[Minor Family House]
"VEGAS! Hurry up! Venice is going to be late for school!" Pete says while grabbing Vegas's car keys from one of the bodyguards. Pete was about to get in the car but he stopped when he saw his son and his husband come out of the house. "Look at me papa! Don't I look cool!" Venice said. Pete smiled and said "Yeah baby. You look great." Venice smiled. Vegas opened one of the car doors and Venice hopped in the backseat. When Venice was buckled in, Vegas closed the door, looked up and noticed his husband was staring at him.
"What?" Vegas asked. Pete chuckled and said "Why is our son dressed for winter when it's summer?" Vegas laughed nervously and said "Those extra clothes are for protection." "Protection from what? He's going to school. Not to war." Pete said. Vegas chuckled and said "I know. But you never know. He could need protection from something at school." "Like what? Markers? Crayons?" Pete said. Pete stood and thought about something for a second. "Oh, I know.......toys!" Pete said sarcastically.
Vegas sighed and said "Okay fine. I know I'm being silly. It's just that.... it's our baby's first day at a real school, and I'm hella nervous. I'm so nervous, I feel like crying right now." Pete smiled at his husband and then walked around the car to him. "Vegas. Honey. It's okay. I understand that you're nervous. I'm nervous too, but I'm also really excited. Our little boy is growing up." He said while caressing Vegas's arms. Vegas looked up at his husband and said "I know.....I guess I'm just not ready for him to grow up yet. Right now he's 4. Soon he'll be a teenager, then he'll become his own man and I'm just not ready." Vegas started tearing up. "I want him to stay a baby forever."
Pete giggled. Then he hugged his husband, and said "You are too cute." When they stopped hugging, Pete put his finger under Vegas's chin, lifted his head up so that Vegas was looking at him and said "Unfortunately. That won't happen. Venice will grow up one day, but don't worry. No matter how old he gets, he'll always be our baby. That'll never change. He's stuck with us for life, and we're stuck with him. Okay?" Vegas smiled and said "You're right babe. No matter what, he will always be our baby." Pete smiled and nodded.
Vegas calmed himself down a little more and said "Okay. I'm ready." Pete smiled and said "Are you sure?" Vegas kissed Pete and said "Yeah. Let's get our baby to school. We don't want him to be late on his first day right?" Pete smiled and said "Right!" Vegas and Pete kissed again, and then they got into the car. When Pete started up the car, he asked "Okay? Is everyone ready?" Vegas said "Yes." Pete looked back at Venice and saw him looking sad. "Venice? Sweetie? Are you okay?" Vegas turned around and looked at Venice. Venice nodded his head 'Yes' and said "Yes papa. I'm okay. It's just that when you guys were talking, I saw daddy looking sad, and I got worried." Vegas and Pete smiled. Pete then said "Don't worry Venice. Daddy was just sad because he isn't ready for you to go to school yet. You going to school means that you're growing up, and daddy isn't ready for you to grow up yet."
Venice smiled, took off his seatbelt, and reached forward to hug Vegas. Vegas smiled, and hugged him back. Venice then said "Don't be sad daddy. I may be growing up, but that doesn't mean anything. I'll always be here for you and papa. Okay?" Vegas smiled and said "Okay." Venice and Vegas stopped hugging. Venice then grabbed one of Vegas and Pete's hands, looked at them and said "I love you daddy, and I love you too papa..... and I always will. Okay?" Vegas and Pete smiled at their son, and then Pete said "We love you too." Vegas then said "And we always will." Venice smiled at his parents, and then he let go of Vegas and Pete's hands. Then he put his seatbelt back on, smiled, and said "Okay. I'm ready now." Pete smiled and said "Okay. Let's go. Oh! And Venice? I'm going to fix your clothes up a little before you get out the car okay?" Venice smiled and said "Okay papa." Pete smiled at how cute his son was, and then drove off.

[At The School]
Vegas and Pete stopped by the front desk to get Venice a name tag. Then they walked Venice to his classroom. Pete knocked on the door, and a lady came to the door, smiled and said "Hi. I'm Ms.Wong. Welcome, and you are......" Venice smiled and said "Hello Ms. Wong. I'm Venice. Nice to meet meet you." Ms. Wong smiled and said "Nice to meet you Venice. Are you ready to have fun today?" "Yes ma'am" Venice said. Then he turned around to his parents. Vegas and Pete bent down to Venice's level. Pete then said "Okay sweetie. Be good. Okay?" Venice smiled and "Okay." Vegas then said "Have fun Ven, and if anything bad happens or if you just want to leave class early, don't be scared to call daddy okay? Daddy will come and get you. Okay?" Venice chuckled, hugged Vegas and said "Okay." Vegas and Pete kissed Venice on his cheeks and then sent him inside the classroom.
Ms. Wong smiled at Vegas and Pete when she saw that they both were tearing up. "You two are the absolute cutest. Don't worry. Your baby is in great hands okay? I promise." Pete sniffled and said "We know. It's just......seeing our baby like this is just putting us in our feels." Ms. Wong smiled and said "That's understandable. I cried too when my little one first went to school. In fact all the parents that came and dropped off their kids, cried. It's been an emotional day for everyone." Pete smiled. Vegas sniffled and said "I just realized something....." Then he turned to Pete and said "You're crying too!" Pete chuckled and said "Yeah... I admit it. I'm very emotional right now. I mean come on. Look at our baby." Pete pointed at Venice. Who was coloring with one of the boys at his table. Vegas smiled as he watched his son.
Vegas and Pete watched their son for a few more mintutes and then they thanked Ms. Wong and then left. Once they got into the car, Vegas then said "Okay. We've got a few hours to kill. What do you want to do?" Pete then said "How about we go shopping, and buy Venice a gift for completing his first day of school?" Vegas smiled and said "That sounds great." Pete was about to start the car up, but Vegas stopped him by grabbing his face and kissing him. Pete pulled back and said "What was that for?" Vegas smiled and said "It's kind of a thank you. You helped ease my nervousness earlier, and I'm so happy." Pete smiled and said "Awwwww." Vegas and Pete kissed again. Passionately. After about 2 minutes, Pete pulled away and said "Okay. Let's go because if we continue we'll end up doing something crazy in the school parking lot, and I'm not here to give any of teachers nor any of the parents a show." Vegas laughed and said "You're right. Let's go. We can continue this later. At home. After we finish shopping, and before it's time to pick up Venice." Pete smiled and said "Deal. We have 8 hours to spare anyway. Let's go." Vegas and Pete put their seatbelts on. Then Vegas sat back in his seat and smiled. Pete started the car up, and drove off.
