Chapter 1: AGENT CARTERJASON WILKES

Summary:

Jason Jr, Peggy Carter, and Jason Wilkes’ young toddler knows that a certain something
is ‘up’ he just does not know exactly WHAT

Chapter Text

Mother and Son sing a song together (and ‘play out’ the bits where required):

M: What’s your name, Little Boy?

S: My name is Lamb-y.

M: Lamb-y what, Little Boy?

S: LAMB-Y KISS YA!! (which he does in the midst of loud guffaws).

During bath time Peggy says “This little piggy says wash your ears, you wee scamp!”

Little JJ bats water on his Mom, exclaiming “You’re SILLY, Mommy-toes ain’t the same as Little Piggies!”

“Don’t say ‘ain’t’ Love-it’s isn’t, yes? Now if we don’t hurry we’ll be late and Daddy will be cross.”

In the anteroom of his parents’ Southern California coastal home JJ ticks off the items contained in his Black Panther knapsack:
‘WaWa (water)-check!; Shocks (socks)-check! He names a few more items before finally announcing himself ready. On the way
to meet JJ’s daddy the two sing songs from the ‘Cocomelon’ collection. Stopping in front of their destination Pegs allows Jason’s
Head Of Security Jocko Brein to open the driver's side door, then the rear where they unbuckle and lift out Little JJ.

“Ya gettin’ soft Little Man!” he jokes, poking a large blunt finger into the toddler’s belly. “YOU!!” JJ retorts, then zigs
and zags around him, faster and faster, and then zips under the security gate dividing the building's entrance from the public.

Peggy screams “JUNIOR!!” only to grin widely when tall, dark, and gorgeous Jason Wilkes appears with the giggling and squirming
toddler slung over one shoulder.

“An’ who is that ya have with ye, my Bonny Boy?” the auburn-haired beauty calls gaily.

“I NOT a”-JJ gasps between peaks of laughter before his dad digs a couple of fingers into his little ribs, inspiring another gale
gale of mirth.

“Unhand him this instant you brute!” Peggy raises a small fist while pulling her man into a toe-curling buss. “He’s been on
and on about Father’s Day the entire time and ‘ooh how 100% wonnnnderful his darling DaDa is’…phooey!”

"His Daddy is one hell of a man!" Jason quips."

JJ tells "Gimme GOM!" from his perch on his father's shoulders.

"Jason Lucious Wilkes Carter," Peggy says sternly. "You know very well that that is NOT how one makes a request. Now ask Mummy
properly."

The precocious fellow says "NO!" quite loudly. "Noooo!"

Snapping her handbag closed Peggy says "Very well; no 'chewy' for you. You Bad Bear!"

"Daaaaddddy!" JJ wails.

Jason shrugs: "Be nice to Mommy if you want a 'chewy'."

"Peeese, Mommy."

Peggy can't resist her adorable little boy. "Here you are, Love." To 'Big 'Jason, she says "Should we tell him about the n-e-w b-a-b-y"
yet?"

"BABY!" Little Jason exclaims, loudly.

Big Jasin held out his fist. "Bump it."

LJ did so, twice. "I bump it, Pegs," he said proudly.

"You DID, my lovely boy," Peggy agrees. "Well done!"

"I do it, Daddy!" the Wee Fellow crows. His father agrees that he 'do it' indeed. "He brings his partner in for a long, meaningful kiss.
JJ shouts "NO" and tries to push them apart, adding "MY Daddy!" His parents laugh, allowing him to separate them. With her thumb,
Peggy wipes the red remnants of her lipstick from the scientist's mouth. "Hand, please," she says and JJ dutifully takes her hand as
walk inside.

"There's the Wilkes, Carter, and Tiny Wilkes Family!" cries Jules, the establishment's hostess. "Your table is all set if you're ready: and
I'd keep a keen eye on this handsome little man-I'm not above buggering off daown unda with him!" Seated in his high chair JJ wastes
no time scribbling on the large sheet of paper printed with various animals; Jason and Peggy provide the waiter with their food orders
(along with chicken nuggets, french fries, and fruit punch for their son: his go-to meal). Jason signed the ticket alerting accounting
the meal is to be coded OE (Owner EXpense) before he and his family left. Near the front entrance, he stopped briefly to hand off
his key fob with instructions to drive his Audi Q5 to their home after closing.

