Come over again (steddie)

Summary:

After Dustin ends up in a coma trying to save Eddie, the group turns a cold shoulder toward the metalhead. Eddie, figuring they just need time, distances himself and waits for someone to reach out. No one ever did.
Until Steve showed up drunk on his doorstep. Eddie was relieved at first, until he realized what he was there for. As much as he hated it, being used, he loved it all the same.

Chapter 1: Little intro

Hi! So, this is just a little introduction type deal? I am breaking a 6 year long streak of not writing fanfiction for this fic. I am /desperate/ for more eddie Munson angst, and I mean the heavy shit. So I thought I’d try and shoot my shot with writing one myself.

Each chapter will most likely have a song connected to it. (Because I love playing my music and drifting off into fantasy land making up scenarios based on the song) though you don’t have to listen to the song, I highly recommend doing so.

Just so you’re aware, this fic will contain heavy subjects, warnings will be put in the notes at the beginning of the chapter and I might put warnings before it happens as well. But I cannot promise that will happen because my brain sucks ass and I’ll probably forget while copying and pasting the chapters.

YOU WILL DESPISE STEVE IN THE BEGINNING!! He will get better (eventually) but be prepared to not have any cute cuddly shit for a while. Again, I like heavy angst. Hurt/no comfort for a long time and THEN some comfort will come. Cause obviously eddie deserves it.

This is my first post ever on Ao3, when I wrote fanfiction before I was an avid wattpad user, so I’m still trying to figure out this format. Hell, I never even read on here until about a month ago when this freak fell into my life and took it over. So, bare with me. Don’t mind any spelling errors, they shouldn’t be too bad, I try to edit my own work, but I miss things.

I think that’s it? If not, I’ll put it in the notes before the chapters. If you like this, please please let me know. I’m not used to people reading my work, so it’d be very much appreciated.
