Summary:

What happens when you put a bored Ghost King into another dimension with the idea to be Famous or Infamous, using any means possible.
Que idol Danny who makes no effort to hide that he's not human. Though in his defence this was all Ember's Fault.

Chapter 1: So it Begins

Danny honestly had no idea how he pulled one of the biggest lies he's ever had to make off. He'd only been in this world for four months, getting set up and researching how different it is from his home dimension. So far he's found that the biggest difference from his own is that this world has heroes and aliens, of all things, living here. But that wasn't important at the moment. What was is that in the next ten minutes, he's going to be called to audition for a chance to become an idol.

"Damn Ember for making me do this," He muttered under his breath. He couldn't believe he'd lost that bet after she had heard Danny singing to himself when they were hanging out. The conversation following that could be boiled down to Ember basically threatening to sic Johnny 13 and Kitty on him if he didn't allow her to teach her 'Babypop' the ways of song and songwriting. It wasn't as bad as he thought it would be and he'd actually had a lot of fun which brings him to his current predicament.

~FLASHBACK~
"Young one, I need to have a word with you", came the voice of the only ancient that Danny would spend any length of time with.
"Clockwork please, any time I can get away from these meetings is a dream come true. So what can I help you with?" Asked a young ghost dressed in royal attire, he had luminous white hair shining and moving like starlight-turned water vapor, slitted glowing emerald eyes, and glowing constellation freckles that moved every so often. This was Danny Fenton aka Phantom, the Ghost king of the Infinite Realms and Ghost of Space and Protection.
"There is a world I would like you to check on, it seems during Pariah Dark's reign there was a deal made to leak ectoplasm into pools in the mortal realm and give whoever uses it a sort of false immortality, however over time those pools became corrupted and toxic causing madness, uncontrollable emotions, fits of paranoia and more. This cannot continue. I fear that unless something is done, those pits will spawn something that cannot be contained by that world's forces", announced the ghost known as Clockwork.

"So all I have to do is go there and close those pools. Sounds easy enough," Danny said.
"That's not all I would like for you to do. You, Little King, need a vacation; so how about taking Ms. McClain up on her offer and putting it to use while you are there? Who knows, you might find something special." Clockwork smirked at him and not the normal fun smirk but the 'I know something you don't and it's going to give me great amusement watching you flail trying to figure it out' one.

~FLASHBACK ENDS~

So taking Clockwork's advice he went to Ember and started learning about how to make music and write songs, which was a lot harder than he thought it would be. It was during this training that Danny learned something new about his ghost form.
Apparently, since becoming king, Danny could influence reality around himself and choose what affected him and what didn't. Ember was so mad finding out that, in theory, he could make special effects using his powers. So she drilled him on finding ways to use his core and other powers to make effects and alter how they look and feel.
This brought him to now, before leaving the ghost zone Clockwork locked Danny in his ghost form, and when he asked (read; demanded to know) the Time Ghost why he did that, Clockwork being his cryptic self, as per usual, refused to answer. Apparently, he had decided that helping Ember was in Danny's best interest; and any attempt to gain information on why was met with a smirk and him saying 'All is as it should be'.

A voice knocks him out of his thoughts. "Danny Phantom, the judges will see you now." A man ushered him into a room where he would either make it or fail horribly; the room where his future would be decided by how well he performed. The man hands him a bracelet at the threshold.
Danny takes a deep breath. Stepping into the room, he gazes at the three people who will be his judges. One male and Two females, the man introduces himself as Sean, and the two women as twins Mello and Dixie. Sean then explains the rules for this audition.
1) He can pick a song or sing one of his making
2) If he has powers, he's allowed to use them as long as no harm comes to him or the judges
3) He has to wear a bracelet that prevents emotion-based manipulation
4) Give it his best shot
5) They will choose the Theme

As he waits to hear what his theme will be, Danny slips on the bracelet. After speaking with each other for a few moments, Sean tells him his theme will be "Broken Love".
Taking that as his cue to begin, he settles on a fairly recent song he'd made, giving his phone to the guy from earlier. He directs him to the instrumental for it and, with a nod, signals the music to begin.

Dimming the lights, he let his core lightly mist around him.

Slowly moving around, he lets shadowy images play around him; a boy and girl having fun and messing around

Adjusting the images, he shows the boy alone with his head in his hands, and the girl walking away with another man, leaving him broken on the ground.

I'll try to focus on what's in front of me and not behind

Next he showed the boy trying to get through life without the girl, falling and failing sometimes but never giving up. Hoping that everything will be alright. Brightening the room, he shows the boy now doing a lot better and no longer breaking down at anything that reminds him of the girl. Letting his voice gain an enchanting effect, the next part would have been instruments, but being what he is, he lets out an inhumanly high autotune-esque noise as he continues the song.

Ending on that note, he lets the lights come back and gets rid of the shadows and mist. Nervously looking at the judges, he fidgets while they mutter to each other and make gestures toward him every so often.
Hearing someone clear their voice Danny tunes back into reality, "We have come to a conclusion." Sean says.

"Danny Phantom..... Welcome to Central City's Red One Entertainment. This is your Starting Line."

Frozen in disbelief, Danny could only repeat the words "I did it, I actually did it" inside his mind. Looking up, he uttered into the universe, "I did it".

~GHOST ZONE~
Elsewhere in the Ghost Zone, Clockworks smiled. " All is as it should be, this is your Starting Line Danny, have fun."

Chapter 2: Getting in Character

Summary:

Danny has been in Central for 8 months now, training and finding a theme that works for him. Now comes his biggest challenge, getting his name out for the massess to view and what better way to do that then going on a statewide Talent show.

Question, is can he make an Impact while there or will this end up in flames?

Eight months have passed since that fateful day and, honestly, Danny's having a blast. Learning how to make music and incorporate his ghost powers into it while moving and singing was a new experience, and finding a theme that would fit him as a solo artist was a trip.
Alternatively, it was decided that his concept would be a fae prince looking to have fun away from responsibility. He had laughed himself sick at the idea that they thought he was fae, but he did nothing to convince them otherwise. He also has a manager now; like a legit manager, her name is Liu'er Mihou, she's a short Chinese woman and he honestly thinks she'll fight gods to get things done; he's a little scared of her.

