Chapter 1: A Friend And A Foe
Chapter Text
There was a special place in hell for people who are mean to service workers. Case in point: Sharon here, was drunk and demanding to see his manager. Tommy does not want to deal with this shit today. He had a very stressful day, it was his turn to do the chores! Tubbo and Ranboo were out all day on their little platonic dates and left all the laundry for him to do!
“Excuse me! Are you listening?!” Great.
“Yes, yes. Rude. Manager. Got it.”
Tommy ran to the back to get Kristin. It was 20 minutes before they started closing up the bar and an hour since they closed the kitchens. This Karen in particular was complaining about her cheese sticks, which she ordered 5 minutes ago. Tommy could understand, cheese sticks are the objectively better food, but 25 minutes before closing? Unacceptable.
“Kristiiiiiiin!!!” He whined as he came through the bar’s, well, bar.
“What’s the problem,
Toms?” She asked as she wiped the bar down.
“Kaaaaareeeeennnnnnn…” He slumped.
“Haha. sure, I’ll deal with her dear.” She laughed. “Come on, handle the bar for me.”
“Thaaank yooou Kristiiinnn…”
As he wiped down the bar a very sketchy man walked through the door. Tommy doesn’t judge, and gives him a menu. The man looks him up and down, but doesn’t say anything. He looks at the menu and looks around. Tommy starts to zone out and starts cleaning one of the glasses at the sink. What should he have for dinner? There was pizza in the fridge from yesterday’s hero battle binge.
“Aren’t you a little too young to be working at a bar?”
“Well it depends, old man.” The man sputtered.
Tommy smirked, “Well I am definitely an adult.”
“Really?”
“My 18th was just the other day. Now I’m allowed to work the bar.”
“And I totally believe that.” The man scoffed.
Unfortunately for him it was true. He now had to work double the shifts at the bar because he could no longer fall back on the foster care system.
“Well awfully rude stranger what is your name so I can properly curse you later.”
“Very funny.”
“Well fuck you too.”
. . .
“Wilbur.”
“The pig?!” Tommy exclaimed.
“Fuck you.”
“I hope your ice cream tastes like sand.”
“Jokes on you, I love sand.”
“Ew, gross.”
“And what is your name, small child?”
“Can ya fucking read it’s in the name tag.”
“What name ta-”
Tommy felt the man’s eyes skim lower at the crossed out name tag that read: Wife Haver. You could very well see the name crossed out: Thomas Innit. The silence was brutal before the man started laughing.
“Wife haver!?”
“I am the haver of many wives I’ll let you know.”
“Well wife haver, I must be going, because I’m pretty sure I saw your manager rip another customer a new one for staying past closing.” He had a last sip of his drink and paid for his drink along with a 20 dollar bill.
“You do not want the wrath of big K upon you.” Tommy took the 20 and pocketed it.
“I am sure.” He said as he left the bar.
Tommy finished up his cleaning and said goodbye to Kristin. The bar was located on the border of eastside with south port, so it wasn’t in the absolute shithole that was east side. Still Tommy couldn’t avoid said shithole since he lived there.
Eastside was a dangerous place. That is why Tommy usually hid his tips in his shoes. And if he was lucky he wouldn’t get mugged on the sidewalks. But that wasn’t the case today.
“You know the drill kid. Wallet.”
Tommy sighed, this was his favorite hoodie. A bright red hoodie with white sleeves. Well, they do have hydrogen peroxide and bleach, so he supposes he could clean it. He pointed two fingers at the mugger.
“Hey, kid, do you think this is a -“
Splat!
The body of the mugger fell to the ground. A hole the size of a bullet through his forehead. Tommy looked down and saw a drop of blood fell in his hoodie. Damn it.
Chapter 2: School desk graffiti but IRL
Chapter Text
A figure at the edge of a roof watches the scene below him. They watch the boy drag the body to the end of the alley with plastic gloves and leave the scene. Deep down they are a little proud of the boy but they brush away that feeling. Instead they focus on a much more important feeling. The feeling that this is an opportunity. But he mustn’t reveal himself. After all, his family, his Syndicate , was waiting for him. He had to hide for a bit, after all, he was almost caught.
“ Siren. ” A voice spoke from behind him.
“Heyyyy Thanatos…” He nervously chuckled.
“You were under strict orders from Zephyrus to be back after your little detour.” He had his arms crossed.
“Well… You see…”
“If it wasn’t for me following you. The heroes could’ve captured you.” He angrily argued.
“Look I’m sorry bla bla, now can you listen”
…
“This kid, I don’t know what his powers are. But he just killed a man without a flinch.”
“That is…”
“With his fingers.”
“What!” He stumbled back.
“He somehow can kill a man by using a finger gun.”
“That could be…”
“Yes.”
Very interesting indeed.

“Tubboooo, Ranboooo!”
Tommy got home to an empty apartment. That wasn’t uncommon, Tubbo and Ranboo had the habit of being out at very odd times doing graffiti or whatever they did at midnight on a Tuesday with spray paint . Oh well, less people to question the blood stains.
He left the hoodie sleeve soaking in water while he grabbed the hydrogen peroxide. He scrubbed at it for a couple minutes and almost completely got rid of the blood stain. That’s where the bleach came in. With both of the products any stain was gone in 15 minutes of a good scrub in the bathroom sink. He rinsed and hung the hoodie to dry and turned on the tv.
There was a fight happening at northside and city center border. The vigilantes Tint and Bubble were caught graffitiing their tags on a hero building and were now fighting the Hero Swirl. Well, fighting is kind of an exaggeration, it was more Swirl obsessing over Tint’s graffiti weapons and dodging, while Bubble tried to capture him in one of the paint bubbles. So your average Tuesday.
Tommy zoned out and fell asleep to the sound of the news very confusingly trying to explain what was happening. But that sleep didn’t last long when Tubbo and Ranboo burst into the living room laughing.
“Shh!Shh! Tommy’s asleep!” Tubbo said laughing.
“Well you’re the one yelling!” Ranboo was also laughing.
“Ayo I’m sleepin here…” Tommy slurred sleepily.
Tubbo had pink paint all over his clothes and face. Ranboo however looked like a neon pride parade.
“Hahahah-Ran-hahahah!” Tommy immediately started laughing.
“DONT LAUGH!!!”
“Sor-hah sorry Ranboo. But you look like a neon unicorn vomited on you.”
Ranboo sighed.
“Look I know it’s my day with the hot water, but go take a shower.” Tommy chucked “Put your clothes soaking in the sink I’ll take care of them”
Ranboo slumped out of the room. Tommy turned to Tubbo.
“What were you doing that that happened.”
Tubbo froze.
“Uhh… well… wWe were trying out a rainbow paint can and it exploded on us?”
Tommy squinted, that didn’t sound right but he couldn’t think of anything else they could be doing. He shrugged. Tubbo released a big sigh of relief, that was close.
—//—
Tint and Bubble laughed as they ran through the rooftops. They had the perfect spot for one of their pranks, the public side of the hero building, where anyone could see. They also had the perfect plan of what to paint. They ran across the city skyline hoping none of the patrolling heroes would see them in the darkness. They stopped just before the hero headquarters on a nearby roof. Then their plan began.
Bubble grabbed one of the pitch black paints from his satchel and got to work. He manipulated the paint out of the can and into a dark barrier between themselves and the public eye, anyone passing by would not notice a thing. Tint lit his phone’s flashlight and got to work creating the most beautiful yet horrendous image. Bubble started on creating the backup. When they were done they admired the work before them. Tint spoke up.
“My masterpiece!”
“Haha, it sure is Tint.” Bubble laughed.
“It’s yours too! You came up with the idea!”
Bubble nodded. “Well, do you want to do the honors?”
“After you.”
Bubble tagged the graffiti ‘B_’. He then bowed to Tint with a smile. Tint tagged the opposite side ‘T_’. They sat in silence for about 5 seconds before a pop could be heard. Both of them flinched and spun backwards. But before they could see anything they heard a loud laugh.
“Omg-hahahahah I can’t- hahhah.”
They could see a person inthe dark of the night. Tint turned his flashlight towards it, and there he was, the hero Swirl.
“Look-ha I just came to check what tripped our- ha sensors. You kids-ha! Ohh Dream is going to be so mad!”
“ Uhhh ” The two said in unison.
“A dick! Dressed as Dream! Holy shit can I have your autograph!Hahah” Swirl continued laughing. “Well, after I arrest you of course.”
Shit . Well they knew a fight was going to happen if they got caught. Tint summoned the graffiti hands drawn on either side of the, beautiful artwork, and stanced himself for battle
Tint made the first move reaching one of the hands out to grab Swirl but, ever the gymnast, he dodged. Bubble moved to trap him in paint, but he dodged again. Nothing they threw at him seemed to work. By now a small crowd of passerby people had gathered and were recording the fight. Tint and Bubble were known across town as the prankster vigilantes. They helped out people in the poorer areas and pranked the more well known heroes. So this fighght would be recorded and live streamed to thousands of people. It would also possibly get in the news because they targeted the hero offices.
“So you can manipulate paint,” He pointed at Bubble “And you drawings! That’s so cool!!!”
He weaved and dodged the young vigilantes effortlessly. Almost like he could float. Tint was getting fatigued, and he could also see Bubble panting and sniffling. The paint was drying on his very sensitive skin. He could tell because he was scratching at his hands. Swirl also yawned.
But that wasn’t a good sign. He started attacking more intensively. It was clear he was done playing around. Tind and Bubble saw this, so now the plan was to escape. They made a run for it when Swirl suddenly sneezed, but he was smarter then to let them run away now.
Swirl finally attacked, shooting one of the bandages his arms were wrapped in at Bubble. It curled around and trapped him. Swirl tugged at the rope and pinned Bubble under his foot.
Swirl stood over Bubble, Tint tint tried to come up with a plan to get him out of there. He was tired, and out of paint but he also had something for this occasion. It was something he came up with a couple months ago when he discovered he could make functional machines out of graffiti, as long as he deeply focused on how it fundamentally works.
“Well, it was quite fun arresting you guys. But now you have to come with me. C’mon, I have your buddy, so surrender.”
There it is! He pressed the small button on top of the contraption, and threw it at Swirl. Swirl caught it mid air.
“Ooh is this an invention of yours! I didn’t know you-”
The small grenade beeps one last time loudly and erupts in paint and glitter. Tint ran to grab Bubble from the ground. Swirl stumbled back in surprise but readied to attack again. That’s where the second part of the contraption kicked in and dispensed a colored smoke cloud. Swirl coughed and doubled back, he couldn’t see anything in the colorful cloud of dust. He hoped the media civilians were ok and were a safe distance away. When the smoke finally cleared the vigilantes were gone in the wind.
In a nearby alley two vigilantes were running and laughing. They tuned into an alley and another street and onto a rooftop where they took off their masks and colapsed into the gravel lined roof.
“Holy shit Tubbo! It actually worked!” Spoke Bubble.
“Of course it worked Ranboo, we tested it!” Tint Tubbo laughed.
“Yeah, but against an actual hero, one of the big 5?” Bubble Ranboo argued.
“Ok fair enough”
Chapter 3: Dude There’s No Time For Work I Gotta Watch Men Fight On The TV
Chapter Text
Tommy had an average day at work. There was nothing amiss when serving the customers of both eastside and south port. Hell, some of them even tipped extremely well! Something was off Tommy thought. But he had no reason to think so. The tv was on, playing a random news channel. It was nice background noise.
“Thank you Alaina, We just received the news that a fight is going on at the south city plaza…”
‘ Oh’ Tommy thought ‘ that can be interesting’
“We do not yet know the participants of the fight, but we have a reporter on the scene. Over to Rob who is on the scene”
The TV cut to a man standing at the edge of a helicopter. Tommy asked Kristin to take over bar duty. She knew he loved to watch the fights on the tv, so she complied without much of a fuss.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we just got news of the participants of the fight. The villains Siren and Thanatos were caught sneaking explosives into the south hero headquarters! But fortunately the heroes Dream and 404 intercepted them as they were escaping through the plaza, starting the fight we see now!”
Tommy numbly cleaned cups and served customers as he put his full focus in the fight.
“It seems Dream was knocked back right into the fountain, fortunately 404 is there at his side! The villains are making a move to escape! Without backup soon the heroes might lose the chance to capture!” Tommy inhaled sharply.
“We were informed Flame is currently heading to the scene! But with the main city quarters being miles away and the closest are focused on an explosion cleanup! It does seem that the villains have gotten away this time.”
Tommy took a sigh of relief. For what he did not know why.
“Thank you Rob. We’ll be back soon, on the scene, with some more news.”
