Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Shopkeeper
Chapter Text
Chapter 1: Shopkeeper and Doctor.
Note: Alright my doods! Here is my first ever pure overlord Fanfiction with an OC MC.
Sure a lot of you would be wondering why I wouldn’t go for a canon MC like Momonga but it’s mostly for the fact that Momonga is an incredibly established MC with little wiggle room to spin his story into a new story.
The reason why I’ve chosen an OC instead of my usual Canon MC is mostly due to having a blank slate to work with.
Having a blank slate to use would be very good to mold the story to how I want it to go plus it would be better to see a more positive karma character to have a spin in the world.
Revan is a Lv100 Divine Cleric Ascended Seraph, I used this build before and it became one of my most favorite builds to do, especially since It’s known more as a Healer/Support build then being frontline like Ainz or some of the NPCs.
And since Revan has 100+ Karma Value, so that will make the series infinitely different from Ainz who had a Negative Karma Value of -500, this will make the series different since a different positive character will be leading the story.
And this story will go different then the usual concept of an OC Player arriving in the new world and tries to take it over, this story however follows a theme of a Ascended Seraph simply trying to focus on building his shop and unnecessary gets himself involved with numerous points that could be considered a hazard to one's health.
Anyway, this story has been made by me and my co author @unlimitedblades and is beta read by my boy @ZergPsycho.
Show this story some love, it’s my first attempt at a pure overlord fic.
——
It was quite odd in a sense within the Re-Estize Kingdom.
Within a relatively middle aged society built up with multiple human societies forming kingdoms while Demi Human and Grotesque Heteromorphic creatures scoured the woods and caves.
Re-Estize Kingdom among the multiple large formed kingdoms of the world, they have a special kind of hate for Magic Casters, Wielders of Arcane energy called Magic.
Since the Re-Estize Kingdoms founding, they always focused on traditional combat such as warriors and the mysterious martial arts that most warriors seem capable of utilizing to enhance there physical traits but there knowledge on the arcane has been declining since a lot of magic casters from all over are starting to congregate in another kingdom called ‘The Baharuth Empire’
However, during one night in the Capital City of the kingdom, a mysterious man wearing odd looking clothing with long blonde hair tied into a birds tail and a face plate that was maroon red in color with a T Visor on it, how the plate remained on the blonde man’s face was a mystery of itself along with cloth wrappings around the head leaving the top of the T-Visor unobstructed.
During that night the masked man arrived, one of the commoners in the poorer district was extremely damaged as she was revealed to be a sex worker in a brothel that was deemed illegal but the masked magic caster appeared and healed her on the spot, said witnesses on the sight.
It was believed by eye witnesses that the masked man was a divine caster who casted a powerful healing spell called ‘Cure Wounds’ to which a few days after, numerous mages of the Guild Association of Magic had deemed that ‘Cure Wounds’ was a Fifth Tier Spell and that had already gotten the whole kingdom in an uproar of a masked individual capable of casting fifth tier magic, said individual had quickly sprung up a commercial store for Magic Items and Enchantments.
Less than a few days, one man has changed certain aspects of a kingdom on the cusp of a civil war.
Within a stone brick shop which has the look of any common items shop any Warrior or magic caster could find.
A young woman with very beautiful golden blonde hair, wearing a maid dress for an odd reason was seemingly sorting magical scrolls into tubs to be placed on one of the many bookshelves.
The blonde woman was named Tsuare, a former prostitute that nearly died on the streets from the extensive damage to her rather beautiful body but in a time of prayer, she prayed for someone to take even an ounce of pity and bring her out of such filth and promised to dedicate the rest of her pitiful life to them.
Such prayers and desires were answered by a masked figure with blonde hair, The former sex worker reached out from the bundle of rags that the blonde was entrapped in to try and grasp the bottom of the man’s pants.
The masked man had taken the woman to his perceived dwellings for the night and healed her with some powerful spell called ‘Cure Wounds’, the blonde caster explained that Cure Wounds was a fifth tier spell that he could utilize along with a myriad of other spells the blonde caster seemed to have knowledge of.
And since that day into the coming few days, Tsuare worked triple hard on assisting the masked man’s goal of setting up a mixture of a Magic Items and Enchantment Shop, along with a clinic that offers extremely cheap healing.
That rumor alone had sent the entirety of the divine church on the warpath and had tried to petition the royal crown to have this heathen removed and killed but the king decreed that there was no laws banning one from practicing healing magic especially since the Masked Man was deemed by numerous people, who watched the blonde man set up signs outside of the building that he currently owns, to be a Divine Caster.
Anyway, the blonde woman in the maid dress smiled as she pushed back the final plastic bin into the shelf to quickly leave the store to face the man that the former sex worker had started working for “Lord Revan! The scrolls had been placed in their assigned spots” she exclaimed with happiness in her voice, having completed one of many tasks that her lord gave her.
The man who is known as ‘Revan’ spoke “Tsuare, what did I tell you about calling me ‘Lord’”
Revan was unique for certain, his outfit consisted of a black skin tight shirt with a comfortable looking black leather jacket with an odd insignia on the back, the pants were grayish combat pants tucked into boots.
The man’s face was covered by his trademarked red face plate with the T-Visor though unlike the Divine Casters first appearance inside the capitol, no face wrap was present to which gave a proper view of Revan’s brilliant golden hair that was tied into a bird's tail.
The blonde haired caster was writing on the final board of the series of chalk boards that was placed on the outside of the stone brick building to which they were.
‘Angelic Magic Shop’
‘Magic Items are stored here’
‘Cheap Items and Enchantments’
‘Enchantments done on site’
And the final board, Tsuare was lucky to have walked behind her master to see the final board which certainly shocked the former prostitute.
‘Free Medical Exams - Medical Treatment, 20 Silver’
“M-My L-Lord?” The blonde maid spoke up which she had elicited a grunt from the masked caster which meant that the maid commoner had the man’s attention to which the woman gulped lightly “A-are you sure about that…price? I-it would disrupt the price market for healing set by the church…”
The masked man snorted as he got up from the wooden chair while placing the white chalk that Revan was writing with into a mysterious black portal “I care little for the unfair pricing set by an organization, do you know what I find repulsive about this kingdom? They are willingly turning away people actually in need of healing for both physical damage, poisons and disease and only seemed to cater those with coin which again, I find repulsive, 25 Gold Coins for a measly Second Tier Healing spell when I can utilize the same healing spell for Tenth of a cost.” Revan lectured the blonde maid about economics.
Then he looked over to Tsuare, she flinched at the sudden gaze that the maid could feel from behind the mask of her new master “Remember this Tsuare, that night I healed you with ‘Cure Wounds’ I told you that I take my duties as a Cleric extremely seriously, if people have a problem then they can take it up to my complaints department” the masked blonde caster exclaimed as he quickly grabbed the chair and hauled it over his back.
Tsuare was worried but equally curious on what this ‘Complaint Department’ was because Revan has shown throughout the few days that the blonde maid had known the Divine Caster as no nonsense, and even lectured a nobleman yesterday about his ignorance and arrogance.
