Chapter Text
It was an unfortunate accident. One that had Shoto worried beyond belief for his loves. A small burst of fire puffing at his hand. For Izuku and Katsuki's hands were stuck together courtesy of Mineta's shitty aim.
"Where the fuck did that shitjuice stain go!? I'll kill him!" Bakugo roared, enraged, a melted purple goop(formerly one of Mineta's pop off's) coated over his and Deku's hands. The rest of the class was in a scramble. Some rushed for safety. Others rushed to get a teacher as quick as they could. Some even went to get recovery girl as if she would be in any capacity to help with this problem or maybe that was just in case Bakugo found Mineta. The only one who stayed near was the two's concerned boyfriend, Todoroki Shoto.
"Calm down, Kacchan." Deku pleaded with his enraged boyfriend. "This was an accident. I'm sure of it."
"I don't give a damn! You're the last person I want to be stuck with! This is dangerous Damnit! Why couldn't it have been icy hot?" Kakashi grunted with effort as he tried to break away from Izuku. He leaned away, but the goop conjoining their hands merely stretched and they were forced to bash into each other.
"You'd rather be stuck with me?" Shoto blinked at Bakugo as him and Izuku straightened. "I find that hard to believe. You love us both equally."
"It's not about love you moron! It's my fucking quirk!"
Deku froze his eyes widening. Wait a minute-Kacchans quirk. Oh crap. He looked down at their conjoined hands. His eyes trembled as he realized just what Kacchan was saying. The fact that they were stuck together wasn't the real problem. It was Kacchan's sweat. His quirk. The longer this melted muck was on their hands the more sweat would build up underneath until...both their arms blew off.
"Least if it was you're right side you could cool things down in there. But this gunk has a tight seal. Your ice won't slip under. Since it's 'Zuku's hand...things are only going to get hotter in there."
"Yeah..." Izuku braced a hand on his arm. "I can feel it already. It's like wearing gloves in summer. Using my quirk to break this til it snaps is out of the question too. If the one for all lightning sets off the sweat-"
"Don't even talk about it." Bakugo looked at him sharply. "We have to fully control our quirks right now. One mistake and we both could lose a limb."
"I know, sorry Kacchan."
"Let's try not to get ahead of ourselves." Shoto
looked between them. "Mineta's pop off usually only lasts a few hours and Izuku's fast. The second he feels it start to give way he can bolt out of firing range and you can cut loose, Kat."
"If it plays out like that." Katsuki replied. "Case you haven't noticed this isn't diaper boys usual sticky mess. Who knows how long this shits gonna last."
"Kacchan's right. Nothing we know about this can be certain. The second Mineta's ball met Ashido's acid the quirk underwent a chemical reaction which caused the goopey mutation seen here. It'd be fascinating if it wasn't so scary."
"So what do we do then?" Todoroki wondered. "Just wait? What if I can freeze it from the outside? Could you blow it to pieces then?"
"Can't do that without burning Deku." Bakugo denied. "Besides, it could just stretch and shatter the ice off. That's probably not going to work. I don't want Deku's hand to get mangled up stuck in this shit."
"I've had worse, Kacchan." Izuku swallowed. "Recovery girl can patch me up after we're free. Let's just try it. The longer we wait the more the nitroglycerin is going to build and then-."
"Shut up. We're not doing something that could hurt you. Don't care how fast you'd heal from it."
"But-"
"I'm not using my quirk when your hands in the blast range, Izuku. Forget it. It doesn't matter if you can take it. I can't."
Izuku's eyes widened. "Kacchan..."
"We'll find another way to get out of this." Bakugo looked down at their encased hands. "We have to."
Of course, in typical future big three problem children fashion-it wasn't going to be easy.

In processing my grief for my deceased pet, I fell back into BNHA. Which used to be a real comfort show of mine to say the least. So I decided to make a couple short fics for my fave mha boys. Used to ship todobakudeku like crazy Soo enjoy the polyness. 😁✌️