Chapter 2: I, ROBOT

Summary:

Susan Calvin and Del Spooner Jr aka DJ plan for Del Spooner’s Father’s Day and
a surprise invitation from her parents changes their plans. For the better? : read on!

Chapter Text

Susan Calvin realized one morning-13 days or so before FD that she has no idea what to get for Spooner. She smiles down at Del Jr, playing
at her feet and coos “What say YOU, my Darling? Your Daddy is so difficult to shop for…oh, no; let’s get you a new diaper Mr. Poops!”

(A video call comes through while attending to the bay): “Hi, Mom..changing your ‘stank’ Grandchild…nothing-something I picked
up from Del.”

“Ah. My wonderful wonderful Son In Law: forgive me, Dear..an SIL would be a man who actually married my only daughter!”

“Mom..DJ is on the cusp of the ‘terrible twos’ and I am four weeks pregnant; at what point will you realize that this constant carping about
Spooner will NOT have the desired expect. He and I will marry or we will not-you and Daddy will accept him or you will not. We will be fine.”

“I’ve upset you, Dear; not my intention..I actually rang to ask if the three of you are free Father’s Day Sunday.”

Thoroughly surprised Calvin replies “I’ll ask: I expect Spooner in a few hours. Little Man wanna go Gramma’s house?”

“Yeeeeah!” DJ has both women in stitches, raising both thumbs in the ‘up’ position. Susan says “Why NOW, Mom? What’s going on.”

“THERE’S my best and grandest; most darling grandson!” Caroline Sperth says with absolute sincerity: neither she nor her husband
Wallace are fans of Metro Detective Lieutenant Del Spooner-his namesake is of course a different matter.

**

"Spooner," Calvin said spooning applesauce into their son's mouth, "My parents apparently want to celebrate with us on Sunday...
completely out of the blue."

Spooner chuckled archly. "Well, THAT'S new!"

She smiled as well. "That is an understatement." (At this point, RJ added HIS contribution to the conversation): "Mommy-YUM!"

"Yes, Sir; Mommy's sorry...here we are" and gives him more of the tasty pureed apple. "We're going, then?"

"You clearly want to, Calvin."

Calvin replied "I do. If life has taught us anything it's that we never know how long any of us have. I worry about you all
the time; I worry about our children as well-the world sees them as BLACK which makes me want to keep them locked
inside with us forever."

"True that."

Chapter 3: STATION 19-VICLEY/SURRERA

Summary:

Vic Hughes has a novel idea: celebrate the station's Fathers all at once in a combined party on June 18th. At this
point Vic, her Mom Lenya, Andy, and Elena are on board.

Chapter Text

The essential role of FATHERS in their offspring's life can't ever be overstated. To younger children Daddy can be
be equal parts Super Hero, Safe Place the man they base their hoped-for future husband on.

“I makin’ a toobox for Daddy-he can put alla his sku-divers HERE; his wenches an’ pwy-yus HERE”-

“And his hammer here?” offered Lenya Hughes. “NO, Gamma! OH; wayaminit-sowy Gamma thass wight…Wuvyou!”

Lenya “*Sprytny sprytny clopiec*!” (clever clever boy!) Grandma Lenya laughs.

“*Stodki i inteligigenty!* (also cute and smart!) adds the Clever Boy.

“Alright, Clever Boy-let’s get you some ‘um’ (food). AND YOU, ‘Gamma’…are we combining my Dad’s and This One’s Dad into one Father’s Day?”

“As you well know, Victoria, Mr. Anthony Hughes rathers to not have a celebration or a party at all if I leave it to him.”

“Andy—my friend Andy; you’ve met her—she mentioned a joint FD for her Dad and her husband Robert; we could do
that, do you think Mommy?”

Lenya agrees that the idea has plenty of merits. They decide that Vic will make the call to Andy after the baby’s nap.

"*Que usted cree, Mi Amor--festjamos el Domingo con su Tio Lucas, su Abuelo y Papi*? (What do you think, My Love--
shall we celebrate with Uncle Lucas, Grandfather, and Daddy on Sunday?)