"Danny," came the voice of his manager, "You've finished your training here and now it's time to set you to the media and get your name and face out for the public to witness."
"And how exactly are we going to do that?" Danny asked, genuinely curious. He’s currently wearing his Idol costume, which consists of a Black crop top, black pants with white belts wrapped around the left leg, crisscrossed white belts on his hips, a black jacket with his logo DP on the side in white, white elbow-length gloves with a black band around the wrist, and calf-length 3-inch white boots with black bottoms and light green, almost white, belts on the top of the boots to top off the whole outfit.

"I'm having you compete on a talent show. All you have to do is make it to at least the semi-finals to achieve what we need. I've checked the rules to make sure you can use your magic and there's nothing against it as long as there are no mental-based powers being used," Mihou informed him. "Be ready in two days. You will be auditioning for Central’s Got Talent, so I suggest you either practice the songs you have now or complete an unfinished one before then."
With that piece of advice, she turned to leave but not before looking back at him, " Oh, and Danny, good luck. I Believe in you."

Flushing green, Danny groaned, ‘Man now I Have to pass auditions’ he wallowed, before picking himself up, ‘I’ve got two days to make sure I pass now should I make something new or do something from my world?’
While thinking about what to do, He looked around the dance room before laying his eyes on a picture of himself, Jazz, and their parents that had been taken before it all went to shit. Walking over to the picture, he numbly picked it up, staring at the blissful scene. Honestly, I just feel numb looking at it.... wait! That gave him an idea, looking at his watch he saw he had enough time to get started on what he wanted to do before the studio closed, so setting down the photo he hurried to the recording booth and got to work.
“God, I hope two days is enough”

~TWO DAYS LATER~

"Hello and welcome to Central’s Got Talent!
Where people from all over the State get to Showcase their talents for a chance at stardom and $130,000!
Now Please welcome your judges. Award-winning Actor Aether Luminus!”, a man with long gold hair, golden eyes, and pale skin, waved at the crowd as he took his seat.
“Model and Actress, Usagi Serenity!”, a woman with long white hair in two buns, and gray eyes waves, taking her seat.
“Dj and Rapper Lloyd Garamdon!”, a man with short blonde hair and green eyes sits, smirking at the crowd.
“Singer/Songwriter Vil Schoneit!”, an intimidating male with blonde hair and violet tips, and sharp violet eyes glide across the stage to his seat.
“Grammy-winning Actress Chang'e!”, a black-haired woman with dark eyes and blue lipstick hopped to her chair smiling
“And now your Host, Comedian Jake Long!”, a man with dark green, almost black, hair and brown eyes came and took over the stage.

"Ayo, now that the boring part is out of the way, let's get this party rocking!!" Jake screamed into the mic.

After countless performances, it's now time for Danny to go on, “Here's to hoping I make it with this song.” Moving onto the stage he’s greeted by the judges.

"Hello, what's your name and what will you be doing today?" Aether asked.
"Oh, my name's Phantom, and I'll be singing an original song for you guys," Danny said shyly.
"Well, the best of luck to you and you can start when you're ready," Usagi said.
Signaling the stagehands to start the music, Danny took a deep breath as the lights cut.

Making shadow figures, Danny set the stage with a light shadow of himself in a house listlessly following shadowy figures that could be his parents, struggling to conform to whatever they wanted him to be

"I'm tired of being what you want me to be

Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes

Next he shows the parents yelling at and belittling the boy while he tries to do what they want him to but fails and makes them angrier.
The boy is then shown in the corner of a bedroom crying.

Now he shows the boy trying to tell his parents that they're being too hard on him. All he wants is just for them to be there and not be constantly fighting with each other.

Has fallen apart right in front of you
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)

By this point, the boy is hanging on by a thread and it's about to break.

The thread breaks and the boy no longer tries to please people who will never be satisfied with how he is and who he is becoming.

Ending on that verse, Danny opens his eyes and is shocked at the judge's reactions.
They're all crying. Slightly alarmed Danny looks to the host for help, but to his shock, he's crying as well.
‘What is even happening right now?’ Danny thought, still shocked and a little worried at this point.

"Sorry folks, wow, we just needed a moment. Phantom I must say you have a talent, the likes I've never seen before and honestly it'd be a waste to make you go through the semi-finals," Vil stood up elegantly and raised his hand, pointing at a button in the middle of all the judges," Do you know what this button does?"
Cheering erupted from the crowd as soon as the words left his mouth. They could be heard chanting ‘Push it! Push it!’
" With a push of this button, you will be going straight to our Top 5 live show. So what do you say, you guys? Does he deserve it?" Vil smirked.
Hearing the screams get louder, He raises his hand and brings it down on the button, causing the stage to be bathed in a golden-green glow as confetti rains down.
"Congratulations Phantom, you managed to stun not only us but probably everyone watching at home. We can't wait to see what other surprises you bring to the table."

Staring blankly, Danny couldn't believe it. He never thought that he would impress them that much. Not only did the judges want more, but the crowd did too.
He laughed as tears ran down his face. "I promise I won't let you down," he said into the mic, grinning, before leaving the stage.
‘One down, two more to go. Don't get cocky just yet’

Chapter 3: Starting Line

Summary:

Danny continues to Amaze/ Scare meanwhile in Gotham something strange is happening

~Central City Stadium~

Danny was practicing his last run-through of the song he would be performing.
It was now down to the last Five contestants. Two dance groups, a light show artist, another solo singer like himself, and a comedian duo.

"Danny, let me be the first to say how proud I am of you, you've come a long way from the nervous little prince, you’ve become something amazing. No matter what happens in these last two rounds just know I'm still proud of you," Liu'er told him.

Giving her a smile, Danny turned his attention back to the other contestants. He felt better after that little pep talk.
Hearing noise He looked up to see that Jake had come backstage to talk with each group before they went up.
"Yo! Listen up party peeps. After today only three groups will be moving forward, so give it your all and reach for the stars. I'll be coming to talk to each of you before sending you out to perform. As usual, the TV that you see here will be broadcasting the acts so you guys get to enjoy them as well.” Jake announced.

Having said his piece, he started to make his way around the room.
Taking the chance to slightly relax while waiting, Danny let his mind wander; the song he picked is something he’d written while back in his home dimension. He had made it after a huge fight with his parents; He was just so sick of them trying to force him and Jazz to believe in their nonsense about ghosts being evil. Danny had just gone off on them. That had been the last straw for him.
Feeling movement coming toward himself, Danny opened his eyes and was surprised to see that he was the last person in the waiting room
‘How long was I thinking?’ Shaking his head, he looked over to see that Jake was making his way over.