That really made a scene at the market and a lot of people were watching as the noblemen was red faced and embarrassed of being lectured that everyone would call ‘Commoner’
The door to the shop opens again to which the blonde caster entered with the maid following close behind “But Milord, I am only worried for your livelihood, your commotion yesterday with the nobility and disregard of the directed prices of the church…you’ll be making a lot of enemies” Tsuare tried to reason with her lord, worried about Revan.
Revan snorted slightly as he placed the chair by the front door and went behind the wooden counter with numerous knickknacks and items strong around, ranging from mysterious glowing crystals of a variety of colors, large crystal clusters, potions filled with red liquid, green liquid, blue liquid, multi colored liquid and much more.
“My dear, do you believe I’m weak?” The masked caster asked as he turned to face the maid, Tsuare quickly flinched as well as looked horrified at the prospect of her words being misinterpreted as his weakness.
Tsuare quickly shook her head “N-no! That’s n-not what I meant, M-milord! I'm just worried about you…”
Revan chuckled lightly as he bobbed his head slightly “I know what you meant, and I appreciate you for thinking about me but I can promise you…the only thing that can threaten me here is politics, combatively however, no one can compare” Revan informed her because it was indeed true.
Revan was, infact, not of the new world.
Truthfully, Revan was a player from the world of Yggdrasil, a DMMORPG, a massively expanded virtual reality that was really pleasing especially since the world that Revan originally came from was poisoned and dying to which corporations was controlling the world.
Yggdrasil was one of the best virtual reality games that really immersed the players into a world unpolluted, the game of Yggdrasil was modeled after Norse Mythology and had nine virtual worlds that were incredibly expansive, being as large as Tokyo City of Japan.
Revan or his true name Soichiro Kuzuki, played as a powerful Ascended Seraph Cleric, throughout his time in the game was considered by many as a ‘Support/Healer’ which is true but Revan had believed himself to be ‘Well Rounded’ since Clerics in Yggdrasil and DnD, which Yggdrasil took incredible inspirations from, were both physical and magical classes but in Yggdrasil, Clerics were designed to be more magical then physical but some Cleric Classes did supplement the physical weakness though it took a smart person to figure out a sweet spot to have in Cleric Classes to have the immense magical power of a cleric without the close ranged weakness.
Revan did find that sweet spot which transformed his Support/Healer build to a ‘wildcard’ build.
In the final few years of playing the game of Yggdrasil, Revan was technically known as a lone wolf, a solo player, but the masked angel caster had chosen to join up with a relatively known heteromorphic guild called ‘Ainz Ooal Gown’ which was the reformation of a clan named ‘Nines Own Goal’
How the Angel knew about the clan was because he was close friends with the self proclaimed ‘King of the Perverts’ that had been as a member of the guild for sometime so Revan in a time of players waning in the virtual worlds, decided to see what it was like to have comrades and joined up.
Much to the enjoyment of the Overlord Necromancer that was the leader of the guild, Momonga was the player's name and it was ironic.
Overlords were known to be the highest tier of the skeletal undead while Ascended Seraph turned new god were the highest tier of the angels(and essentially God in Angels Case), yet two heteromorphic entities that were extremely deadly to each other were in fact allies for the final few years as they went on self contained adventures together.
When Yggdrasil was shutting down, Momonga only stayed in the guild for sometime but due to time constraint and incredible exhaustion, chose to leave earlier than the undead leader preferred.
Leaving Revan alone to wander the halls, when the time came that the servers will be shut off.
Revan was in the storage room of the guild with two of the NPCs, to simply not be alone since the masked angel couldn’t view himself being alone again after having so many adventures with the Undead Necromancer.
When the shutdown occurred, the blonde man was teleported to an empty plain with the two NPCs, no other NPC came with them for whatever reason so now, those three must survive in the world together as remnants of the great guild of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Tsuare was trying to convince her lord to think about his safety but the door opened to cause the two blondes to look over.
An older man with deep brown hair with a few grays seemingly forming, he was wearing a basic commoners outfit of wool woven shirt and pants.
An older woman that had faded red hair with the same wool outfit was clutching closely a young man that didn’t seem older than 10 that had the same color hair as the father.
“E-excuse me?” The man stuttered lightly towards the masked divine Angel “I-I saw your sign…”
Revan remained silent for the moment then looked at the blonde maid “We will continue this later, now go into the back and retake inventory”
Tsuare simply sighed but nodded then quickly left towards the back room so she may assist the one who’s currently taking the store's inventory but she wasn’t excited for this conversation later on.
“Is it true?” The mystery new world man asked Revan who simply remained quiet for the time “Do you truly give out 20 Silver worth of healing?”
Revan nodded at this level of questioning because many in the new world always seemed to believe that the only true way of healing is through the overinflated prices set by the church “It is, my healing spells is worth 10th of the current cost by the church”
“T-thank you Sir…my son had received a weapons injury sometime ago and we were turned away by the church when we pleaded for aid…they wouldn’t even compromise with scheduled payments or alternate payments” The man has explained his situation while the red haired mother hugged her child closer almost worried about him while the son was gingerly grasping his pathetically bandaged up arm which made the masked caster abit angrily by looking at that shoddy work.
Revan nodded at this “I understand” he said as the red masked caster walks around the counters to walk towards the family “I simply need to investigate the wound to determine the severity of it”
The father seemed to nod at this then gently grabbed his only son to gently push the boy towards the caster who kneeled down to start unwrapping the shoddy made cast and exposed the deep slash wound on the arm.
“How long has the boy been injured?” Revan asked as his gaze on the wound intensified, the bleeding hadn't stopped along with some of the wound looking green indicating infection.
The father seemed to look down for a few minutes thinking “I believe a week since the incident, we constantly tried to plead with the church but they wouldn’t bend” he said.
The mother spoke up for the first time since arriving in the shop “C-can you do anything sir?” The woman pleaded as she couldn’t think of a world where her child died.
“I can, it’s lucky that you came to me when you did, your son's injury is infected and any longer before treatment, he would’ve lost an arm, worst case…death” The masked player exclaimed which caused both new world citizens to flinch heavily as they couldn’t handle their child dying prematurely “But luckily, it’s not up to that stage.”
Revan then placed a hand on top of the brown kid's head causing the kid, after flinching from the cold air hitting his infected wound, to look at the Masked Shopkeeper curiously.
“Heal” Revan has casted one of the stronger healing spells in his arsenal, Heal was a Sixth Tier Spell that could heal a moderate chunk of HP to those who were the target of the healing spell and it removed 1-2 Debuffs randomly and it’s a spell best held when ones in a pinch.
Luckily the damage and the poison/disease would be dealt with simultaneously.
The boy watched in wonder as he saw the wound be enveloped with a warm green glow and sealed itself, the green of the wound was erased as well, with the green glow dissipating shows the wound had been healed.
No pain whatsoever.
“Woooooow!” The boy said while incredibly amazed that his arm wasn’t hurting anymore and actually felt great.
The parents watched in complete amazement of the boy's injury having been healed in a near instant then watched the blonde caster get up from his kneeling position “There we go Kiddo, do try not to get harmed again. Wouldn’t do so well to cause your parents such worry” Revan exclaimed then looked over to see the red haired mother quickly envelop her child while tears ran down her face.
