Dehya: “Aether is that you?” she asked
Aether looks up at the towering mercenary
Dehya: “I thought that was you” she said with a smile “what are you doing out here? I thought you would be going home for the night” she said
Aeth: “nah I decided to stay up a bit after I took paimon home” he said “now I’m just out here relaxing on the grass with the stars as my view” he said with a relaxed face
Dehya chuckles at Aether’s carefree attitude
Dehya: “hehe I see well mind if this merc joins you?” she asked
Aether nods and pats a spot right next to him as she walks over and lays down next to him
Dehya: “man after everything That’s happened in the past few days makes this view all the more worth it” she said “finding out about king Deshert, Fighting the akademiya, saving our archon. It all feels like just yesterday I was just starting out as a merc” she said
Aeth: “yea I know what ya mean” he said “when I arrived in Sumeru I wasn’t expecting to be doing all of this” he said
Dehya: “yea no kidding… by the way I meant to tell you this at the festival” she said “I wanted to thank you for helping us save our archon and our nation” she said looking at aether with a smile
Aeth: “hey I couldn’t have done it alone without you and the others” he said “this was no one man operation”
Dehya: “True but you Stepped up to save our archon from her imprisonment” she said “this is not your nation and at any given point in time you could have left but you didn’t. you stayed and you saved our archon and for that I thank you” she said looking at aether with a happy smile
Aeth: “thanks” he said blushing a little bit
As aether was blushing letting the flame mane’s compliments get to his head dehya took this time to admire the traveler’s charm & looks
Dehya: “golden like-hair, yellow eyes that gleam like Stars, and a smile that you would pay to see” she whispered “you are just as beautiful as everyone says” she said
Aeth: “Hmmm? Did you say something?” he asked now looking at her
Dehya: “UHHH no *cough cough* I didn’t say anything” she said hoping Aether wasn’t paying attention
Aeth: “well um ok if you say so I guess” he said looking confused scratching his head
Dehya: “ahem, anyways… do you wanna hang out tomorrow just you & me?” she asked
Aeth: “sure I’m not doing anything tomorrow and it’s not like I’m going to fontaine anytime soon” he said “ not mention I could use a break from paimon” he said as he laughed
Dehya: “hehe but cool we’ll meet up in sumeru city around noon-ish that sound alright?”
Aeth: “yea that’s fine” he said as he stood up shaking the grass outta his hair “well I think I’ma gonna head home. You have a goodnight and I’ll see ya tomorrow” he said leaving waving goodbye
Dehya: “goodnight aether see ya tomorrow” she said as aether was leaving “heh tonight was a very beautiful night” she said smiling
As the mercenary was smiling up at the stars this night was coming to a close as she got up and headed home to prepare for tomorrow.