Tommy got back to serving customers and cleaning cups. He was right, something did happen. Now he could relax for the rest of the shift. Or, at least he thought so, but a familiar, shady face came through the door. This bastard was back. And he brought someone else. Unimaginable. The other man was dressed in a white poet’s shirt and red slacks. Tommy tried to seem nonchalant as he watched the two men sit at the bar. But that did not work as Wilbur immediately noticed the other and motioned towards him talking to his brother.
“Ay, wife haver!” Tommy reddened in embarrassment.
“Well the shady fucker’s back with a friend.” He rebutted.
“My brother, actually.”
“Well he doesn’t seem as shady. He looks like an English major.”
Wilbur started laughing loudly. The other man was visibly amused, but he tried to hide it.
“He got you Techno.” He chuckled “Oh I forgot you don’t know each other, Tommy this is my brother Techno. Techno this is Tommy the kid I told you about.”
“Pleasure to meet you, Wife Haver.” Techno outstretched a hand.
“Pleasure is all mine Big T. What’ll ya be having today?”
“A water.” Tommy grabbed two cups and poured water for them. “Do you have potato fries?”
“We in fact do let me get it started for you in the back.”
As Tommy wandered out of earshot, Techno dropped the smile and turned to his brother.
“This the kid?”
“The one and only.”
“Well he certainly doesn’t seem the type to murder a man in cold blood and know how to hide a body.” Techno whispered. “Do you reckon he’s hiding something?”
“Maybe. I still want to recruit him.” He took a sip. “His powers don’t seem to be just finger bullets. He is a twig. I don't know how he logged the body over the trash can, it might be related to his powers.”
“Do you want to recruit him?”
Wilbur hesitates. Despite the fact that the kid already seemed to be in the business of villainy, he didn’t want to drag what was basically a kid into their business.
He didn’t have time to respond anyways, Tommy was back with their fries.
“Well we’re not really busy, but I still have customers.” Tommy shrugged.
“I presumed, it wasn’t a problem.” Wilbur nodded.
“So, what do you do for a living, old man?”
“Well, let’s say I work for a big game company.”
“Bullshit! What game?”
“Minecraft.”
“Holy shit really!”
Wilbur smiled and nodded.
“Well what kept you so terribly busy today that you have to unwind in Eastside?”
“I like this bar.”
“Is it because of meeeeee?”
Wilbur chuckled “No gremlin child, I know Kristin.”
“Then how come I never seen you before? I’ve been working here for two years!”
“I usually come here for breakfast.” Wilbur nodded. “I assume you work the night shift?”
Techno observed as the two fell into a conversation about games, blocks and other fun things. He couldn’t have imagined the two had only been friends for a couple days. Still, something was off, he opened his phone and shot a text to one of the contacts he had.
Th_n@t05: I need you to look into someone.
User7410111511610: What kind of information?
Th_n@t05: New kid. Impressed S. We’re recruiting him.
User7410111511610: Do you have a name?
Techno looked at the nametag. He smiled.
Th_n@t05: Tommy[Thomas?] Innit. Scruffy blond hair. Works at K’s place. Roommates? Just turned 18. Possibly a foster.
User7410111511610: Seems you already know the guy. Why am I here?
Th_n@t05: I think the kid’s sus. Killed a man without a flinch. Even disposed of the body right. Almost like it was muscle memory.
Th_n@t05: We’ve been looking into the hero agency’s RAISE program.
User7410111511610: Ya think the kid was part of that?
Th_n@t05: It’s a start.
User7410111511610: Got it.
“And then Tubbo blew my house up, but I still got his goat soooo.”
Kristin popped her head out from the kitchen. “So, You’ve met Phil’s boys Tommy?”
“Hello Kristin.” Techno greeted politely.
“Wait. You actually know them?”
“I went to high school with Phil”
“Ohh.”
“Well boys. It’s been fun. But the bar’s closed.”
“We apologize. C’mon Will.” Techno got up from his seat.
“Thank you Kristin. Sorry for keeping you.”
“Oh come on now, It’s not a problem. Run along boys.” She waved as they left the bar. “And you Tommy. You need to go home before your roommates are calling me after you.”
“Sorry Kristin.”
As Tommy walked home, he had the same feeling as he always does. He sighed, another mugger. Well he only had a T-Shirt so he only might get his hands dirty. He stopped halfway through the alley. Not a mugger then. He heard a light footstep landing behind him. Oh so it was him. He let the dark figure approach him.
“I have been-”
Tommy turned and pointed two fingers at the man.
“You will not like what happens next if you move.” Tommy threatened “Siren.”
“Haha. I thought you would do that.” Siren nervously chuckled.
“Well, what do you want?”
“I want to give you an offer.”
Tommy froze.
“Have you ever thought about being a villain?” Siren tilted his head.
“Can’t say I haven’t.”
“I want to offer an invitation to the Syndicate.”
“But isn’t the Syndicate only you, Thanatos and Zephyrus?” Tommy questioned.
“That’s only what the public sees.” Siren slowly lowered his hand to his pocket. “The full extent of the Syndicate is only known by Syndicate members. But it encompasses many villains and even heroes.”
“So what is the reason all of you do this?” Tommy lowered his hand.
“There is something the hero organization is hiding. Behind the smiles and heroes.” Siren extended his hand towards Tommy. “We’re having a meeting next Monday, midnight, so you should be off your work. Text the number on the paper if you decide to attend.”
“And what if I decide not to join?”
“You won’t be bothered again.” Siren spoke seriously. “By anyone.”
“Hmh.” Tommy hummed skeptically. It was a pretty good deal on their part. No strings attached. Still he was hesitant. What would Tubbo and Ranboo say? Well, he supposes they also wouldn’t approve of what he does now. Or what he used to do.
“I’ll give you an answer before Monday.”
“Thank you.” Siren smiled. “May I move now?”
“Yeah fuck off arsehole.” Tommy suppressed a chuckle.
Siren jumped onto the rooftops, scapering off into the night. Tommy, alone in the Alleyway, sighed. What had he gotten himself into.
Chapter Text
Tommy got home that night and went to his bed, well, their bed. They got this bed when they first bought the apartment fresh off being emancipated. They had saved enough money from all their jobs to rent a small one bedroom apartment in the southern part of Eastside. It wasn’t moldy, or trashed. But it was what they could afford. Kristin paid him well enough to pay his share and afford groceries. But it wasn’t a lie they went hungry a couple times.
Siren’s offer could help them. But it was also dangerous for them. Tommy was sure of it, the dangers outweighed the benefits. He would just let Monday go by and continue with his normal life.
Tommy woke up on his first day off in weeks to yelling in the kitchen.
“Tubbo! You had to be more careful! We knew if they found out, you’d be fired!”
“I know Ranboo, I’m looking for a new job, something off the grid, paper money.”
“That's not the point! We could have been arrested!” Ranboo cried.
“What’s going on guys?” Tommy asked, confused.
“Tubbo got caught shoplifting.”
“Tubbo…” Tommy simply sadly sighed.
“I know Tommy.” Tubbo sighed.
“I’ll help. I have a small network. We’ll find something.” Tommy hugged Tubbo.
They pulled away from the hug, and Tommy smiled. Tubbo went back to his laptop, looking for a new job. Tommy said he was getting out to go looking but he had something different in mind. He got into an alleyway and called the number he thought he woud never have to look at again. The phone rang.
“Hello Tommy. Have you thought about my offer?”
“I have.”
“And?”
“Where are you picking me up monday?”
—//—
Tommy left Kristin’s bar close to midnight. He had already told Tubbo he was going to be hanging out with a friend he met at work. He got to the alley he met Siren at, kicking his feet on the brick lined pavement. He heard a set of feet drop from the roof of the building behind him. He calmly turned around and stared into the shadowy figure that was Siren.
“Put these on and pull up your hoodie.” Siren said, throwing him an eye mask and a face cover. “Are you ready?”
“Sure thing bossman. Are you going to blindfold me, bag me, or are we going in the back of a dimly lit van.” Tommy nonchalantly said, hiding his insecurities.
“Neither.” Siren responded.
“Huh?” Tommy stared confused.
“Consider this your first lesson.” He jumped back onto the emergency stairs. “How to move through the night.”
Tommy chuckled and grabbed the stair railing. “Well old man I thought you would like to earn my trust before showing me your meeting place.”
“We don’t have a meeting place!” Siren laughed. “We don’t want to get caught, idiot.”
Tommy shrugged. They ran across the rooftop, and eventually got to an edge. Siren hesitated, looking at Tommy. But Tommy didn’t, jumping onto the gravel lined roof.
“What? You scared or something.”
Siren laughed. “No, no. I thought you would need help jumping.”
“Any self respected Eastside kid can jump a rooftop.”
They continued running and jumping across the Eastside roofline, Siren guiding Tommy on where to jump and here to turn. Siren then slowed down. They were now on a parking garage roof. Tommy could see a group of costumed, what he assumed were villains, sitting in a circle. He could identify a couple of them from what he saw on the news. There were, of course, the main Syndicate members, Thanatos and Zephyrus. The pink haired one was Nemesis, who could summon plants to her command. There was Hades, a fire powered villain. There were also a couple he did not recognize. Like a cloaked figure with a mask that displayed a “:]” .
“Thank you for joining us, Siren.” Said Zephyrus “And our new recruit, of course. How would you prefer to be called?”
“Uhhh?”
“So you don’t reveal your identity.” Zephyrus explained.
"T, for now”
“Very well T.” Said Zephyrus “Well, let’s all introduce ourselves first, I’m Zephyrus, besides me is Thanatos, but you probably know who we are.”
“I’m Nemesis. Nice to meet you!”
“Ayup man I’m Hades.”
The third person stayed quiet for a moment. Tommy looked expectantly at them, but he said nothing. Zephyrus noticed his confusion and spoke up:
“Sorry about him mate, he is working undercover for us and we really can’t risk his identity by him speaking. You can call him J though.”
Blade then spoke up, a heavily metalized voice. “We should get to the matter at hand. T, you want to accept our offer to join the syndicate as a supervillain.”
“Yes.”
“Alright, would you mind informing us of your powers?” The gravelly voice spoke into the night.
“Air manipulation.” Tommy spoke. “I am not really good at it though. I can only manage small bursts of air.”
“But those bursts are really powerful.” Informed siren. “I saw you kill a man with a finger gun.”
Hades laughed at that. “I’m sure with a bit of practice we can whip this-” He chuckled “Hilarious, power into shape.”
Tommy smiled at that.
“Now we only have to get you a costume.” Said Zephirus “Does Athena still do costumes?”
“I’m sure I can convince them.” Said Siren. “Now come on T, I’ll take you home.”
“Is the meeting over?”
“The one you’re part of. Yes.”
Tommy got home and a sense of dread washed over. He promised himself he wouldn’t get involved in this stuff again. He looked at Tubbo and Ranboo. He had to do this. For them. They were the thing he cared about most.
He couldn’t let them down.
–//–
Tommy woke up to a text from an unknown number. He opened it, and it read:
555-0149: hey this is wilbur
555-0149: i got your number from kristin she said you were free this morning
555-0149: do you wnna hang out
Tommy smiled, yeah he could spare a few hours. He really needed the distraction.
Me: sure old man
Me: where do I meet you
Wilbur: im at puffy’s laundromat
Me: ill be there in 10.
“Tubbo! Ranboo! The friend from work, Wilbur, has invited me to hang out! I’ll be out for a couple hours!”
“Sure Tommy! Have fun!” Responded Ranboo.
Tommy struggled with his shoes, and headed out the door. The walk to Puffy's laundromat was a short one. It was next to his work, so he went there pretty often. He got to the laundromat and Wilbur was there standing with a stylish yellow sweater. He was looking at his phone, but seemed to notice Tommy and waved over.
“Tommy! Hello, it’s nice to see you again.”
“Yeah old man.” Tommy waved back. “So. Where are we going?”
“I’m going to take you to the best place to eat in town.”
Tommy froze. He didn’t have the money to eat out. Hell he would barely be able to make rent. He was hungry, they had to ration food since they would not be able to afford groceries this week. Shit.
“Yeah. Sorry man, I can barely make rent this month.” Tommy sighed.
“Oh. It’s not a problem. I’ll pay.”
Tommy perked up.
“You looked hungry. Let’s go!”
They walked for a couple minutes across the sidewalk. The shops on this side of town weren’t as bad as Eastside. Still, eating out was only reserved for special occasions.
“We’re here!” Wilbur said as they approached the small corner building. The sign said “Bad’s”. “This is the best spicy chicken in town.”
“Bet.”
They entered the shop and were greeted by a tall demon. His nametag read ‘Bad’. He was accompanied in tow by a short bald man, whose name tag read “Jack”.
“JACK! Stop cursing at the customers!” Bad shouted at the man behind him.
“I do what I want to mr. badboyhalo!” Jack shouted back as he went behind the bar to the kitchen.
“I apologize for his behavior sir, what can I do for you?” Bad slumped.