The father looked over with a deeply relieved face “Thank you…you do not know how much this means to us…”
“It’s fine, I do not turn away those in need and I’ll do everything I can to ensure unnecessary losses are kept to a minimum” Revan exclaimed as he scratched the right side of his face in nervousness as he simply said what any common person would do.
The man seemed to smile as he pulled out a sack from his woven pants to try and get out some silver for the payment but Revan raised a hand to the man “First time free” the masked man said, causing the two parents to look at him astonished.
“B-but…I can’t do that!” The man shouted as he pulled out a gold coin to extend towards the man, Revan simply stared at the coin.
“I can assure you Sir…I do not turn away those in need, if I have to open a soup kitchen just to help feed the lesser districts then I will…that’s just who I am” Revan exclaimed, though silently wondering if he was this genuine on his belief of helping others or if it was amplified by his race and Karma Value though deciding not to dwell on it anymore.
The man simply stared in greater astonishment as a man would decline payment to simply help others, this caused the older brown haired citizen to look down while placing the piece back into the sack “You truly are a generous man…But I can’t allow such debt to go unpaid…I’ll think of something to repay you…” the new world citizen said and before he could leave along with his family, he turned to face the masked man who remained still while having the players arms crossed.
“My name is Anzac…I was a former Silver Ranked Adventurer years ago…I’ll be back soon to repay my debt” and like that, he and the woman left with the child while the said boy kept touching the former placement of the wound.
Revan watched with a smile on his face, even if no one could see beyond the red face plated mask but it felt good to the high tier angel to see such a happy family then depression sent in.
The Angel hears footsteps behind him so the blonde caster turned his body slightly to see a dark tanned skinned man wearing jeans, boots, a basic t-shirt and round framed glasses on his face which held a glare that hid the mysterious deep grinned man’s eyes, his hair was gravity defying.
The creature wasn’t wearing his usual red striped suit that was an incredibly powerful item that enhanced the devils abilities, mostly to remain in the view of others as simply foreigners from a land far far west.
Demiurge was the man’s name, a level 100 Archdevil with incredibly disturbing power and one of the two NPCs that came to the new world with Revan “Lord Revan, are you sure it was wise to not take up the man’s attempt to place himself into debt to you? It would’ve gained us a valuable spy”
And he was incredibly disturbing to the masked man mostly because, while the two did differentiate on numerous topics due to there polar opposite races, Demiurge had a maxed out negative Karma while Revan had a +100 on his so both had incredibly different goals to achieve while trying to hide within the new world and integrate with them.
“I’m not putting an innocent family in that sort of danger and besides, with my permanency skill, I can create spies that last indefinitely so that would make human spy’s near worthless to me” The masked caster exclaimed as he started walking back to the wooden counter.
The glasses devil seemed to nod at this “Of course! How clueless of me to assume you hadn’t thought of that! Forgive my ignorance Lord Revan to your grand plan” The creature exclaimed with a rather hideous grin.
Revan doesn’t correct the Arch-Devil most of the time since The Demon was incredibly smart especially with finances as such Demiurge has been assigned to keep a close eye on the store's books, however, Demiurge constantly claimed that he kept misreading some ‘Grand Plan’ that the Angel has in place and connecting dots that don’t exist.
That constantly hit Revan’s buttons yet, no longer caring of what the Arch-Devil was fantasizing about since the Angel preferred to focus on the peaceful life that he’s building “Yeah yeah, how’s the Inventory doing? Are we prepared for enough time to start looking for deals with manufacturers?”
Demiurge seemed to nod at this while pulling out a leathered book, not Human lucky enough, from a black portal which was actually the gateway to a players inventory, Demiurge had his own Inventory though unfortunately couldn’t be enhanced to such a degree that Revan did to his own “Yes Lord Revan, all the sealing crystals will be displayed Tomorrow Morning as per your request, the weakest first to determine the kingdoms economy for magic items, the scrolls of various spells of 5th tier to 7th tier will remain in storage until these ‘Adventurers’ take notice of the shop, low quality health, mana and stamina potions remain on standby if we sell out at any point. And Miscellaneous Items will be restocked if we run out of anything.” The Devil gave his report of the inventory.
Revan nodded at this as he was ready to truly open his shop then spoke “Where’s Tsuare?” The angel asked as he grew to like having the blonde Human maid around.
“She’s currently having Cocytus divulge some of his warrior's stories to her in the back” Demiurge gave the response to his lord's question.
Cocytus was the second NPC to arrive in the new world alongside the Arch-Devil and the Ascended Seraph from Yggdrasil, Cocytus was a Lv100 Ice Beetle who held all of his levels in a mix of Insectoid Racial Classes and Pure Physical Classes.
The Angel nodded at this as it was something for her to do then simply dust and clean the shop, though hoped she did something productive while chatting with the Ice Insectoid in the back “Right, now, go flip the sign Demiurge…The Angelic Magic Shop is now open for business”

Alright my doods! Here is the first chapter of the story and I have to say, I'm quite proud of this as it was my first OC MC story and I did a lot of stories with Canon MCs in a variety of ways.
Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Three Days Later
Summary:
With three days having passed with no customer shown any interest, Revan is starting to grow annoyed and is now attempting to kidnap then bribe a known Vampire Magic Caster to look inside his shop of cheap prices
Chapter Text
Chapter 2: Three Days Later.
Note: Alright my doods, this story is surprisingly well liked which was odd for me since this story is my first attempt at an OC MC Story, as well as my first attempt of a pure overlord story so I’m glad you doods liked it quite well.
Anyway, the idea of including Demiurge and Cocytus into the story isn’t out of some half baked decision to include some aspects of Nazarick into the series but a planned decision that me and Unlimited had chosen.
Cocytus was chosen because he’s hardly ever used in the animal and a large bulk of his abilities is unknown and up for interpretation plus he has no hateful view of humans and he’s a pure physical fighter.
Demiurge is different because he was chosen to have a stark contrasting view of the world compared to Revan, including his race and karma value being a direct opposite though unlike Ainz,
Revan will nip any problems directly in the bud caused by Demiurge before it becomes a moral problem.
Ok, before we move on, Pairing is still undecided but someone recommended Lakyus for romance so I want you guys to think if this would be possible and if possible, give me a detailed reason on why such a pairing would work.
Anyway, I hope you doods continue liking this story.
——
It’s been three days……
THREE FUCKING DAYS!
Since the Angels Magic Shop & Enchantments had opened its doors and no one had arrived to buy any of the low quality, Yggdrasil Viewed, items that Revan wasn’t blinking eyes of parting.
Well except for the middle quality items that were in the back along with a few high quality to even legendary items that made the masked magic caster weep for parting useful items but the divine angel was willing to part with valuable items if it meant striving for his ultimate goal.
An Eternal Peaceful Life, while running a shop.
