Work Text:

When Dream found out that he had gotten his girlfriend of two months pregnant he was terrified.

She told him that she was going to have the baby but she didn’t want to keep it.

He instantly made the decision that he would raise the baby.

She broke up with him.

Finding out you’re having a baby to then turn around and get broken up with was earth-shattering.

He didn’t know how anyone in his life would react to any of this but he didn’t care because he knew he was going to raise his baby.

When he told his mom she was so happy for him. When he told her the mother wasn’t staying she understood and promised she’d be there for him whenever he needed her.

He cried. A lot.

When he told Sapnap he was overjoyed. Albeit a little confused on how it all came to be. But once Dream explained, he couldn’t stop talking about being an uncle and how he would spoil the baby rotten.

Again. He cried. A lot.

When he told George. Well, George was more level-headed. He made sure that Dream was ok with the decision he made and once Dream had reassured him that he was, George was supportive.

As you probably know by now. He cried. A lot.

George never said anything about being the kid's uncle which Dream didn’t like to dwell on too much.

^*^*^*

When his ex went into labor he had never been more stressed in his life.

Everything was set up at his house for a baby but he still felt underprepared.

What if he didn’t buy the right kind of diapers? What if the blankets were too scratchy? What if he bought the wrong kind of formula? What if he put the car seat in wrong?

He knew none of those could be true because he had made sure everything he had bought was the best of the best and after building each of her -he was having a daughter holy shit he still couldn’t believe it- things he had double checked making sure they were all safe. Even going as far as having his dad come over to check everything.

Being in the hospital always stressed him out.

Being in the hospital with his ex waiting for his baby to be born was the most stressful thing of his life.

After hours of labor, his baby was finally there.

His ex had requested to be put in a separate room and Dream was left all alone with the little one.

“My baby” he whispered as he rocked her, looking at her cute little nose and chubby little cheeks “I’ll love you forever.”

He had never been more in love in his life.

This little girl was his and he was going to protect her until the day that he died.

“Come on baby. Dadas got to call Georgie” Dream said chasing after his little girl.

Jacie Cane Anderson his little two -almost three- year old.

He still couldn’t believe that he was a dad.

“Geo Geo wanna call,” Jacie said and instantly stopped running and started jumping up and down.

“Ok, my girl. We gotta calm down though. Geo is probably sleepy” Dream reasoned as he sat on the couch.

“I’ll shh,” Jacie said failing at a whispering voice.

“Ok come over here. I’ll call ‘em” the older blond said.

His perfect little Angel ran over to the couch and climbed up on his lap.

“Dada?” She asked as she played with his hair -something she did since she was a baby as a self-soothing thing and also a Dream soothing thing-

“Yea, baby?” He asked as he poked her belly.

“I miss Geo. When he comin'?” The little one asked sadly.

“We have the countdown, remember? Just 2 more days. Uncle Sap is gonna pick him up and bring him here to meet us.” Dream reassured.

“M’kay. Call him” she demanded making the older chuckle and do as told.

“Geooooooo” she whined as the phone rang.

“Patience baby patience” Dream tutted.

“Geo! Dadas boring,” the little one said right when George answered the call, making George laugh and Dream playfully act hurt.

“I can't even imagine. Uncle Sap and your dad are so boring. Don’t worry I’ll be there in a few days and you will never be bored again” George assured.

“I miss you” she pouted.

“I miss you too sweet pea but I’ll be there so so so soon” George responded smiling big.

“Don like tat word” Jacie grumbled and pouted.

“I don’t either, little one” Dream pouted as well.

“You guys are both so pouty” George chuckled. “How’s Sapnap doing?”

“Sap playin wif Karl” Jacie informed making George smile.

“You’re getting so big. I can't believe it” George said.

Dream couldn’t believe he had gotten this lucky with the people that were in his life. Sapnap and George had welcomed his daughter with open arms and he was so lucky to have them.

“Big girl,” she said with a smile and a nod.

“No you’re still my baby” Dream disagreed making the little one scowl at him.

“No baby” she huffed.

“She’s just like you” George laughed making the little girl shake her head.

“Not dada. Same as Geo” she exasperated.

“She’s right. Dramatic like you” Dream said as he admired the little girl sitting on his lap.

“Can’t wait to see you” George sighed out.

“Me happy,” the little girl said.

“I’m glad” George responded airily.

^*^*^*

“Sappy gotta hurry” the little one rushed as she followed after Sapnap with his keys. “Get Geo. Go go go.”

“I’m trying, bean. I don’t know where my keys are,” he said looking around the kitchen.

“Ugh. I say I have dem. Spootid” a very grumpy Jacie said, making Sapnap chuckle and pluck the keys out of her hands.

“Hey, we don’t say bad words. Even when you say them incorrectly. Remember those words hurt people's feelings” Dream said softly, reprimanding his daughter.

“Sorry, Sap. Wanna see Geo” Jacie said antisily.

“It’s ok. I’m also very excited” Sapnap said as he put his shoes on.

“You ready meet him. Me didn’t” she huffed, making the two older men chuckle.

“You’re gonna hold that against me forever aren’t you, beanie?” Sapnap asked.

“Yes. Dada sad ‘n me sad.” She grumbled.

“I already apologized,” Sapnap whined.

“When did I end up with two children?” Dream asked, picking up the little one.

“I’m not children” Jacie dramatically gasped and pouted. Dream smiled.

“Ok well, you two have fun. I’m gonna go get your boyfriend. Be back in an hour. Love you” Sapnap rushed out, leaving before anyone could keep talking to him.

“Boyfriend?” Jacie asked making Dream blush.

“Geo boyfriend ‘ike Karl saps boyfriend?” She asked, cocking her head to the side.

“What have we done” Dream groaned as he rubbed his hands over his face.

“Sapnap and Karl aren’t boyfriends and me and George aren’t boyfriends” Dream explained, making the younger one shake her head. Not believing him one bit.

“You say Karl ‘n sap are” she stated sassily.

“I was messing with them” Dream tried to reason “just like Sap messes with me and George about it.”

“So I no have girlfriend?” She asked, sounding genuinely heartbroken.

Dream couldn’t contain his laughter.

“No baby. You have friends that are girls. And you can have a girlfriend one day if you want but not yet.” He explained.