“A table for two.” Wilbur smiled.
“Wilbur! Oh thank god, you saved me the embarrassment.”
“Not entirely.” Bad looked confused. “Bad, this is Tommy.”
“Hello.” Tommy awkwardly nodded.
“Oh a new friend! You look so hungry, may I recommend the spicy chicken?”
“Sure.” Tommy said.
“You’re going to like that one.” Wilbur said with a smirk.
“One plate of hot wings coming up!” Bad said running to the kitchen.
The two sat at the table. Tommy looked at the menu, he was wondering why Wilbur had invited him there. Had the man felt pity? No, he genuinely liked his late night chats with him. Wilbur had been coming to the bar for the whole week he had met him and had chats with him. Was he just trying to be his friend?
“I can feel you thinking.”
“Why did you invite me…”
“You’re fun to talk to.”
Oh
“You also seemed a bit lonely.”
“Ha.”
It was then that a loud, annoying voice interrupted their conversation.
“AYUP my man Wilbur, how are ya mate.”
“Jack! This is Tommy, he’s a friend of mine.” Wilbur smiled.
“Ayup big man. How ya doin. Do you want something to drink?”
“Five of your strongest Irish beers.”
“Are you even of legal age?”
“Lol no. I’ll have a diet coke.”
“Sure thing. Wilbur, the usual?”
“Yes jack.”
“Alrightie, I’ll be right back with your drinks and your food.”
Wilbur and Tommy settled into a comfortable silence. Tommy was pleasantly surprised by Wilbur’s honesty. A lot of people liked to make a charity case out of Tommy. The poor foster who was abandoned by society. But no, Wilbur didn’t even know he was a foster. Tommy was processing the facts when Wilbur finally spoke up.
“You wanna know something?”
Tommy hummed.
“I was a foster once.”
Oh
“Wait, don’t you have a brother?”
“Also a foster. Our dad, Phil, adopted us out of the street.”
Tommy swallowed. If that was true, Wilbur probably knew what it was like to not have money for food.
“I know what it’s like to be tight on money.”
Tommy was going to speak up when. Jack came back with their food. Tommy completely forgot what he was going to say, in favor of looking at the delicious wings. Wilbur chuckled. Tommy dug into the wings, however his feast was halted by how spicy they were.
“Wilthurrr!!!!!”
“Hahhahah!!!!” Wilbur laughed “It’s Bad’s special. The Ultra Spicy Wings!”
“Jaaack!!!!”
“Ha! The newbie fell for it Bad!!”
Tommy faked a grumpy pout. But inside he smiled. Perhaps Wilbur was really there to be a friend. He left the restaurant with a sore tongue and a warm heart.
Notes:
Sorry I lost my motivation for a little bit. BUT ITS BACK!!
Chapter Text
Tommy now had a problem. What did he want his villain name to be? He could go with Wife Haver but he could do better than that. He was now standing at the bar at work, with a notepad writing any ideas down. He was so focused he didn’t even notice Kristin sitting down at the bar. He jotted down ideas: Raccoon man, biggest man.
“What are you so focused on, Tommy.” Kristin spoke gently.
“Ahh! Kristinn.” Tommy yelped.
Kristin smiled “Are you writing something?”
“Uhh yes. I need your help.” Tommy pouted. “Can you think of a cool name?”
“Well, I do like reading old fiction.” Kristin said. “Have you thought about naming the character after a Greek hero?”
“I don’t know any good ones.”
“Well what about Eurus?”
“Who is that?”
“The god of the East wind.”
Tommy perked up at the mention of wind. “Kristin, that's perfect!”
“Well, I’m glad to have helped.”
Tommy later that night was walking back home, and in that same alleyway he met Siren, Thanatos was waiting for him. He looked into the blood red eyes of the blood god, but he had no fear in him. Thanatos extended him a hand and said:
“Come with me kid, I have something to teach you.”
Tommy took his hand, Thanatos swung him over his shoulder and jumped onto a set of stairs and onto the rooftops. Tommy laughed as they jumped, he felt like he was on a rollercoaster. Thanatos chuckled with him as they jumped across the buildings to the city center, where the main hero headquarters were. Thanatos stopped a block away,as to not get spotted, but they still had a good view of the entire building.
He was dropped at Thanatos’ feet, and he stumbled a little until he found his balance again. Thanatos instructed him to crouch down.
“You probably know this as the hero headquarters, but underground is also where they keep you for interrogation. Every syndicate member knows all the exits of the underground.” Thanatos threw him a blueprint. “I need you to memorize this as soon as possible. If you’re working with us, you’ll be considered at least a class B villain. To the eyes of the hero commission, your powers don’t even matter. We are that dangerous.”
“Woah.” Tommy scanned the blueprints, putting them in the bottom of his bag. Thanatos noticed that.
“Next time you have a day off, give me the bag, I’ll have Athena sow a false bottom for these kinds of things.” Thanatos explained. “Speaking of, tomorrow I’ll take you to their workshop. We need a disguise for you kid.”
“Hey! I’m not a kid!”
Thanatos chuckled. “Sure.”
Tommy was looking at the building, trying to remember all the exits, when he noticed a green costumed figure leave the building.
“Uhh… Thanatos.” He pointed below him.
“Shit. go down into that alley. Go!”
Tommy jumps down onto the emergency stairs. And fell down on the alley. He hid behind a dumpster attentively listening to the conversation above him. He can hear Thanatos speaking to someone.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the city’s number 1 hero.”
Holy shit
“I have a name, Thanatos.”
Tommy was screwed.
“Dream.”
Tommy tried his best to lower his breathing. He started panicking, he hadn’t expected to fight Dream . Not on his first day of officially being a villain.
“What are you doing here?” Dream spoke “I thought we had an agreement to not attack each other's headquarters.”
“Can’t a man appreciate the city landscape.” Thanatos taunted, “Besides, I’m not here to fight.”
“You always want to fight. Something’s up with you.”
Tommy prepared for a fight.
“Something is happening, Dream.” Thanatos spoke in a serious tone. “You know what was in those commision reports I showed you.”
Dream went quiet.
“The invitation I gave you is open, Cl…”
Tommy couldn’t hear the last part, he assumed Thanatos whispered it.
“Leave, Thanatos.” Dream sighed.
Thanatos jumped into the alleyway. He was looking around, probably for Tommy. He scrambled out of his hiding spot, swiping away the trash from his pants.
“Holy shit! That was Dream!”
“Don’t worry about him, kid. I’ll make sure he knows not to attack you randomly after your debut.”
“Wait what?”
“A couple months ago, I showed Dream certain files we stole from the commission. I can’t tell you about it yet, but let’s just say the commission is hiding something.” Thanatos explained, “I offered Dream an invite to the syndicate, but he denied it. However he did agree to not seek battles with the members of the city if the encounter wasn’t known by the commission or the public.”
“Ohhh.”
“Yeah. I’ll tell him later about you. But for now, let’s get you home, and to a shower.”
Tommy tried to sneak his way home from the emergency stairs, but he found a familiar face trying to sneak in.
“Tubbo?”
“Uhhh. Tommy?” Tubbo answered. “Why do you stink?”
“Ummm… Fell in the dumpster while taking out the bar’s trash?” Tommy stuttered. “Why are you sneaking in?”
“Well why are you?”
They looked at each other.
“Let’s not speak of this again.”
“Agreed.”
Tommy then went to take a goddamn shower.

Chapter Text
Siren crossed the rooftops of eastside, he had nothing to do but run. He ran and ran, but after all, he was only so fast. He had caught up to him. He felt a sharp throb through his side, one of his horns had pierced him. He slowly feels the poison seep into his bloodstream, he struggles to keep his eyes open as he falls onto the edge of one of the rooftops.
“I suppose it has been fun, Siren , but now, it is your turn to burn in hell.”
Siren struggles towards the edge, praying that at least Techno and Phil would find his body. He loses his balance and falls from the roof, onto a familiar alleyway, the building thereof reading in big neon letters.
Kristin’s
However, Siren Wilbur, doesn’t know that yet.
Kristin was going through her normal closing shift, Tommy didn’t even annoy any customers today, she was about to close up the place when she heard a loud bang towards the alley behind the building. She rushed over, thinking the raccoons had pushed the dumpster open again, however what she found was a worse sight. A man she knew as Siren lay there, close to death, she rushed over to confirm, and saw that his blindfold had fallen off from the drop. She gasped, because there laid Wilbur, the kid she helped raise on the streets. She started crying and frantically searched for a pulse. There it was, faint, but enough. She knew what to do now. With a sharp strike from her pocket knife she bled her own blood into the wound.
Wilbur faintly shook awake, still drowsy from the poison, and immediately stumbled back in shock. He reached for his blindfold but there was nothing.
“K-Kristin. Please, It’s-It’s not what-”
“Will. My sunshine, I’m not mad dear.”
Will started crying, he reached to hug Kristin. He sobbed into her shoulder.
“Will, I would never, EVER, abandon you.” She reassured into his shoulder. “I’m not them.”
“Hic- Thank you, Kristin.”
She pulled away to face him. “Now I only have one question.”
Wilbur prepared for what the question would be.
“WHO did this to you.”
–//–
Wilbur now sat at Kristin's bar, hearing Tommy ramble to him about the latest addition to his 3ds game collection, which he found at the dumpster behind his apartment. He left the bar that night slightly after Tommy, with Kristin. The two of them entered her car, and Wilbur directed to the empty parking lot. When they were approaching the block the lot was in, Wilbur instructed her to park at a nearby street, then he guided her through alleyways and rooftops, somewhere along the way, Wilbur putting on his blindfold and giving Kristin a mask of her own. They got to the roof of the garage, where two familiar figures stood. Thanatos and Zephyrus. Kristin looked nervous, and who could blame her, meeting the city’s biggest supervillains. Zephyrus took the first step towards her.
“Kristin, we sorely apologize for getting you involved in this.” Zephyrus said. “I know you know of Siren’s identity, it is not a problem, we all trust you with it.”
“How do you know if you trust me?”
“Well…” Zephyrus stalled. “I suppose you’ll find out one way or the other.” And he took his mask off.
Kristin’s jaw dropped. Her beloved friend, the person who basically helped her start her business. Who gave her the opportunity to raise Wilbur as if he was her own child.
Phil .
He put his mask back on, draping the veil down onto his face again. Kristin looked towards Thanatos, he simply smirked. His pink hair was enough of a tell anyways to Kristin. She opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, Phil interrupted her.
“Kristin, I am so sorry about this.” Phil panicked. “I understand if you never want to talk to us again, but I wanted to make sure you know that we care so much about you and we would never willingly put you in danger-”
But before he could finish, Kristin blurted out:
“I want to help.”
“-And I even made sure, the heroes- Wait what?”
“You heard me Phil.” She confidently said. “ Let me help you.”
“Wh-Why, that would put you in danger-”
“I want you boys to be safe.” She told him “You are my family. And from what I saw with Will, you are in desperate need of a healer.”
“Kristin, I want you to understand the thing you are getting yourself into.”
“I understand. And I accept it.”
“Then, I suppose we could arrange a meeting with the Syndicate, to introduce you.” He said “Do you have a name we could call you by?
Kristin smiled
“Artemis”
Phil smiled and nodded at that.
“There is one more thing you should know though…”
Kristin’s smile dropped.
“PHILZA CRAFT!” Phil tensed at that. “HOW DARE YOU INVOLVE TOMMY IN THIS!”
“Look, he seeked us out!” Phil rapidly explained.
“If I find a single

Back in the present, Tommy was putting his shoes on and grabbed his bag, ready to meet with Thanatos.
“Tubbo! Ranboo! I’m going out, you can put dinner in the fridge for me!”
“Sure! Have fun!”
Tommy left the apartment and headed to the address that Thanatos had sent him through messages. He got there and ducked into the alleyway of a fancy store. He was told to knock on the door when he got there. After he knocked, a tall white eyed person, who frankly gave him the creeps, opened the door.
“Ah, you must be the new recruit.” They pulled him into the store “Welcome to the Syndicate kid.”
“Uhh. Thanks?”
“Not a problem. My name, as you may already know, is Athena.” She said as she sat him on the back room couch “Do you have an idea I can start with?”
“I can manipulate air?” Tommy hesitated, “I also really like red.”
“Hmm. I can work with that.” He scratched ideas on a notepad “Can you fly with your powers?”
“Only a couple inches.”
“Do you do physical combat more or long distance?”
“Umm, I don’t know.” Tommy pondered “I can do physical fine, but I focus on my powers more.”
“Alright.”
Athena continued asking him questions related to his powers and abilities. At the end she had filled a solid 3 pages of their notebook. Tommy was almost dizzy with the amount of stuff he was asked. Athena told him to go to the main part of the store to look at clothing styles he would like to emulate in his costume. He swears he was looking for hours before he found a 1700s inspired suit and fell in love with the thing. He rushed to Athena, who was sketching up designs and showed him the outfit. She added a modified version of the suit to be red and white with added straps down the middle to hold it in place. They showed him the finished design, with an added poet shirt flourish to the collar.
