Bakugou had never really noticed you before.
He knew that you were in Class 2A, like him, and that you had spent the past year training with everyone. He knew that your quirk allowed you to change the state of matter of different compounds, into solid, liquid, and gas. He also knew that you were considered one of, if not the most attractive girls in the class. You were well liked by everyone, but Bakugou didn't care much about you. After all, you were just another extra he had to surpass.
Until today.
When Aizawa had paired you up in a one on one sparring match, Bakugou didn't really care. He'd defeat you easily, and move on.
"You're sparring with (Y/n)?" Kirishima asked, "Watch out man, she beat my ass during training yesterday."
Bakugou scoffed. "Shut up Shitty Hair, she's not that strong. If you lost to her, that's your own fault."
"Hey man, I'm just warning you. Just don't come crying to me when you lose!" He lightly punched him in the arm.
Bakugou growled and shoved him off. "Like hell I'm gonna lose! I'll destroy her without even trying!"
So when he stepped up to the mat to face you, he was feeling pretty confident. In fact, he had a pretty good idea of how the fight would go. He'd start off with a big right hook like always, and continuously pummel you with explosions until you gave up. Aizawa blew his whistle to start the match, and Bakugou swung his gauntlet around, ready to crush you.
Except you weren't there. What the fuck?! Bakugou thought. Where did she go? That's when a sharp chunk of ice shot at him from above. Bakugou quickly dodged and looked up.
There you were, hovering above him as you aimed your ice towards him. How the fuck did you get up there? As far as he knew, your quirk didn't involve flight.
Whatever. This was annoying, sure, but nothing he couldn't deal with. As he evaded your ice attacks, Bakugou aimed his explosions upwards in an attempt to get you to crash back down. Unfortunately, you managed to dodge all of them. Now you were making it rain droplets of water onto the ground. This bitch is crazy if she thinks a bit of rain is going to stop me.
He continued sending explosions your way, although it was admittedly more difficult in the rain. Again, you kept dodging. Now Bakugou was really getting mad. Who does this girl think she is? This should have been a thirty second match, tops. With a yell, Bakugou condensed his remaining nitroglycerin into his signature move, an AP shot.
As the smoke cleared, he looked around for your body on the ground. But he couldn't find it. When he realized you hadn't been shot, he tried frantically to dodge your inevitable next attack. But somehow, he couldn't move.
He looked down to see that his feet were frozen to the floor. So that's what the rain was for. She was planning to trap me. Bakugou fired up his quirk to break himself out when he felt his entire body freeze up. You had completely trapped him in ice. He tried to break out with his quirk, but his gauntlets were frozen from the inside out. He was stuck.
You gently lowered yourself to the ground and walked up to him. You looked over Bakugou as if you were admiring your work. Then you said to him:
"I win."
You weren't gloating or trying to humiliate him, simply stating a fact. Your face showed no sign of malice or contempt, and this angered Bakugou even more. Even when you released your hold on him by melting the ice, he still felt frozen in place. Bakugou stared at you in disbelief as you made your way back to the others.

"Man, Bakugou really got his ass handed to him today huh?" Kaminari said, plopping down on the couch.
"Yeah... if I know him he's probably not taking it too well." Kirishima responded.
"That (Y/n) chick's a real cutie! Anyone who can put Bakugou in his place is worth it in my book. Think I should shoot my shot?"
"Sure, go for it. But you should probably wait until Bakugou calms down a bit."
"Speaking of which, where is he? He swore he'd beat me at Smash and I gotta hold him to his word."
"Probably sulking in his room. I wouldn't bother him unless you want to face his wrath."

Bakugou's mind kept whirling as he stepped out of the elevator onto his floor. What was this girl's deal? How did she beat him so easily? A range of emotions swirled up inside him; humiliation, rage, jealousy. But most of all was the desire to take you down once and for all.
That was why when he saw Mina on the other side of the hall, he cornered her. "Oi Raccoon Eyes! Where the hell is she?"
"Where is who?"
"That girl (Y/n)! You're friends with her right? So where is she?!"
"Jeez, calm down. I'm pretty sure she's in the support lab. Are you still mad she beat you earlier?"
Bakugou stormed off with a "tch" and started making his way back towards the elevator. As he angrily jammed the button and the door closed, only one thought remained in his mind.
I'm gonna crush that girl if it's the last thing I do.