“No boyfriends?” She asked.

“That’s correct” he responded.

After a couple minutes of silence she grew a panicked look on her face.

“Art fo’ Geo. Get it out” Jacie frantically said out of the blue making Dream laugh at her abrupt change in conversation.

“While I go get it would you like a snackie?” Dream asked and the little one responded while a very enthusiastic nod.

“I put blueberries and cheez it’s out on your ‘lady table’. I’ll be right back” Dream said as he sat the little one down by her ‘lady table’ as she so graciously named it.

She had so many little quirks about her.

Such as the little faces she made in different circumstances. Or the different words she had for certain things like ‘lady table’ for her table, ‘frogert’ for her favorite ice cream, and many others.

Dream couldn’t believe that that little human was his and he couldn’t believe how well-spoken she was.

When he came back from her playroom with all her pictures she made for George over the years she was sitting at the table eating cheez it’s and humming one of her favorite songs.

‘Baby got back’

Don’t ask Dream how she knows that song.

He has a sneaking suspicion that Sapnap played it once and she became obsessed.

“JC I got the pictures out. Wanna put them in his bedroom?” The tall blond asked as the little one looked up at him.

“Mhm. Wash hands?” She said as she stuck her hands out showing him the blueberry mess she had made.

“Of course, my girl” Dream grinned and set down the art on the island.

She made grabby hands at him so he picked her up and took her over to the sink.

“Wash ‘m. Wash ‘m” she sang as she rinsed her hands off, making Dream chuckle.

“You have a beautiful singing voice,” he said dramatically making her giggle.

“Thank you. From you” She said instantly making his heart melt and a smile light up his face.

“Too precious,” he said and kissed her cheek.

“Done” she squirmed. Dream dried her hands off and went to put her down.

“Hold you” She said as she latched on to him like a koala.

He gladly held her and grabbed her art off the island making his way up to George’s room.

“Little scared,” she said and nuzzled her head into his neck.

“About what?” He asked stopping to sit down in the game area at the top of the stairs.

“Geo” she stated.

“What about him?” He asked softly. Knowing that she could easily get overwhelmed by all her little emotions.

“What if he no love me? Like momma” she whimpered, absolutely breaking Dreams heart.

“Oh, baby. He’s gonna love you. I promise. He’s told me so many times how much he loves you. It’ll be nothing like your momma” Dream assured as he rubbed her back. Not elaborating on the whole ‘momma’ situation.

“You sure?” She asked, looking up at him.

“I snotty promise” He nodded softly.

“Notty ‘romise” she sniffled as a little smile made its way onto her face.

A ‘snotty promise’ is the highest ranking of a promise. If you ever break that promise you owe the other person twenty dollars and you have to clean their room. It’s something him and Sapnap had made up when they moved in together right after Jacie was born.

“Let's go put the art in his room how about?” Dream said and stood up.

“M’tay” she agreed rubbing her eyes.

^*^*^*

George:
Sapnap said we’re about 5 minutes away

Dream:
Ok moms here with Jacie so we can vlog and then you can meet her.

George:
Cant wait :):):):):):):):)

Dream was so endeared.

“Sap and George are almost here. You know the plan” He directed at his mom making her nod.

“I’ll leave right when you’re done with your filming,” She said as she built something with ABC letter blocks.

“Thank you” he said sincerely “Really it means the world to me.”

“Don’t even” she brushed off “go get your boy.”

Dream blushed.

“I’ll be right back, baby. Like five minutes” Dream said and kissed his daughter’s cheek.

“Be brave” she said and poked his knee.

“I’ll be brave if you’ll be brave,” he said to which she nodded and he took that as his sign to leave.

“Ok love you. I’ll be back” he rushed and closed the playroom door.

He took a deep breath and made his way to the foyer.

^*^*^*

“I’m nervous to meet her,” George said after Sapnap left to tell Dreams mom she could leave.

Sapnap had truly been the superstar of all superstars today.

He made sure the both of them were comfortable when they were about to meet. And now he’s making sure Jacie was comfortable as well.

Dream would be sure to pay for Sapnaps dinners for a month and buy him some of the Pokémon cards he had heard him and Karl talking about.

“She’s nervous to meet you too,” Dream said as he fidgeted with his sleep ring.

“Really?” The brunette asked.

“Yea, she said she was scared that you wouldn’t love her. Like her momma” Dream recounted, sadness seeping into his voice “I reassured her that you love her and she made me ‘snotty promise.’”

George chuckled.

“I forgot about snotty promises,” he said, chuckling.

The sound of the front door closing scared the both of them.

“Well, you know what that means,” Dream said as he started making his way to the playroom George following behind. When suddenly a little figure ran smack dab into George’s legs.

“We’ll hello to you too,” George said as he got down to her level.

“I tried getting her to stay in there, but you know how she is,” Sapnap said out of breath.

“Thanks, Sap” Dream said, not able to take his eyes off his daughter and George.

“Miss you” she whispered as she wrapped her arms around George’s neck making George sway a little from the force and wrap his arms around her.

“I missed you too,” George said choked up.

Dream could hear Sapnap sniffling. But who was he to judge? He was standing there blinking back tears.

George stood up with her in his arms.

There was no way she was letting go anytime soon.

“No lettin’ go” She whined to which George instantly started rubbing her back.

“Don’t worry, baby. I won’t I’m right here” He said as he swayed her.

Dreams heart skipped multiple beats.

“I can take her while you change?” Dream suggested.

George looked hesitant.

“Your suitcase is already in your room. You can carry her up there and we’ll wait at the door for you to change. How does that sound?” Dream reasoned. Wanting the oldest to be comfortable.

“I like that idea,” George said.

“Lead the way” Dream motioned toward the stairs and followed behind George Sapnap following behind Dream.

Once they got to George’s room transitioning Jacie from George to Dream was difficult.

“No stay with Geo. Hold Geo” She whined and gripped onto George tighter.

“I gotta change my clothes. I’ll hand you over to dada for 2 minutes and then I’ll be right back” George reasoned, making Dreams' heart melt.

“2 minutes?” She asked and George nodded “‘Notty ‘romise?”

“Snotty promise” he assured.

She unlatched herself from him and let him hand her over to Dream.

“Hurry” she whined and with that George quickly went to his room.

