Well, well, well, y'all thought you'd seen the last of me!
Funny story about this. I kept planning to finish this podfic to gift to Poppy for like 2 Christmas-es now and kept not getting it finished and then letting it fall to the backburner because I was busy with grad school and not podficcing anymore and my old recording laptop kinda stopped working. So it sat, literally like 2/3 recorded, for over a year ;n; because I'm the worst.But I got a new computer, and I started testosterone a few months ago so I wanted to finish this podfic before my voice changed completely so it would be cohesive (I think you can kind of tell in the latter half that my voice has started deepening but not enough to be distracting.) And it was a good motivation for me to finally get all my old recording files off that ancient buggy laptop (which took like 2 days.) Regardless, of course coming back to podficcing it had to be the old JM. I'm excited to start feeling out my voice again as it gradually changes and settles into its new place!
I hope all the old school (and maybe some new) jeanmarco fuckers will enjoy this OG heart-wrenching classic. Poppy, your stuff still hits hard after all these years <3