Stopping in front of Danny he smiled before speaking, “So, Phantom, was it? What do you hope to accomplish now that you’ve made it to the semi-finals? Also I gotta say, dude that audition of yours was lit.”
Giving a small smile, Danny looked at the TV before speaking,” I'm trying to prove that just because you have powers or are not human, you don't have to be a hero or a villain you can make your own path, and you should never let someone dictate who you should be.”

“Far out man, I can't wait to see what you bring to the table this time, it's stupid hard to impress Vil but you managed to, which is nothing short of a miracle. I wish you luck! Knock'em dead dude.” Grinning, Jake stepped back and headed back to the main stage where the judges were.

~WILL PHANTOM COME TO THE STAGE, WILL PHANTOM COME TO THE STAGE~

It's showtime.

Making sure his outfit was ok, Danny made his way onto the stage and faced the judges once again
“Well, would you look at that, my potato is here. I wonder will you dazzle us like last time or will you flop like so many others before you?” Vil said when he caught sight of Danny.
“Hopefully I will amaze you like last time,” Danny addressed not just Vil, but the audience as well.
“Well let's not keep you, you can start when you're ready,” Aether said.
Letting out a noise of affirmation, Danny stepped to the middle of the stage and curled himself into a ball, floating off the ground. At the signal, the lights dim a little as he begins speaking.

Shadowy figures formed around me, vague images of people surrounding a figure in the middle who you could see was shaking but clearly trying to ignore that.

Still in a ball Danny slowly uncurled and made a transparent sheet of ice to act as a mirror. Gazing into it he pretended to be disgusted with what he was looking at

Punching the ‘mirror’, shattering it, Danny then showed figures around himself talking and having fun as he looked at them with a blank hollow look in his eyes, causing them to glow brightly

Showing a vague image of the fights and kidnappings had gone through in his world, Danny slowly moved around the stage like a puppet; with jerking movements, eerily walking toward the judges at the front of the stage.

Stopping near the judges Danny gave an unhinged smile that was far too wide with too many teeth, scaring not only them but the audience as well. Lifting his hand he let his claws show before lunging at the judges, pretending to slash at them only jerking to a stop inches from their faces. As if something had held him back from hurting them.

Forcing himself away from the edge of the stage, Danny moved back to center stage to sing the last few verses, but not before using his shadows to swirl around himself until all that was visible to the audience were his glowing eyes and sharp, toothy smile.

Letting his power go, Danny stood there waiting for his fate. Whether he would make it to the finals or whether he would fail here..

"Yo, what we just witnessed was amazing. After a quick break, the judges will announce who’s going to the finals!” Jake said, in a sort of daze.

Chapter 4: Author Note

Hello to all my readers this is just a little update about the story. I’m running a little behind on updating it because I was at a convention and I also was recovering from a surgery that I had to get done so if you can give me about a week the new chapters should be coming sooner than they were before.
Also, I would like to say I will try to be updating at least twice a week that’s my goal but we’ll see how it goes with working/school

Chapter 5: Flashback

A little backstory as to how Danny got cornered by Ember, and how it came to be.

Danny was on his way to Ember's lair after receiving a message from her to come immediately or face consequences. So here he was flying like his afterlife depended on it, which knowing Ember there was a 50/50 chance of actually being in danger if he didn't show up. Arriving at Ember's place, Danny releases a short pulse from his core, sorta like the ghostly version of a knock, but you know exactly who's knocking without seeing them.

 

~Danny POV~

After letting ember know I was here, I wondered what she was going to do to me. It's just a feeling I have and honestly scared about. She can be mean when crossed.

Danny was knocked out of his thoughts when the door opened, and Ember quickly ushered him in.

Moving to ember’s couch, Danny couldn't help but wonder what all this was about. It's not normal for her to seek him like this and the creepy thing was she still hasn't spoken a word since letting him inside. "Danny, do you know why I called you here?" Ember asked me, (Crap, she called me Danny she never calls me that unless I made her mad).

 

Looking through his memories, Danny couldn't think of anything he could have done to upset her. "Seeing as your still clueless let me inform you about why I'm upset, you see last week i decided to visit amity to see you, I searched for two hours before I found you SINGING in the forest, now I'm not upset about you singing I'm upset that I never KNEW YOU COULD SING SO WELL," that last part came out in a enraged shout from Ember who's blue hair is now burning so bright it's almost white. (She's really pissed, I gotta do something and quick, but what? ) 

 

Taking a deep breath, Ember spoke before Danny could get a word in to explain himself.

"Here's what's gonna happen baby pop, I'm gonna train you in music until it becomes second nature to you, and you will do everything I tell you or I'll tell Johnny and Kitty exactly what happened to his bike last month." Ember explained so calmly, Danny was tempted to ask if she was joking or not, but with the threat of Jhonny finding out that Danny was in the...unfortunate...incident that happened to his bike, well he's just gonna have to suck it up and listen to Ember for the time being.

 

What happens next could best be summed up to a training class from hell, which, considering that they're in the ghostzone, was pretty accurate. Ember worked him to the core, music theory, dance, instruments, vocal pratice etc. he went through it all, in the beginning he hated it but as time went on Danny found that it wasn't that bad and actually began to look forward to practice/torture with Ember. 

 

As the months went on Danny improved until half a year after starting, Ember declared that he has learned all that she has to teach him, now it's time to put it into practice before moving on to add his powers into what he's learned, and according to her, his final test is to perform a duet with her for Kitty's Death Day on behalf of johnny 13.

 

A week passed until it was time for Kitty's Death Day party. Both Danny and Ember practice til they could sing the lyrics in their sleep. But Still Danny was nervous he wasn't sure if he trained enough for this but Ember had faith in him and he wouldn't let her down. Feeling a hand on his shoulder Danny turned to see Ember smiling at him, it was finally time to put his training to the test.

Standing up and following Ember to the middle of the room, the noise quickly quieted when seeing him, Ember handed an earphone to him so he could begin.

" Happy Death Day Kitty, so if you're wondering what we're doing up here, Johnny there asked Ember to make a song for you for what could have happen if you guys didn't love each other, I decided to help and hopefully you'll like it." Danny said.

Starting off Danny used his ice to cover the room in a light area of mist,that contrasted greatly with the colors of the GZ,without being gaudy. Shifting to the side he glance at ember and seeing her nod, took a breath and began.

