Chapter Text
"Красивый...."

Life was quiet in The Tower. Everyone had a place and job. Life was starting over after The Burst. People from all over the planet had come to seek refuge here, the world's most brilliant minds mingling with the hard laborers. Everyone had an equal new start in the mega structure they now called home. After many years of isolation, society began to split, those who deemed themselves more valuable fled to the highest parts of The Tower, positioning themselves in the seats of gods. Multiple advancements in science and bioengineering were fed to the people below, promising a better way of life. Some agreed to these new technologies, but more grew weary of the "promises" The Architect had lied about. Riots began, throwing the lower districts into chaos. People of lower class revolted, claiming these new technologies only caused problems, people began losing jobs, the value of credits plummeted, extra taxes had been taken to advance more studies in bioengineering. Food had started to become scarce as farmers quit due to miners refusing to dig for better soils. Lower levels of The Tower had been forced to improvise, creating items out of nothing. Fabricated weapons to defend themselves, mutated food grown in improper ground. Many became sick. Others watched as their districts died, watched in horror as their leaders did nothing but horde resources for themselves. All for the greater good of humanity. Slowly, new people had been introduced into the lower districts of The Tower. One here and there, armed with weapons no one had seen before. Over time, more and more armed people lined the alleys, some now sporting riot shields. "To keep the peace" the people were told by The Architect. "For your protection" they were lied to. They kept their promise for a few years, bringing a little hope to the lower levels. Life began to pick up as the riots ceased. All in the name of the greater good.

"You're sure?" A small Ghostrunner looked to his companion, green biolights streaming down his body as he clicked his jaw in faux movement. GR-74 looked down, yellow biolights dimming on his faceplate with a nod. The two watched as armed humans walked through the alley of the second district, talking about nothing in particular. The little Ghostrunner clicked his fingertips against the railing, trembling in anticipation. GR-74 placed a calm hand over his companion's, stopping the annoying ticking. "Stop it GR-04." Green biolights flickered in annoyance, giving an analog - >=/ - across his faceplate. GR-74 ignored the mark, optics watching closely as the armed people stopped at a hidden door. "Now?" The little one chattered his jaw, looking back and forth between the humans and GR-74. He kept his head still, raising a hand to signal, watching for their opportunity. One of the armed humans looked up to their direction, signalling their turn. GR-74 snapped his wrist, pulling his pointer and middle finger down, causing the human to turn on his own. GR-04 was gone as soon as the sound of the mind control registered, diving helm first over the railing. They had seconds to perform, GR-04 pulling his short blade before his feet left the platform. Blood splattered the walls as the blade made contact, splitting the two humans in half before they even realized what happened. A fraction of a second was all it took to take out two more of the armed humans with hundreds more to go. GR-74 watched from the platform, sending data logs to the labs remotely. All Ghostrunners had been outfitted with a new program, one that targeted the armed humans. It was remotely installed in their systems, replacing their previous policing program. GR-04 looked up to his companion, multiple - <3 - danced around his faceplate, hoping to elicit praise from his larger partner. GR-74 made a quick leap down, joining the other with a gentle hand to his helm. "Ты идеальный." Green biolights shone brightly in the surrounding darkness, chirping and clicking his jaw to show happiness. The little one knelt down next to a severed body, picking up various pieces of viscera to inspect and analyze. "They're like me, солнце." GR-04 removed his tight jacket, showing off the soft pale flesh. "Not you, мой сладкий. You are better." GR-74 took his companion's jacket, throwing it over his shoulder as the smaller Ghostrunner continued to inspect his work. Blood dripped down his arms, seeping into the cracks of the carbon plating. "крошечная лиса." GR-74 looked to the other, vocalizer stern as he held out the jacket.

