be able to scent her! People always thought she was able to sniff after Elsa since they shared the same home, but Elsa was very private and with how their schedules were, it was rare for Anna to even get a whiff--

    “Anna, watch out!”

The next thing Anna knew, she was on the floor, looking up at the ceiling. She felt a bit woozy. Elsa’s face suddenly filled her vision and she gave a loopy grin.

    “Hi.” Elsa greeted, worriedly.

“H-Hi? Hi me?” Anna blinked rapidly. “Oh. Hi!”

Elsa’s brow furrowed in worry. Rapunzel’s face joined Elsa’s.

“Adam threw that!” Rapunzel held up a hand. “How many hands do I have?”

    “... seven?” Anna answered, befuddled.

“I’m taking her to the nurse’s office.” Elsa announced. Anna was picked up and her head was pressed up against that spot where Elsa’s neck met her shoulder, where Elsa’s scent was the strongest. Anna tried not to snuffle too much, but she could feel Elsa tremble against her as the redhead nosed softly at her sister’s skin and sighed at the familiar scent.

“Want company?” Megara was suddenly there, eyes on Elsa. Anna had to stifle the growl that threatened to come out of her throat. She liked Megara and all… but she liked Megara only when Elsa wasn’t part of the equation because Anna can see Megara’s interest in her alpha from a mile away!

“You still have class, Meg.” Elsa smiled. Meg? MEG?! When did they get close enough for Elsa to call Megara, MEG?! Megara ‘my friends call me Meg if I had any friends’, MEGARA?! Who insisted that people call her Megara when they tried to call her Meg?! They weren’t even in the same grade, how did they know each other?!

“I’ll catch you later.” Elsa tempered her rejection with the promise of a ‘later’. Catch you later?! Did they know each other socially? Anna’s brain was running a mile a minute!

Before long though, all the hubbub died down as Elsa carried her out of the gymnasium and into the quiet hallways. Class was still in session it seemed, so no-one was out in the hallways yet.

“Elsa?” Anna looked up at Elsa. Elsa glanced down, but her eyes danced away from Anna’s face a moment later.

“Hey. We’re just going to Max, he’ll have you back up in a jiffy. How are you?”

“I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean to be in the ball’s way--I must look like a mess--”

“You look beautiful.” Elsa sounded absolutely serious. The flattery made Anna’s face heat up.

“Thank you. Um. You look beautifuller!” Anna froze, then the words continued tumbling out in a horrible embarrassing mess. “I mean not fuller, but-but more beautiful.”

Elsa’s fond look blossomed into a smile and she chuckled. Warmth blossomed in Anna’s chest.

    “Thank you.”

Anna took this opportunity to shut up and duck her head back into Elsa’s neck. Also taking the opportunity to gorge herself on Elsa’s scent by snuffling greedily at Elsa’s neck.

“Anna,” Elsa laughed lightly. “That tickles.”

“Didn’t we use to do this?” Anna breathed deeper, greedily. She used to… Anna remembered. They used to be like this when they were children. Playing together, Elsa building her tiny snowmen about her size… snuggling together in a fort of pillows and a nest of blankets… and then… Anna remembered a sharp pain at the back of her neck, a phantom of something that felt like it was from a dream. Something that made her head suddenly hurt, but it faded away as whatever she was on the cusp of remembering disappeared.

Elsa didn’t answer her, but her steps lengthened and she fell silent. Anna was fine with that as she continued snuffling at Elsa’s shoulder and neck, absolutely content in taking advantage of this situation.

“Mr. Bay? Max?” Elsa’s voice was ragged, like she had run a marathon when she knocked open the nurse’s office door. Unfortunately, Mr. Max Bay was nowhere to be found. Max was usually needed everywhere. It didn’t help that Max Bay was bad at multitasking and time management, and had tons of students that could possibly be hurt in a mixed phenotype school.

“Elsa…” Anna didn’t know when, but she had started mouthing needily at Elsa’s skin, hungry for this taste under her tongue. She was still gentle, not sucking, not necessarily lapping at Elsa’s neck… slobbering? Anna just clung on, doing what came naturally, making tiny whining sounds like she was still a pup, nibbling gently at Elsa’s skin with her teeth. Anna didn’t look up, didn’t dare try to glimpse whatever look would be on Elsa’s face. Disgust, maybe?

The sound of a low, feral growl made Anna stop her ministrations though. And then she was thrown, face down onto one of the beds. Before Anna could even scramble up to offer her apologies, Elsa had an iron grip on the back of her neck, pushing her face down.

    “Elsa, what--”

Another low warning growl, this time right beside her left ear, making Anna shiver in fear and anticipation. The creak of the bed, the feel of Elsa’s weight depressing the mattress sent Anna’s heart racing. This was the closest they’ve been since they were children.

Anna sucked in a sharp gasp as Elsa nosed at the spot behind her ear, one of the places where scents were the strongest and also the most sensitive to touch.

“Anna…” Elsa’s voice came out in a hiss, breathing Anna’s scent in deeply, gulping deep mouthfuls of air and panting. Anna quivered under Elsa, as Elsa slowly straddled Anna’s body, pressing Anna deeper into the mattress.

“Be careful.” Elsa’s growl was low, her grip on Anna’s neck, unbreakable. “Anna. You have to remember.”

Elsa gave Anna’s ear a sharp nip, drawing a sharp cry from the younger girl. At the sound, Elsa pushed down harder on Anna’s neck, snarling, the other hand gripping at Anna’s waist and wrenching upwards so Anna was mashed perfectly to Elsa, butt to groin. Anna could feel the heat radiating from Elsa, whose skin always looked ice-cold and she arched up into the feeling, dazed and wondering if that sharp intake of breath was Elsa’s or her own. The air felt thick, the air conditioner didn’t seem to be working. It was… HOT. Their breathing was loud in the silence and Anna couldn’t stand it, this heavy quiet filled with something between them unsaid.

“Remember what?” Anna asked, her voice hoarse with… was it fear? Or something else? And just as suddenly as it had happened, Elsa was gone. Fled out the door, leaving Anna, dishevelled and alone, her heart hammering in her chest.

Anna’s breathing came in ragged pants. She understood now why Elsa was the top alpha of the school, her presence so commanding that Anna had been frozen by fear. That was what that was. The strength in Elsa’s hand, that way she pressed down on the back of her neck had honestly made Anna go limp in submission. Omegas, despite the locker-room talk of alphas, could definitely fight back when an alpha was too pushy. But Anna had given in to her primal brain, to an omega’s instinctual reaction to an alpha whose authority they recognized and obeyed.

Still a bit woozy from maybe the hit with the basketball, Anna moved to get up off the bed and froze at the feeling that produced. To Anna’s horror, when the redhead rubbed her legs together, she could feel the slickness between them, viscous and hot, making her underwear feel uncomfortably wet and slimy. Did she pee herself? Anna must have. She must have. Elsa must have scared her more than she thought and a little pee came out. That was alright. Just a bit of pee. Anna rubbed her legs together again, then hesitantly, slipped a hand into her gym shorts and then past the waistband of her underwear.

Anna shivered as her hand touched sensitive flesh and she dipped a finger in, dread suffusing her body. She could see the evidence of her arousal, sticky strands of translucent slick between her fingers betraying her and dashing any lies she wanted to tell herself about how Elsa made her feel.