Doing a duet like this was extremely difficult for Danny to learn at first because of the back and forth lyrics being sung, he had to time it correctly and couldn't miss a beat or else the song will be thrown off. But it was the perfect song for Johnny and Kitty, so he had to at least try, at any rate the lyrics were made by both him AND ember as a test run to see if he could put what he learned into practice.

Using his duplicates he showed shadowy figures in the mist, fighting but going back to each other regardless of what was going on between them. Always showing ugly words and emotions but that was just the beginning.

Cheers and Screams erupted around the room, Kitty was smiling and holding Jonny tightly, for his part jonny barely flinch even though it looked like kitty was trying to end his afterlife through her hug.

"Babypop we did it, I'm so proud of you. You are definitely ready to go on your own music journey." Ember told Danny after hugging him in congratulations for a job well done.

" Thanks Ember I actually had a lot of fun, thank you for teaching me even if I was a brat about it at the start, maybe I'll pursue a singing career if I every get a break from being King."Danny told her. smiling widely.

( It was really fun to bad I can't enjoy it more), Danny mused before joining the others in more festivities.

~Last Time on End of Silence~

Letting his power go, Danny stood there, waiting for his fate. Whether he would make it to the finals or whether he would fail here..

"Yo, what we just witnessed was amazing. After a quick break, the judges will announce who’s going to the finals!” Jake said, in a sort of daze.

"Well, I must say that scared the moon outta me," Chang'e said a little shakily, staring at Danny wide eyed.
"I agree, Danny. You said you would continue to amaze and I can confidently say that you kept that promise," Lloyd stated. " Danny, regardless of what happens, I would like to coach you. I think you might do well as a Rapper."

Usagi spoke next," Young Man, you have a gift. I've never seen someone use powers like you do. It's honestly breathtaking."
Smiling, Danny turned his attention to the last two judges, nervous about their feedback before he can learn if he made it to the finals or not.

" Amazingly well done. However last time I said to do your best but honestly it looks like we haven't seen you at your full potential. I hope we can see what your're really made of soon." Aether said, looking directly at him.

Hearing that, Danny looked at the final judge who has yet to say anything. 
Vil had given absolutely no reaction to anything being said, he might as well be a statue due to how unmoved he was.
Gazing at Danny, Vil finally spoke. " Phantom when I pressed that golden buzzer, I had High Hopes for you and wanted you to prove that you deserved it." While speaking, the entire stadium went quiet.

No one said anything, fearing that any noise that wasn't Vil speaking would influence his choice.

Danny paled and swallowed thickly. The tension was so thick you could practically cut it. Vil went quiet for a moment before speaking again, " Phantom....... that performance proved that more than anything you deserved that buzzer."

Danny could have collapsed, but he quickly pulled himself together. All that's left now it to see if he has more than three votes to stay or go.
The judges talked among themselves for a moment, before stopping. Chang'e was the one to break the silence this time. " Phantom, after speaking to each other, we have come to a decision."

Steeling himself, Danny could only hope to the Ancients that he would be ok.
" Congratulations Phantom, you've taken our number three spot for the finals,you will have one week to prepare so good luck." Chang'e cheerfully told him.

Danny quickly thanked the judges before leaving the stage just to greet his manager, that looked almost as shaken as him. 
Liu'er gave Danny a smirk, pulling him into a short hug messing with his hair. " Phantom, I'm so proud of you. You've come so far, but don't rest yet. You still have the finals to beat."
"Do you really think I can beat the other acts? I'm lucky I got this far by just singing." Danny told her only to get smack upside his head."OW The Hell Mihou." Danny exclaimed, more in surprise than pain. 

Mihou just rolled her eyes, " I know that didn't hurt, listen Phantom I don't know if you know this but I don't just manage any old talent, in fact I'm known for being heartless to people who give their talents less the 100%, but when the producers came forward with a demo of your audition, I knew then and there that I had to manage you and see you soar, you've already come so far in such a short time. I won't have you think badly of yourself. You deserve to be here, Phantom. I believe it and so do those people in the crowd, but if you still don't believe me, check your social account after we leave. You might just be surprised."

Having said that Mihou turned on her heels and left, Phantom behind her still looking lost but obeying.

 "I can't believe it," Danny uttered, staring in shock at his phone, or rather, what's on the phone. Taking Mihou's advice when they got back to the dorms, Danny open his Instagram account only to find that he now had an insane amount of followers. He went from having four followers to almost 6.7k followers in less than a week. 

That wasn't the only thing that shocked him, it was the messages people were leaving on the account, some was wishing him luck on the show but most were about how he inspired them to take chances, step out of shadows and just be themselves, that's not all there were pictures of people wearing his DP logo or wearing black, bright green or white clothes.

Still staring at his phone, Danny noticed that something wet was on his face. Reaching up, he realized that he was crying. Rubbing his eyes, Danny tried to stop, only to start crying even harder, then he started to laugh and laugh. Smiling and sniffling a little, Danny took another look at his phone." Of course Mihou was right, she had to know," he said.
 
' She was right. I am surprised,, but it's nice to be liked for something I did and not be hated for something that I didn't do. Now I have to prove that it wasn't a fluke and that I'm worthy of your continued support. I better get busy.' Danny thought before getting busy.

 

~Next Week Finals~

Danny was once again decked out in his Idol outfit but Mihou had got a hold of him and forced some makeup on him, claiming that he WILL look his best or so help him because she won't have any mercy if he refuses. It wasn't anything crazy fortunately, just some green/white eyeshadow and eyeliner, giving him a very pretty boy look and he didn't actually hate it despite whining about it.

Breathing, Danny quietly sung some lyrics under his breath while waiting for his turn.

"Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason, I can't explaAHHHH"

Turning, Danny jumped, scared by a ginger haired man suddenly appearing in his view.
The man jumped as well before quickly waving his arms and shushing him," Woah calm down. I'm here to hurt you or anything. I just wanted to ask you something."
"What are you doing back here? Better yet, who even are YOU?" Danny asked the dude.
Chuckling, the dude answered," Sorry for scaring you. My name is Sun Wukong. You might have hear of me."
"Wait your Mihou's peach loving Idiot Fiance," Danny said. " What are you doing here and what do you want?"

Deadpanning at the name, Wukong explained what he was doing there and what he wanted. " Listen, I need your help. I want to make a song for our wedding reception as a gift, but while I can write a song, I can't sing worth a damn. I was hoping since Mihou has basically adopted you, would you help... me?" Wukong said.
Taking a minute to just absorb the request. Danny agreed, " I'll do it. How about after this show me what you have so far and will make the greatest wedding gift for Momiou."

