Dear readers,
I am happy to report that I have picked up writing again after I I couldn’t bring myself to finish another story for seven years.
Special thanks goes to the pandemic which made me stay home so that I had time to revisit two old friends to whom I thought I would never return to again. And suddenly my writer’s block vanished.
Although I cannot tell you why all I can ever write about are Snape and Harry. Even after seven years their relationship holds a ban over me I am simply not able to break.
Therefore I invite you all to join me in my regression from my adult life back to my youth.
When I wrote my first book Always, Snape I was obviously a teenager and had no perspective on appropriate and healthy relationships - as I am now painfully aware.
Therefore, I made Hogwarts a school for adults this time so Harry could be older.
Also now the whole “JK Rowling is a transphobe” thing has happened.
Because of which I tried to minimise my use of her work as much as possible.
Maybe one day I’ll rewrite the whole thing with exchanged names. But right now I cannot think of a name that does the same to me as Severus Snape’s.
