"I’m not going to regret this, not even one bit."
He never thought that he would see the love of his life again.
Will he regret his decision? Can Karma still claim her? Or will she love him again like in the other timeline?
Waking up with a pain in the head, rubbing his head as he notices the familiar surroundings around him, slowly blinking his eyes as he looks around.
"This-" Looking at the familiar room he is in right now. "Don't tell me it worked?" He quickly flipped his blanket and rushed to the bathroom.
Looking at his reflection, he was immature, the stage where he was still in his delinquent phase until he met his monstrous teacher, experiencing events that he never thought he would have the thought of having friends...
A family.
Karma softly touches his child-like face, "I-I did it." He laughs with a joyful-sorrowful tone. Pinning his head on the mirror realizing he was giving a chance to save someone, someone whom he truly loves.
Out of the blue, he suddenly remembers that he is now in his teenage stage again. He took a warm, nice bath. It's been a while since he had one after all the incidents have happened.
Putting on his so-called uniform though, he never wears it completely, just wearing the style he likes. He brushes his hair and checks the mirror one last time before heading out of his room.
He took his bag and rushed down the stairs, he looked around as he went down, then a feeling of nostalgia went to his heart. This place where he lives but not his home. Saying goodbye to his nanny and going to the train station.

He remembered that this day would be his first appearance to his family-friends and will once again meet her. Karma was nervous, sad, happy and mixed emotions were built inside his body for he shall face his precious classmates and his loving lady.
The reason why he has mixed feelings on seeing his friends was due to his vengeance. Which made him go insane after what he did, after the incident.
Making his way to his old classroom, the high hills of Kunugigaoka Junior High. He remembers that this was the time when they finished their P.E with Karasuma sensei.
Karma made it, he made it and he saw his classmates together with his two teachers. He smiled, putting his other hand in his pocket and his other hand with his strawberry milk juice.
He made his way to them, then they noticed him but Nagisa was the first one who noticed him. He walked in a cool aura that was surrounding him, which made his classmates shiver or for some made their curiosity grow more, of course it was because of the rumors. After being suspended due to him rescuing a bullied class E student but some believe he was just being aggressive.
Doing his usual introduction to them, Karma took a glance to his classmates there, he saw her once again with a face with curiosity and interest as he walked towards the tall yellow octopus monster.
Karma made his move, the tentacle exploded as they hand shook each other and he swiftly swung the knife as Koro sensei jumped too far away from him. A grin was on his face as he remembered the old event that had happened.
After the drama Karma went to the woods where he usually hangs out and a girl went to him.
Telling him to eat lunch with them and he can't seem to disagree with her, which makes him chuckle at a certain someone who he can't disagree with her offer and opinions.
His memories flood and his short nap was disturbed by him expecting this girl to greet him and inviting him to have lunch with his other fellow classmates.
It was in fact that's how they met each other in the first place. It was literally deja vu as the story keeps repeating: what do you expect he went to the past, or should I say he turned back time to save her, no...
To claim her.
Karma notices the footsteps slowly making its way to him then it stops when it finally reaches its destination which is standing in front of a tall tree where he was resting.
Both of his arms were on his head as the wind softly greeted them both.
"Um... How should I say this?" It was a whisper, a whisper that was loud enough to make him hear about the words she said, it was too quiet to not hear her whispering her words and who expects a simp who always hears everything to the person they simp.
Taking all her courage to speak to her new classmate, "Akabane-san, would you like to have lunch with us? Nagisa will be with us."
She was offering him a simple offer to have lunch with them. Karma opened his other eye as his other eye was close, closing both of his eyes as he was grinning.
He sat up and jumped off the tree, landing in front of the blonde-haired girl. He stood up and looked at her.
It was really her, it was exactly her but a little younger. Her soft skin meets the cold wind flows as her untied hair flies its way and her blue ocean eyes sparkle looking in his orange-reddish eyes.
He wanted to hug her wtih full of misses, regret, sadness and happiness. Karma misses her touches so much that it makes him break their eye contact with a cough.
The girl shook her head as she didn't know they were doing a stare contest.
"Sure, why not. It would be great to be friends with my classmates right?" He told her with a smile on his face, a smile that is not arrogant but only a smile to show how he loves the girl without her knowing. "Also call me Karma, it's better that way." He reaches his hand to the front, showing respect towards her and waiting for a form of handshake.
She blinked her eyes and smirked, "First name basis aye, okay then Nakamura Rio but call me Rio." She shook his hands and smiled at him, fully knowing that this guy would not be so bad, well probably.
They shook off and Karma took the move first, putting both his hands in his pockets as he started walking to the direction where their classmates gathered, "Shall we go?"
"We shall." And with that both of them made their way.