“I think my heart has officially melted” Dream sighed out as he rubbed the little ones back.

“You big simp,” Sapnap said with a smile.

“I think I almost became one with the floor during that.” Dream said flustered.

“Sap. Come ere” Jacie said and waved her arm around so he would come closer. “Hug us.” She demanded.

Sapnap complied and gave the two a side hug.

“You have turned us into mushy men, beanie” Sapnap sighed.

“Mush is a silly word” she giggled, making the two older men smile and agree instantly.

“You have all of us wrapped around your little chubby finger,” Dream said fondly.

Sapnap let go of the hug and a couple of seconds later George walked out of the room wearing a hoodie and shorts.

Jacie dived toward him making him quickly put his arms out to hold the little one.

“My Geo,” she said and kissed his cheek making the men go even more mushy.

^*^*^*

“‘Nd den I jumped ‘n say RAWR. It scared him” The little one re-enacted the time she scared Dream so much he screamed.

Sapnap had gone upstairs to talk to Karl -of course- while the two others were left in the family room to play with the younger girl.

“That sounds so silly,” George said animatedly.

“What kind of pizza do you guys want?” Dream said walking back into the family room.

Jacie paused thought and responded “Cheese and feta” quickly going back to playing with the dinosaurs.

“I’ll have whatever you have” George shrugged.

“Ok, so olives and cheese got it,” Dream said knowing George would hate it. Even though it was his personal favorite.

“Nevermind. You’re gross. I’ll have pepperoni” George gagged.

“Olives gross. Yuck” Jacie said, making a disgusted face.

“And this is why you’re my favorite,” George said dramatically.

Dream rolled his eyes and went into the kitchen to order the pizza.

“I don’t have a girlfriend” the little one sighed in defeat shocking George at the sudden mood change.

“Not yet but one day you will. That is, if you want one of course ,” George said, trying not to laugh.

“Dada no boyfriend me no girl one. We losers” she groaned. George tried so hard to stifle his laugh.

“We don’t say that word sweet pea. Remember Dada says it’s a word that will hurt people's feelings?” He explained to the younger who was bouncing over to him on the couch.

“Sorry Geo.” She apologized as she laid on top of George.

“It’s ok, sweet pea.” He rubbed her back.

“Sleepy” she yawned as she put her hand in George’s hair.

George’s heart melted.

He couldn’t believe how easily she had accepted him into her life.

“I’m sleepy too” George agreed “I think dadas ordering pizza for us right now.”

“Pizza” she mumbled playing with the strands of George’s hair carefully.

“Pizza ‘s gonna be here in like 15 minutes,” Dream said making his way back into the family room instantly freezing.

He couldn’t believe the sight in front of him. His daughter was fast asleep on George. George dozing off as well.

The man he’d loved for longer than he could even remember. He still couldn’t even believe he was there.

Two of his favorite people were all cuddled up on the couch and he absolutely melted.

Wanting to keep this moment forever he quickly opened the camera app and took some pictures (probably more than necessary).

Quickly he sent a message to Sapnap saying that pizza was on its way and that it would be there in about 15 minutes.

Quietly he made his way over to the two cuddled up on the couch and sat next to them.

He had realized that Jacie had her little chubby hand in George’s hair like she did to his to soothe herself.

He was so grateful for this.

The people he had surrounded himself with had changed his life for the better.

^*^*^*

“I told you I sleep in Geo's room” the little one complained as Dream got her Pajamas on.

“Geo had a long flight and a long day. He wants to have good sleep tonight.” Dream explained for what felt like the thousandth time.

“I be quiet and sleep” she whined, wiggling around making it hard for Dream to get her hair brushed out after the bath she had taken.

“We want Geo to feel comfortable and welcome in our home. I know you love him so much but we want him to sleep well” Dream softly explained as he finished up with her hair.

“I’ll miss him” she pouted “I wake up and it a sleep movie.”

“A sleep movie?” Dream asked not sure what she meant.

“Dream,” George said startling him.

“Yea, what's up?” He asked tilting his head toward the door.

“No she’s talking about a Dream” George replied, “she doesn’t want to wake up and this all be a dream.”

“It’s not a dream. I promise” the older blond said to which the younger nodded and sniffled.

“Sleep with Geo?” She directed her question at George this time.

“I’m sorry sweet pea but Dada wants you to sleep in your room tonight,” George explained sitting next to the two blonds on the floor.

“I miss you. I miss you too much.” She started getting worked up. Tears slowly welled in her eyes.

“My baby. Come here it’ll be ok” Dream said opening his arms for his daughter to climb into.

“No. Dada mean wan Geo” she said teary eyes scooting over to George and flinging herself at him.

Dream was growing frustrated.

It had been a long day. He was tired, overstimulated, and overwhelmed.

“That’s not a nice thing to say about your dada” George reprimanded softly.

Dream was taking deep breaths so as not to get worked up over this small tantrum his daughter is throwing.

“Honey,” George said softly. “Honey” he repeated and poked Dream.

George was calling him honey.

Dream instantly grew flustered.

“Hmm,” Dream hummed.

“You’re overwhelmed, come here” George stated as the little girl in his arms grew more and more sleepy.

Dream scooted over to George and laid his head on his shoulder.

“You did so good today. I’m so proud of you, D” George comforted.

Dream melted into him. Gently laying his hand on his daughters’ back.

“I’m so happy you’re here” Dream whispered soaking up the moment with his two loves.

“Can't believe it” George hummed resting his head on top of Dreams “I’m tired.”

Dream quickly got into action. Retracting himself from George and putting his arms out for him to pass over Jacie.

George carefully passed her over and stood up.

“My Angel, Daddy’s gonna put you into bed.” Dream softly tried waking up the little girl from her sleep. Knowing that if he didn’t she would wake up in a panic not remembering who put her to bed.

She wrapped her arms around his neck tighter and whined. He softly rubbed his hand around her back.

“Dada ‘om” she mumbled sleepily.

“You wanna sleep in dadas room?” He asked quietly, she nodded.

“Ok, we can do that. Let me just say goodnight to Sap and Geo” Dream said, folding too quickly for his good, turning around to see George still standing there.

“I can take her to your room while you say goodnight to Sap” George suggested making grabby hands toward the sleepy girl.

Dream couldn’t say no so he brought her over to him and passed her over once again.