"Again..." GR-74 sat on the floor, across from his companion. "One... Один"
"Один..."
"Two... Два"
"Два..."
"Three... Три"
"Три..."
"Four... Четыре"
"Четыре..."
"Five... Пять"
"Пять..."
"Six... Шесть"
"Шесть..."
"Seven... Семь"
"Семь..."
"Eight... Восемь"
"Восемь..."
"Nine... Девять"
"Девять..." GR-04 pushed out a vent of heat, a - =( - displayed over his faceplate. "Am I done, Солнце?" He dragged the tips of his fingers across the floor, scratching at the wood in boredom. GR-74 looked to his little partner, optics scanning along his body. "What do you suggest?" The little Ghostrunner kept his helm low, a - ... - displayed over his glass. "I learned something a while ago... During the last heat..." Outcome branches adjusted in GR-04's HUD, debating with itself whether it was a plausible idea to bring up. Teaching and learning responses outweighed fight responses in the end. He picked himself up off the floor, the soles of his feet quietly echoing through the abandoned structure they shared. GR-04 returned with a connection cable, one they salvaged from a previous kill. The pair retrieved many items and trinkets off the bodies, chains, rings, old coins, cards, anything that stroked the curiosity of GR-04's A.I.. GR-74 never figured out the why part of the hoarding, but knowing it brought some happiness to his companion was good enough for him to put up with. "It's a video log I took." He held up one end of the cable to his partner, plugging the other end into the right side of his helm. GR-74 complied, plugging his end in. "Something you did?" He waited for their connection to complete, seeing a split screen of GR-04's HUD in his own. "No, Солнце, it was something a human did to me." His metal jaw clicked in rhythm with his speech, sharp metallic tongue licking at the dull teeth. GR-04 pulled old video logs, stalling himself before he decided to play back the occurrence.
GR-74 watched, analyzing the video displayed in his HUD. His heat mate, trapped in one of the lab rooms alone. A door to his left opened, a male human being forced in by an unseen hand. Video feed showed GR-04 looking up and down the human, his green biolights replaced with red, illuminating the sterile white walls around him. The male banged on the door, shouting to be let out. GR-04 made no movement towards the frantic human, instead, turned away, leaning over a table and gripped the edge in readiness. A speaker overhead spoke to the male, instructing him to hurry if he wanted to leave sooner. GR-04 looked over his shoulder towards the human, adjusting as he made an attempt to look more inciting. The speaker continued with more instructions, do whatever he wanted to the smaller Ghostrunner, that he was more submissive than the rest, and that he should be grateful for being given such an easy task. The human stared at GR-04, cursing to himself before finally throwing his hands up in agreement. The male cautiously stepped towards him, reaching out to touch the heated carbon plating. He spoke to the speaker again, trying to get reassurance that he would walk out of the room alive. GR-04 adjusted again, laying his helm against the table as he stared at the blank wall, waiting to be used like he wanted. The speaker overhead reiterated that the sooner he brought GR-04 through, the sooner he would leave the room. Sounds could be heard echoing through the room, GR-04 chittering his jaw, licking over the dull teeth, pointed fingertips dragging across the table, ex-vents of heat being pushed in anticipation. More cursing could be heard from the human as GR-04 was suddenly flipped around, the video now looking up to the ceiling. GR-04 brought his helm up, looking to the male who was now on his knees in front of him. The false cock throbbed between his legs, dripping milky fluid to the floor. GR-04 watched as the human bit his lower lip, hesitating before slowly sinking the false cock in his mouth. Tiny sensors along the ribs ignited, causing feedback to obscure the video briefly. The human ran his hands over GR-04's chest and hips as he closed his eyes, kneading his thumbs over his hip bones. The human bobbed his head in short rhythm, bring his right hand to stroke the false cock in opposite motion. GR-04 placed a hand on the humans head, gripping the dark brown hair as he continued, sucking just the tip of the false cock. The grip tightened in the human's hair, GR-04 now bucking his hips to try and push the human faster. The video feed looked up to the ceiling briefly before snapping back down to look at the male as he pulled away, the false cock expanding as strings of milky fluid splattered against the humans chest. The video cut after a moment, returning to a blank black HUD.
GR-74 hummed to himself, yellow biolights dimming as he absorbed the video. "I can't help you with this." He finally spoke, turning to look at his heat mate. "No, I want to do it to you, Солнце." The little Ghostrunner refused to look at his partner, his subconscious feeling judgement from the other. GR-74 hummed to himself again, outcome branches adjusting, weighing the pros and cons of the offer. The little one finally looked to the other, a - <3 - displayed on his glass. "Can I, мое солнышко?"