It's been months since he turned the clock around, walking with her as they made their way to the festival. Karma developed even more feelings towards Rio, he already set his plan about them meeting their enemy and it was a success.
It made him feel relieved, now that after the episodes have happened today it's their rest day. Both of them were walking around looking at different stalls, thinking which would they choose that caught their eye, after a few games the two agreed it would be great to have a snack.
Karma ordered their snack as Rio waited for him at the side. Soon Karma went to Rio with two takoyaki and drinks in his hands. She took hers and thanked him, they found an empty bench and decided to sit there and eat their snacks.
Rio finished her food and looked at her partner in crime who was also already finished with his food. She thought of having a walk around finding an interesting thing to do that would catch their eyes, Karma nodded and the two started walking.
As both walk and talk about things, Karma out of the blue asked Rio about her liking towards boys which made her flush, of course. She never really liked talking about her crush but always mended to other people's love stories.
At first she thought that Karma was only joking with her but when she turned to him she realized he was a bit serious, too serious but it didn't show seriousness she only felt it.
"I never actually thought of myself having a crush on someone, because I always talk about other people's love lives but here we are talking about things. Well this is new to me," She stopped her talking and looked at him with a smile. "But since you're close to me, why not share it with you."
Karma's heart was beating so fast, why?
Was he ready for confession?
The answer was definitely no, the question he asked just came out of his mouth and now he was sweating a little bit and a gulp could be heard if you were beside him.
Rio looked to the front, "I actually like someone." She finally said it and it made him more anxious.
She smiled while walking through the crowds with Karma carefully and ears out listening to her. "I never really thought to like this person, I- I mean he is indeed nice but I didn't know it would flatter my heart and make me butterflies."
A blush was on her cheek as she rumbled her words and a slight blush was on Karma knowing it was definitely it would be him. She looked up at the sky, then to him, then back to the skies, "I actually like Nagisa."
Those four words crumble his whole universe.
Did he hear her right, right?
He slightly stops on his tracks and continues to walk and listen to her.
"Liking Nagisa was never in my mind in the first place but as time passed by, I realized I developed such feelings for him and I know that he-" She took a deep breath. "Won't like me for sure, I mean who would like a silly girl like me right? But that doesn't mean I would give up. So, I was thinking." She stopped her tracks and so did Karma.
"Karma, I want to ask a favor... Can you please help me out with him?" It felt like that this day would be the end of the world. He slowly looked at her face, Karma widened his eyes as he looked at her.
"Please." She was begging him to help her out with her crush, his best friend, Nagisa. He didn't have much of a choice, he sighed and only looked at her with a smirk on his face.
Then Rio knew that smirk, she gave him a thank you smile and began to walk leaving with a clown face Karma smirking at her and then his smirk was gone when she was walking forward not knowing that he was still standing at the tracks.
"Is this really happening?" Karma thought as more words flooded in his mind.
How can his lady like someone, much worse that was his best friend?
Nagisa, out of all the people she likes, why would she like him? He only has a great talent to assassinate.
But he can't hate his best friend. He just can't and it was not his fault nor her, it was fate, fate and time was playing with them. Looking at the walking Rio as Karma's memories suddenly flash through his mind.

