There was clacking going down the hall.
War boots.
A young girl with auburn red hair tied up into a high ponytail walked down the hall in her captain behind her and the household butler in front of her. Her mismatched gray blue and amber colored eyes stayed forward while her captain looked around the halls. The girl gave a sigh and shook her head as the captain looked at all of the old paintings. There was something wrong here, she was sure of it.
The butler entered through a pair of large wooden doors, adorned by iron hinges and very old looking handles. He stood straight and said, "Sir Hellsing, the major is here."
"Well, let her in Walter." a woman with platinum blonde hair, light blue eyes, wearing round edge glasses and a business man's attire said. Walter nodded and opened the door wider before the young auburn redhead walked into the room while her captain shut the door behind them. "You must be Tanya von Alder, correct?"
"Ja?" the young female said with a tilt of her head, the ponytail moved along with her head as the captain asked, "Do you know what she said?"
"No, can you-"
"Nein, nein. I'm just playing." Tanya smiled with a wave. "This is no laughing manner. Are you the girl or not?"
"Nicht? Nicht?!" Tanya asked before standing up straighter than she had been before. "I assure you. I am the major." Walter smiled and looked at the platinum blonde, who only nodded. "I see." Tanya's captain looked at the nearest wall before humming at the sight of a large shadow and pointing at it. "What is it?"
"That," the woman said with a sigh, "is Alucard."
"Who are these lovely ladies, Master?" Alucard said, stepping out of the wall and towering over the captain. His red coat matched his eyes perfectly. "Vat are you talking about?" Tanya wondered, slightly turning to him.
"And the young one is German. Oho!" Alucard grinned wildly upon hearing the young major's accent. Tanya sighed again and asked, "Und?"
"What other languages do you know?" Walter asked suddenly, the major turned to him and said, "I'm learning French. I already know German, Englisch und Romanian."
"Romanian?" the woman sitting at the desk wondered, Tanya nodded. "Ja, Herr Hellsing."
"Walter never told you-"
"Your name? Of course nicht. I found zat out for Meine-self." Tanya said with a smile. "Und, the vampire ist a nice touch. Very gut."
"Major?" the female captain behind her whispered, making the young girl hum. "Be careful of what you say." the young major scoffed. "Ich bin, Captain Anderson." the captain nodded and stood up straight before Tanya spoke again, "Terribly sorry about the captain. She's never been to London before and it's making her antsy."
"What do you need?" the Hellsing said, the young Major said, "I vill need a few men, more preferably," Tanya walked up to the desk and put her hands on it, Walter tensed while Alucard grinned, prepared to attack if needed. "A few of your men zat are mages." she hissed out the word 'mages' like it was alcohol burning her throat and tongue. Sir Hellsing looked at her and asked, "How old are you?" Tanya tilted her head. "Vat type of screwed up quvestion ist that?"
"I'm just wondering how old you are." the Hellsing clarified, the young girl nodded and said, "Vierzehn."
~Alucard's POV~
'This girl's only fourteen and running a company all on her own. I wonder how smart she is.' I thought, grinning like I normally do. My Master nodded and said, "It shall be done then, Miss Alder."
"Danke." Tanya said in her German accent, I smiled as I finally remembered who she was. Ah, 1992. It was one of the funnest years and the first time I've met a redheaded German girl, she was only seven at the time and it was only September 13th at 9:31 pm.
"Alucard will help you with them." my Master said, Tanya shook her head. "Nein," she looked back at me before smiling. "I have a better idea for him." she turned her gaze back to Integra and said, "Meine captain vill take care of his needs for the time." I grinned as my Master nodded with a sigh. "How will you handle your men then?"
Tanya hummed. "I vill do vat ever it takes to make them into tip top shape."
"Good, then it's settled." Master said with a small unidentified smile, Tanya backed away from the desk and turned back to the captain, who gulped nervously. I chuckled before Integra said, "Go ahead then." Tanya took a bow as Integra sighed. "Dismissed."
The girls turned and went out of the door, I caught Tanya by the arm and said, "Good luck." she nodded and left after I let go her arm. What an interesting girl.
~Tanya's POV~
I vas outside with a few new men and women trying to hand them orders. I was suited up and all because of vat ve needed to do in the first place.
"I vant that entire sky filled vith mages, men!" I yelled, everyone was either looking at me, terrified or they were excited. As soon as I took to the air, everyone else, including Meine actual company, took to the air. Meine captain was the only one who remained on the ground just in case, vich really helped.
"So, what's she doing now?"
I vas trying to teach these little pups how VAR vorked and they weren't really helping me. I have yelled at them more than once today. "Men! Ready!" the new mages and the company aimed at the targets made specifically for Meine company to have target practice. "Aim!" zhey started using either Heavy or Light Artillery spells. "Use the Light Artillery spells!" I yelled once more before all of them switched to Light Artillery and aimed at the targets. "FIRE!!" I yelled one last time before everyone fired at the targets, I vatched as blue colored bullets hit the targets in a small barrage before the gunfire ceased. I vatched as smoke rose up from the targets before I yelled down to any soldiers, "Ve are no longer live!"