Sounds ludicrous to anyone that Soichiro Kuzuki was friends with in his life life, a powerful Angel, the pinnacle of the Angel Racial Line and an unsurpassed master of Divine Magic Casting along with being second to one in Arcane Magic Casting, just behind Momonga in Nazarick, was working this hard while selling a lot of his hard worked items from 9 years of solo raiding and 3 years of duo adventurers with the undead overlord.
To simply have a stable lifetime which expands eternally since Angels are technically non living and therefore cannot age like humans.
That alone would ruin Revan’s romance life but luckily he had a spell that was meant to be a gag spell by the shitty devs, the creators of Yggdrasil, because it acted like a common true resurrection spell, to which Revan has gained multiple resurrection spells throughout the years, but all it did was change the racial class randomly.
It was a gag spell that hardly anyone took when they were a faith focused spell caster plus the aspect of losing 10 to 30 Levels spent on race due to the spell named ‘Reincarnation’ no one wanting to take it, but Revan took it simply because it was still a strong divine spell.
Throughout the first few days that the shop was opened, the masked man attempted to make the shop look more inviting and less threatening.
Firstly was to enhance the structure by utilizing inorganic buff spells which was mainly used to enhance weapons of lower quality to prevent them from breaking during fighting, this allowed the low quality stone and wood built structure to become inherently stronger of the marketplace road of the lesser district.
Secondly was utilizing a 10th Tier Magic Scroll of ‘Control Earth’ which was one of the highest tier magic that a druid could learn but unfortunately that Control Earth was an elemental spell instead of a divine since Druid utilized the same Divine Spell List as a cleric and priests, even Revan held little knowledge to some elemental spells which included pure elemental manipulation.
Control Earth allowed the masked caster to form the mud and the dirt that was outside his stone and wood shop and change it into actual stone flooring with the pattern of bricks allowing for a nicer entrance especially since people don’t have to dirty their shoes.
And lastly, a table and chair was placed on the outside so people may sit down if they grow exhausted for a while as to further expand the homely nature of the shop.
Yet all of these efforts are proving fruitless to the Angel Shopkeeper.
And It. Pissed. Him. Off.
Revan aka Soichiro Kuzuki was standing behind the wooden counter wearing different clothing which was a black hoodie with the hood up that covered the hair and left the mask still visible, a pair of jeans with basic sneakers.
This outfit was actually just a low quality item called clothing which was just something for a player to wear so they don’t get banned for exhibitionism though one could decorate this item with skins if they purchased it.
The wooden counter that the divine caster was standing behind was decorated with numerous selling magic items ranging from potions, to displayed weapons, sealing crystals, a couple of magic books on wood crafted lecterns, Revan silently appreciated Demiurge having crafted those lecterns personally though wondered if that aspect of his skill came from his detailed background because in Yggdrasil, no skill gave someone woodworking abilities.
The hooded angel was now getting angry as it wouldn't allow the effort of working towards a peaceful eternal life to be dissuaded by people afraid to enter the magic man’s small and humble shop.
On the side of the room were three individuals that are currently employed at the Angelic Magic Item Shop.
One was a tanned man with round glasses and was wearing a light tanned shirt and cargo pants with a full body apron, Demiurge as his name was, was currently rusting a bookshelf filled with Yggdrasil books which held numerous uses within Yggdrasil but the biggest use was that players used them for summoning creatures based on the amount of gold they spent on them, along with placing pop monster spawns to which doubled to triple the amount of gold based on the monster and level.
Demiurge constantly looked over his shoulder to glance at the final master of the great tomb of Ainz Ooal Gown with a curious light, Revan was shrouded with a dark aura which indicated anger or heavy annoyance, probably anger “Psst” The Archdevil called out to the other two workers.
Tsuare who was wearing a maid outfit was spying on her ‘Master’ from behind the counter that she was hiding behind since the blonde human was far too afraid to ask what the matter was if it really made the hooded angel mad “Y-Yes M-Mr.Demiurge?” The maid asked quietly as to not earn her master's ire.
“Do you know the reason why Lord Revan is mad? Usually he’s often contemplating his actions or enhancing the shop but now, I have no idea what has him in a foul mood…and I can usually determine our masters objective even minisculely since his wisdom and intelligence far surpasses any human but now…I just have no clue of what he’s thinking…” The Demon exclaimed to which Tsuare seemed to nod even if some of what he said went over the blonde maids head.
A Heteromorphic Creature was sitting by the window close to the demon and human, the creature was a humanoid built insectoid of an ice blue exoskeleton with two upper for arms which the right one was holding a halbarb along with two lower arms and an armored tail with an icy spiked end “Quiet. Do not disturb our master with your unnecessary gossip, if he wishes to tell us his feelings and thoughts then it is up to him but if not then we shouldn’t worry ourselves with problems far above us”
The blonde also nod at this “Right, Thanks for your insight Uncle Cocytus” She exclaimed silently which made the beetle head creature to exude a haze of frost from its breath as it usually did when it was pleased or aggravated but in this case, pleased that his words was heeded and that the human he managed to claim as a niece had called him uncle.
“Don’t know about you Lads but if my theory holds true then brother Revan is simply frustrated” a voice spoke up causing the blonde maid to look over towards a table close to the doorway that leads into the back section of the building which leads into the storeroom and the stairs that goes up to the second story.
The second voice came from a dismembered head that was sitting up right on the table with a book propped up next to it, the head consisted of an older man’s head with a long grayish beard, a pair of small horns on the forehead and two glowing eyes “You needn’t worry brothers, sister” the dismembered head exclaimed.
The head was named Mimir, in truth, it wasn’t really an NPC but it was a world item.
World Items are some of the most powerful items within the game of Yggdrasil which were also incredibly rare to even find though to those who did find one was publicly showcased on the net.
Mimir was a High Tier World Item that nearly bordered on one of the twenty, The Twenty showcased one use world items so powerful that it could theoretically change the whole power scaling of the entire game, Mimir’s ability wasn’t Offensive or Defensive but was in fact utility.
The Mimir Head World Item allowed any player to submit a question to the game devs and must receive an honest to god answer with a cool down of 24 Hours between answers, The Mimir head was an incredibly valuable item to any player as it could potential help locate dungeons and gauge there combat potential.
However once the head came to the new world with the player, its flavor text took form and the head gained life and sentience based on its flavor text which made Mimir a valuable companion as his insight enhanced greatly to all forms of knowledge within the new world.
“THAT IS IT!” A sudden shout caused all three, even the massively built ice insectoid to flinch heavily at the sudden shout of their lord and master who slammed his hands onto the wooden counter which cracked it into the form of webs “THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT! AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE DONE, WE SHOULD BE HAVING A FULL CAPACITY BUT NOW!” The masked caster shouted as he pulled his hand through a dark portal, the access to a players inventory space, then retracted it revealing some rope.
“It’s time for DRASTIC measures to be used.” The masked man exclaimed darkly as he started fiddling with the rope as well as going around the counter “Cocytus, your in charge till I return, Tsuare keep to your usual work and studies, Demiurge, grab Mimir’s head and let’s head towards the city square, it’s a good time to catch us some steer!” Revan often referred to his chosen targets as prey, unspecific targets are referred to as steer.