Holding his lover in her lifeless body, tears were coming out of his eyes as loud sobs were heard. Karma was hugging Rio as tears were flowing down his cheeks to her almost turning numb face.
Slowly and carefully a hand was reaching to touch his crying face then it finally reached his face, Karma shook his head and looked at her, he was shocked that she could still move a little bit.
"Rio!" He called her name with pleading eyes, "Please don't go away, please stay with me a little longer, we can still cure you and be-" His voice stops as his tears were wiped by the cold hand of his lover.
"Karma," She whispered his name, a smile formed on her face as she blinked slowly and rubbed his face. He touched her hand and looked her in the eyes as his tears were still coming out.
"I want you to live happily without me, I- *coughs* I know I don't have much time in my life but." Rio said slowly as she kept coughing blood from her mouth, it even made Karma anxious. B
ut Karma gently touches her hands on his face. "Please, don't you ever forget you're not alone and that I have loved you always, since middle school so please."
She rubs her fingers to his soft face, wiping the tears falling like a waterfall "Live your life to the fullest and I-" Her eyes slowly started to close and the grasp of her hand was also slowly to fall.
"Love... you bakabane."
And with that, her remaining energy was drained as her hand on his face touched the cold ground, her head lost its weight and her beautiful daring blue ocean eyes were now fully closed for eternity.
Karma shook his head as he looked at the lifeless woman in his arms. "Rio-" He slowly shakes her head as it only lets it weigh to the side.
"No... no, no, no, no Rio, wake up, no. No Rio please wake up please, I beg you please wake up." His pleading voice was on the verge of screaming pain as he held her closely to his body.
He held her close so that she would hear his heartbeat if she was only alive but no, she wasn't. Crying all out his heart as he painfully screams to the darkest and gloomy night as the rain starts to shower around them.
The blood in her stomach scatters around all over the ground as the night meets the cold, dark rain and blood.
After that night, Karma wasn't himself, he was going insane after her death. Who would even go back to normal when he literally witnessed her last words and breath, Karma witnessed her dying and she was dead in his arms. The Class 3-E would always check his conditions but it only got worse as the day passed.
Comforting him with lots of reassuring words but it won't ever work unless he can see her again. He refuses their pity on him but it wasn't pity they have for him, it was the feeling of love. That he was loved by classmates and his family and he wasn't the only one suffering, after he calmed down a bit he was going back slowly to himself.
Of course, they were happy that their dear friend was slowly recovering.
Even Asano was happy that he was slowly covering; besides he was friends with the both of them due to them being the smartest of the room it may seem that they can understand each other a bit. And due to that, a form of friendship that no one ever expected was created.
Asano was shocked when he heard the news of his friend that died and his other friend who was literally traumatized after what happened so. As the good friend he is, he went to comfort him by bringing him to the place where they hang out, the food they always eat and everything they did.
Asano did everything to make Karma feel happy again and Karma was thankful he had friends like that. Everyone also slowly started to go back to normal then one night happened.
Akabane Karma was nowhere to be found at his apartment, which caused a ruckus among his friends. Then a couple of days it was revealed on the news that a man was found dead in an abandoned building.
And since they all knew who did it, after the news they all contacted each other to look for information for where he was but no clue was found, the only clue was the place of the crime scene.
They have already cooperated with Ritsu but Ritsu herself still can't find their missing friend.

Busy streets and loud cars were heard around at the top of the building. There stood a man with the color black formal suit and his red-hair shine through the lights of the place.
Standing up on the edge of the rooftop as Karma looked down the busy streets, his mission was accomplished. The mission was to kill the person who killed his beloved lady and with that, he thought of ending his life and joining her to the other side.
He smirks at the shining moon that is not full anymore due to what has caused years ago that involve his class. Spreading his arms freely and feeling the cold wind rush to his body as he closes his eyes.
As he was about to unlive himself he heard a mimicking voice at the top beside him. "Do you really think dying is the answer?" It told him that.
He didn't continue his actions and opened his eyes, slowly turning his head in the direction of the sound and was surprised to see a devil. ‘What the fuck, is that really a devil?’ He asked himself and looked at him with judgy confused face.
"And I thought I was only the devil but it turns out there was a real one." Oh no, his ego is showing even in his time of death-suicide. His alter ego will never go away.
"Nah man, I'm not the real deal here." The devil replied to him sarcastically. "And by that," His words interest Karma. "I wanna make a deal with you." He said with a grin.
Karma was confused of course but his eyes never lied, he was interested in this devil's doing, ‘A deal ha? Might as well hear it.’ Talking to himself as he backed down from the edge.
He straightened his posture as he looked at the devil flying from the top of side with interest and caution. "So this deal of yours, what benefits do I get?"
The devil smirks and he flaps his wings before landing elegantly at the edge, he looks at the young red-haired man and he smirks. "Simple, you get to have the girl that died in your arms."
Akabane was bewildered by his statement, he's gonna get Rio back to life? ‘Don't tell me he's gonna bring the dead back- wait I mean he's a devil and all and maybe he got powers to let Rio be alive again.’
He looked down at his hands, "This is an opportunity and I can't miss it."
Thinking roughly inside his thoughts, Karma was about to reply but he was cut off. "If you're thinking that I would undead your girl then sorry young man you but got the wrong idea."
Telling this statement made Karma confused even more than earlier. Asking the devil, "Then how?" He wants answers.
The devil grinned, "By turning back time, of course."
Karma freezes at his spot, he was more surprised by what he said. "Turning... back... time?" He looked at the devil who was looking down at him. "Are you serious? You're destroying the nature of law, you're playing with the time dimension." He protested.
"I mean yeah but at least you'll get your girl back ha!" Spreading his hands with long nails as Karma stiffened his face.
Karma doesn't know what to do, is it really good to turn back time? To get his Rio back? To destroy the nature of law or even trust this devil who just interupts his suicide?
Is he gonna regret this decision? What if something bad happens? Would it be alright to be selfish just for once? Thinking thoroughly Karma had enough, all he wanted was her.
Only her, his happiness, his partner, his Lieutenant… His everything.
He fist his hand hard as he looked the devil in the eye with no fear. "Okay then what would happen to me?" Asking this question as he needs to be cautious, he knows that this is dangerous but he'll do it for her. "
Of course, there are consequences." The devil replied looking at the moon then he leaned forward to whisper. "And that is your lifespan." A smirk was formed on his face as he scoffed.
"My life span? What do you mean by that?" Karma asked with a tone of shockness and curiosity.
"Your lifespan will decrease and the life that will decrease will be mine' cause I'm your contractor. So I'll live a long life." The devil raises his hand for Karma to shake if he agrees. Karma still has lots in his mind but no he can't wait. He needs to see her again.
“Come on boy, won’t you shake the poor devil’s hand?” The devil said with a devilish grin as he was waiting for Karma to accept his deal and Karma extended his arms to shake with the devil.
"Deal!"
The devil grinned even more as he laughed with delight from the words of the young man. He spread his wings as he flapped with it and he flew above him and touched his forehead.
"Now enjoy going to the past, young man."
And with that Karma felt dizzy and became unconscious that led him to the past when he woke up in his old room.