"Thanks Phantom, this means a lot to me. I know we haven't really talked but I hope that could change, anyway. I'll Let you go. It looks like you're being called."
And sure enough, he was. Saying goodbye to Wukong, Danny quickly made his way to the stage. It was even bigger than the other one and the crowd was huge there didn't look to be any empty seats as far as he could tell.

"Welcome back Phantom, by this point you know the drill so give it your best shot and have fun," Lloyd said after greeting him.

Grabbing the headset that was handed to him. Danny took one last view of the crowd before vanishing before they're eyes. Before any panic could occur the stage went dark before showing what looks like a dark and messy bedroom, then all of a sudden there was a flash of lighting followed by the faint sound of rain. Danny slowly came into view with his head down, and his back against the wall, lifting his head he let his eyes dimly glow. That's when the music started which only added to the eerie vibe danny started.

"Woke up again in the pouring rain

Slowly getting up he walked to the bed and sat on it facing the crowd.

Sharply looking up Danny looked around like he could hear something that wasn't there, flinching he quickly got up and started pacing the room, grabbing his hair and looking around wildly. Stopping dead Danny finally addressed the room, brighten his eyes and looking at nothing, he sung as if he had gave up hope.

"I'm a cage, I'm a prison for what no one sees
Ashamed like I'm sleeping with the enemy
No one believes me, but I'm six feet deep
It's a monster made of memories"

Arching his back Danny gave an inhuman roar causing no short amount of people heart attacks

Danny's Shadow suddenly twisted like it had an mind of it's own. It sudden took on a vague outline of Undergrowth, so black it looked like it sucks out light, and teeth so white and sharp it feels like if you so much as twitch your lunch.

Next shows Danny with a gun in his hand looking like he wants to end it all but does not for fear of letting the shadow win.

Throwing the gun away, Danny curls up in a ball with his hands over his ears, like he was trying to drown out the shadows taunts.

Danny tiredly got up and laid on the bed staring at the ceiling, while shadows gather around the bed, showing flashes of demonic eyes and teeth.

The bed starts to leak mist and the temperature starts to drop as well, Danny sits up and looks at the crowd with dead eyes causing screams when black starts to inch into his eyes and his teeth start to lengthen.

With a BANG the bed fell to the stage breaking, while Danny stood still, but something was wrong , he was twitching before disappearing and appearing again in the air, emotionless with shadows and ice swirling around him. ( Just imagine Xiao Karmic debt thing, that's what he's doing)

Chapter 8: Aftermath

Summary:

Let's see what our favorite ghostie has been up to since his win shall we

After he won Central Got Talent, Danny was quickly whisked away in a whirlwind of job offers and sponsorships. Mihou was over the moon and quickly showing why she was a force to be reckoned with. With her in charge, she wasted no time setting up a schedule for him to follow, from interviews to talk shows she did it all. The one thing that surprised him though was when she had all but commanded him to take modeling and acting lessons.... he.. he was too scared to refuse, as she had an almost manic look in her eyes. However Modeling and learning how to act was really fun, using his powers in photoshoots has made him really popular with photographers. 

Another thing that changed with his newfound fame was his fans, it honestly shocked him how loved he became from just singing, which now that he thinks about it shouldn't have because that's how Ember is and that doesn't just come because she can hypnotize people, she actually has to be decent and fairly like for her powers to work.
Also there has been an increase demands for when his first album is coming out which is what he's currently working on. The plan is to have him do a surprise mini concert and announce the Time/Date/Name of the album, the only problem is........ HE CAN"T THINK OF AN ALBUM NAME!!!!

He already has the songs prepared and recorded, but the name has been driving him up the wall, not to mention he still needs cover art for the album, but can't do that until he has the name.

With a frustrated huff, He threw his phone on the couch as it became clear that scrolling for ideas wasn't working. Figuring he might as well go outside and touch grass, he got up and quickly changed into a Nasa hoodie and some cameo pants. He threw the hood over his head and grabbed some shades before leaving his apartment.Taking a deep breath, he took off in a random designation.

Lost in thought, he just lets his legs carry him until he was broken from his thoughts by what sounded like a fight but not a real one but a playful one between friends. Curiosity getting the better of him, he decided to head towards the noise. Coming closer, he could start making out words, but they weren't in English but Japanese. turning the corner, he could see that he was at what looked like an outdoor sports court. On the court for what looked like volleyball was two teams, one was wearing black and orange while the other was wearing black and gold, but that wasn't what caught his attention, what did was a black and silver striped haired male that look like an owl.

(BOLD JAPANESE)

"AKASJHII LOOK AT MY MINI ME I TAUGHT HIM THAT MOVE," the human owl yelled at his teammate who looked done with his shit, while jumping around with a small orange hair boy in black. "Yes, I can see that Bokuto but please refrain from screaming we're not in Japan at the moment but America," the calm voice of a black-haired steel eye pretty boy said, coming over to the owl who, Danny guessed is named Bokuto(?) maybe?.

Deciding to take a risk, Danny made his way over to the group, who must have heard something since they paused and turned to see who was coming. He could feel the wary stares and could almost taste the confusion, but he didn't stop till he was in front of them.
" Hello, sorry for Intruding but I couldn't help but be curious about what the noise was about, but judging by your uniforms you guys aren't from America are you," Danny asked figuring he may as well just act like a concerned citizen for now.

" Oh sorry about that, I hope we weren't disturbing anyone," a grey-haired pretty boy said, " By the way your Japanese is really good."
"Oh, you weren't, but I was concerned since natives know not to be in this area as it gets dark since Captain Cold and Killer Frost like to hang out around here," Danny assured the boy as it would be bad if they ran a foul those two," While Captain Cold wouldn't really care, Killer Frost on the other hand also wouldn't care but her powers are temperamental at the best times around others that it just isn't worth it unless your a meta or Alien and even then not worth it."

" I see thank you for telling us, oh where's my manners, My name is Sugawara Koushi, what's yours." Looking at him for a moment, something told Danny that these people are what he needs, so removing his 'disguise', he turned to the shocked looks of the group around him.
"Name's Phantom, nice to meet ya Sugawara-sempai." Danny delighted at the looks of Awe and surprise surrounding him.
"PHANTOM IT'S REALLY YOU THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE," that came from both the owl and his mini me who's name he still doesn't know. "Um... Phan..Phantom-sama can I ask you a q...question," Came an awkwardly nervous voice, turning Danny is met with a Black-haired blue eye boy, who looked to be almost shaking in his clothes.
"Uh sure you can what's your name stranger?," danny asked.

