The problem with Butch’s thinking bigger is that it might as well happen. He’s not going to leave Bradley anytime soon, so at some point, preferably on the day of said man’s birthday, the shock button will be installed. Then probably another day, they’ll just decide that it’s an off-day, and get drunk for it in name of celebrating some trivial thing. They also do have some issues of Grognak the Barbarian lying around somewhere in the house, therefore they might as well read it again while still drunk, and laugh about it so hard that they’re out of breath and it stings.
Maybe Butch really wants both of them to pass out together somewhere on the first floor, just short of making it to bed, but if he thinks about it, that’s again not impossible. Maybe he wants to wake up and see that blond bastard’s face still firmly mashed to the floor, the right hand just a few inches from Butch’s face, but that’s also probably going to happen. Then maybe he’d hope Bradley grumpily decides to get up at some point, get some water, and wordlessly shove a cup into his face, but it’s again a highly likely following event.
He’s really not sure. All of these can happen and will happen if he sticks around long enough, which he’s planning to do unless Bradley decides that he really sucks and fires him. He thinks, however, there’s something missing when he considers those stuff actually happen rather than in his little fantasy. It’s Bradley’s eyes, probably. He doesn’t know. Butch’s eyes are starting to well up.
