Summary
The words on his skin were his everything. After everything he'd seen, done and been through, they were a reminder that Bruce Wayne still existed. That somewhere there was a person who would love him despite the coldness in his chest and the scars that roped their way across his skin. A reminder that he wasn't alone - that he wasn't destined to live forever in the shadows, silent and isolated. That somewhere out there was the other half of his soul.
He just wasn't expecting the other half of his soul to be an alien.

Changed me...because I've not once read a single DC comic about their lives and yet this consumed me wholly. I loved the hurt and work that went into their relationship, I could feel the conflict with Bruce and Batman for two different ideologies of what he should stand on. Then the kids... I only know spoilers or of what is common knowledge regarding Jason Todd and Nightwing, honestly makes me really interested to read more from this fandom.
The pacing was delicious as well. The titles and calculating how much time has passed was brilliant. Then the writing, amazing. It felt like a full warm meal because despite being not too long, every word was utilized properly to convey the emotions and story. Every single word. It hurt so bad and feels so hopeful and loving that it's worth the pain.

This was everything I could've asked for. It really helped getting into Zachs mindset and having him with Alex during the shooting. Then God just the growing depression, I'm so glad there was no Justin death cause that would've destroyed me here too. I loved seeing the resurgence of their friendship and the small glimpse with Alex and Jess friendship.
The love just felt so pure and right and in character. You've literally just grabbed the characters and let them interact because omfg the casualness and intimacy is so good and sweet. It feels so hopeful by the and and makes me so happy to check out more work if you want to come back :)

Summary
Loverboy Lance; Not the fastest, or the best fighter, or the smartest, or the strongest, or the princess, the seventh wheel...
And all alone.
With only his Lion, his gun, a sword and determination, Lance finds himself blasted across the universe, in the middle of nowhere, without communication, proper food, and half an idea in Hell what to do.
Except he knows he needs to get back to the others.
Because the team might live without him, but at the very least, they need Red.
Voltron can't form without Red.

finished and LOVED. It's always so cool to see what authors do when faced with a character that's separated from the rest of the cast and the amount of world building that had to occur with each planet, potential friends, lovers, etc. Not to mention THE character itself, the absolute angst with Lance always sticking it out but for the wrong reasons due to insecurity and not feeling so loved or valued by the rest of the team. It's hurtful but all the less feels so good when he's training and finding his ground as a paladin of Voltron who KNOWS his own value and should be respected because of his experiences and how hard he's worked. Even if no one saw that work just yet.
I also love a little dark lance with some slightly loose morals. I'm someone who loves to see revenge if someone is wronged, who enjoys some of the petty renditions of lance becoming better and not joining the team again because of the mistreatment, etc. I also enjoy when he does join but forces them to work for his forgiveness. It just feels so good to see what people do with these situations.

Summary
Jumpers, abominations who walk the planet with a power only god should have. At least that what the Paladins will tell you. They hunt and kill Jumpers for shits and giggles thanks to their beliefs.
Lance McClain knows better though. He isn't an abomination, that's not what Mama told him when he first learned of his powers and it's not what he believes now. He just has the ability to teleport to any place he's been to before and if the stupid Paladin's got the stick out of their rears they'd see how great of a power it is. It could safe lives, improve jobs, or even reunite loved ones, but this isn't a perfect world. His kind is hunted and killed on a daily basis and amongst the masses he's assigned himself to protect them as the one everyone has come to know as Sharpshooter. The sniper wielding Jumper with a big ego and an even bigger heart.
However when he's betrayed by a fellow Jumper and pursued by Paladins one night the last thing he expected was to be saved and kissed into submission by none other than the legendary Chameleon. The appearance changing Jumper who has never once been caught by Paladins. Nor did he expect to keep running into him. Nor fall in- NOPE! Not going there!

Read and LOVED. Wish there was fanfic of this, that's how much this consumed my mind. I've never seen the actual movie or books this whole concept was based off of but It's definitely one that I need to pay attention to more now. Not to mention the relationship that Lance and Matt have with one another, as well as just Lance himself. He's so baddass and determined and just overall what I've been missing when it comes to the Voltron development. He very clearly has leader qualities, he cares and tries to test everything, and the absolute cuteness with the panthers?? The training arch?? Then Matt... god. It made me feel SO much closer to him and the loyalty or reasonings as well as the representation with having an amputated limb, just god. It didn't feel awkward at all and the imagery was so clear, this was read like a movie.

Summary
Lance tipped his head back and looked up at the tall ceiling of the ballroom. It was something he couldn’t help but do now that he was an experienced sniper. He followed the line of two pillars up and up, past the balcony and into the rafters. There—that was the best spot. You’d be able to see everything from there: the ballroom floor, the balcony, even the entryway all the way to the main doors.
He wasn’t expecting to see something shift though, and he watched in horror as a masked and cloaked figure appeared, lining up a rifle and pointing down into the crowd of people on the ballroom floor.
Or: A diplomatic gala takes an unexpected turn when Lance intercepts an assassination attempt on one of their allies. Leaving Lance injured and the others scrambling for answers, they enter a race against the clock to find who is responsible. They don’t know who did it, no one’s coming forward, and Lance is running out of time.

Unforgettable, the racing time and desire for someone to confess already, goddd. It has so many of my favorite things. Not to mention the family dynamic this created with the rest of the paladins and Keiths clear worry. It felt as if there was no right way to start the investigation since everyone loves Lance and needed their own method to be correct for their own sanity. Then when it didn't work out and the arguments and low morale started happening, just great.