Jolting up, he spoke," My Name's Kageyama Tobio, the quest....question I wanted to ask was ....wh...when your first album com..coming out?". 
"Huh, to be honest that's why I'm at here this late. I can't think of an album name and the deadline is coming but I'm drawing a blank." Admitting it felt like defeat, but there was nothing he could do about it.
" WE CAN HELP, PLEASE LET US HELP," two energy bundles screeched as they bowed in front of Danny. "OI NISHINOYA, HINATA DON'T JUST VOLUNTEER PEOPLE FOR THINGS," a voice roared. " BUT DAICHI IT'S PHANTOM WE CAN'T JUST NOT HELP," the two energy bundles now named nishinoya and hinata screech backed.
Laughing, Danny figured why not it wouldn't hurt, anything so he, agreed which brings us to now.

(Well that was certainly an experience), the boys he found out were in America for a Volleyball Tournament from there schools Karasuno and Fukurodani. So in a bid to help him, they decided to play a short match and during said match something seem to click. Shooting up Danny quickly thanked the boys and asked when they're last game is, confused the boys told him. After thanking them one last time Danny shot into the air and raced back to his studio, he had a lot to do if he wanted this done tonight, calling Mihou he told her his plan and asked if it could be done, she just laughed at him and told him to worry about his part she'll take care of everything else.

-The Next Day-

Waking up, was hard but Danny soldier on and got ready, after eating he checked the time, as it was 1:20pm he had less then 2 hours to get everything ready. Grabbing his Id he was out the door and outside to where Mihou was waiting. " Phantom I can't wait to see what you have planned, after your phone call last night I got everything set up and hushed up so all you have to do is knock' em dead, but let me be clear call me that late again and the consequences will be dire," she said with an eerie grin.

(I Hope everything goes well or I'm gonna be even deader than I am now) he could have cried(WHY IS MIHOU SO SCARY).

Arriving at Central City Stadium, Danny quickly got out and met the manager of the building. Quickly going over the situation, he was then led to a room close to the gym where he could already hear cheers and screams for the players. Opening the door, he could see his dress/make-up team. Getting seated, he let his team do their magic, while he went over all that he needed to do once he appears.

" Phantom, it's almost time," Mihou spoke derailing his train of thoughts, " Now I already informed the bands that are here and the coaches know about the performance as well. The only people that don't are the players and guests. So this better be worth Phantom or you'll deal with me." Finishing on that cheery note with an eerie smile, Mihou looked like she was one step from eating my soul if i messed this up.

(Why is she so scary I'm King of the Afterlife but she's like a demonic shadow demon if I didn't know any better I'd say she's not comp....plety human?..... Hold oN WaiT BuT NOO THAT ACTUALLY KINDA MAKES SENSE,) Shaking his head he tried to forget that train of thought ( Later Phantom, right now I got work to do)

Making my way to the gym, it appears that it was the closing ceremony. I don't know who won since I was getting ready, but I can find out later. Turning Invisible/Intangible I made my way inside, almost immediately I spot the two teams that I met last night in addition there seemed to be several others, Ignoring them for the moment I waited for my cue and as luck would have it, it's about time.

"THANK YOU CENTRAL CITY FOR THE GREAT TURNOUT FOR OUR VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS, NOW LET'S GIVE THEM A GREAT FAREWELL TO THE XXXX WORLD NATIONALS!!!!!"
As soon as the cheers and applause came, I knew that was my cue and quickly went in front of the teams, as it turned out they were all in a straight line so it was easier than expected, getting into position i could see the band members subtly changing instruments and getting ready. As the cheers finally started to calm down, I cut the lights, causing screams into multi-colored orbs appeared and the floor turned into a lake.

"SAVED MY LIFE, WOAH"

Dropping the invisibility, I came into view as chanting and screams of my name started. Floating in front of the teams, I gave them a grin at the shocked looks and awe faces I could see. Next a teardrop fell from my face and hit the floor causing an ripple effect

Turning lighty, I directed this next part to Karasuno from what they told me about there, journey I thought it fit.

Turning the lights on dim, this is where the bands came in as the orbs from earlier started forming scenes from Karasuno journey from a 3rd Pov. The cheer teams also helped out with the chorus

Ending the orbs, I flew higher and released some ghostly fog, and made shadows appear acting out the next lyrics

Flying down, I got rid of the fog and turned the light all the way back on, showing that the cheer teams had joined me on the floor, and started dancing like we had weeks of practice and not hours

Ending , the applause was deafening and the two teams i made friends with came over, with Bokuto and Hinata nearly knocking me over with their hugs, Laughing I hugged them back as the rest of the teams came over so even crying while trying to thank me.

After saying goodbye to the teams, I decided to go to the nearby mall and wander a bit as I didn't want to go home yet. It was crowded but that was expected so after making sure my hood and mask were on, I went and explored, looking for something to catch my eyes. As I was wondering I came upon the food court, I noticed that it wasn't as crowded as other spot, as I was looking a thought occurred to me, so I quickly left to find a security booth before putting my plan into action.

I suddenly appeared in the air above the crowd, causing cheers and screams. Laughing I waved and flew around for a bit before getting started. Letting my eyes glow and sharpening my fangs a little, I smirk and gain squeals and one girl even out right fainting as I gazed over the crowd.

“What you saying, I know that face

Why you playing those wicked games?
By now you should’ve, known you’ll only hurt yourself”

I  gaze knowingly at the crowd, before singling out a girl on the outer edge, floating in front of her as I lift a clawed hand and run it over her face singing the next verse.

“I can taste the devil in your breath
The lies here in our bed
I'm sleeping with the enemy
I'm losing my head
'Cause you killed me like a drug
I'm bleeding from your touch

The girl blushed bright red before fainting into her friends arms, smirking I float into the air again, this time laying on my stomach like I was on a bed, gazing at someone.

As the song started winding down I was hit by an epiphany

After, Winning Got Talent Mihou had voluntold Danny to take Lloyd up on his training offer. Not having anything better to do he agreed and got in contact with Lloyd's manager and had a training schedule set up, he starts tomorrow.