Is he gonna regret his decision in making a deal with the devil? He thought to himself.
‘Pathetic’
He really is pathetic.
Turning back time just to be by his lover's side but now that would only be in his dreams cause not everything will lead as he thinks. The girl who he always loves, loves someone else, and it was his best friend. What a nightmare to be in this situation.
Karma tightens his grip. He let it go as he ran towards her and he suddenly took her hand that surprised her as she was confused by his actions.
They ran through the crowd as Rio was about to stop but Karma turned his face to her. "Let's make a deal, if you dance with me in that area with people dancing then I'll help you get together with Nagisa."
Rio looked at him with surprise in her eyes, she smirked and replied. "Deal!"
Then the two went to the couples dancing but they only danced as partners in crime, as friends not a couple but a one-sided love. Karma puts his hands on her hips as he grabs her towards him as Rio puts her hand on his shoulder, holding their other hands together as they gently sway with the music.
She was happy that her best friend was helping her get together with her crush. He was the same but not with the same reason, hee was happy that she was happy.
It hurts so hard for him but he only wants her and only her. He was thinking of her happiness and her smile. If she's happy then he's happy but not the same cause.
Lover by Taylor swift was played as they danced together with a smile on their faces. Funny how the song is called Lover but the two aren't even lovers. Karma twirls her as she laughs at his silliness and as he stares at her beautiful loving face. Holding her close to him not wanting to let her go but he's the one whom she likes.
They dance so beautifully that they were mistaken as a couple.
Bystander was mistaken them as a loving couple especially on how the boy looked at the girl as he twirls her around onto his arms.
His eyes show warmth, melancholy and euphoria.
He wishes to be with her forever, he wishes that he won't let her go and she won't go, he wishes to be his lover but at the end of the day his wishes will never be fulfilled.

Did he regret his decision on making a deal with the devil to turn back time to see her again and to be with her but only to find that she likes his best friend?
No, he didn't.
Not even a bit of regret, not even a teenie tiny little ant.
He didn't regret it and he never will.
Karma knows that his decision will only make a good future for both of his friends.
But for him,
He's dead either way.
The two smile as they bow their heads together and continue their journey but not together.
Cause one will perish.
Only time will tell when he'll disappear from the wicked world.
And only when time will tell when Rio realizes her feelings for him.
Since the devil himself only knows entirely.

A dark feathery wings were flapping above the sky as the devil looked down towards the two.
The devil forms a heinous smile.
"Such a cute happy ending."
He remarks sarcastically as the moon behind him glows bright and he flies above the sky.