“Dinos” she mumbled making the two men chuckle.

“I’m gonna go say goodnight to Sap” Dream said and kissed Jacies head.

George hummed in agreement and Dream made his way to Sapnaps room.

“I’m knocking,” Dream said loudly at Sapnaps door “Now I’m coming in.”

Sapnap was laying on the floor humming along to some song that was playing through his speaker.

“Me and Jacie are going to bed now. Thank you for helping out so much today.” Dream directed at the man on the floor.

“No need to thank me. Today was a great fucking day” Sapnap responded grinning.

“Expect to see a package addressed to you in a few days,” Dream said and gently kicked the others side.

Sapnap smiled big and nodded. Knowing better than to argue with Dream over his gift-giving tendencies.

“If you ever need me to take the little one so you and George can have some alone time just ask,” Sapnap said while wiggling his eyebrows.

Dream just rolled his eyes.

“Yea, whatever. See you in the morning,” he said and walked out of the room.

Once he got in the hallway he could hear faint cry’s coming from his bedroom.

He quickly shut Sapnaps door and rushed down the hallway to his room.

George was sitting on his bed next to a very upset Jacie.

Dream quickly went over and scooped up the crying girl.

“I tried calming her down and she thought you left but I kept telling her you didn’t but she didn’t understand and she got mad” George rambled out panicking a bit.

“It’s ok,” he said to both of them.

“My baby. Dadas still here. I didn’t leave. I was saying night night to Sappy” Dream comforted.

“I tot I lots you” she whimpered as she grabbed his hair.

“Oh, my girl. You didn’t lose me. I would never leave without telling you first” Dream assured while rubbing her back.

He could tell George was anxious next to him so he put his hand on his thigh.

“You did nothing wrong, Angel. This happens all the time when I leave her with Sapnap. Even if it’s to just go outside. And especially when she’s overly tired.” He said caressing the others thigh with his thumb. Trying not to think to much about the pet name that he let slip out.

“I just don’t want to mess things up with her. She’s a big part of your life which in turn means she’s a big part of my life now and I want her to be comfortable with me. I want to be able to be there for her if she needs me.” George quietly rambled as his head was hanging.

“You’ll never have to worry about that, Angel. She’s literally obsessed with you.” Dream assured.

“I love Geo” Jacie mumbled tearfully into Dream's chest making George tear up a bit.

“Geo loves you lots too. He’s just sad that you were sad” Dream explained to the younger.

“No be sad. I miss Dada.” Jacie tried to explain and she climbed over to George’s lap.

She poked his cheek and kissed his nose making him look up at her and smile.

Dream felt like he was in heaven.

Patches made her way over to George and laid down next to him.

Yup, Dream was officially dead.

“Don tell dada.” She whispered as she leaned over and rested her hands over Dream's ears “You my fravroite.”

Her whisper was far from it, making the two men laugh.

“Dada no hear” she grumbled at him as she took her hands away from his ears.

“Sorry. I didn’t hear a thing” he said and threw his hands up in defense making the two giggle.

“Sleepy” Jacie whined.

“Ok, bedtime,” Dream said as he tried to take the little one from George.

“Geo stay here” she whined.

“Ok I’ll stay here” George agreed with no fight.

Dream rolled his eyes.

This girl was so spoiled.

But he really didn’t have any room to talk. He would do anything the little one wanted as soon as she asked.

George stood up with Jacie in his arms as Dream went around to the side of the bed he slept on.

Dream peeled back the covers and George put Jacie on the bed following quickly behind.

Dream laid down too and Jacie instantly went over and laid on his chest.

“Geo over here,” she said and pointed to the spot right next to Dream. “‘Uggle us.”

George complied and laid down next to them.

“No I say ‘uddle us” she complained, confusing George.

“Uhm. She. Hmm, she wants you to cuddle us” Dream explained flustered.

“Oh. Uhm ok,” George stutters out as he rearranged himself to cuddle with the two laying on his side, leg hooked over Dreams and hand resting on Jacies back.

“Head,” Jacie said and pointed to the spot on Dreams chest right next to hers.

George complied and rested head on the others chest.

Dream couldn’t help the blush that was lighting up his face as he grabbed the comforter and covered them all up with it.

He wrapped his arm around George and rested his hand on his hip.

“G’night you two” George whispered as he rubbed his hand along the little ones' back.

Dream was screwed.

^*^*^*

“Pancakes” was the first thing Dream heard when he woke up.

He could hear the two next to him whispering, but he chose to keep quiet.

“Dada makes yum cakeys” Jacie said trying to be the quietest she could.

“I believe it” George hummed.

Sometime during the night, Jacie had moved off Dreams chest and somewhere next to him. He was now laying on his stomach with Jacie sitting on his hand.

“You have a boyfriend?” She asked randomly making George chuckle.

“Not yet” he sighed making the little one laugh.

Dream tried his best not to react.

“I have no girlfriend” she responded sadly.

“One day I’ll have a boyfriend and you’ll have a girlfriend” George promised the other.

“Snotty promise?” She asked making sure he wasn’t being a liar.

“Snotty promise” he stated.

Suddenly Jacie was sitting on Dreams back and he made a soft pained noise.

“Hey you stinker. Your dadas trying to sleep” George scolded playfully making the little girl giggle loudly.

He felt the weight of her be lifted off him and heard her giggling the whole time.

After a few seconds of giggling, she calmed down.

“I like you here,” She said, making Dreams' heart grow.

“I like being here” He shakily said.

“You make us happy,” she said melting Dreams heart into a puddle.

“You make me so happy, little one” George whispered.

Dream slowly opened his eyes and looked over at the two who were all cuddled up together.

There was no sun coming in from the curtains so he checked the clock on the nightstand by George and it read 3:27 am.

“Why ‘r you up?” He said groggily making George jump.

“She was having a bad dream and it woke me up” George replied “I was just talking her down from it.”

Dream could cry.

Instead, he scooted closer to them and wrapped his arms around them.

“Love you,” he said as he nuzzled into George’s neck.

George hummed.

He felt a little hand makes its way to his hair and he smiled.

“Let's go back to sleep” he suggested.

“Cakeys for breakfast?” Jacie asked.

“Of course. Anything for you my baby” he replied because who could ever say no to her?