“Holy shit it looks so cool!”
“I knew you’d like it.”
“Thank you so much.”
“It was not a problem really. Always happy to help a new recruit.” She said “Your costume should be done by the next two weeks.”
“Umm, can I ask you one more question…”
“Sure.”
“About my villain name…”
–//–
Siren had found the boy later that night lounging on a rooftop. His face was obscured by a mask. That was very smart since he was meeting one of the most powerful villains of the city. Siren sat down next to him and pulled out a pair of McDonalds bags. He gave one to Tommy and opened his chicken nuggets.
“You said you had something to tell me.”
“Yup.” Tommy munched on some of his fries “I got a villain name.”
“Oh! Well that’s convenient.”
“It’s Eurus, the god of the east wind. I thought it would be cool, since I come from eastside.”
“Oh, it's perfect.” Siren patted him on the back. “I’ll tell the other members of the Syndicate right away.”
“Yeah you should do that. Umm I was thinking we could do something tonight, yknow, get the ball rolling.” Tommy anxiously said “Maybe rob a rich person store,”
Siren saw through the facade.
“Tommy?”
“Umm… yes?”
“Are you struggling with money?”
“No! I was just thinking about all the chaos and anarchy and-”
Siren interrupted, putting a hand to his mouth. He went through his trenchcoat, and pulled out a wad of cash. He simply gave it to Tommy.
“If you still want to rob a-” He chuckled “‘rich person store’. We can do it tomorrow. You’ve had a long day, go home and rest.”
Siren jumped out into the alleyways and Tommy finally had a chance to look at the bundle of cash.
“HOLY SH-”

Chapter Text
Tubbo was panicking. They had three days to pay their rent. Tubbo still needed a job. Therefore, the panic. Tommy had work today all day since he had to pick up Tubbo’s slack. Ranboo was at the cafe, also working. Both of them were trying to get the money for their rent. Tubbo couldn’t sit still, so he decided to go on a walk. No graffiti though, he had shelved Tint for the moment.
Tubbo walked until he got to the edge of the Las Nevadas strip. He really couldn’t afford anything there, so there was no reason to go further. But he still found himself walking on the bright Las Nevadas roads. He got all the way down to the casino before he decided to turn back. This time he took a shortcut through one of the alleyways that lead to eastside.
But before he could get to the next alley he heard a thump behind him. He turned back defensively and found a man. This man was wearing a dress shirt and suspenders, he looked like he worked at one of the hotels nearby. Except for the gigantic scar running through his face. He looked like he fell from the roof, he was hurt. Tubbo couldn’t help it, he had a knack for helping people. He walked over to the man and hoisted him up.
“Up you go.”
“What are you doing?!”
“Helping you, dumbass”
“Heh you’re a feisty one.”
“I’m not the one who fell from a roof.”
“Fair”
“Where can I take you bossman?”
“Give me a second.”
The man pulled out a burner phone and dialed a number.
“Slime. Yeah I’m injured. Yeah. No. No, I don't need K. Meet me at the front door to the hotel.”
“What hotel are you staying at?”
“The casino hotel.”
“Well then moneybags, brace yourself I’m moving”
Tubbo slowly lead the man to the casino. He felt out of place there. The security guards looked at the scene, but did not move. He looked around for the person the man could have mentioned. He saw a person who had the same suspenders as him so he started heading in that direction. It seems that the man also noticed that.
“Slime!”
“Quackity from Las Nevadas!”
Quackity? Now where had Tubbo heard that name before?
“And you, kid!” Tubbo looked up “What’s your name?”
“Tubbo.”
“Well, Tubbo, if you’re ever in need of anything,” He pulled out a business card “you know who to call.”
“Thank you.”
Quackity smiled and motioned to Slime. “Slime, send a car to get this kid home.”
“Right away.” He pulled out a walkie-talkie. “Purpled, can you come drive this kid home. Bosses orders. Name’s Tubbo, wearing a green hoodie.”
Slime turned Quackity towards the elevator. Quackity waved goodbye, Tubbo waved back, confused. He went back to the entrance, and a man tapped him on the shoulder. He was a short man with antennas
“Are you Tubbo?”
“Yea?”
“I’m Purpled, I’ll be taking you home.”
Purpled led him to a sleek black car and opened the back door for him. Tubbo entered the car, and Purpled got in the driver’s seat and left the Las Nevadas Cassino.
“So, Tubbo, Where do you live?”
Tubbo mumbled a response.
“Sorry I didn’t hear you”
Tubbo sighed “Eastside…”
“Oh. Do you have a street?”
Tubbo gave him the address number. Purpled simply input it on the car’s GPS and continued driving. Tubbo awkwardly shifted in his seat. He decided small talk was better than nothing.
“You look pretty young. How old are you?”
“Eighteen. You look young as well.”
“I’m seventeen.”
“What are you doing in the Las Nevadas strip at nine in the evening?” Purpled questions “Don’t your parents have a curfew or something?”
“Don’t got any.” Tubbo plainly answered. “I’m emancipated.”
“So am I.” Purpled responded unphased.
“Wait what?!”
“Yeah, I got emancipated at sixteen, with the help of Quackity. He offered me a job, and I’ve been working there ever since.”
“Why?”
“I helped him, much like you did.”
Tubbo quieted down after that. They got to his apartment pretty fast, considering they were in a car. Tubbo motioned towards the dingy apartment building. He opened the door and dreaded going back home, where he could do nothing. But before he could Purpled tapped his shoulder.
“I would suggest looking over that business card. Quackity takes favors seriously.”
Tubbo left the car and entered the apartment. Now that there was light he looked at the business card:
QUACKITY
Owner of
LAS NEVADAS CASINO
Phone: 555-555-5555
Email: [email protected]
Web: lasnevadascasino.com.ln
Tubbo quickly looked it up. And there it was, Quackity no last name given, owner of the Las Nevadas casino. He moved to the room he shared with Tommy and Ranboo. He saw the number written and called it on his phone. The phone rang for a couple of seconds.
“Umm, hello, this is Tubbo.” He expected to be answered by a secretary.
“Ah! Tubbo! I expected a call.”
“Is your leg better?”
“Yes it was only a sprain.”
Tubbo didn’t know what to say. On one hand, if he needed to make an impression, he already made one. And apparently it was a good one.
“You know, I found Purpled on the streets when he was only a year younger than you.”
“Yes he told me that.”
“He told me you were emancipated.” Quackity paused, “And that you lived in eastside. In a dingy apartment.”
“Might not even have an apartment soon…” Tubbo mumbled, hoping Quackity hadn’t heard him.
“Tight on money?”
“Got fired.”
“Why?” Tubbo felt that was a trick question.
“Got caught shoplifting food.”
“That’s reasonable,” Tubbo silently sighed “I assume you are looking for a job?”
“Yeah. But preferably something that pays in cash.”
“I can work with that.” Quackity mumbled something he couldn’t quite make out. “Can you be here at the casino by nine in the morning?”
“Uhh there’s a bus, right?”
“Oh, no there is transport, I just mean that you don’t live all the way by the port.”
“I live by the eastside center, You’know Kristin’s?”
“If you live there then absolutely.” Quackity scribbled something. “Well then. It looks like you have a job now Mr. Tubbo. I’ll send a car out to you Monday, let’s say, eight o’clock tuesday?”
“Sounds good to me bossman.”
“Well, it has been a pleasure.” Quackity hung up.
Tubbo sat with a smile. He got his best dress shirt ready. When Tommy and Ranboo got home that night he told them the good news. They had a celebratory movie night. Tommy told him that he had saved up enough for rent with his extra shifts. Therefore they had the extra money that Ranboo had accumulated to get a pizza. Sure it was a simple cheese pizza, and it wasn’t that good. But they were happy.

Chapter Text
Tommy had a conundrum. On one hand, they got the money to pay off rent, but on the other hand he thinks it would be really funny if he robs a ‘rich person store’. Or better, he could rob a bank! Siren could surely work with that. As he stared into the phone he thought of something. He hated the government, the government had lots of money, therefore, if he robbed the treasury building, It would be two stones with one bird! AND! He also had to plan his debut, and robbing the government would be a great debut! He decided to call Siren immediately.
“SIREN!IHADANIDEAFORMYDEBUT!” Luckily no one was home to hear that.
“What the fuck Tommy? You almost deafened me!” Siren shouted back. “What are you talking about?”
“I had an idea, for my debut!” Tommy shouted, but less loudly “You remember when you said that we could rob something later. Well I was thinking; Who is more rich than the government? That’s right, No one! So I want to rob the treasury building! And then I thought, ‘That would make a great debut!’, and here we are!” Tommy explained, very excitedly.
“That is a good idea Tommy. And it would ultimately lead into the Syndicate’s anti-government stance.” Siren thought for a moment “Yes. I’ll call Blade and Zephyrus to arrange the details.”
Tommy heard the lock on the door snap “Yup,thankyouseeyoulater!” He hung up the phone.
“Tommy! I need to borrow one of your dress shirts for tomorrow!”
“They’re in the closet! I went to Puffy’s to wash it! You just need to press them!”
Meanwhile, on the other side of the line, Siren Wilbur set his phone down with a smile. He texted Techno about the debut plan to run it through him. The bastard answered in ten seconds the second he heard about Tommy was going to rob the government, saying that ‘he was so proud’, and that ‘they grow up so fast’. Wilbur simply sighed and sent the plan to Phil, hoping he had more of a level head. His dad only responded ‘he he anarchy go boom’. Wilbur got up from his chair and decided he would talk to Quackity.
–//–
Quackity was good at planning robberies. He had to run a casino after all. So he knew all the types of camera blind spots, face detection software, bank vaults, lazy security guards, manufacturer defects, drills, etc… One could say that he did his research. Now Wilbur was asking him to help him break into the treasury building. To be fair, Quackity had been helping Phil plan Tommy’s debut. And this was a viable, and flashy option.
“Wilbur, You know Phil is in charge of this.”
“I know Quackity! But the idiot only answered me this,” Wilbur showed him the text.
Quackity started laughing. “That’s Phil for you.”
“Quackityyyyy.”
“I mean, -hehe- that sounds like an approval to me.” He tried to suppress the laugh. “If you want, I can get blueprints.”
“Thank you Big Q.” Wilbur sighed.
“You’re welcome, Soot.” Quackity said. “Also, I think you should take the kid on a test run of a robbery, something small like a gas station, or a McDonalds.”
“That’s a good idea.”
Wilbur left Las Nevadas to change. Once he got home, he texted Tommy to meet him on top of the parking lot with his provisionary costume. Tommy hadn’t been expecting a message back so soon. Tommy got his hoodie and mask with the voice changer, wrote a quick note for his roommates and left to the parking lot. Halfway through one of the alleys nearby he changed and got up onto the city roofline. It was only a couple minutes till he got to the lot. He saw Siren waiting for him there, with a very suspicious bag.
“Eurus,” Tommy still had to get used to that. “Good you’re here.”
“What did you call me here for bossman?”
“Well, before we went to the treasury building to rob it, I thought we could practice on a jewelry store.”
“That sounds good to me.” Tommy shrugged, “Is it in West End?”
“Yup. Let’s go, I’ll explain more when we get there.”
The two started running through Eastside. Tommy felt the wind in his hair. He liked running across the city rooftops, now that he was a villain he could do that all the time! Siren took a turn into the city center, West End was a very patrolled area, but at this hour, the hero rotation was changing, so it would be very unlikely they found anyone on the way there. Tommy Eurus and Siren got to the jewelry store’s backroom alley and Siren started explaining the steps they would take.
“You see the cameras? You’re going to shoot them. This store’s sensors are attached to them, so if you take out their power supply they cut out completely.” Eurus nodded along to the information. “Now, the cashier is likely going to call the heroes. They have hero alert buttons all over West End. Now I brought this device that intercepts it and sends a message to your earpiece. If we hear it, we dip, we’re only here to practice. Got all of that?”
“Got it.” Eurus put the earpiece on.
Siren nodded. He started picking the lock to the back room, showing Eurus how to do it. They sneaked into the store, Eurus taking out the back cameras as they went in. When they reached the door that led to the store Siren counted.
“Three,”
This was it, his first crime.
“Two,”
Well, not exactly.
“One,”
The first one he remembers.
“Go!”
Siren and Eurus breached the door, scaring the customers, and the cashier, who luckily, was talking at the displays. They walked into the store floor, Eurus shot the cameras around them, leaving no question of his danger.
“Alright, no one moves , we aren’t here to hurt anyone.” Siren commanded “We will simply grab a couple of things and go.”