"NOOO!" Robert Junior (RJ) yells, he spits a mouthful of applesauce onto the tray of his highchair and giggles outrageously.

"*Siguele, Huerco Fregado y le doy UNA*!" (Keep it up you Spoiled Brat and I'll hit you!). The infant starts bawling instantly
requiring his contrite Mommy to take him up quickly--"It's OK, Papa; Mommy's sorry Sweet Boy Boy....wuuuhwuuhwuuuh! Shhhh;
Shhhh, it's OK, you're okay..."

Elena Herrera agrees that the joint celebration is an excellent idea and immediately puts forth several ideas about decor,
what food to serve, and whether to serve alcohol. "Do we hire childcare or take turns with the small children?" Andy's mom asks.

"I thought that Jack's *novia* (girlfriend)-could 'volunteer': her son is 8, I think...Jack's 'surrogate' Mom Marcia might
help also."

Elena chimes in "*Y mi hermana Sandra, tu Prima Hermana Michelle*"... (and my sister Sandra, your Sister Cousin Michelle)...

Andy says that she'll contact the Crabby Granny Nanny Service to set up 'in case' childcare.

"*Y Mi Bebito Prescioso porque llora*?! (And why is my precious baby crying?!) The older Herrera demands.

"*Chille*" Andy corrects. "He's WHINING because I scolded him for talking back."

"*Tan Lindo*" (So beautiful) the Grandmother insists. "Pobrecito" (poor baby).

CONFERENCE CALL BETWEEN ANDY, VIC, AND MIRANDA

Miranda was 'all-in' on the idea of a combined Father's Day celebration: her only question is whether daddies from the medical
center can be included. The other women agree that they should be. "Then Hunt, Lincoln, Koracik, Avery...I'll email a complete
list to each of you by Tuesday, if that's alright she said. "Who's organizing the food?"

Vic said "Pirogis from my parent's restaurant; also Goldwasser: it's Polish liqueur from Gdańsk-that's a city near the Baltic Sea."

"Mom and I doing pernil : it's good; I promise that you'll love it...AND arroz con gandules-Puerto Rican rice with
pigeon peas."

"Ohhhh!" Viv moaned. "That sounds so GOOOD...do we have to wait for Sunday?!!"

The group shared a laugh, and agree to a second conference call the following night to strategize again.

Chapter 4: BLINDSPOT (REPATA)

Summary:

Tasha Zapata cradled her small baby bump with one hand while stirring the pot of stew she’d prepared for her man: Edgar Reade’s dinner. She smiled when considering that in a few days Eddie will celebrate his third Father’s Day since the birth of their 1st child Natalia—NAT…

Chapter Text

Tasha Zapata cradled her small baby bump with one hand while stirring the pot of stew she’d prepared for her man
and their daughter's evening meal. She paused in her cooking to move to the swinging doors of the kitchen to watch
Baby Nat toddling between her tox box and her Daddy, presenting him with random plushies, building blocks, dollies,

etc. 'What an incredible man' she muses to herself. 'He provides for us and makes sure that we know how much he loves
and cares for us every day. He's one of a kind and my best friend. When I think back on how I nearly lost him-once to another
woman and again in that drone attack in Greenland-I want to kick myself!'

When she gave birth to Nat the plan was for her to return to the CIRG after six months...half a year became a year; which in turn became permanent after she informed Reade that leaving their baby for 8-hour shifts (or longer) was suddenly unthinkable to her. "I just can't imagine it, Reade: just the THOUGHT of not being with her all day is unthinkable." And Reade agreed.

"We're OK-I haven't spent much of the money I earned as a stockbroker; that portfolio is still growing. We're fine without your salary."

"Thank you, Baby. I can't miss a day of her Reade: imagine me saying that even two years ago. Everyone said it: Allie, Weller's sister Sarah; and it's TRUE. I love you with all that I am and I've risked my life for you so many times but for NAT : she has to be the priority."

"Of course. Of course, she is."

Tasha smiles warmly at her life mate and says "Try to spend more time with her? She's getting so big."

"I will."