“And bacon?” George asked.

“Of course. Anything for you, Angel” he replied because he could never say no to George.

These two were going to be the death of him.

^*^*^*

“Dada where ‘r you?” Dream heard as he put the last of the pancakes he was making on a plate. “Me ‘n Geo lookin for you.”

“I’m in the kitchen. I made pancakes and bacon for you guys” he responded as he quickly made up some plates and cut up pancakes for Jacie.

Soon after there’s a squealing Jacie being held by a very happy-looking George walking into the kitchen.

“Lady table” the little one screeched as George walked over to Dream.

George grew a confused look on his face and Dream pointed toward the small table.

George sat Jacie down so she could go sit at her table.

Dream grabbed her plate and juice and set it down in front of her.

“Cakeys!” she exclaimed, “fank you.”

Dreams heart squeezed at that.

“You’re getting so big,” He said as he kissed her forehead.

“Big girl,” she said with a proud smile making Dream smile as well.

“My big girl” he sighed as he stood up.

She started eating her breakfast as Dream walked over to grab his and George’s plates.

“You’re so good with her,” George said as he hugged Dream from behind.

Dream relaxed into the embrace and rubbed his hands up along George’s arms that were around his waist.

“So proud of you, honey” George mumbled making Dream melt.

“Dadas face is red. Like a mato” Jacie said startling the two men.

George chuckled into Dreams back and Dream blushed even deeper.

“Why ‘r you red?” Jacie asked sounding a little concerned.

George let go of the embrace and walked over to the little table and crouched down next to her.

“Your dada was blushing” George explained, “it happens when you get shy or nervous about something.”

“Shy for what?” She asked making Dream let out an embarrassed noise.

“Maybe because George was hanging off of him,” Sapnap said as he entered the kitchen.

“Shut up Sapnap” Dream whined making the others laugh.

“Mato face” Jacie giggled and went back to eating.

George patted her head and stood up, making his way to the kitchen table.

“You never make bacon” Sapnap pointed out as he sat down with his plate.

“Geo asked last night,” the little one said as she chewed her food.

“You’re a simp,” Sapnap said as he shook his head.

“Dadas a shrimp,” Jacie said and stood up hopping over to Dream.

The men burst out laughing.

“He sure is,” George said after calming down a bit Dream picked her up and put her on his lap.

“Dadas Geo's shrimp,” She said as she stole food off of Dreams plate.

^*^*^*

“Dream,” George said as he opened the door and stood in the doorway.

Dream had just put Jacie down for bed and wasn’t expecting any visitors so he was sitting up in bed without a shirt.

“Yea? Come on in” he said and quickly put on the shirt that was on his bedside table.

“What is it? Do you need something?” He asked worriedly as George came in and closed the door with a look on his face that Dream couldn’t quite make out.

“No. Everything’s fine.” He reassured with a small smile. “Just wanted to talk.”

“M’kay. Come sit” Dream waved the other over and he complied.

“What’d you want to talk about?” Dream asked putting all his attention on George.

“I know I’ve only been here like two days now,” George said fidgeting with his sleeves.

“What’s wrong? Do you want to go back to England?” Dream asked trying not to panic.

“No. No way in hell. That’s not it” George paused.

“I thought that I would be able to wait for at least a few weeks but then I got here and saw you and the way you act with Jacie and I just. I can't wait anymore” he rambled making Dream a little anxious.

“What-“ Dream said before George interrupted him “I have feelings for you. I know that’s not very ideal and you have Jacie and I know how important she is to you. And I get it if you don’t have feelings for me. But I just couldn’t sit in silence. These two days felt like forever.”

Dream was stunned. He didn't expect that.

George was avoiding eye contact and Dream slowly grew a massive smile on his face.

“Jacie literally called me a shrimp this morning and you think I don’t have feelings for you?” Dream asked shocked. “I thought that my feelings for you were blatantly obvious.”

“I mean they kind of were” George teased.

“You’re one to talk. You just rambled about how much you love me and can’t live without me” Dream fake argued.

“I didn’t even say that” George groans. “You’re so insufferable.”

Dream wrapped his arms around George and pulled him onto his lap.

“You know it, baby” Dream replied and pecked the other's lips. George grinned so wide.

“Mmm you’re such a good dad,” George said as he nuzzled close to Dreams neck. “It’s attractive.”

Dream felt a blush light up his face.

“Thank you. I try my best” he said sincerely.

Whenever someone complimented him on his parenting he always felt so accomplished.

When George complimented him on his parenting he was over the moon.

“I thought I was going to die the first time you guys met” Dream mumbled as he cuddled closer to George.

He felt George’s smile pressed against his neck. God, he’s never felt more in love.

“I felt like I was going crazy the past two days without telling you.” George said softly nosing at Dream’s throat “especially when you were being such a good dad to Jacie.”

Dream beamed at the compliment.

“You’re so good with her” Dream praised as he ran his hands along the others' back.

“I was worried that she wasn’t going to like me” George replied.

“She’s my daughter. Of course, she would love you” Dream assured. “She’s known you her whole life. You’re one of her favorite people ever. We had a countdown because of how impatient she was for you to get here.”

“You guys were both so impatient” George tutted as he put his hand up in Dreams hair to play with.

“Yea, when Sapnap went to the UK to see you she was so mad. She wouldn’t talk to him for a day or two when he got back. She still hasn’t let him live it down to this day” Dream recollected making George chuckle.

“She’s so stubborn,” The older said.

“Sounds like someone I know” Dream teased lightly.

“I wonder who that could be” George yawned.

“Are you tired, baby?” Dream instantly asked.

George nodded, hair brushing against Dreams jaw.

“Let's go to sleep then,” he said softly as he wiggled them down the bed trying not to shake the other up too much.

“Sleep” the tired man responded and nuzzled closer to Dream as he covered them up.

“Sleep tight, my love” Dream whispered, feeling George smile against his neck.

He couldn’t believe it. The love of his life was here, in Florida, cuddled up on his chest and they shared the same feelings for each other.

^*^*^*

“She’s going to be the most excited to see me” Sapnap argued as they drove home from the airport.

Their trip to Antarctica has lasted too long and they all were antsy to get back home to Jacie and Patches.

“This is her first time away from me. She’s definitely going to be more excited to see me” Dream argues back as he turned onto their road.