The three chosen workers of the Angelic Item Shop have left the building which left the Ice Beetle looking over at Tsuare who returned to her full height “…Uncle? Should we be worried about Lord Revan…and the possible kidnapped person?”
“Possibly.” The Insectoid Creature simply stated but remained in his seat “But it’s not our place to interfere with the will of a supreme one”
The Blonde Human was getting used to the numerous odd terms that Revan, Cocytus, Demiurge and Mimir seemed to say and they all seem to understand though the human woman didn’t know the term ‘Supreme One’ was new, Tsuare drew conclusions that whoever Revan was back out in the Deep Far West, he must’ve been nobility if he’s being referred to as a supreme one.
“But anyways -Fssssshhhhh-“ Cocytus let out icy hazed breath “Let’s continue with the work, the magic books on Shelf #12 need to be dusted”
Meanwhile,
Outside in the city’s center square, two figures were looking around for specific steer to capture and forcibly drag towards the Angelic Shop of Magic Items and Enchantments.
However with the masked man that had developed a reputation as being a Divine Caster of both positivity which was given to the local people as a cheap, kind and effective healer and the negative connotations being harmful rumors spread by some of the nobility and the church.
People that were shopping and socializing in the city square, they all would be staring and keeping far away from the blonde haired shopkeeper that was holding up a dismembered head of a goat demihuman, along with the fact that the head was still alive.
Luckily none of the human citizens of the kingdom had placed that Mimir was a world item given life via flavor text.
“No. No. That one is too poor especially for our humble little shop….hmmm ah! That one! The young lady in the mask and red cloak.” The head exclaimed as he gave a description which the two companions of the lone head had directed towards the figure.
It was a young woman indeed, incredibly short with a red cloak that seemed to cover her whole body, walking with a group of four, herself not included, that was heading towards the Adventurers guild that was also located in the center square.
The masked divine caster hadn’t done much research in the kingdom other than economic research of his competitors and economic fields of the kingdom but he could sense magical power from her.
One of the skills of an Ascended Seraph is a passive use of ‘Detect Magic’ which usually allowed Revan to sense those with magical power, particularly useless in Yggdrasil out of any situation not involved of locating magical traps in dungeons but in the new world, it became invaluable to determine who was capable of magic and who wasn’t.
The young masked cloaked woman was indeed a magical caster but the issue is that Revan couldn’t determine her MP Count which also helps the angel to make a deduction of what tier the cloaked adventurer was….but that was unnecessary since his world item head could provide that knowledge personally “Identify Mimir” Revan ordered the head which Mimir begun to speak.
“Aye Brother, Name: Keno Fasris Invern but preferred to be called Evileye, she’s a True Vampire with 30 Levels, currently knows 5 Tier Magic and is the magic caster in service to the adamantine adventurer’s group called ‘Blue Rose’” The decapitated head exclaimed to which the masked blonde handed the head to Demiurge who held the head by the stump close to the head.
Revan was now ready, his eyes were now on target of the red cloaked loli that was standing by a group of four, two twins with light brown hair with similar outfits but different color schemes, a muscular woman with dark brown hair in armor was also there but drinking a cup of ale since the four were sitting at a rather moderate restaurant in the public setting.
But the final woman that was sitting there was incredibly beautiful in the blonde angel's eyes, with perfect Golden Blonde hair that really suited the woman, she also had an air of elegance around her which added to the appeal.
‘Huh, that’s odd, for the first time since I arrived, she was the first one to actually look really attractive to me especially since as an Angel, my dick may still be there but I don’t really feel much need to use it so how does this elegant make me want to get an erection? Questions for later’ Revan thought to himself as he started twirling a circle with the rope overhead.
Attempting to snare and capture the cloaked vampire to finally get his first customer, ethical? Possibly not but Soichiro Kuzuki wasn’t known for his patience in the game as 80-90% of his gaming usually comprised of unloading torrents of holy and arcane magic to any unsuspecting idiot that managed to come across/tick off the Ascended Seraph “Demiurge, time my capture” Revan ordered as he threw the rope to capture the masked vampire.
Meanwhile at the table where five women were sitting, four were sitting while one elected to remain standing for professionalism's sake especially since they were trying to produce a picture that even the powerful can be humble.
The Twins were named Tia and Tina and they were ninjas, incredibly valued in the Adamantium Tier Group of Blue Rose because they provide essential scouting that grants the rest of the team knowledge to act on.
They both had dark Golden hair that is tied in a bun with coral colored eyes that has a sharpness
Tia was cold and emotionless towards most which does seem common for one who’s spent her entirely life being an assassin however when she and her sister joined blue rose, she developed a bond with her ‘Sisters’ that she would murder mounds of noblemen to protect them.
Her kunoichi outfit consists of a black half-breastplate over a sleeveless mesh bodysuit, a black and blue striped headband, light orange scarf with blue flower pattern, black arm gloves with metal bracers, a light orange hakama pants and black boots with metal plate around the shin and instep.
Tia was simply sipping on a cup of hazelnut coffee which was incredibly expensive since hazelnuts is usually grown in the empire and with the yearly skirmishes and broken down politics, hazelnuts are becoming extremely pricy to even get let alone to buy.
Tina was almost similar to her sister, cold and professional as an assassin though Tina is a bit of a gossip in her free time and couldn’t keep a secret even if her life depended on it, so she does have a lighter social personality then Tia.
Her kunoichi outfit consists of a black half-breastplate over a sleeveless mesh bodysuit, a black and red striped headband, light orange scarf with red flower pattern, black arm gloves with metal bracers, a light orange hakama pants and black boots with metal plate around the shin and instep.
Tina was chewing on some sliced strawberry vanilla cake which was incredibly good since cake was expensive due to the sugar that is grown mostly for nobles, the strawberries were seen as a luxury fruit also only bought by nobles but luckily this shop makes some of the lesser luxury foods and drinks could be affordable by those willing to spend 6-10 golds.
The third woman was a very muscular woman wearing dark pink armor that really suited her with a spiked mace resting on the table while chewing on a flavorless steak, her name was Gagaran and the muscle woman was incredibly outspoken, Gagaran was brash and uncouth, even enjoyed teasing a Golden puppy that she grown to like sometime ago “Hey, Evil Boss, why are we even here? Our last job paid really well so why are we eating here?” The muscular woman asked while chewing on another bite of the flavorless slab of meat.
The woman that Gagaran referred to as ‘Evil Boss’ was Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra, Lakyus was actually nobility before defying her parents and aiming to be a powerful warrior much like her uncle, The Blonde Noblewoman was also a priestess who also can utilize fifth tier healing spells, along with the famed and rather controversial spell of resurrection.
Lakyus is described as a young woman with long blonde hair, green eyes, and pink lips that show a healthy gleam. Her beauty fell short of Renner but overflowed with a different charm, her outfit consisted of a full body red clothing with white gauntlets and grieves as well as a pitch black bastard sword resting on the edge of the table.
The Blonde Leader sipped her common Camellia Tea, a brand of tea that her family is known to be the producers of such tea so it was nostalgic to her “We have a reputation to uphold, we can’t allow ourselves to be shown that we are above everyone else simply because we are adamantine ranked”
The red cloaked young lady that was standing by the table remained quiet for a time as she was feeling an odd sensation that she was being watched “It doesn’t matter in the end-“ Evileye as alias was felt a rope wrap around her to which she looked down to see the rope around her body.