Siren nodded at Eurus and he pointed a finger gun just beside the cashier, and shot a blast of air that broke the glass. The cashier was unable to move due to Siren’s command and yelped. He put all the gold and diamond jewelry into the carrier bag. Siren grabbed the bag, but as the command wore off one the cashiers got to the alarm button under the register. The alarm went off, indicating it was time to go. Siren put the bag over his shoulder and grabbed Eurus.
“Let’s go!”
Eurus and Siren left the back door of the store. But before they could escape into the city skyline, they saw Flame staring directly at them. He was pinned into the wall by none other than Swirl, both of them as red as his costume. The silence was broken by Eurus:
“If you don’t tell anyone you saw us we won't tell anyone we saw you.”
The two looked at eachother, then at Eurus and Siren.
“Saw what?” Flame turned to Swirl.
Siren pushed Eurus up onto the emergency stairs. They ran a safe distance away from the store, Eurus Tommy started laughing, then “Siren laughed. Soon both of them were wheezing through the rooftops.
“Flame, *wheeze* ”
“I didn’t know he was a bottom.”
They got to the parking lot, Zephyrus was waiting for them.
“So, how did it go?”
“Well - hehe.”
“Sounds like someone had fun.”
“Ok, if you promise not to tell, we will tell you what happened.” Tommy chuckled.
“Ok?...”
“Swirl tops Flame.”
“WhAT!”
“I know right! We found Swirl pinning Flame to the wall and they just let us go!”
“Well, it sounds like something.”
“This was fun, Eurus, I’ll send half of the payout of the necklaces to you later. You should go home before your roommates get suspicious.”
Tommy left to go home, Zephyrus and Siren waited until he was out of earshot.
“How did he do?”
“Surprisingly well. Again, no hesitation.”
“And J’s info?”
“Nothing came up other than what we already know.”
“Nothing?”
“Nothing. No parents, no relatives, online footprint wiped clean.”
“You think that he was part of it?”
“If he was, they made damned sure he was off the system.” Siren pulled out his phone “You think we should ask Dream?”
–//–
Dream was having a nice relaxing day at the tower. Commandment had given him a day off, he didn’t know why, but he appreciated it anyway. 404 and Flame were grabbing pizza for them to eat at the Tower cafeteria, he was lounging on his apartment at the Tower’s couch. He was scrolling through TikTok, not on his public account though. You see, Dream doesn’t really like what he does at the Tower. He is forced to ignore poorer districts like Eastside in favor of patrolling the city center and West End. So he tends to like a lot of pro vigilante videos. But he can’t show that to the public, otherwise he would be deemed a traitor.
He felt the burner phone in his back pocket vibrate. Curious, he opened the message.
Unknown number: Dream we need to talk.
He knew this number. It was Thanatos. Dream swallowed, he only did this when there was something serious to talk about. Dream dreaded the conversation on his only day off in weeks, but nonetheless, it had to be done. He answered quickly, not to arise suspicion in 404 or Flame.
Nightmare: can’t talk right now 4 and f are coming upstairs soon ill send a text when they have gone to bed
Unknown number: Sure, meet me at K’s, 8 pm. If your weird sleep schedule holds they will be asleep by then.
Dream sighed. He had to sneak out again. Later that night, when 404 and Flame were both asleep, he took an invisibility potion and got out of the Tower. He went all the way to Eastside in his disguise, the potion wore off just about halfway through an alley next to Kristin’s. He was wearing normal clothes and a face mask, so there was no risk of him being found out. He saw a shadow at the corner of his eye, a familiar pink hair followed it.
“Hello Clay.”
They entered the building.
“Techno,” Dream Clay approached the bar. “Why are we here?”
“You’ll see.” Techno turned to the ever oblivious waiter at the other corner of the bar.
Clay’s eyes followed. Both of them watched as Tommy argued with a man who was way too drunk for his own good. Eventually Kristin stepped in, pointing at the two men at the other side of the bar. Techno smiled and waved. Tommy ran over, excited to be out of the conversation with the customer. He got the two of them a water glass, but not before starting to chatter.
“Big man Techno! Who’s your friend?”
“This is Clay, he is a friend of mine from college.”
“Ayup Big C.”
“Um, hi.” Clay answered.
“Can you get us mozzarella sticks to start with?”
“Sure can big man, do you want fries with that?” Techno nodded, Clay simply watched. “Alright, I’ll get started for you.” And he disappeared into the kitchen.
“I want information from the Tower on him.”
“Wait what!” Clay exclaimed, “He’s a kid.”
“We recruited him. And we couldn’t find any info on him.” Techno sipped from his water. “And I do mean any. We have suspicion he was in the RAISE program, but we cannot find out.”
“How do you know?”
“He disposed of a body the same way you did.”
Clay’s blood ran cold. They don’t talk about that.
“What do you need?”
“Confirmation.” Techno swirled the glass in a circular motion. “And his file, if you can find it.”
“I suppose the same rules for the syndicate apply?” Techno nodded.
Tommy had come back, so they paused that conversation. Tommy was rambling about his roommate's obsession with bees or something, Clay couldn’t really pay attention to it. He was trying to remember anything about a kid around his age in the Tower. Blonde, around his late teens, blue eyes. He came up empty. Techno had finished the mozzarella sticks. Tommy went to attend to other customers, as Kristin only had so many employees. Clay was lost in thought, while Techno was as calm as ever.
“If it helps,” Techno spoke up, “The first record of him in the system was four years ago, his first foster home. From what we read, he was 14.”
Clay remembered something.
“What was the date?”
“December 14th”
December 14th, four years ago.
Shit.

Chapter Text
Clay liked roaming around in the Tower. The older superheroes were always fun to talk to, they had so many stories to tell. He especially liked the Captain, she was one of the best out there. There were rumors too, those spread fast around. One that Clay never really believed until he saw himself, was the little kid running around the tower. The Tower had a strict policy on children not being able to join the hero program. He knew it personally, after all, his mother tried enrolling him when he first developed his power at six years old. His matter puppetry was sought after by the commission in his later years.
That was until he saw a boy, who couldn’t be older than 11 roaming the Tower halls. Assuming the boy was on a field trip, he approached him. The boy looked at him and ran. Disappearing into the corner.
This wasn’t his first encounter with the boy. He showed up at the corner of his eye every so often. He didn’t think much of it, assuming it was the child of one of the higher ups.
December 14th was a normal day for Clay. He had his normal breakfast, patrol schedule, day with his friends. He was once again roaming. He had been dismissed from patrol, so he took the opportunity to take a walk around the Tower’s dorms, hoping he found someone to spend the time with.
He wouldn’t like what he found instead.
The boy was there, at the end of the corridor. He was kneeling covered in red. Clay rushed to his side, thinking the boy was hurt. When he got there he found no sign of cuts or bruises, just red. The boy was staring at his hands. Clay popped the Medical kit in his suit pocket open, ready to clean him up in case the blood was obscuring the cut. But the boy spoke for the first time in the years he had been aware of him.
“It’s not my blood.”
Right as he said that, the military guards came in from the other side of the hallway he had come in from and escorted him out. Leaving them to deal with the boy. He didn’t say anything, but the guards reassured him it was a spill in the infirmary, and that the kid had panicked and ran, that he was fine and returning to his parents.
Clay didn’t believe that.

Tubbo was getting ready for his first day on the job. What the job entailed he didn’t know, but he wanted to dress the part. He even pressed Tommy’s dress shirt. He got a message from who he assumed was Purpled saying that a company car was picking him up. True to his word a sleek black SUV was waiting at the front ofhis apartment complex. The driver was silent and polite. Tubbo was fidgeting with the hem of his bag. He was bringing a water bottle and a small lunch. Tubbo was greeted at the back of the building by a green haired man, Slime, he remembered.
“Tubbo from eastside! Pleasure to see you again!”
“Sure thing, nice to see you too.”
“I will show you to your locker and give you your uniform.”
Slime and Tubbo roamed backstage to the casino until they reached the door to the main floor. Tubbo wondered why, and he got his answer when Slime pressed a key card to the glass elevator at the center of the casino. They were going all the way up the casino to the last floor, which he noted wasn’t accessible by customers, hence the key card. Slime led him to the end of the fancy hallway. The doors opened to the man who led the cassino being pinned to the desk by a brunette.
“Wilbur!” Quackity pushed him away. “I have business to attend to! Get out!”
The man, Wilbur, left the room through the same entrance Tubbo was standing there, horrified. Quackity coughed, straightening his shirt.
“I apologize for that. I thought we had more time.”
Tubbo laughed. “No worries Bossman. Be who you are, all that.”
Quackity was blushing hard. “Anyways. I wanted to welcome you. And also I feel like I haven’t explained your position here well.”
Quackity picked up a bundle of papers. “You’ll be working as a sort of secretary slash errand boy, much like Slime here. He is going to assist you your first couple of months here and you share an office with him.”
“That sounds good Bossman.”
Quackity looked him up and down. “Now, as much as I appreciate your effort in dressing well, and I understand your financial situation, you’re going to be around me at almost all hours of the day. And I can’t have you looking like that.” He turned to Slime. “Slime, can you arrange with Eret to tailor him to a proper uniform.”
Slime briefly typed something on his phone than turned to Quackity. “They are free right now.”
“Good. Get one of the cars and pay Eret a visit.”
Tubbo interjected. “Sorry bossman, but I can’t afford a tailor right now.”
“Company expense, do not worry.” Quackity shot back.
‘Well that was certainly a first few hours at a new job’ Tubbo thought on the way to the tailor.
He could definitely handle this new job.
–//–
Tubbo most definitely couldn’t handle this.
Tubbo had never been to a tailor before in his life. He assumed it was an easy process, get measurements, get fitted, get out. But it turned out that this was going to take his entire shift. Tubbo stood upright, the tailor, Eret, all up in his grills about how skinny he was, and how it was so hard to get a color match. Tubbo was dizzy from how much they were spinning him on the raised platform. Slime just sat looking at the catalogs, occasionally giving a suggestion.
“Quackity said to dress him in yellow, so as not to confuse with my green.”
“The problem is the yellow. Your green is bright, but not neon. We could have him in a matching saturation so as to not contrast too much.”
‘Yellow?!’ Tubbo thought.
“I think that I have something that matches.”
‘Finally!’ Tubbo sighed.
Eret gave him a bright warm yellow to change into. She seemed satisfied with it. The pants were a simpler affair, Quackity insisting on white. But they ran into the issue with the accessories. Quackity at this point wasn’t satisfied with texting and video called Slime.
“Eret! Me and Slime have suspenders, so should he!”
“Well Quackity, I have the better sense to say that the suspenders wouldn’t accent the outfit.”
“We work at a casino! He has to dress the part!”
“Then it would be too much white you fool!”
“Can’t the suspenders be tan like the belt?!”
“I suppose.”
Tubbo left the store exhausted, but he looked dashing. They drove back to the casino. This time Quackity met them at the door. He looked Tubbo up and down and voiced his approval of Eret’s work. Tubbo sighed in relief. Quackity left Tubbo to what he assumed was important business. Slime showed Tubbo where his locker was. It was a room on the last floor to the side of their office. He gave him a key card and told him not to lose it. Tubbo made a turn to leave, but Slime tapped him on the shoulder.
“Payment for your first day at work.” Slime gave him an envelope.
“But I didn’t do anything.”
“Quackity once told me any self respecting business pays training days.” Slime explained. “Anyways, it’s in cash, Quackity told me you’d prefer it.”
Tubbo got home and opened the envelope.
Tommy opened the door to their home to Tubbo screaming

Chapter 11: Why would you have one secret identity when you could have three.
Summary:
Tubbo has an awful day
Chapter Text
Tubbo was sitting in the living room with Ranboo, both of them were silent. Ranboo sighed, and resigned to start the conversation.
“Do you still want to be a vigilante with me Tubbo?”
“Yes.” Tubbo said, looking down. “I understand what I did was reckless and put us at risk.”
“Why did you do it? You knew we had a steady income from vigilantism enough to buy it.”
“We barely had a supply. And when we had that fight with Swirl, and you got captured, I panicked.”
“I can understand that.” Ranboo got up and left the room.
He came back with a pair of goggles and his jacket. “Let’s go!”
“Wait what?!”
“We still have paint. And Tint and Bubble haven’t been seen in a while!” He leaped to the fire escape.
Tubbo Tint couldn’t stop the smile on his face. He leaped out and joined Bubble on the roof. They patrolled eastside as usual and even stopped a couple of petty criminals. Tint was elated! He felt the wind blow through his hair as they ran across rooftops. Bubble was pretty happy too, laughing along.
Oh if they knew.
–//–
“A fight has broken out between the vigilantes Tint and Bubble at the south border of eastside! Our reporters on the scene cannot identify the other participant however! They have a large barrier of smoke impeding the fight!”