He knew it was a pointless argument because no matter what she’d be excited to see him the most.

George was asleep in the backseat or else he would’ve also been arguing over this.

“I’m more funner than you” Sapnap snapped back.

“That’s not even a word idiot” Dream antagonized.

“Are we home yet?” George mumbled sleepily from the backseat.

“Literally just pulled in the driveway” Sapnap sighed out.

“I’m excited to see my sweet pea,” George said as he stretched.

George had been using more terms of endearment for Jacie over the few weeks he had been in America. Dream couldn’t be happier about it.

Dream quickly turned off the car and got out not caring about his bags right now.

He quickly ran up to the door and unlocked it.

“Grams I wan dada ‘n Geo ‘n sappy” he heard right as he walked in the door.

“I know baby they’re going to be back so so so soon. I promise” His mom responded trying to console the crying girl.

Dream rushed to the family room where his mom and daughter were.

“My baby,” he said, and the little ones head snapped up from his mom's shoulder.

“Dada you’re home” she sobbed as she reached toward him.

He quickly picked her up and held her close.

“Too long” she whimpered as he rubbed his hand along her back to soothe her.

“I know baby. I’m so sorry. Dadas never leaving for that long again” He promised. Never again. Fuck Mr. Beast and Antarctica. He was staying with his daughter.

“Geo ‘n Sappy?” She whined, still latched onto her dad.

“They’re here too. Don’t worry” He reassured.

“I’m here” Sapnap announced as he walked into the family room.

“Sappy I miss you” she gasped and threw herself toward him.

He quickly secured her in his arms and squeezed her.

“I missed you too, bean” Sapnap agreed as he kissed her on the top of her head profusely.

“Never go to ‘tartica ‘gain” she reprimanded as she pulled her head away from Sapnaps chest.

“Never again” Sapnap agreed with a curt nod.

He heard the front door open and close and quick footsteps making their way toward them.

“Sweet pea, I missed you so much,” George said rushing into the family room dropping his suitcase along the way.

“Geo” she screeched and tried to wiggle out of Sapnaps hold.

“Come here, my sweet pea,” he said as he reached for her once he had gotten close enough.

She instantly latched onto him and squeezed her arms around his neck.

“No leaving. You stay” she sobbed.

“Don’t worry. I’m never leaving you again. Even if your dada and Sapnap do. I’m staying” He assured as he sat on the couch with the little one still in his arms.

Dream melted at his boyfriend and daughter.

His mom motioned that she was going to leave so he went over to give her a hug.

“Thank you so much. I won’t ever be able to repay you” he said still hugging her.

“She’s my granddaughter. I’ll never pass down time with her” she reassured and pulled away from the hug.

“I’m proud of you,” she said as she patted his face he smile.

“Thank you, Mom,” he said and she dropped her hand.

“Anytime,” she said.

“Alright boys and Jacie. Have fun. I’m just one phone call away if you need anything” she said as she grabbed her purse off the counter.

A chorus of byes was said and with that, she was out the door.

George and Jacie were still all cuddled up together on the couch and Sapnap was next to them.

“I’m gonna go get the suitcases” Dream announced making the other three look at him.

“No ‘tay here” Jacie whined. “Sit by Geo.”

Dream couldn’t say no to her, especially after being gone for so long so he made his way over to the couch and sat down right next to George.

Sapnap motioned his head toward the door in a silent ‘I’ll get the bags.’

Dream nodded and with that, Sapnap got off the couch.

“I’ll be back,” he said and walked off.

“Miss you guys much,” the little one said as she ran her fingers through Georges hair.

“We missed you too sweet pea,” George said as he readjusted to having his thighs draping over Dreams. Dream let George pick up his hand and play with his fingers.

“Did you get a boyfriend in ‘tartica?” She suddenly asked as she sat up quickly, making the two men chuckle.

George glanced over at Dream and he nodded softly.

“No, but I did get a boyfriend before Antarctica,” he said and she gasped.

“Who? Who? Who?” She asked eagerly wiggling around.

“Well. You may know who he is” George hinted while wiggling his eyebrows.

“IT’S DADA.” She yelled out excitedly, shocking the two men.

“How’d you know?” Dream asked still shocked and poked her belly.

“You’re a shrimp, duh,” she said like it was obvious.

“He is a shrimp” George agreed making the little one laugh.

“So you both ‘ave boyfriend?” She asked as she cocked her head to the side cutely.

“Yup. George is my boyfriend and I’m George’s boyfriend” Dream said with a light blush on his face.

“I tot you didn’t?” She said confused.

“We weren't boyfriends until after you asked if either of us had one” George explained.

“O’tay,” she said nodding.

“‘Uddle closer” she demanded.

Dream scooted closer to George leading George to be mostly all the way on his lap.

She hooked her hand into Dreams shirt collar as her other hand held George’s hair.

“A family” she whispered.

^*^*^*

George still couldn’t believe he was here in Florida with his best friend, boyfriend (BOYFRIEND! He can’t believe it either), and the precious little girl who he loves so dearly.

Sapnap and Dream were currently out having a ‘boys day’ and he had offered to stay back with Jacie.

She was currently playing with her dinosaurs while Finding Nemo was playing on the TV.

“Sweet pea, I’m thinking of making dinner. What do you want?” George asked as he turned down the volume on the TV.

The little girl thought for a few seconds.

“Penny pata wif ‘getti sauce” she responded, quickly getting up off the floor “Me help.”

“You got it. You can be my little helper” He said and scooped her up and tickled her making her go into a fit of giggles.

He skipped over to the kitchen with the little girl still in his arms.

After getting the penne pasta and spaghetti sauce out from the pantry he put the little one on a safe spot on the counter where he could grab her if there was an emergency, but still far enough away that she couldn’t touch the stove, before starting to boil some water.

“Wanna listen to Dadas song” Jacie said as George got a wooden spoon out.

“Which one?” He asked as he connected his phone to the speakers in the kitchen.

“All of dem” she deadpanned with her hands on her hips as she shook her head like George was stupid.

“Ok, little miss sassy. Whatever you want” he said and bowed, making her giggle.

He put on the music and the little one instantly started singing along.

“You’re the cutest,” he said and kissed her cheek.

“I won’t tell dada,” she said and put her finger to her mouth like it was a secret, making the older man chuckle and copy her.