Gagaran who looked over curiously “Hey Shorty…you got some rope around you” The muscle girl said the obvious which made the masked woman groan.
“Thanks for the observation Muscle HeeeeEeeEeEEeEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!” Evileye started to say before she got yanked HARD backwards which prompted the loli girl to scream for her unlife while the four others sprang up from their seats.
The Muscle Woman shouted “Evileye!” In worry as despite having a back and forth banter with the Vampire Caster, they were still sisters even if they don’t relate in blood.
The Auburn Haired Vampire quickly skidded through the stone bricked floor until she reached two figures, one in a black hoodie and the other that looked like a common worker with round rimmed glasses that seemed to reflect enough light to keep his eyes from being exposed “Ugh! Who are youuuu?!?!-“ The Magic Woman tried to say before the masked man however quickly used the same rope to have snared herself to bind her hands and feet together like some form of cattle.
It would’ve been incredibly impressive for the sheer size of the masked commoners brass balls to do so in public, if not for the overshadowing feeling of intense rage that someone had the brass fucking balls to snare her with fucking rope and take her away from the four humans she came to see as sisters.
“Time!” The man said as he pointed directly at the glasses worker that was… holding a head!?
The lizard tailed worker looked down at a silver object in his hand “58 Seconds” He would say which caused the head to speak, Evileye was trying to wrap her head around that!, however the masked man shouted “FUCK!!” So loud that almost everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at the man who shouted.
“Oooh so close brother, care for another try, maybe that cutie with the darkness sword” The human goat head had said.
The Worker Spoke up as the rest of the Blue Roses quickly getting there gear and tried to approach “Lord Revan, I do believe we need to get going now, I’d prefer not to get involved with the kingdoms city guards who mistaken that we are in the middle of a kidnapping”
Revan growled slightly before getting up and handing the glasses worker the rope end “First off, no one is stupid to perform a kidnapping in broad fucking daylight, secondly, we need to discuss what of our magic items to give the little girl so she doesn’t rat us out”
This caused the masked vampire to spin her head ‘they have magic items?! Magic items are incredibly expensive, even a minor enchanted dagger would go for 20 Gold Pieces, a simple first tier spell scroll would be 30 Gold Pieces. Do they not realize if they give away magic items for free even for bribery, they are giving away very valuable equipment’ The Vampire Woman then feels herself getting dragged away while facing the two figures walking down casually.
Evileye’s team of ‘Blue Rose’ are quickly approaching as they are running “Keno! Are you ok!?” Lakyus said, expressing deep concern for the magic caster.
“I’m ok for now! Just follow! I need to see where this goes” Keno exclaimed back to her team leader then focused entirely on listening to the two workers' conversation with their oddly and impossibly alive head.
“Well Brother, Demiurge, if you’d take my advice, Young Keno-“ The head was speaking which caused Evileye to flinch heavily as her true name was being spoke as she didn’t know how they knew her name “-is a magic caster so maybe give her your Necklace of Enhanced Mana or bracer of enhanced MP regen. Though if your going to be stingy on money then I’d recommend a Sixth Tier Spell of Heal, being an undead-“ It continued to speak to also cause the undead magic caster to flinch heavily again as her status as a vampire is only known to her sisters “-such a scroll would be useless to her but having some an item to heal her comrades, it would make for a really grand bribery Huh?”
As they were discussing what item they should bribe the vampire woman with, Evileye is almost having a heart attack, if her heart was still beating, as they were discussing items and weapons that would undoubtedly be considered national treasures and some of those items the cloaked member has absolutely no idea on what they were.
‘Just who are these guys!? And what’s with the fucking head!? Most importantly…HOW DO THEY KNOW ME!?!?’ Keno aka Evileye shouted within her mind as she felt that she was now getting dragged onto dirt heading towards the lesser district of poor people.

Chapter 3: First Time Customer
Note: Alright my doods! Here is another chapter for y’all.
Ok so it was concluded by me and my co author that Revan(OC) will be paired with the priestess warrior Lakyus.
Why we’ve decided to do that particular pairing is due to the fact that they both hail from a faith based combat system aka Revan being the highest tier of literal angels while Lakyus learned holy/divine magic and attempts to use her good nature to overturn and dominate the blade of darkness that she claimed.
Plus her personality would certainly mesh well with Revan’s cautious but good nature personality.
I would like to take this moment to give a shout-out to a good person who sees immense value in this story, @The Azure Dragon really helped me with my inspiration and madness so thank him because he gave me the motivation I needed to produce chapter. 3 :) :D
——
As the two approached the poorer end of the market district, the discussion soon descended into infernal language, which was a language no human in the world would be able to understand.
Infernal was the language of Devils, among numerous languages that was implemented into the game of Yggdrasil which allowed players to read specific books that are written in that language which gave players restrictions to books that they could read.
Though in the game, these books of various languages detailed and inspired by the languages located in the game Dungeons and Dragons, the languages in the game would be translated to Japanese however what Revan learned after arriving in the new world was that he could fluently speak and write in the languages he gained access to within the game as if he instantly knew how to translate his basic common language into another language.
However in the game, the only way for one to gain access to other languages is through three methods, either by acquiring race or classes, through one use items like specific high rarity books which is almost as rare as world items or lastly specific high tier quests.
Evileye was having immense difficulty trying to figure out what was being said especially after 200 Years of Experience in Magical Study yet she couldn’t keep up or even knowing just what’s been said by the masked man or the glasses worker, even the head seems to be fluently chiming into the conversation.
Evileye starts thinking to herself ‘Ok ok, think, two guys of mysterious origin just suddenly appeared, wrapped me in rope then started dragging me away while talking in Infernal…Lord Raiden… could they be where he was from? If so…is the world close to a crisis that more Gods has arrived? But I can’t ask, if they really are from the Realm of Yggdrasil that Lord Raiden had told me in our intimate moments then I shouldn’t do anything to aggravate them’.
As the dialogue of the hidden vampire woman was raging, the four women who were walking fast directly behind their bounded sister were trying to get a clear understanding of what’s going on “So Evil Boss, got any idea who these two are? I mean, since you're close to the Golden Princess maybe she said something?” Gagaran asked while keeping a moderate speed to remain close to their bound teammate to make sure that if either of the two men decided to take her innocence, she would stop them but had to internally commend them for their bravery.
Lakyus had returned from their Adamantine Leveled Quest two days prior, though yesterday was spent getting bombarded by Renner, Third Princess of the Re-Estize Kingdom, of the juicy gossip that happened days prior.
Mysteriously, a Red Masked Man in a black cloak had suddenly appeared in the kingdom and rescued someone from the streets.
Hours later, the place that threw out the woman was up in flames while dozens of girls wrapped in very fine cloaks lined a building that was blocks away to where a kingdom patrol unit found them.
Lakyus knew this masked man was connected but with an investigation currently ongoing and with literally no evidence other than an illegal brothel that was hosted by Eight Fingers.
