Chapter Text
Quackity woke up in an unfamiliar place. It was dark, and cold, and…
“MUSHY?!” Quackity screeched, flapping his wings away from the terrible feeling. Immediately, something held his beak shut.
This, Quackity didn’t appreciate at all. He screamed and quacked to no use as his beak was held shut by an unknown force. If only he could see who was doing that awful thing-
“Shut up!” the being behind him whispered loudly, “You’re going to wake them up!”
Quackity, finally, stopped screeching.
“Fuckin’ finally, man!” the being finally released his beak, “Your screeching is gonna wake the entire neighborhood up.”
The releasing of the beak was not a good idea, it turned out, because Quackity immediately started screeching again.
“OH MY GOSH AM I DEAD, WHY IS THERE SOMETHING MUSHY ON THE FLOOR IS THAT MY BRAIN OH MY GOD!”
Quackity was definitely not freaking out.
“AND WHO THE HECK ARE YOU OH MY GOD ARE YOU GOD? I’VE NEVER BEEN TO HEAVEN BEFORE, AM I IN HEAVEN-”
“SHUT UP!” the animal behind him shouted.
Quackity turned around, trying to see exactly who the other animal speaking to him was. Instead of seeing another duck as he expected, though that was a stupid expectation in the first place, he found himself face to face with a racoon.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” Quackity shrieked, flapping his wings and hastily stumbling backwards.
The raccoon didn’t even make any effort to shut him up this time. Only putting his head into his tiny paws and sighing. The raccoon might have even muttered, “Is this what my family has to suffer everyday with me oh my god.”
But, it might have been a figment of Quackity’s imagination. Or the wind.