Tommy turned to the TV, he had never seen a Tint and Bubble fight live. Come to think of it, they had been missing for a couple of months. He continued cleanup of the bar as usual, letting the news serve as background.
“We have an update, it seems that the figure is a masked man with a black coat. We have been hearing rumors of such a figure but this is the first time we capture him on live television!”
Oh,
Oh no.
J had been captured on live TV. If he was unmasked his disguise would possibly fall apart. Tommy rapidly moved to watch the TV with his full attention. The pictures of the fight were shaky and blurry, but he could see they were fighting near the bar. Kristin seemed on edge too, but that was probably because the fight was so close to the bar. Tommy had to move things to the back, not allowing his full attention to go to the fight. He came back just in time for the fight to end.
“Yes Robbert it seems the masked figure has gotten away. Now we do not have sights on the two vigilantes but the authorities have gotten here, along with the hero Ace who told our reporter he was nearby the scene and rushed in as soon as he could. Fortunately no one was harmed and-”
Tommy turned out the rest, glad to see another secret of the Syndicate was safe.
Ace was not having that good of a time though. He had to deal with the thing he hated the most when being a hero, pleasantries. The reporters kept asking questions, and he had to answer them exactly as the agency told him to. The perpetrators of the fight were long gone, and no civilians were involved. So there was no reason as to why he should stay.
He got to the tower exhausted, and he still filled out the paperwork. But he didn’t stay long. After all, he still had business to do. But as he made a move to leave the Tower, someone put a hand on his shoulder. He turned around, Dream stood there expectantly.
“Hey, umm, Ace. We’re having a movie night, want to join us?”
Ace pondered and then shrugged, heading up to the common room with Dream. The chatter was insufferable, and the movies were mid at best. But he laughed along and played the character he put out in front of them. When the entire room fell asleep, he made sure, he got up quietly and left the tower. He opened the burner phone in his pocket and called a number.
“Zephirus?”
“Yeah?” The man said sleepily.
“I’ve got a bit of information you’d like to know.”
“And that is?”
Ace put on the mask. :]
“Quackity?”
He smiled behind the mask.
“How would you like to know the identities of Tint and Bubble”
–//–
Tubbo and Ranboo were not having a good time. The masked person had seen their identities. They hadn’t known if the masked person was a hero, villain, or vigilante. They had simply stumbled into them over a person, doing what they suppose was interrogating them. Their best hope was vigilante. In that case they would probably keep quiet. They carefully went about their lives. Ranboo working at the cafe, and Tubbo working at the casino.
“Ranboo?"
Ranboo jumped. “Niki!”
“Chill, you are not in trouble.” Niki chuckled. “Are you ok though? You spaced out for a second.”
“I’m good.”
“You don’t sound like it.”
“Ok, I’m not.” Ranboo sighed. “But I can’t tell you.”
“Was it something illegal?” Niki smirked.
“Maybe…” Ranboo winced.
“Ahh how my crime children grow up.” Niki wiped a fake tear from her eye. “It was just yesterday when you were stealing my display sweets.”
“You told me you were letting me do it!”
“Still.” Niki laughed. “Don’t worry about it Ranboo. If it comes to it, I’ll vouch for you.”
“Thanks Niki.”
Tubbo was not having a better time. In fact, he had a much worse time. Quackity was dragging him around the casino, giving him a harder time than usual. Slime sympathetically smiled at him at the beginning of his shift, before completely abandoning him after Quackity called him privately to his office. Slime said after his shift that Quackity needed something to be done on the other side of town. Tubbo was now looking around for a dude named Phil. He stood at the entrance, scanning for a phil face. He was so focused, he didn’t notice said Phil tapped him on the shoulder.
“Are you Tubbo?”
“Yes.”
“I was told you would lead me to Quackity?”
“Ah! Are you Phil?”
“That’s me mate.”
“Follow me.”
He texted Quackity that he found Phil. The man told him to hurry up. Tubbo took the man to the elevator. Phil was looking at him, Tubbo shyly looked away.
“I was told you met Wilbur your first day here.”
“Uhhh! Don’t remind me of that!”
“Hahah. I knew something like that was going to happen at some point, but not so soon.” Phil laughed.
“Wait! How do you know Wilbur?”
“I’m his dad.”
Wait. A Wilbur, with a dad named Phil. Where had he heard this before? Tubbo and Phil entered the office. Quackity was sorting papers at his desk.
“Quackity! How are you?”
“Well, how are the boys?”
“Techno’s been looking for a fencing partner. Perhaps you could join him some day.”
Wait. Techno. Tubbo thought. A Wilbur, a Phil, and a Techno.
“WAIT! Do you know Tommy?”
“Oh! Kristin’s Tommy?” Phil answered.
“Yes! He’s my roommate!” Tubbo exclaimed!
“Well that’s a pleasant coincidence.” Quackity said. “Tubbo, could you excuse us? We have private business to attend to. Go check on the patrons.”
Tubbo left the room and smiled.
Ohhh he’s sooo telling Tommy about Quackity and Wilbur.

Chapter Text
Tommy was laughing his ass off. Wilbur had come into the bar with the reddest face imaginable, and Tommy immediately knew what was up. Tommy wasted no time in preparing his spot at the bar. Wilbur sat and drank his water.
“Umm. Tommy. There is someone coming by in a minute, they’re just outside.” Wilbur stuttered.
“Who’s the lucky lady?” Tommy smirked, “Or should I say, fella.”
“Wait, WhAT!” Wilbur screeched. “How did- I mean, what. Well, yes. But it’s not like that!”
“It’s no problem, big man.” Tommy laughed. “Be who you areeeeee-”
Wilbur put his hand over Tommy’s mouth “Shuttt.”
It was then that a man entered the bar and sat right beside Wilbur. “Ah, so this is the Tommy I heard about.”
“Pleasure to meet you big man.” Tommy offered his hand.
“Pleasure to meet you too.” He shook his hand.
“Sure thing, I was just telling your boyfriend that he shouldn’t be asham-”
Wilbur glared at him. Quackity blushed at the mention of a boyfriend.
“Ah, so I see Tubbo has told you.” He stuttered.
“Everything” Tommy smirked.
“It wasn’t anything like that.” Wilbur defended.
“Wilbur.” Quackity said.
“Um, yes.”
“Enough.”
And so the matter dropped. A couple hours passed, Quackity asking the occasional question about his life. Wilbur eventually got up, saying the two of them had business to attend to. Tommy, of course, teased the man about the ‘business’ he had to do with the other man. The rest of his shift was relatively normal.
On a nearby rooftop Siren and J sat at a ledge. They said nothing. J had his full disguise on, after all, who they were about to meet couldn’t see him. The two heard a pair of very silent footsteps. A figure sat beside them, their face obscured by a white circle mask. They pulled out a file off their backpack, giving it to the two villains.
“This is all I could find at the Tower. Although I did see that one of them might contain another location you all could search.”
“Thank you, Nightmare.” Siren put the file in his trenchcoat. “And in return?”
“Keep the kid safe.”
“Nothing else?”
“No. That's all I ask.”
Siren nodded and left, but J stayed. Nightmare looked at him expectantly, but the man only looked forward. Nightmare eventually left, leaving J behind. He sat on that rooftop for only a few minutes before someone else joined him. Zephyrus landed on the rooftop quietly, but didn’t move to sit. J got up from his place over the empty eastside streets, and they both left for their next destination.
Tint and Bubble were patrolling that night. Even with their identities at risk, they couldn’t manage to leave the thrill of heroism. They had just managed to stop a minor villain, and were currently waiting for the police. Bubble however, spotted someone watching them. He discreetly pointed to the roof of the convenience store. Tint also saw the figures watching them, he made it obvious that they had been caught. But the people did not move.
After the police took care of the villain, Tint looked up, and they were still there. Both the vigilantes rounded the corner and got up on the roof via the building next to it. Standing at the roof were Zephyrus and the mysterious :] figure.
They were fucked.
But before they could make a move to leave, Zephyrus spoke.
“Tint. Bubble. Pleasure to formally meet you.”
“Umm” Tint stuttered. “Nice to meet you too, sir?”
“I suppose by the presence of my friend here you already know what this is about.” Both the vigilantes swallowed. “I am here with an offer.”
“Wh-what is it?” Bubble said.
“This is a formal invitation to join the Syndicate.”
“What! We’re not villains!” Tint got ready to fight.
Or to run.
“I believe you misunderstood. The Syndicate is made of villains, vigilantes, and heroes alike!” Zephyrus explained. “You would do as you are, and us as we are.”
“How are you benefiting from this then?”
“You see Ranboo . The Syndicate is here to uncover something deeper than you could ever imagine. All of the pleasantries are for a common goal.”
“And that is?”
“Toppling the corrupt hero organization.” Zephirus said as a matter of fact.
There was a deep silence in the air.
Ranboo and Tubbo shared a look.
“If you need time.” Zephirus said. “I understand.”
Tubbo nodded.
“Very well.” Zephyrus flew away.
:] Started approaching them, they flinched, but he simply gave them a black burner phone. The phone had one number registered to it. After that he jumped down to the streets himself. Tubbo and Ranboo sat on the rooftop.
Shit.
–//–
Wilbur was looking over the files dream gave him. At the start they didn’t say anything they didn’t know, powers, physical build, endurance. Definitely proves the kid was involved in some way, but not enough to prove he was part of RAISE. That was until Wilbur looked at one of the last files of the small amount provided.
‘Further information on R-20730 is classified.
Alpha access needed.’
That was something. Wilbur noticed there was one more paper after it. After reading it, Wilbur gasped. The file read:
===========================================================================
INCIDENT REPORT
===========================================================================
10 casualties and 12 injuries were reported due to
Subject R-20730’s outburst on [][]-14-[][][][] at 17:04.
The bodies have been reported to have missing
appendages such as [][][][], [][][][], and in one
case their [][][][]. Others standing further away
were only reported to have puncture wounds.
The casualties are to be disposed as to not raise
suspicion of the [][][][][] program.
Injuries are to be reported as lab incidents.
Subject R-20730 is to be retired from the [][][][][]
permanently. Proper nullification procedures
apply. The subject has been sedated and is
awaiting transport.
===========================================================================
END OF REPORT
===========================================================================
There was a note attached to the file.
“I know this is about Tommy.
I was there.
I found him kneeling on the floor
of one of the Tower hallways.
He was covered in blood.
Please help him.”
Wilbur now had plenty of information to go off of. He wasted no time telling Phil and Techno. With this they could prove RAISE existed, and that only the top knew of it. Alpha clearance was only reserved to the director of the Tower commission.
They had a lead now.

Chapter Text
Tommy was planning his debut. The Syndicate was certainly not holding his hand, they merely gave him the resources they deemed necessary and left the rest of the planning to him. Siren told him that his debut wasn’t merely a show of strength. It was an opportunity to teach him about the ins and outs of crime. He had no time to waste, his debut had a time crunch. The schedules that Blade had given him only went up to two months ahead, and he told him that they completely changed rotations every two months. Unfortunately for him, he only got the schedule two weeks into the first month. He only had a month and a half to plan this.
He was writing notes in a small notepad he could hide in his pockets easily. This way, Tubbo and Ranboo wouldn’t suspect a thing. What he had written down was this.
- There was a period between 9 pm and 10 pm where there were no guards near the archive.
- The archives have vents that directly lead to the roof, although separate to the rest of the building to prevent fire and smoke from getting to it.
- There was a direct line to the inner vaults from the ceiling tiles in the outer vaults.
- The archives had easily hackable cameras. (he tried)
- He could unlock the vault via lifting the pins in the lock with wind.
The notebook didn’t stop there, but those were the most important bits. Siren told him to do field research, but he didn’t know how to do anything more than walk around the building at night. The ideal was to get in the building.
He was playing with a small paper airplane, flying it through the room with his powers. He let the airplane rise and fall again. He felt a small tap on his hands as the wind picked up the airplane again. He flinched and let the airplane drop in his lap. Well that was weird. He tried picking up the plane with air again, this time focusing on the plane and the air. The plane rose again, but this time, he could feel the plane in his hands.
He had to test this with something else. He blew a gust of wind towards the wall, again, focusing on the wall. He could feel it. The whole wall. He tried closing his eyes, he wanted to try something. He blew the wind to the wall again. He could see the wall.
He thought for a moment, then it struck him. He could use wind to map the treasury bank. He had to test this theory. He threw on a hoodie and a mask and headed to the building. When he got there he went up one of the buildings behind the bank and sat out of view.
Ok he could do this. He focused on the wind again and closed his eyes. He followed the air into the vent he memorized the location of. Things were a bit blurry, but he could see the shapes of the vents around him. The air went into the archives room. He explored the silhouette of the room, finally having a 3D look into the very important entrance. Unluckily, the sealed door was closed, so he couldn’t move forward. He either had to wait until someone entered the archives, and risk getting caught; Or get out of here and wait until an archivist was on schedule. He decided to leave.