Making his way to the studio where he was meeting Lloyd, Danny was in his Idol outfit but without makeup and wearing shades as he made his way inside. Coming out to a large recording room, he spotted Lloyd at the soundboard messing with something, closing the store he cleared his throat, causing Lloyd to look up and smile.

“Hey, Phantom glad you could make it. I must say I can't wait to start working with you,” Lloyd said giving Phantom a pat before ushering him to a seat by the soundboard. “Now, I know this is a little out of the type of genre you do, but I really do think you have what it takes. So, what do you say want to give it a try.”

“Yeah, I do want to try, it seems like fun and at least I can say I tried if it doesn't work.” Danny said taking the time to put his shades down, showing his glowing eyes. “What do we start with and why me.”

Lloyd looked at Danny for a moment before responding,” When you showed up at Got Talent, you shocked and stunned many people myself included. I've never seen someone put such emotion and feelings into music before, so I was curious if you could do the same with rapping as you know there are many types of raps just like there are different types of music genres. The one I want to focus on is Trap and Bounce rap as those fit your aesthetic really well.” “What I'm going to teach you is how to string words into a flowing suture as well as showing what type of message you want to give when performing.”

“Well let's get started, I got time since my album is now out.” Danny said, eager to start.

It certainly wasn't easy, learning under Lloyd, he was a strict but fair Teacher, and they did have fun together as he was teaching him. Danny learned under Lloyd for about six months when Lloyd proposed an idea to see if Danny was ready to graduate or not from him.

“Ok Phantom, I have a challenge for you. What I want is this, I'll give you a prompt and two hours to make a mix, once that is done, you'll perform for me, and I'll grade it based on a scale of < S, A, B, C, or D>. You with me so far?" Lloyd said.

Giving a Nod to show I was listening, I waited for my next instructions, and luckily for me Lloyd already had the prompt for me, he called it " A farewell or Grievance Letter almost."

Lloyd wished me Luck before leaving me to my own devices, giving a sigh I rub my neck before starting with the music as that would take me the longest. After about an hour, I finish the music but now I have less than an hour to figure out lyrics, (Man Lloyd knew what he was doing this prompt isn't a easy one and it's really testing all my training, I thought).

*TIME-SKIP*

It was time to start my so called 'Test', I was in the recording booth, while Lloyd was outside waiting on my signal to start. “Phantom, are you ready?”, Lloyd asked me.

Giving him a thumb's up, I signaled for him to start the music I had made for this.

As the music started, I lost myself in memories of how it all started

Here to tell you the truth
Tell you I'm nervous
Tell you my story
Tell you I'm worth it
Tell you my flaws and my faults and my doubts

Next up was the feelings of how I almost gave up and the pressure of succeeding as I've been doing so far

Chapter 12: Run This Town

Gotham City, Batcave. 4:00am Same day as the finale for Got Talent

It was quiet, save for the subtle hum of the computers and the occasional squeaks of bats. Staring at the screen that was showing a picture of a previously unknown creature, that had decided to show itself to the world, was a figure dressed in an imposing outfit modeled after the creatures above him, was none other than Bruce Wayne otherwise known as Batman.

“I've called you've all here to brief you on a new person of interest.,” Bruce explained looking at all the figures, from a silent girl in purple to a man in a red helmet and leather jacket. Motioning to the screen, he spoke, “This is Phantom an assumed “Meta” that recently debuted as a singer, on the Talent Show Got Talent.”
Another figure spoke this time, he had a lithe figure and black outfit with blue running along the sides ending with a blue bird-like figure on his chest,” Judging how you said 'Meta', I'm going to say that he is not in fact a meta but something else,” he said cheerily.

“Don't be a fool Grayson, Father wouldn't have brought it up if he didn't at least expect something was amiss. Father, am I'm to presume this has something to do with the hospital patients gaining glowing eyes and passing away practically overnight.” This came from a figure standing arrogantly in an almost assassin like outfit in muted colors of red, green, and yellow.

“Oh come on baby bird, lighten up,” the figure now known as Grayson said.” But he is right, so what's the deal with our singer here.”

“Well unlike first appearances, he is not in fact a 'meta' he isn't even human to begin with nor is he an alien of some kind,” Bruce said,” Getting in touch with Justice League Dark, Zatanna informed me that 'Phantom' is a death spirit or to be more precise he is a spirit meant to ease and guide humans to the afterlife once their time ends.”

“That explains why we've only seen the glowing eyes in the terminal wards and hospices, the people were already dying or close enough it didn't matter,” The man with the red helmet said next. “So, now what? It's clear he isn't evil or anything he's just doing his job abet in an unusual manner, I think.”
"For now, nothing unless he does something worth worrying over, I've elected a hand off approach until proving wrong. As you've pointed out he isn't doing anything other than his job, so just keep an ear out rumor has it that his music is 'unique' for lack of a better word, that's all for now dismissed.”

Taking one last look at the screen they begin to leave one by one, missing the way the picture seemed to glitch showing a crown of ice and aurora hovering over his head, before returning back to normal.

Danny was breathing hard after that; rapping wasn't easy and his respect for Lloyd grew even more after this. Moving out of the booth, he was bombarded by cheers and loud applause, causing him to jolt in surprise as he wasn't aware Lloyd wasn't alone anymore.

“WOO, way to go Phantom, I'm impressed you've grown in the short amount of time we had. Let me give you your grade, and then I'll introduce you to our rather unexpected guests,” Lloyd told him, gesturing to the group of five people, four boys and a girl.

He happened to recognize the group before him, they were known as the 'Elemental Masters' a group of metas who all specialized in an element of some kind though very minor.

“Ok, Phantom for your final grade. I hereby gift you a.......... B, while you were shaky on some parts you proved to be able to flow really well and put an impressive amount of feeling into a song you only had less than three hours on. As you do this more and more you'll get used to it, so don't worry too much over little details.” Lloyd told him,” Now let me introduce you to some friends of mine.”

“First we have Kai, the Master of Fire,” Kai has thick spiky brown hair, brown eyes and a friendly grin.

“Cole, Master of Earth, "He has medium length, shaggy black hair and bushy eyebrows, and a muscular body.

"Jay and Nya Masters of Lightning and Water respectively, "Jay has reddish-brown hair, brown eyebrows/eyes and light freckles. Nya has long dark hair kept in a ponytail, with long bangs, pale pink lipstick, and small dimples on her cheeks. She has a beauty mark on her right cheek and apparently is married to Jay.

