It has now been a little over a year since Ann Halford bought Shall Fen Shall and later gave back his freedom. Now she has been traveling with him out of his own free will. They gained a new friend Mythril Lid Pod, and together they traveled around while learning new things about sugar candy making and about themselves.
Ever since the first exhibition, Ann became more conscious of Shall and always got nervous around him. She didn’t understand what was happening. But her heart has been feeling strange after he called her name for the first time. The feeling grew even more after what happened with the Duke of Philax. When Jonas threatened her to tell Shall to leave, she didn’t want to do that. But she needed to protect Mythril. When it was done, she broke down and wished that he was still there by her side. When he came running back, she was surprised. She couldn’t believe her eyes, thinking that it was a hallucination.
When he called her name the second time, she felt her heart racing and felt happy to be in his arms. But ever since they went to Radcliff to help with the silver sugar making, with the help of Mythril Lid Pod; she has come to understand what her heart was telling her.
She has fallen in love with Shall. It was not unheard of that humans fell in love with fairies, seeing how Willam Alburn fell in love with Christina, a water fairy. But the pain that was shown by William after the loss of his love was something she didn’t want to experience.
All she wants is to have Shall stay by her side forever. She wanted to just enjoy the moments they have together and hope to see a world where humans and fairies get along like in the story of the Fairy King and King Cedric. She doesn’t know if she will ever tell the fairy of her feelings but she knows that they will always be together through any tough moment.