But this was a lead.
–//–
Tubbo had no leads. No information, no rumors, no trace. Tubbo and Ranboo were trying to find out who was behind the mask so they could have something over their blackmailers. But no, nothing. Tubbo was doubled over his computer, he has been for the last two hours. He had to leave for the casino in 40 minutes, he had no time. They both agreed the longer they waited to give the syndicate an answer, the risk of them being exposed was raised.
“Tubbo, you have to start getting ready. You haven’t taken a shower today.”
“No I can’t”
“You’re going to get fired.”
“We have to find info on the sick bastard.”
“Please, we need the job.”
“You aren’t doing anything to make this faster!”
Ranboo went silent.
“What!”
“Why haven’t we considered his offer…”
“I AM NOT WORKING WITH VILLAINS RANBOO!”
“Why not. They said we didn’t have to do anything different!”
“Of course they want us to do things differently!” Tubbo screamed. “They’re villains!”
“But-”
“If you want to work with villains FINE!” Tubbo got up suddenly. “But consider US DONE!!”
Tubbo got his work bag and left the apartment. Ranboo stared at the door and fell to the ground. He quietly sobbed. Anger quickly took over his body. If Tubbo was going to be unreasonable, FINE. He would do this himself. The phone :] gave him was still sitting on Tubbo’s desk. He slowly picked up the phone. He called the only number there. The phone rang three times before someone picked up.
“Hello?” Ranboo asked.
“It’s good to hear from you.” The voice said. “Now are you two ready to answer?”
“Just me.”
“Ah, sorry about that.”
“It's. Fine.”
“Got it. Now-”
Ranboo shook. Was this a good idea?
“When shall we negotiate the terms?”
“Uhh… I have work tomorrow, is it ok for today?”
“It’s not ideal, but it’ll do.” The voice said. “I’ll come get you in at midnight. Have your costume ready.”
Ranboo sighed.
At about 12 there was a masked figure waiting for him at the roof of his apartment building. He had his full vigilante wear on, although he put a hoodie over it, he did not want to be recognized on the way there. Tubbo was still at work and Tommy was passed out on the couch. He approached the figure, who he now recognized as Thanatos. He fearfully swallowed. Thanatos heard him approach almost immediately and turned around.
“Glad to see you, Bubble.”
“Umm, glad to see you too.”
“Thank you. Now, do you know how to move through rooftops.”
“Yes, actually.”
“Good. Let’s go.”
Thanatos turned and ran to jump above narrow alleyways. Bubble followed him through them, trying to memorize the way there. He lost focus on his footing and started plummeting downwards. But then he stopped. Confused, he opened his eyes and he was set gently on the gravel roof.
“You ok?” Thanatos asked.
“Lost my footing.”
They continued along the path to a garage. On the highest floor sat a circle of people. He could recognize two of them as Zephyrus and Siren. He then noticed the two masked figures. One of them was the person who caught them :]. The other was a mystery. He only had a bright green hoodie, and a blank mask. They approached the circle.
“Welcome Bubble, to the Syndicate.”
–//–
Tommy did not like the tension in the apartment today. Tubbo and Ranboo had not gone out to graffiti in two weeks, and now they weren’t speaking to each other. This was making him very stressed, making it difficult to know what to do to get through the main vault door. So he decided to take them out for lunch all together. And he knew the perfect place.
He was really just dodging the issue though.
Tubbo was not having a nice day off. He was still pissed about the whole villain thing. But when Tommy asked him and Ranboo to lunch he couldn’t refuse. Tommy had nothing to do with his anger. So he dressed up and went along.
Ranboo was grateful for the opportunity to talk Tommy had given them. When they got to the restaurant Tommy sat opposite of him with Tubbo at his side. The diner was a nice and small family restaurant. ‘Bad’s’ if he was not mistaken. He was about to speak up when Tommy screamed.
“JAAACK!!!” Both the boys jumped.
“TOMMYYYYYY!!!”
A bald man, Jack, ran towards the table. “SKEPPY I DON’T CARE IF THIS IS YOUR TABLE I AM TAKING TOMMY!”
“Ayup Jack! These are my roommates, Tubbo and Ranboo!
“Ayup.”
“Uhh ayup?” Tubbo hesitantly said.
“So what we will be having today.”
Ranboo spoke up “I’ll be havi-”
“THE SPECIAL JACK” Tommy interrupted with a glint in his eye.
“Sure thing bossman!” Jack rushed away.
“But our -” Tubbo spoke up, but the man was already gone “drinks…”
Silence fell over the table. Tommy hated that his best friends, his family were fighting. So he broke the silence.
“So, Ranboo, did you make any new graffiti this week?”
“What?”
“I saw you going out alone the other day. So can I see?”
“Well, we uhh…” Ranboo tried to come up with an excuse. But Tubbo answered for him.
“We got caught a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to stop for a bit but Ranboo continued.”
“Well you would have too if you weren’t a pussy.” Ranboo bit back.
“I’m sorry I wanted to stay out of trouble.”
“There wasn’t any trouble to begin with. They let us off easy.”
“Yeah but who knows what they will do to you next.”
“Uhh…” Jack was at the table again. “Here’s your food…”
Tommy spoke up for them. “Thank’s Ja-”
“WELL AT LEAST I DID NOT CHOOSE TO LEAVE MY PARTNER!”
“YOU DID!” Tubbo shouted. “You did when you gave into their pressure.”
Tubbo stormed off the restaurant. Tommy tried calling for him, but Ranbo also got up and started to leave. That left him alone at the table. He apologized to Jack and gave him two twenty’s for the chicken and a tip. And chased after them.
Jack however was not a bit shaken. He gathered the plate, and the money and headed to the back room. When he got there he picked up a burner phone and called a number. The person answered.
“Hades? What’s up?”
“Bubble had an outburst today. Fight with Tint. No info leaked though. Big man T might find out soon.”
“Oh this is bad. Let’s keep Bubble out of T’s debut then.”
“Sure.”
On the other hand Tommy was running after Ranboo. He lost track of Tubbo, but he did catch a glimpse of where Ranboo was though. He saw him sitting down at a bench, his face in his hand. He sat next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey. You don’t have to tell me what’s going on, but if you want I’m here to talk.”
“No. I am done keeping this from you. Me and Tubbo should have told you this a long time ago.” Ranboo sighed “But let’s get out of here first.”
On the way home Ranboo texted Tubbo:
‘ I’m telling Tommy. He deserves to know.’
‘fine’
The two got home and the door to their room was closed. One check confirmed it was locked. Ranboo sat on the sofa beside Tommy and sighed.
“I suppose we had to tell you some day.”
“Whenever you’re ready, big man.”
Now or never.
“Tubbo and I are vigilantes.”
Ranboo waited for the screams. But they never came.
“Oh that’s it.”
“Uhh…”
“I mean, I already knew you were up to some shady shit but that’s alright.”
“O-oh…”
Ranboo put his head down.
“The reason we were fighting is because the Syndicate found out our faces, and tried to recruit us.” Ranboo cried “And I accepted the deal… But Tubbo didn’t”
Tommy looked in surprise. Well shit .
“Are- are you a villain?”
“No. They said I could just continue what I was doing. But with the protection of the Syndicate.”
Tommy sighed in relief. “Look, I don’t mind. As long as you are still doing what’s right.”
Ranboo sobbed into his shoulder. Tommy comforted him as best as he could. Oh lord it was hard to keep his own involvement to himself, but he was a villain, and they were vigilantes. He would try his best to protect them within the syndicate. When Ranboo had calmed down a little he pulled away and saw Tubbo standing there. He also had tears on his face.
“I suppose you know now.”
“Tubbo…” Ranboo sighed.
“I’m sorry Ranboo. I wasn’t thinking. I was scared of what the Syndicate would do to Tommy.” Tommy bit a laugh. Oh the irony. “And how he would react if he found out. But now.” He sighed. “I gueeeeesssss I could consider joining.”
“You don’t have to.” Ranboo smiled. “But thank you.”
“Oh you guys.” Tommy squealed. “Come here! Group hug!!!”
They all hugged and cried, and their friendship would live. For now all most of their secrets were out.
And they were happy.

Chapter Text
Tubbo wasn’t really against joining the syndicate.
But he sure as hell was scared to meet them in person.
Ranboo had texted one of the members, he was not sure who, that Tint was willing to negotiate joining the Syndicate. Now they were waiting on top of Kristin’s for a member of the Syndicate to pick them up. He was swinging his legs over the edge while Tint paced the rooftop. They heard a noise behind them and lo and behold, the worst possible member of the Syndicate had come to pick them up.
Thanatos.
Tint swallowed hard, but Bubble simply greeted the member as if it was nothing. Thanatos approached him, Tint could swear his face was pearly white, not that he could see it.
“You ok to jump rooftops?”
“Umm… Yes?”
“Alright, Let’s go.”
They jumped and ran around the city to the familiar parking lot. There most Syndicate members were present. Thanatos briefly spoke to Zephyrus and they commenced the meeting.
“Tint, despite our differences you have come to an agreement.”
“Yes. I do have conditions though.”
“And those are?”
“Keep my roommate Tommy out of this whole mess.” Tint Tubbo spoke. “And no interfering with vigilante business.”
“Sure. All sounds fair. After all, you do have your duties.” Siren spoke up. “However we do have a clause with vigilantes and heroes.”
“And that is?”
“There is business you cannot interrupt. We will warn in advance, of course.”
“Why is that though?”
“There is something much bigger afoot here than petty crime.”
Tubbo thought for a moment.
“Alright”
–//–
Tommy’s debut was coming soon, and he had yet to think of a way to get in the treasury vault. He had one lead, he had been given a schedule of visits. He noticed one thing off about it. There was a name he recognized, Warden. He remembered him as a hero, sure, but there had to be something else. He looked up his name and hero commission. And he found an old article.
‘Hero Warden Enters The Hero Commission Board Of Heroes’
He was part of the board, so the hero commission had to have something in the Treasury they needed taken care of. Like taking payment for heroes. That was it! Tommy would have to infiltrate the vault somehow without alerting them… And exit before they leave…
Without one of the strongest heroes seeing him…
Shit
–//–
Siren knew about the Warden opportunity. And how difficult it would be to infiltrate the vault.
This was his debut. And he had to earn the title of an A tier villain.
However there was something about the Warden’s appearance at the Treasury that interested him. The fact that the Government of the city wire transfers payment. There is no need for Him to visit the building for another reason. He was in charge of the Imprisonment sector, not the treasury.
But he doubts Tommy noticed that.
He would have to personally supervise this heist. He called up Quackity and arranged for them to meet that evening. He also passed up the information to Phil and Techno to see if they had a lead. Wilbur met Quackity in front of Kristin’s and headed on his car to the casino. They went up to the penthouse and Wilbur explained the discrepancy in the information. Quackity looked in his files and came up empty.
“I don’t understand, Why would one of the highest members of the Board go to the lengths of keeping a simple visit to the treasury secret.”
“There is one way to find out.”
“What?”
“Send the kid to steal what they are keeping secret.” Quackity said. “Make it his first job towards our goal.”
“He isn’t ready.”
“I’m pretty sure that if he was in RAISE he can handle himself against heroes.” Quackity shrugged. “He’s likely going to have to fight anyway.”
Siren paused.
“You’re right…”
Quackity walked closer. “I’m always right.”
“We’re not doing this right now.”
“So later?”
“No.” Siren lightly pushed him. “I have to make sure the kid doesn’t die fighting.”
–//–
Tommy had decided on a date for his debut. He had the perfect plan for the heist. He made sure to inform the rest of the Syndicate via Siren, however the message he got was interesting to say the least.
S1r3n: We’ll be distracting the heroes. I’m coming with you though.

Hi,
Sorry this isn’t the next chapter. It’s just a little update.
I currently don’t have access to my laptop at home cause it broke. And i do not write on my phone due to the massive amount of time and energy it takes, and the fact that when i do I leave more grammatical mistakes in because it is harder to recognize them.
So the only time i have to write is at school on my chromebook.
I deeply apologize and i am working on getting my laptop fixed. But this chapter was already going to take me a while because i have, what i think are really cool story beats i want to put in.

Chapter Text
On the day of one of the biggest heists and debuts of SMP, it was raining. Tommy hated that fact, because, on the day of his debut, he had to do laundry. He couldn’t simply tell his roommates: ‘Hey, It’s my supervillain debut, can I not do laundry today?’ . So he resigned and did the laundry in the morning. He took the day off with Kristin, promising to make it up on his next day off. She was understanding, and gave him some of the leftover fries on his way home.