The soldiers came over and looked closer at the targets before starting to talk. "Lant!" I ordered, the men and women nodded and landed on the ground, still in their ordered lines. "Gut!" I said as I finally landed on the ground, a pair of strong arms wrapped themselves around me as a Romanian accent, a very light Romanian accent, randomly spoke.
"That was perfect, Little Major~" they said, I grinned and asked, "Really zen, Mister Țepeș?~" he growled and said in Meine ear, "I would be careful with that name, Little Major." Alucard was dangerous as fuck but I didn't care at this point, I turned around and gently sunk the bayonet into his body vith a grin. "I barely care, Drakula."
He grabbed the gun and drove the blade deeper into his body, making me come closer. "Are you so sure of yourself with me?" he growled, I kept Meine grin and chuckled. "Of course." he scoffed as I got the blade out of him, he gave a low growl as it vas removed. Meine company looked at us as one of our scientists came out to us and yelled. "Major!"
I sighed. "Ja?"
"I have it!" he yelled, I turned to him and hummed. "You have it?" he nodded again and took out this obsidian black and ruby red Operational Orb. "I have it."
"Gut. This is perfect." I said, taking Meine orb off and handing it to Meine captain, who carefully took it from me and backed away. The man handed the new orb to me before I put it on and put Meine goggles on. "Ready?" I asked, he took a device out to check if it was stable before nodding. "You can--"
I instantly took to the air vithout a second thought and started climbing in feet and speed.
"Tanya, the speed is getting to an extent!" the man yelled through the communication device as I continued to climb higher. "I barely care anymore, you of all people should know zat."
"Tanya, it's getting unstable!"
I continued on Meine course as I reached Meine max speed as to not blow any circuits in the propeller on Meine left foot as I reached about around 35,000 feet in counting so I put Meine mask on and continued to fly upward.
"Tanya!"
I kept flying. 'Zhere's no turning back now.' I thought as I continued upward, slightly losing Meine balance as I vent. The air vas enough for me to go a bit faster until I reached a certain height.
"Tanya! You've reached 75,000 feet!"
I grinned and nodded. "In zat case, Meine vork ist complete." I said before flying down to the ground. Once I had landed, the scientist came up to me and said, "Major Tanya, that was one of the most dangerous stunts you've pulled! What were you thinking?!"
"I vas testing somesing for the damn vampire, should I ask permission next time to go 'zat high'?" I snapped before Valter valked over to me and said, "Major Tanya, Sir Integra wishes to see you." I nodded and sighed vith a smile. "Beats being scolded like a damn child." I valked back vith him to the manor and through the halls up to the large century doors. Valter gave a knock.
"ENTER!" someone called through the door, giving Valter permission to open it. Sir Hellsing vas facing avay from us as ve entered.
"Hello, Major Tanya." the woman said vith a sigh. I valked into the large office and saluted. "Sir Hellsing."
"There's something I meant to ask you," she paused to turn around before putting her elbows on the desk and lacing her fingers together. "Will you want to go with Walter, Alucard and myself to take care of a problem?"
"Vat problem?" I asked. "Just out of pure curiosity."
"In a few hours we need to test if Alucard's Operation Orb can take care of ghouls and vampires quickly." Sir Hellsing said, looking at me from vhere she sat.
"Let me guess," I took a few steps forward before stopping with Meine back straight and Meine hands behind it. "You vant me to teach the poor guy how to use it." she nodded. "That's exactly it. So, will you?" I sighed and nodded slowly, she gave a smile and said, "Excellent! Thank you, Major." I nodded and sighed. "Ist zere anysing else you vant me to do?"
"No, that'll be all for now." Sir Hellsing said, I nodded and looked at her. "Ven vill zis be done zen so I know ven to be ready."
"Tonight."
~Later that day; Nighttime~
~Tanya's POV~
I vas flying in the air a few feet above ground all the while Alucard, zat badass vampire, killed ghouls on the ground.
"Little Major?"
I hummed. "Ja, Alucard?"
"How do you use the Artillery spells again?" he asked. I sighed and stopped in midair before saying, for the seventh time tonight, "You use the Operation Orb you acquired and take aim," I paused to hear his Casull charge vith the power of the orb before saying, "Gut, now, if you vant the Gospel Artillery to kill zem easier zen you pray to the Lord." he gave a small scoff. "If you vant the Heavy Artillery, zen you go for more villpower and if you vant Light Artillery zen you use less villpower."
"Alright." Alucard replied, I nodded and started flying forvart before aktivating Meine Gospel Magic and flying forward.