He opened the cupboard above her head and grabbed a bowl

“Here, can you pour the noodles into this bowl?” He asked and handed her the open box of noodles.

“I help! I help!” She said excitedly as she dumped the noodles into the bowl.

“Thank you, my baby,” he said so fond of the little girl that was squealing.

“Dada calls me dat” she observed once she sat down the empty box.

“He does. Would you not like me to call you that?” He asked wanting to be mindful of her thoughts and feelings, as he dumped the bowl of noodles into the boiling water.

A lot had changed for her in such little time and him and Dream had multiple conversations about wanting to make her feel the most comfortable she could be with these big changes.

George always wanted what was best for the little one.

She hadn’t said anything, so once he finished pouring the noodles he sat down the box and went to stand in front of her.

“What are you thinkin' about?” He asked and poked her cheek.

“I like being sweet pea,” she said shyly making George melt.

He picked her up and spun her around making her squeal.

“I’ll call you whatever you want. You’re my favorite little girl ever ever ever and I want you to feel safe with me” he assured.

“You call me dadas words but I ‘ike sweet pea more,” Jacie said while she wrapped her arms around George’s neck and kissed his nose.

If anyone caused the little one in his arms harm he would go to war with them.

George has never felt this kind of love before.

“Whatever you want sweet pea,” he said with a kiss to her nose this time.

After a while of swaying around the kitchen and humming along to whatever song came on George sat the little girl down in her original spot and checked on the noodles.

He snapped a picture of the little girl who was swinging her feet and wiggling to the music.

He turned off the burner and strained out the noodles into the strainer in the sink.

“Papa?” Jacie said, making George freeze in his spot.

He ignored it thinking it was just her singing along to the song and went back to mixing the pasta sauce and noodles together.

He felt little feet kicking at his side.

“I talkin' to you,” she said grumpily making George stop what he was doing and turn his attention toward the pouting girl.

“Sorry I didn’t hear you” He lied.

“I callin' you papa,” she said with a smile.

“Oh uhm” George stuttered out not knowing what to say.

“You and dada datin tat mean you my papa” She explained making him grow even more anxious.

“Well that’s something we need to talk to your Dada about when he gets back” George reasoned hoping that she would forget this happened.

“I call you papa till den,” She said with confidence making George sigh.

He didn’t know how to have this conversation with her so he just left it where it was and went back to dish out the pasta.

“Food time little lady,” He said as he picked her and the bowls of pasta up off the counter.

“Wanna sit wif Papa,” She said making his heart melt.

He didn’t know how Dream would feel about it and he didn’t want to make him feel pressured to allow the new use of papa to happen. But he felt a sense of pride knowing she felt safe enough with him and loved him enough to call him ‘papa’.

He tried to let it past him and deal with it later.

“Ok we’ll share a bowl then,” he said as he sat down at the barstool, the little girl now sitting in his lap.

“Juice” she whined as she made grabby hands toward her sippy cup on the counter.

George grabbed it for her and passed it over.

“Tanks papa” Jacie said sweetly.

“Anytime my little sweet pea” he responded.

“Lets take a picture and send it to your dada” George suggested to which the little girl eagerly nodded in agreement.

He opened up his camera app and said “Say cheese.”

“Cheese,” Jacie said drawing out the e’s.

“Ok now funny faces,” He said sticking out his tongue she copied him and tilted her head to the side.

“Eat some pasta. I’m gonna send those to your dada” he said.

George:

We’re eating pasta :)

He set down his phone and started eating the shared bowl of pasta.

“Pata is messy” Jacie giggled as she chewed the food in her mouth.

He hummed and kissed her head.

“Ah! It buzzed” she screeched making George laugh.

He picked up his phone.

Dream 🤪🥰🥵:
My baby’s 😕
I’ll be home within the hour.
Were gonna cuddle for the next 8 days

“Dada says when he gets home he’s gonna cuddle us for eight days” George relayed the information to the younger one.

“Long time” she giggled.

They finished up the pasta and George left the mess in the kitchen for someone else to clean up.

“Wanna get Jammie’s on?” He asked as Jacie ran around the couch

“Jammies! Jammies! Jammies” she said as she jumped up and down.

“Ok, little jumping bean. Let's go get some Jammie’s on” He said and scooped her up before running dramatically up the stairs to her bedroom making her giggle loudly.

“Wanna wear Dino ones” she said as George sat her down on her bed.

“Dino pjs coming right up,” he said and went over to her closet, grabbing the first Dinosaur pajamas he saw.

“Here you go madam” he bowed sloppily handing over the pajamas to her.

“Help me,” Jacie said struggling to get her shirt off.

He quickly got to work helping her take off her play clothes and putting her pajamas on.

“We should get matching Jammie’s” George suggested making her squeal in delight.

“Match Dino jammies” she agreed.

“I’ll look for some after I change into my jammies”
He said while helping her off the bed.

“I choose, Papa” She grabbed his hand and started dragging him toward Dreams room.

“Dada's clothes. He be happy” she said once they got inside his closet.

He smiled.

“Wear dis and dis,” she said handing him a sweatshirt and shorts after a while of looking through the clothes.

George quickly changed into them as the little one was playing with Patches on the floor.

After a quick glance at himself in the mirror he realized he was wearing Dreams Sooner hoodie.

“Your Dada’s going to faint when he sees me in this” George chuckled making the little girl look up at him.

“He’s love it,” Jacie said and stood up, Patches standing up to follow her wherever she was going.

“Lets go look at Dino's jammies on the couch,” George said leading the little one out of the closet.

She stopped in her tracks and pouted.

“Dada bed ‘n nuggle” Jacie huffed out.

“Whatever you want sweet pea” He replied, feeling so much love course through his body.

^*^*^*

“Dada home soon?” Jacie asked sniffling a bit cuddling closer to George.

“He’ll be home any minute” George reassures as he double-checked that he ordered the matching pajamas.

“Need dada uggies” she whined.

George set down his phone on the bedside table and ran his hand through her hair.

“I know. I miss him too, but I promise he’ll be back any time now” George comforted as the little one whined.

“Miss Sappy too” Jacie whined as she wiggled about on the bed.

“I bet you he misses you as well. Him and your dada hung out and had a boy's day today” George explained trying to calm the girl to stop her whining.