He got to Puffy’s laundromat and put all their clothes to wash. He greeted Puffy who was on her computer doing something or other.
“Sup Puffster.”
“Hello Tommy, what’s up? You usually come by later in the day?”
“I had free time this morning. And I’m hanging out with Will later.”
“Ahh. Well, I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun. Wilbur is a good kid.”
He spent the rest of the time washing and drying watching YouTube. After all of it was done he Picked up the laundry sack and headed home. Was he nervous, sure, but deep down, maybe too deep , he knew he was going to come out on top.
On the other side of Town there was a meeting taking place at an underground garage. After all, the roofs of things are only useful to hide you in plain sight through darkness. The parking garage had one level that was closed down due to accidents with the pillars, so they shut it down. However, the maintenance staircase still existed. The Syndicate met here when they needed to meet during daytime. Zephirus was currently relaying the plan to the members present.
“Nightmare, you made sure you are patrolling around today.”
“Yes.”
“Good, if the Warden steps in I need you to take over.”
“Relay through comms?”
“Yes.” He relayed. “I put Jester in charge of comms.”
“Cover story?”
“Hacked. It’s transparent to the commission.”
“Good. ETA for Eurus.”
“About an hour.” Zephirus said.
Tommy had to pass by Athena before he headed to meet the Syndicate. His costume was kept there due to the roommate's situation, not that he had the chance to use it anyways. He was saving it for today, even though the costume had been done for a couple weeks. Athena greeted him at the door and took him to the back room.
“Here it is.” Athena held up the costume.
It was a red costume with white and gold wind detailings. The faux coat had a white poet shirt attached to it so it just went over his head like a T-shirt. It was heavy though, from what he supposes is armored material. The pants were just reinforced dress pants with cargo pockets. The whole outfit had wind engravings, on the trim of the coat and on the sides of the pants.
Tommy put on the outfit just to test it out and it was perfect. Everything fit snugly so his movements were not impaired, and the whole thing was beautiful. Athena smiled at his reaction to the outfit.
“Do you like it?”
“Do I- Of Course!” Tommy stuttered. “This is awesome.”
“Well I’m glad.” She Picked up a couple of small bags from a desk. “Here, these are med kits. Bandages, alcohol and gauze.”
“Whoa!”
“Siren told me to give them to you. I recommend separating one pocket for them.”
“Thank you!”
“You’re welcome,” He said. “Now pack everything up and run along. You are almost late.”
“Oh shit yeah.” Tommy folded the clothes into his duffel bag. “Thanks Athena!”
He ran out the door and took the bus to the nearest stop to the parking garage and disappeared in an alleyway, to the maintenance door no one used. He ran down the steps and pulled the pins in the door open with his powers. He made sure to lock it again and ran to the figures standing at the other end of the lot.
“Sorry I’m late, I had to wait for a bus.”
“It’s alright Eurus. We are still one hour ahead of schedule.” Siren said.
“Alright do we have everyone here?” Zephyrus said, looking up from his phone. “Alright, Eurus, relay the plan.”
–//–
Tommy Eurus landed on a building nearby the treasury. He tried to keep low to the ground so he wouldn’t catch anyone’s attention. Siren landed beside him, fully upright. Tommy whispered from the ground:
“Siren! What are you doing?!”
“Eurus, if anyone looked up in this city we would have been found out years ago.”
“Oh.”
Tommy stood up and blew a gust of wind to clean the dust off the suit. Wincing when some of it got in his eye. Siren simply laughed. They continued walking in the direction of the Treasury. When they got to the tallest building next to it they enacted the plan.
While Eurus couldn’t make people fly with his powers he could make a fall slower. So he took a deep breath, and they floated right to the spot they cleared atop the building. It wasn’t a long glide, only a narrow street away. But the thought of being seen made Tommy's stomach turn. The two of them landed without any troubles and started their plan.
Eurus set himself right next to the air vent that led to the main building and used his powers to map the area today. The Treasury was mostly empty, not a particularly busy day. There were an abundance of guards however, and they knew what they were there for. Eurus had memorized their schedule and the opportunity to strike. After the main building was mapped he set himself next to the opening they would enter by, The Archives. Tommy ended up choosing this entrance in place of the main building because it gave him access to the corridor deep in the building where the treasure money was. But not only the money.
Siren however was setting up a remote EMP. Their plan B, in case anything went wrong. It would turn off the lights for a minute before the emergency lights kicked in. It would also disable the hero buttons across the building. After he set it up he waved tommy over o the archive vent and asked:
“You ready?”
“Yup.” Tommy took a deep breath.
“Alright.” Siren turned on his comms mic. “Syndicate. Liven up.”
Eurus was rushed into the vents with Siren following closely behind. They got to the dropdown point and Eurus used his powers again to check for guards, thankfully there were none at the moment. He turned on his comms mic and said.
“Eurus to J clear cams.”
After a few moments J replied. “J to Eurus you are clear for cams.”
Eurus and Siren dropped into the archives carefully and using Eurus’ powers to not make a sound. They sneaked around the tall cabinets and up to a maintenance door. Tommy spoke again onto the microphone.
“Eurus to J clear door.”
After way too long Eurus asked again.
“Eurus to J, can you clear door.”
J responded. “This door is under maintenance in their systems. Requires higher clearance than I have.”
“God damn i-”
They heard another door open. The main door. They could faintly hear people talking.
“Warden, I assure you we can find those records somewhere here.”
Shit .
Eurus Tommy panicked. They weren’t supposed to encounter him this early. Siren quietly shook him out of the panic. Pointing at the double doors. They were open. And they were empty. Tommy Eurus nodded and they sneaked past the door and down the hallway around a corner. Eurus breathed a sigh of relief and they continued down the hall. Tommy had memorized the way, so he was leading them. Although Siren wasn’t clueless, he had an idea of where they were going.
They got to a set of metal doors. The doors to the vault. And this is where they would enact the plan. They hid themselves behind a set of maintenance doors. And they waited. While they waited for whatever business the Warden had to do at the archives, Siren was on his phone. Tommy looked over his shoulders and saw the Archives cameras. He whispered:
“Aren't those looping?”
“J reversed the Looping as soon as he saw the warden approaching.” Siren whispered. “What I’m trying to do is find out why he is here.”
“Ohh.”
“Here, Listen.”
The comms beeped, and he connected to Siren’s phone. He could hear very muffled voices through the cameras.
“I’m sorry sir. It appears that someone signed out these documents.” The clerk spoke.
“Who?” The Warden answered.
“We do not know.” He said. “The record says it was an anonymous sign like yours.”
“God damn it why didn’t ############” The Warden shouted, and the mic cut off. When the mic came back he was speaking at a more normal tone. “I’m sorry, we can head to the vault now.”
The pair walked out of the range of the cameras, that was their sign. Siren disconnected comms and put away his phone. The pair could hear footsteps come closer, and closer until they stopped. Their shadow, visible through the door. They heard a click, and the sound of a door’s hinges. More footsteps, walking away from the door. Siren opened the door as silently as he could and whispered:
“Go!”
They walked in quickly, the door shutting behind them. Eurus hid away in a row of lockboxes behind the ones he saw the hero go through. Sired did not follow him, but after the hero. Before he could question it J answered in comms:
“Eurus, The Syndicate has business with the Warden. Do what you have to do.”
Eurus shook away the confusion and searched the room with his wind again. You see, he learned he could read braille with his wind. He searched for the very specific pattern of dots.
Unfortunately for him, he saw the pattern took him in the direction Siren had just gone.
Of course.
Eurus contemplated. He could risk getting caught, or steal something else. But then he remembered the exact reason he chose that lockbox.
–//–
5 days earlier.
“Tubbo, why did you choose to join the Syndicate?”
“What do you mean Ranboo?”
“I mean, you didn’t have to.”
“Well… I sort of had enough of heroes.”
“Why? You love heroism.”
“I sorta went to patrol after I left work. And a hero went out of their way to hurt me after I stopped a robbery.” Tubbo spoke. “I was already injured, and they chased me through half of eastside.”
“Why?!” Ranboo spoked, confused.
“Before he tried to get me he said something like, ‘If I catch one of the major vigilantes around I will surely get promoted off of eastside duty.’” Tubbo sadly whispered. “That’s when I knew the hero commission has no care for the poorer people of eastside.
Tubbo and Ranboo hugged each other, quietly. Little did they know, Tommy was listening, oh was he listening. He sent a text to Siren, saying he had a specific target at the vault.
He was going to make them pay.
–//–
With a new burst of courage he ran towards the other side of the Room, and up one hallway before the one the lockbox was in. He ran all the way up and sat right where the row ended. He focused on the air around him and saw Siren following close behind the Warden. They stopped right before the hallway ended. Eurus panicked, but what he had not noticed was a stairway blocking their view. Siren however, ever the helpful bastard gave him a sign, and pointed towards it, he felt his movement and noticed the thing that saved his plan.
He carefully rushed towards the big lockbox across from the hallway, opening it with his powers as he went. He took the big burlap sack out of his back, I know, cliche right, and opened the lockbox. He took as much of the cash stored inside as he could fit in the bag. He was right about to close it when he heard something.
“Siren. Whatever are you doing here today I suggest you to stop.”
Fuck.
He had to run. He closed the sack and hid behind the other row again. Heavily breathing, he kept his focus on the People right behind him. Siren had dropped the hidden stance and confidently stood.
“I… Am after what you are doing.”
“You shouldn’t put your nose in this.”
“Oh, no. It is very much my business. And I think,” He stepped closer, the Warden summoned his trident. “You should step away from the box before you get hurt.”
Before the Warden could react, he was stepping away, and Siren was grabbing the papers inside the box and shoving them in a similar bag. He ran towards Eurus, and pulled him upright.
“RUN!”
They ran through the vault, and down the main hallway heavy footsteps following them. Siren took something out of his pocket and pressed the button on it. The lights shut off and siren pulled him into a hallway and up a staircase, much like the one that saved him before. They got up into the ceiling and shut the entrance behind them. Eurus recognized this, these tiles lead back into one of the minor vaults, ones they could hack. Siren follows Eurus the vents to where he knew an unused vault was.
“J can you open vault number 404.”
“On it, Eurus.” J answered. “Got it, it should be unlocked.”
They fell into the vault and tested the door, it opened. They ran out and to the main exit, the vault hallway was compromised. They opened the doors to the main floor and Eurus shouted:
“NOBODY MOVE!”
Panic set on the lobby.
“I SAID-” Tomy lifted up his hands and a shockwave fell over the lobby, knocking all of the citizens. “Nobody moves.”
The people were quiet all over the hall. Siren waved to the door. They started walking out, they were halfway out the door when they heard the bank alarm. In a fit of anger Eurus located the person at the button and willed a gust of air through his chest. Siren looked at him.
“He moved.” Eurus shrugged.
They were interrupted by a door bursting open. The Warden. He ran towards them, Trident in hand. They ran out of the door running away from the Treasury. Siren shouted into the microphone:
“EMERGENCY EVAC, HOSTILE COMING!”
Eurus was running for his life. The Warden was right on their tail. Eventually they got to the corner of the city where the rest of the Syndicate was fighting the Dream Team. Dream was fighting Thanatos, Zephyrus was fighting 404, and Hades and nemesis were fighting Flame. The moment the two were in their line of sight Thanatos started targeting the Warden. The Warden stumbled back and the two started fighting. Dream then flew towards the debutante, looking for a fight. Eurus didn’t know, but Dream was not meaning to capture, he was a distraction. Meant to take the Warden’s eyes off of them.
Eurus however didn’t know, so he started trading blows. His powers were not good for close range. The most he could do was make large punches of air, but those carried less energy. So the only thing he could do was fight hand to hand. They were waiting for the evac signal. However with Zephyrus busy with 404, they were limited on running. Fuck. Dream’s punches hit like a truck. He had no choice. He started running in the other direction.
He put a safe distance between him and Dream when he turned and shot a blast of air into every hero's thighs. He shouted:
“EVAC NOW!”
All Syndicate members got the message and turned to flee into the city skyline. Eurus climbed atop a nearby building’s stairs. Siren was waiting for him on top of the building. He’d done it. His debut was a success, and he built it himself! Siren gave him a pat on the back and they turned to leave. Tommy started running away when he heard the Warden.

Ps. This was last updated a year ago in feb 2023 no allegations had come out then, i was new to the fandom, and dont use twt! I hold a soft spot for this fic so i will be continuing it occasionally because i want to see this one through. Think of it as my goodbye letter. For my closure and yours.
Notes:
I will be writing this with the perspective of when it was intended to be read. Fall 2022. No bias for or against anyone. I had a plan for the characters and where they were supposed to end up. All good guys and bad guys are not going to veer rapidly due to my opinion on their real life content creators. Nor will i be referencing qsmp as i did not watch any of that content and left the fandom before that.
Treat this as a period piece.
