There was a time when Takeru thought he would never find his other half. He had always been told that he would know when he met them, that it would be like meeting a part of himself. But as he grew older and met more and more people, he began to doubt that he would ever find that special someone.
Until one day, he met Kiku. It was like looking in a mirror. He felt an instant connection to her, as if they had known each other their whole lives. They talked and laughed easily together, and it felt like he was coming home.
Takeru can't imagine his life without her. She was his best friend. Wherever life took them, they would always be together. One day, he gathered up his courage and asked her out on a date. It was nothing too fancy. It was just going to be a nice walk in the park. He told her where to meet him so they could get started on their date.
He sat on a park bench, waiting for her to show up. He was fidgeting with his hands, and he couldn't help, but feel a bit anxious. Suddenly, he felt someone touch his hand. He looked up and saw a beautiful girl with long dark blue hair as she looked at him with a gentle smile.
"Hello, Homura-kun." Kiku said softly.
"H-Hello Kiku-chan. Are you ready for our date?" Takeru stammered.
"Of course." she stated.
"That's great. I know a nice romantic spot where we can have a picnic." he replied.
He got up from his seat as the two of them held each other's hand. In that moment, Takeru saw a glimpse of his future. He saw himself happy and in love with Kiku. They both smiled at each other, knowing that they had found the love of their life.