“But you’re a boy?” She said confusedly.

“I am, but I wanted to spend my day with my favorite little girl in the whole world” the older one exacerbated and pressed many kisses to the little ones nose and forehead as she giggled.

“I’m your fravorite?” She asked once she calmed down from the giggle fest.

“Don’t tell anyone else” he responded with a nod.

“Me won’t” she nodded excitedly.

“Where are the loves of my life hiding?” They heard from down the hall.

“DADAS ROOM” Jacie yelled, scaring George a bit.

Dream walked into the room and plopped down right on top of George, making him let out a pained noise.

“Miss you” Jacie squealed as she flopped onto Dreams back.

“Missed you too, my baby,” Dream said.

“I like the hoodie” Dream said and poked George’s side.

“Thanks, Jacie picked it out for me” George responded with a smile.

Dream pecked George’s lips making the younger girl huff and get off Dreams back to try and push him off, George.

“My papa” she grumbled and crossed her arms sassily once Dream rolled off of George.

Dreams eyes grew wide and he sat up quickly.

“She started calling me that earlier and I tried ignoring her but you know how she is. Such a sassy girl” George said trying to soothe Dreams nerves, as he poked the little girls belly. “I told her that we had to talk to you about it before it’s set in stone.”

“No need to panic, my love,” George said as he cupped the others cheek.

“Well I mean I guess if she feels comfortable calling you that then I’m fine with it.” Dream said once had calmed down.

“Geo my papa?” Jacie asked excitedly.

George beamed.

“If you want him to be. We wanted to wait a little while before all that. But if you’re ready now then I guess I’ll be ok with it” Dream explained as he tried to cuddle closer to George.

“Gross o’side clothes” Jacie whined and tried to push Dream off the bed.

“I changed my clothes in the laundry room. Because I knew you would get mad at me.” Dream said and stuck his tongue out at her, making her laugh.

“I love that this all came up because she was jealous that you kissed me,” George said and chuckled.

“Jealous little one,” Dream said and kissed the little girls cheek.

“Just like her dada” George stated with a smile.

“I do not get jealous,” Dream said at the same time that Jacie said, “me no do that.”

“Yea. I’m so sure” George said and squeezed the two closer to himself.

“‘Uddle for eight days,” Jacie said as she ran her hands through Dreams hair.

“However long you want, my baby” Dream promised as he tangled his legs with George and nuzzled closer to his neck.

“Breathin’ in my face” Jacie grumbled flipping her head over so that Dream wasn’t breathing on her face anymore.

George was but a bed for the two people he loved the most. He couldn’t complain too much.

^*^*^*

“Get me pregnant,” George said out of the blue one day as he laid in bed watching Dream walk around their bedroom, cleaning up the mess of toys that were sprawled around all over the floor.

Dream stopped what he was doing and turned towards George with a shocked look on his face.

“I hope you know that that’s not possible,” Dream said as he walked over to sit in bed next to George.

“I know. You’re just so hot” George whined making Dream laugh, a slight blush started lighting up his face.

“You’re such a good dad to Jacie. Just want to see you with a baby” George exacerbated and dramatically dropped his forehead onto Dreams chest.

“We can start the process of looking for ways to adopt if you want” Dream offered, trying his best not to melt from the fondness he felt toward the idea of having another little one. “But in the meantime, I can show you pictures and videos of when Jacie was a baby.”

“Sounds good,” George said as he got situated next to the other.

Dream unlocked his phone and went to the album of all things Jacie.

“This was us when she was first born. We had been all alone in a room together when the nurse walked in and saw us and offered to take a picture” Dream said showing a picture of him holding Jacie smiling big. “She took a few more of us,” he said scrolling through the others of Dream looking down at the little girl in his arms.

“I wish I was there” George whispered with a soft smile on his face.

“Me too” Dream sighed and continued to tell George stories about each picture up until one of his favorites.

“This was from when Sapnap went to see you. She was so pissed at him that she wouldn’t even let me send pictures or videos of her to you guys” Dream reminisced with a soft smile on her face. Showing him a selfie Dream had taken with both of them pouting.

“She’s so stubborn” George commented as he shook his head and chuckled.

“Reminds me of someone else I know” Dream replied with a soft smirk.

“I wonder who that could be,” George said as he tried to look confused.

“She reminds me so much of you,” Dream said. “Her personality is almost identical to yours. I find it interesting how even though for most of her life she knew you through a screen she acts just like you.”

“You could say the same with us and Sapnap too. We’ve only known each other in person for like nine months now, but we all share some of the same quirks from before we met. It's cool how it all works out” George replied thoughtfully.

Before Dream could respond their bedroom door opened and in walked Jacie.

They instantly both lit up.

“My baby, how was your nap?” Dream said, immediately reaching for the little girl who was toddling toward their bed.

“Too loud” she grumbled as Dream picked her up, making the two men laugh.

She instantly crawled in between them and latched onto George.

“Papa, love you” She whimpered as she cuddled closer to him.

“Sweet pea. I love you mostest” George responded, melting at the little girl in his arms.

“You guys are gonna kill me from cuteness overload one of these days,” Dream said as he ran his hand over the little girls back.

“Too cute” Jacie mumbled and poked Dreams cheek.

“When’s we gon have baby?” Jacie asked out of the blue, shocking the two men.

“Well, it’s a very long process. We’re going to wait a little longer till we start that though. What do you think?” Dream explained, happy that his little one also wanted to have a baby.

“I wanna sister ‘nd brother” she eagerly stated.

“We’ll have to wait and see, sweet pea” George reasoned.

When Dream found out that he had gotten his girlfriend of two months pregnant he was terrified.

Now almost five years later here he was with all the people he loved the most under one roof.

He didn’t feel so terrified anymore.

Notes:

My idea with Jacie was that she is so well articulated at a young age because she was rarely around people her age. Dream and Sapnap always talked to her like they would talk to each other (besides swearing and that type of stuff) but they never baby-talked her and explained things to her thoroughly in a way she would understand without using baby talk. I know someone who was well articulated since they were young because of the same reason. No one baby-talked them and they were around people older than them all the time. Just wanted to clear some of that up before people were like ‘🤓👆🏻actually two almost three-year-olds don’t talk like this’.