"Tanya," the scientist said through the communication device, I hummed. "Yes?"
"Your Operation Orb is a little unstable." he informed, I sighed and slowed down a bit before stopping at Alucard's voice.
"Little Major, there's a girl at the age of about twenty years of age, has blonde hair and wears a police uniform."
"I sink I've found her." I replied as I sped up Meine pace a bit to see vhere she vas headed, Alucard chuckled and said, "I can see you." I vas now very confused so I turned a bit before slowing down, Alucard had been valking right behind me before I shook Meine head and sped off after the girl once more, stopping at the edge of the forest and looking closer with Meine Observation Formula as well as Heat Detection to check it.
"I've found that zere are only the girl and a few ghouls," I informed, he hummed. "As in?"
"Zhere are about one thousand of zem." I clarified, I could hear the grin drip off of his lips as he said, "This is why you're useful." I scoffed and growled, "Sure I'm useful to a vampire."
He chuckled and walked forward before I said, "Vait, zey're heading outside to the back voods." he paused and looked up at me before I sighed and said, "As in, zey're going into the voods in the very back of the church."
"Thank you once again, Little Major." Alucard said as he started walking back zhere, I shook Meine head and flew to the church before firing at every single last ghoul inside. A few shot back at me but I took care of zem in an instant vithout a second thought, I heard the Casull fire outside as bodies dropped. Meine job vas almost complete, however, Alucard vas still learning how to use the Artillery spells and vould need Meine help.
"Little Major, how in the world did you use this orb?"
Speaking of the Devil himself.
"It all comes vith your physical, mental and emotional villpower. If you can use all three in order to use it, the better off you are." I explained before killing the last of the ghouls and heading out to vatch his performance vith his new learnings. I stopped in midair above him and heard he vas trying to use Gospel spells before a gold outline appeared on the Casull, Alucard started shooting at more ghouls and taking zem out, vhich I vas surprise vith. The vampire freak looked up at the sky and growled, "Fire at the girl!" the ghouls took the order and started to fire at me, vhich didn't vork too vell for zem. Meine shield protected me from their wrath before the gunfire stopped, I grinned. "Meine turn." I aimed and said, "Oh Holy Lord, give me the strength to fight for the Homeland and defeat its foes in one blow." the barrel of the gun, the Mondragón Rifle, lit up in a brilliant gold hue before I said, "Amen." and fired the gun in an instant, taking out a majority of the ghouls and leaving the freak wide open for an attack. Alucard grinned and said, "My Little Major has very good aim~"
I took aim again and said, "Shut it, Alucard." the No-Life King chuckled darkly before he aimed the Casull at the freak and the girl, I vatched from a distance. "I'm going to fire my gun now and the bullet will hit your lungs before hitting the maggot vampire's heart." the police officer vatched willingly before she looked up at Meine floating form and her eyes went wide as she most likely realized my age and vat I vas, she vatched me closely as I scowled at the thing that had a hold of her. Alucard spoke again.
"I know you don't want to die tonight."
The woman looked at him before I spoke, "Vould you vant to come vith us?"
"Now-now hold on." the freak stuttered, Alucard spoke again, "We can't force into this, the decision has to be made of your own will."
"So make the choice!" I hissed out the last part before Alucard gave a small smile as she gave two answers, it's like she knew vat ve vere sinking. Alucard growled with a grin and shot at the two, the young woman fell forward as the freak backed away. I caught the woman as Alucard dispatched of the damned freak, I laid her on the ground and offered her a very small and very uncharacteristic smile. "You'll be fine now." the woman nodded as Alucard came over to us, I got up before she reached out to me but her hand fell. Alucard caught her hand as I launched myself into the air and headed back to base camp.
*Why run, Little-*
"Leave me alone until we get back." I growled at him as I sped up a bit and headed further into the air, continuing to fly away.
~Time Skip~
I vas vaiting next to a tree, it vas calm and quiet until a commotion started. I sighed in annoyance and shook my head a bit.
"Vat's. Going. On?" I asked slowly, trying to calm myself before a woman yelled, "YOU!!" I hummed and looked over with my different colored eyes, noticing the woman that Alucard must've saved. "Und?" I asked in some small annoyance, she tried getting out of the vampire's arms and said, "YOU were the one who caught me like an angel!"
I broke out in a fight of laughter as I braced Meine-self against the tree but I still fell over und continued to laugh. "Y-you thought-" I cleared Meine throat a bit and gave a sigh before getting up. "An angel, huh?" she nodded rapidly before I tried not to laugh again. "R-really?" I stuttered as I held Meine laughter in, she looked confused before Sir Hellsing said, "She's more of the Devil than she is an angel." I snickered at the woman's little mistake before gasping for air, I composed Meine-self and took to the air. "I'll head back." und vith zat, I flew avay, back to Hellsing.