Then a day later after the masked man’s arrival, a shop opened up in the poorer part of town which soon became the biggest news of the whole capital, a magic items shop though most wondered why such a shop opened on that part of town until rumors circulated that the items shop was also a clinic which gave some of the cheapest healing in the whole kingdom, then the 10 Gold Cost of a healing spell monopolized by the church.
Lakyus was conflicted on the fact that a clinic was formed selling healing for 20th of the cost to which she absolutely adored, helping others when they can’t even pay for it but she is unsure of how the church is responding to such an event, though the Noble Woman did hear Renner say that the church had tried to get the Magic Caster killed for his Heresy against the church but it was dismissed by the King believing the shop had violated no existing laws while even chastising the church for trying to interfere with the commerce of the kingdom.
Especially with the Annual Wars closing in, just two months before the kingdom mobilize the peasants and soldiers during the start and peak of harvest season as such, the King can’t afford the trade to be interfered by an organization that has monopolized healing magic though this decision is met with numerous criticism by the noble faction of the court.
“Yes, I heard quite a bit from Her Highness but none of it is concrete other then the fact that this man is a Divine Caster from a land farther West of the Holy Kingdom and rumors believe him to be of Noble Birth given his immense magical power as it’s believed Revan could cast Fifth Tier Arcane Magic, unknown to what tier Divine Magic he could cast though Rumors believe he could cast 6th Tier Divine Magic and having two Demi Human Servants at his command” The Blonde Swordsman gave her thoughts on the rumors and gossip she heard from the Third Princess of the Kingdom.
Renner seems to have been pleased and immensely amused about all of the conduct that ‘Lord Revan’ has done during his very short stay in the capital, having made fools of the Church and Nobility though expressed worry that such a powerful magic caster has made enemies of Eight Fingers due to the brothel burning to the ground and the body recovered having been of a high ranking member known as Cocco Doll since the body was the least damaged out of the numerous dead that was found.
Gagaran would whistle “Daaaaamn! No joke? Well he’s certainly something even if he doesn’t look much”
Tia would speak next as she had used an item moments ago to detect Magic, as a precaution just in case of assassination missions “Are you sure Evil Boss? This ‘Lord Revan’, I don’t feel any magic being emitted from him” this would cause Lakyus to nearly choke on a bit of air as that was unheard of, a being that could wield magic yet doesn’t emit a precise signature to cast was entirely unheard of…unless.
Revan spoke up in common as with his advanced hearing, heard what was being said by the girls even if they weren’t all that quiet to begin with “The reason that you can’t sense any magic from me is because my mask is enchanted with several incredibly powerful anti-divination Magic from the Tenth Tier, and enough of the rumors because I don’t care about such things, as you have believed before, I do not limit myself to 5th Tier Magic, I can cast up to Tenth Tier so enough with the rumors”
Evileye gasped at this, as memories jogged up during her romantic days with Lord Raiden commenting that he fought alongside numerous magic casters who could cast 10th Tier Magic in the Realm of Yggdrasil, the pinnacle of magic in such a realm where gods seemed to roam “I must ask this! Can you also cast Eleventh Tier Magic?” The Masked Magic Woman asked as she needed to know for certain to determine if Revan was a Godkin.
“The hell is ‘Eleventh Tier’?” Revan muttered as they approached the stone and wooden building with the sign ‘Angelic Magic Shop and Enchantments’
The sight of the building caused Revan to start breathing heavily as he will finally get his first customer inside his shop to which he quickly turned to grab the bindings that is wrapped on Mimir’s head then grabbed Evileye’s bindings “Let’s go, time to put on a proper show of our shop. Right Demiurge?” The masked Angel asked which the glasses demon pushed up the glasses on his face with a disturbing smile.
“Of course Lord Revan” The Arch Devil said as the three and accompanying four girls entered the shop.
The Masked Divine Caster placed the Smartest Man’s Head onto a table directly next to the door propped up on a few meaningless books that came from Yggdrasil, just useless Trivia about Muspelheim, one of the game’s Nine Realms.
“Mimir, when I give the signal, greet them” Revan ordered as he placed Evileye onto the ground and effortlessly released the young vampire woman of her binds, he then moved quickly to the adjacent bookshelf to grab a scroll from a small bin on said shelf.
“Aye, sure thing brother so should I guess on the signal?” The Horned Head asked which Revan had tossed the Scroll into the air to which Kano had caught after getting back onto her feet who then caught the scroll.
“You’ll know, you ARE the smartest man alive” The Masked Angel responded to the question as he sped walked towards the wooden counter “Cocytus! The sign!” Revan exclaimed to the giant four armed cyan ice beetle that was sitting in the corner next to the door.
Cocytus looked around for a bit like he was trying to rush to find this ‘Sign’ to which he quickly looked to the right and poked at the folded up sign on the wall with his weapon which folded down exclaiming.
‘Training Lessons by Cocytus the Warrior, 1 Gold per hour, additional fees discussed based on training.
‘Available Training.
‘Weapons, Unarmed, Military Tactics, Physical Body, Leadership
‘Certain Training Methods may be discussed with Cocytus the Warrior’
This would catch two of the warriors of the group more especially the price as private training usually goes for 10-15 Gold Pieces per session and this is usually for those who would afford the price of training, those from nobility could easily afford lessons.
The masked caster quickly got behind the wooden counter “Demiurge! The samples” Revan exclaimed towards the Archdevil which made the tanned skinned demon nod and held up a silver platter with what appeared to be slices of an apple like fruit stabbed with toothpicks then walked to the five women who were far more confused than before.
Demiurge held out the platter to them while Mimir spoke up “Greetings Lasses! I am Mimir, Smartest Man Alive and welcome to the Angelic Shop of Magic Items, Enchantments and Medical Clinic, where magic is bought cheap and effective for ya, please, take a complimentary bite of the provided Primal Fruits that are grown in the gardens of Asgard and if you wish to purchase more Primal Fruits, it’s 30 Silver per fruit” The head greeted and exclaimed to them the compliment fruit, Primal Fruits are a moderate consumable item that granted when eaten resistance to one damage type.
Primal Fruits we’re heavily sought after during a players mid game but Revan collected a lot of these fruits even though his race didn’t allow him to gain benefits from consumables but a lot of humanoid players paid good Real Yen for an abundance of these fruits, due to how Vast Yggdrasil was, Revan was one of many that made plenty of money making opportunities.
Lakyus slapped away Gagaran’s hand who tried to pluck one of the sliced fruits more out of concern for her non blood sister though picking a slice herself as a way to test it “Uh…Sir Mimir, what exactly is a ‘Primal Fruit’?” She asked the dismembered head.
The Head remained quiet for a minute though his glowing yellow bi frost eyes moved towards Revan who simply nodded believing such information wouldn’t impact them then his eyes moved back “Well Lass, a Primal Fruit is a fruit imbued with powerful Druidic Magic hailing from the Realm of Vanaheim, Odin also known as the All Father and leader of Asgard has imbued these fruits with these magics to empower his Enherji, once eaten, you will obtain a magical resistance to a damaging type of your choice” This was a lot of unknown information to them but what they all understood together.