"And Lastly we have Zane, Master of Ice," Zane has white hair and slightly glowing blue eyes and a kind smile.

“Sup Phantom, as Lloyd said I'm Kai and I have got to say, that was some impressive ability you showed, which makes this offer worth the wait.” Kai said seemly very excited about something.

Seeing his confusing he explains further,” Us Masters had decided to host a small tour going city to city for the anniversary of our first performance, we had come here to get Lloyd and see what he was up to, when we heard about you. After seeing what we just witness, how would you like to come with us and perform an opening song and duet with one of us at each city?” he was nearly vibrating in his seat towards the end there.

Danny was Stunned, should he do this or not?

"MIHOU!?!? WHERE DID YOU EVEN COME FROM," Phantom yelped. Mihou looked demonic, Phantom was sure if the Masters weren't here, she'd try to eat his soul and yes, his soul and not his body he could tell the difference.

"Now, now let's calm down. He's haven't given us his answer yet," Lloyd tried to placate Mihou but stiffened when she turned her eyes on him. "On second thought continue," he stuttered, while leaving Phantom to fend off his manager by himself.

Giving his current mentor a betrayed look, Phantom nervously answered Mihou earlier question,"Mihou, I was just playing of course. No way would I miss this chance of a lifetime." Was he laying it on a little thick, yes, did he care absolutely not. That seemed to calm her slightly, but he still refused to get within grabbing distance just yet.

"SOOOO, that happened. Phantom, Lloyd will call Mihou when we have a set date and time. So, for now, why don't you let Mihou set a training schedule for you. We'll see you soon," Kai said. Looking like he'd rather be anywhere other than near Mihou, which was fair to be honest.

Say Goodbye to the others, Phantom turned to ask Mihou a question and froze as Mihou stared him down, her eyes gaining an unholy light, as she grinned darkly at him. " Come, Phantom there is much to do and very little time to do it." She said, dragging him away to ancients knows where.

(Time-skip 2 weeks)

Panting was all that could be heard in the studio. Phantom was laying on the ground pretending to be dead so Mihou would give him a break when she came back from taking a call. After the meeting with the Masters, Mihou had been drilling stamina into him and forcing him to work on his song crafting for the past two weeks. If he knew she'd be such a slave driver, he'd have held off on doing the tour, but no one denies Mihou.

"PHANTOM YOU BETTER NOT BE SLACKING OFF OR HELP ME," he heard Mihou shout from outside the room. Phantom shot up like he wasn't just trying to guilt her into going easy on him. As soon as he got up, Mihou came back into the room with her phone, gesturing at him to stop for a moment she put the phone on speaker.

"Hey Phantom, it's Lloyd as I was telling Mihou earlier we finally finished choosing where to perform. We picked six different cities for this tour, ending in Gotham. I was outvoted so Gotham it is," Lloyd sounded vaguely annoyed at being overruled.

"Anyway, Mihou has given us a interesting prompt for you. How would you like to open each show, with a song of your making and then a duet with each of the Masters ending with me in Gotham?," Lloyd asked.

'Open each show and do a duet, well I do need more practice with duets and there probably won't be another chance like this until I can do my own tours'. Phantom thought. "Sure, I'd be honored and this way I can get more practice doing duets."

"Great, now all that's left is doing the promotional ad, to let people know about the tour. So here's what we planned......

(One Month Later)

Setting everything up took more than Phantom expected. The first stop was Coast City, home to the Green Lanterns, well the human ones at least. The Stadium was swarming with Tech support and other people getting everything ready for tonight.

"HEY, PHANTOM COME HERE," Jay, called out to him. Shaking himself from his thoughts, he went to see what was happening.

Jay was standing with the other masters, as they were practicing little tricks and stunts with their powers. "So, Phantom I got to say, I'm impressed with the song demo Mihou sent to us for our duet. It wasn't what I expected but it also fits what I know of both of our personalities, so good job."

Phantom was honestly shocked at the feedback, not expecting to be praised for it.

He laughed sheepishly and thanked jay," To be honest, if Mihou hadn't lit a fire under my ass. I more than likely wouldn't have made something that speaks to humans as well as it does. Seriously, she scares me," He admitted.

A stagehand came over and started handing out ear mics and informed us that in an hour we'll be ready. So, excusing himself Phantom went to where Mihou was currently terrorizing some poor assistants, and informed her that everything was nearly complete.

Mihou, nearly broke her neck sharply turning to Phantom as those words left his mouth. He froze as Mihou didn't speak a word but silently turned to her 'helpers' (victims) and commanded they get him ready. 

What followed was traumatizing, He never wanted to go through that again but knew he had to five more times. Is it too late to give up yet?

Judging by Mihou's evil smirk, he's going to hazard a guess and say that YES, it is to late. Damnit.

(SHOWTIME)

Lights, Camera's, Cheers and Chants. It could be heard from nearly a block away. The stadium was packed, and Tickets sold out.

"GOOD EVENING, COAST CITY!!!! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME ACTION AND NOISE," The MC hyped up the crowd. Screams and yells filled with some kind of encouragement.

Phantom was in position, waiting for his cue, the outfit he's wearing right now is a little different from his normal Idol outfit. As he's Opening Mihou made it a point to match him with whatever the theme of his song is for maximum impact.

Shaking out of his thoughts, Phantom hears the MC announce him, as his stand slowly rises after the lights cut out.

(Crowd POV)

Darkness was all that could be seen, before suddenly the lights cut on blinding the crowd for a moment.

A bed is shown with someone sprawl on it as an alarm ring, scaring the person awake as music starts playing

"Wake up, blood-shot eye

It's PHANTOM, someone yells out as it becomes clear that Phantom is the mystery guest. He sits up, as the screen behind him shows the Masters acting out his lyrics. Jay as the boyfriend, Nya the girlfriend and the others as they're friends in the crossfire.

And it really makes me wonder

Phantom is using his Magic, making it look like on stage is an arguing couple as they try to go separate ways

Phantom is acting hungover, and failing to make things right with his girlfriend, but he's acting like he really just doesn't really care that they are fighting, and she might leave him

Phantom was panting, but the cheers and screams told him all he needed to know.

Gazing at the sea of faces all here just to support and view music from their favorite artist. He's never been more alive. Giving the stage to the Masters he's in Awe at how they captivated the crowd and hyped them up, he's more than ready to stun them with the surprise he and jay have plan for them. 

He has to get ready while there distracting there fans.
