"The great King Dominic, your grandfather, my little girl. He was brutally wounded in the battle against the Alik kingdom, he was about to die, so he thought of his little 8 year old daughter, if he died he would leave her alone, unable to protect her, so, he chose to start looking for some suitor for his daughter...Princess Ava."
"My mommy." Alyn said proudly raising her hands in the air.
"Yes, my little girl, your mommy." Said one person affectionately to her little daughter.
"What are you two talking about?" Said Ava walking into the room and sitting down next to her lover and daughter on the bed.
"Nothing, Mommy. We were just chatting about how you two fell in love." Said Alyn with a big smile on her face looking at her mother.
"Well that sounds amazing." Said Ava looking at her lover with a knowing smile.
"Can I listen too? I promise not to interrupt." Said Ava raising her hands in surrender.
Alyn looked at her with narrowed eyes and furrowed brows.
Literally Alyn's resemblance to Ava's lover was unmistakable.
"Okay, you can stay, Mommy. But please don't interrupt, I want to listen to the story carefully." Alyn said smiling and settling into Ava's arms, who was on her lover's side with her back leaning against the frame of the double bed they shared.
"Go on please, what happened next?" said Alyn excitedly.
"Well...mmm...ah yes...the king began the search for the most handsome and not so handsome princes, princesses and generals, that is, all those he deemed capable of reigning and caring for his daughter. But her daughter... well... she had other plans, she didn't want to marry someone who was only interested in winning the greatest trophy, Alyn. Besides, she wanted to marry for love, so the years passed and she turned 19..."
This story is about 2 totally different princesses with different lives.
One is cold to people (or at least those are the rumors) and feared by everyone, known as "the monster" because of the stories that have formed over time, and the famous metal mask she always wears, that mask instills fear in her opponents on the war field and people outside her kingdom, she became very young General by her father.
General Beatrice Young, daughter of the king and General William Young (recognized and respected for being a great king, one of the best generals, until Beatrice took that place) and Queen Alice (beautiful and loved by everyone in her kingdom, she was an excellent queen, she took care of all her inhabitants and loved her precious daughter).
But unfortunately the queen died of a mysterious and incurable disease when Beatrice was 8 years old. Her father, King William Young, remarried 3 years after the death of Queen Alice to the maid Eleanor. This woman made Beatrice's life impossible because she reminds her of the late queen and given, that the woman wants to rule the kingdom at her whim.
We have the second princess, Ava Silva. Daughter of the acclaimed King Dominic and Queen Elizabeth, her kingdom is one of the most beautiful and they are known for having a large army of warriors, their agriculture and of course, the kind of people they are (kind).
The princess, like her mother, is known for her beauty and her gentleness in the kingdom and outside of it. Everyone wants to marry her and call her their wife, however, she is very difficult to deal with, whenever her father brought a suitor, she would make them run for their lives... literally.
With the help of her kitty named Trix (a big tigress, but not mean, at least not to everyone) she would chase away all the suitors. One day her father got angry because of his daughter's stubbornness of not wanting to accept any suitor and marry someone....
"Ava!!! it's unbelievable your stubbornness, I have brought you almost all the princes, generals, princesses from all the kingdoms and you don't want to marry any of them, the last one you chased away with Trix's help". He said pointing to the tiger sleeping on his royal bed next to the throne.
"It's not my fault they are all airheads and only interested in your throne and having me as a trophy, father." said Ava angrily.
Her mother was sitting on her throne trying to calm the king by running her hands down his back and sending pleading looks at her daughter.
"No, mother. This time I will not be silent, father must understand that I will not marry anyone I have no feelings for."
"Silence!" scolded the king raising his voice, causing a great echo in the palace hall, standing up in front of Ava and drawing Trix's attention.
"Enough, Ava, I've had enough." Said the king angrily to his daughter who looked at him in surprise.
"I made an arrangement with King William" At that mention from the king, Trix roared.
"Quiet Trix or you will sleep in the palace garden today." Said the king to the tiger, who lay down and settled into his bed without a sound.
"As I was saying, I have come to an agreement with King William, he has a daughter, Princess and General Beatrice Young." Ava recognized that name and furrowed her eyebrows.