The fruit granted a magical effect that granted resistance to one damage type which could very well be a very powerful item that could be sold for thousands of gold but this masked shop owner is giving a taste of it for free and selling whole fruits for 30 Pieces of Silver.
Gagaran quickly picked up a piece of the fruit along with the twins once hearing this “Ok, so how do I get this power? Do I just eat it or something?” The muscular woman asked.
The masked Angel was the one who answered the question “just say the word of one damage type and the fruit will change its color to match that type along with changing the taste of the fruit to a fruit that is associated to that damage type.”
The blonde swordsman seemed to understand the activation so she looked down at the slice of the white tinted fruit then said “Uh…Lightning?” It was a test to see if this fruit was real, however in that moment of the spoken word, the slice of the fruit warped and changed to what appeared to be a ring of yellow fruit.
“Woah….” The five of them stared in amazement at the morphed fruit, the fruit ring looked really juicy to them “Guess I should eat it…” Lakyus said then ate the fruit whole.
Her eyes widened as she tasted the amazing juice that seemed to soak the ringed fruit, extremely juicy and also very tasty though the taste was amazing, the effect on the young noblewoman enveloped her in a minor aura of Lightning energy before subsiding for a moment.
Though the masked vampire woman with her enhanced hearing could hear Revan say “Huh, so the fruit changes its appearance and taste…I guess items seem to incorporate their flavor text in their use…but a Pineapple? I didn’t know Pineapples were associated with lightning or could the color be the deciding factor on Fruit Appearance and Taste?” Keno had no idea what Flavor Text meant but given her experience with another Godkin in her time, it may be information from the realm of gods called ‘Yggdrasil’
Gagaran quickly grinned at this “How you feeling?” She asked the team leader if she felt different after eating the slice of fruit.
“I don't… feel all that different, did it even work?” Lakyus asked, then she faced the masked magic caster who piped up.
“Yes, it did work, because I watched the activation sequence when the Primal Fruit has activated so you now possess temporary Lightning Damage Resistance” The masked angelic caster exclaimed which caused all of them to look shocked that it worked.
The muscular woman grinned immensely as she grabbed a piece from the plate though asked “Is it only for elemental damage or could weapon damage types be included” She looked over to the blonde caster curious which Revan simply gestured with a thumbs up “Alright, down the hatch” Gagaran said as she said “Piercing” To the fruit and waited for the fruit to change.
Luckily, the primary fruit changed in a small flash of light turning the apple slice into what appeared to be a slice of a pinkish rimmed fruit with a white and black spotted interior.
It was a dragon fruit….apparently.
‘What kind of fruit is that?!?’ Revan shouted in his mind as he didn’t even have much knowledge of food especially since in the old world of earth, food was exceptionally rare and could only be afforded by the filthy rich.
Gagaran took a bite from the odd fruit then looked at the toothpick oddly as her muscular form was enveloped in a silverish aura “Huh, it didn’t taste like much, uh? Sir….?” She then tried to get Revan’s attention only to learn that none of them asked for the masked caster’s name.
“Revan” The Masked Man said as if it was something he commonly gave out for many who didn’t know him.
Lakyus would pick up Gagaran’s supposed question as she stepped close to the wooden counter “May I ask a question Sir Revan?” The blonde priestess asked which the masked caster Revan didn’t respond but simply motioned for the young lady to ask away which Lakyus nodded in appreciation “With all of your items, scrolls and magic fruits, why not sell it at a far more expensive rate? Surely many nobles would pay high coin for third tier scrolls or even the Magician’s Guild”
The masked man chuckled lightly as he looked over at the suited wearing apron Devil who’s grin grew slightly, he then looked back “Well I have formed an impeccable business model while I was traveling the unknown lands of this world” An acceptable excuse to Revan though he needed to speak with the undead loli, who was undoubtedly watching him keenly, and figure out what she meant by Eleventh Tier Magic because the blonde angelic caster has a feeling that she was referring to Super Tier Spells.
“So yes, I could make enough coin to last several lifetimes to the 1% of the world because I can guarantee many of them would shell out the coin just to have powerful magic items that can induce strong effects or fruits that are impossible to get from these lands but I have a model that would get me the coin while also helping the little people, by selling my inventory very cheaply, everyone will come to me because everyone always seeks a way to get items and food at the cheapest, but by doing so cheaply and effectively on items and food…they will ALWAYS come back” Revan exclaimed his business model though while not caring if anyone tried to steal it.
Which was common back in the old world, the only issue is that the commerce of other businesses can’t replicate the items or services that Revan can provide and that’s exactly what the masked man wanted, a loyal fan base of customers that would go to him then anywhere else.
…Revan immediately shivered that he figured Demiurge will try to spin this as a way of manipulating value of the goods and keep the humans coming to him regardless, so long as the goods and services are cheap, he would try to think Revan was manipulating the people and getting a solid hand on the item trade.
“I-incredible…” The masked vampire Loli exclaimed shock as she does recall times and stories where a former god or ‘player’ aka Raiden told her stories of economic trade in the realm of gods yet to hear it again from someone else, this must be how they commenced barter in Yggdrasil, the Realm of Gods.
Lakyus had to nod as well as she never expected Revan to be that good in business to know exactly what the people would want, cheap and effective goods and having confidence that they will ALWAYS come back because it's what they could afford “That’s incredible Sir R-Revan” she would say though Revan didn’t overlook the blush on her cheeks but chose not to direct attention mostly because he didn’t think it was all that warm in the building.
Revan nodded “Aye, though i wasn’t all that much of a trader back home, I picked up some tips from a good friend of mine, his name was Momonga, he was the direct opposite of me, a Cleric Caster, but Momonga was a Necromancer but it didn’t matter what field of magic either of us studied. We were friends and that’s all I cared about” The masked man exclaimed though remained silent and quickly brought up his hand cutting off the silver tongued devil from speaking how great Momonga is as the greatest of supreme beings.
“Hey Sir? How much are your tiered spell scrolls?” Tia asked as she was curious because in the magicians guild, it was 5 gold for a first tiered spell so she wanted to know the difference between Revan and the Mages Guild.
Revan looked over at the shining glasses former floor guardian who pushed his glasses up “Well, as decreed by Lord Revan, First Tier Spells are 10 Silver per scroll while adding additional 10 Silver for an additional tier added to the scroll so the Rabbit Ears Scroll is a first tier scroll and therefore will cost 10 Silver per scroll while a Fireball third tier spell would be 30 Silver per scroll”
And by some divine intervention in Revan’s mind, Revan mentally heard a metal pipe drop as the twin ninja started quickly going through the numerous scroll bins with Gagaran having a slack jawed alongside the ‘Evil Boss’ of Blue Rose.
Evileye had a small snort as she mentally said to herself ‘Shocking isn’t it? I was the same when I met Lord Raiden…’
Revan watched as the twin ninjas tries to take as many spells as possible while Lakyus quickly composed and immediately got on them while exclaiming that they can’t buy all of these spells, but he smiled behind the mask as having an adventurers group buying from him will undoubtedly increase his shops reputation.
