The human man was carrying a briefcase in one hand and a suit jacket in the other as he strolled along the beach, observed by the mermaid
Young Woo had already seen him numerous times, always on his way to work
Something was different today.
Jun Ho had a troubled, yet thoughtful appearance.
She moved in closer to the shore as her curiosity overcame her.
Jun Ho looked up and noticed her for the first time as she walked toward him.
He took a step back as his surprised eyes widened.
Young Woo gently urged him not to be fearful, her voice soothing to his ears. "I won't harm you,"
She swam closer, her long hair glistening in the sunlight as he looked in awe.
He had never seen anyone or anything like her.
