Tonight, it was Mammon who cooked for the whole family after a long day. They are all seated around the table of the Dining Room. Few people eat their dishes, Belphie refrained from screaming at the first bite just like Satan and MC, because of the spice. Lucifer slowly eats his meal, hiding his pain perfectly but Beel and Mammon eat their plates like if it was edible…Despite this, a certain demon is in a very good mood: Levi.
The Third-Born bought a retro game he wanted to play since he saw a let’s play. It was very difficult to find it in Devildom but with determination, everything is possible!
“I can’t wait to play it!” says Levi. “I will do a live of my let’s play! Demons need to know about this game! The story is sad but well written!”
“Really? What is this about?” asks Satan.
Usually, Satan isn't really interested in video games, but if his brother's this passionate about playing it, and if chatting will take his mind off his spice-burnt mouth, he'll listen. Of course, Levi is more than happy to have Satan interested in his new game!
“Silent Hill 2 is a retro horror game from the human world. It’s not the following of the first Silent Hill, but the story is in the same town after the events of the first game. The protagonist, James Sunderland, received a letter from his wife who died 3 years ago. It said she was waiting for him at Silent Hill but when he goes there, there are only monsters and some strange and dangerous people.”
Satan was expecting a long explanation, but for once Leviathan wasn't too hard to follow. Satan wasn't the only one listening to Levi; Asmodeus took the liberty of listening instead of trying to taste the food on his plate.
“And? I want to know all the plot now!” requests Asmo. “I don’t really like ugly things and horror, but how the dead wife could have written a letter for her husband?”
“I guess nobody, beside MC who already know the story, will watch me playing so I will spoil everything.” he says with a pout. “I hate spoilers… But well… Mary, the dead wife, was killed by her husband just before he goes to the town!”
This surprised Asmodeus but not Satan, who was already expecting something of this kind.
“What? But why?” asks Asmo. “If he goes to a scary city, it meant he loved her, no? Why he killed her, then? It was an accident?”
“James killed his wife because for 3 years, she was sick. She was in pain and ugly, James always loved her but she was awful with him because of the pain. One day, Mary asked him to kill her, she wanted to live too but James killed her anyways, because he couldn’t support this anymore. After that, he forgot everything and he thought his wife died since her illness appeared. It was a way of protecting himself from the truth.”
This time, Satan wasn't expecting it, and that makes him more curious about this game, or rather the story it wants to tell. Some games with good stories can be almost as interesting as books... If it's well done. Leviathan advised him to play some visual novels, but he hasn't played them yet due to lack of motivation. Maybe he should really start trying them...
“It’s so dark and sad!” Asmodeus says with a pained voice. “Humans can be really surprising to create such stories...”
“It’s a horror game Asmo, of course it’s dark.” declares Lucifer drinking water. “The story seems interesting, I will maybe watch you if I have the time.”
The brothers turn to the First-Born in surprise. Was he listening too? And he is interested?
“Whaaaat? Really Lucifer?”
“It would be so cool, Lucifer!” Levi exclaims happily. “There is a lot of games with good and dark stories like this, I will order them when I will finish this one!”
It’s rare for Lucifer to be interested in a video game, he's not the kind of demon to like distractions like this. But on the other hand, he's the one who introduced Leviathan to the anime... So, maybe it's not that surprising.
“I didn’t know an old man like you could like a video game.” says Satan with a grin.
“Well, it’s a retro game so…” add MC.
Hearing this, Belphegor laughs while Lucifer give them a mean look. Satan smiles as MC begin to regret what they just said.
“Satan. MC. You're going to clear the table.”
“What? You have no sense of humor today?” ask MC.
“It’s not fair!” complains Satan, banging the table with his fists. “And the dinner tonight is AWFUL, damn Mammon! Why did you cook with this much pepper? Do you want to burn our mouths or be as good at cooking as Solomon?”
Satan is in irritated mood since they are at the table, but Lucifer is the last straw of his wrath. He didn't want to show his anger at first because Mammon ate his dish without a problem, Lucifer managed to eat a large part of his unlike the others. He wanted to talk with Mammon about it after the dinner but Lucifer’s remark pissed him.
He needs to vent his anger.
“What? Really?” asks Mammon without hiding his astonishment. “For everyone, it's too spicy?”
“I can’t sleep because my mouth is on fire after only one bite.” says Belphie with rebuke. “And Beel went to get bread and milk for everyone because no one could eat this shit. Thank you again, Beel.”
It's not unusual for Belphegor to complain about Mammon’s food because he prefers mild or sweet dishes, but for Satan it's surprising since his brother likes spicy food.
“No problem! I think the dinner is ok, very spicy but nothing that I can’t handle.”
“Beel, you are the Avatar of Gluttony.” states Asmo with a sigh. “You can eat anything.”
“No, I can’t handle Solomon’s cooking. I really tried, but I prefer the plates.”
“Loooool”
“It’s not funny, Levi! Fortunately, I had the courage to tell him that I could no longer eat his meals.” confesses Asmo with a guilty look. “He was so sad, I feel bad about it but my stomach has limits.”
“I am sure you said it was for your weight and not because his cooking is lousy.” accuses Belphie by pointing at him.
The brothers continue to talk about Solomon's cooking but Mammon remains silent. He looks at everyone's plates and no one has been able to finish his curry, except Beel. Lucifer has only eaten half his plate and their little brother is finishing the other dishes.
Mammon feels bad about it. Silently, he waits for Beel to finish each meal and clean the table alone despite Lucifer's protests.
They all know there is something wrong with Mammon since months, but nobody knows what. He doesn’t talk much, he avoids them and prefers to be in his room than outside playing with money. Lucifer tried to talk with him weeks ago, but Mammon said there were nothing wrong and he tried to be less a “scumbag” for his brothers and the others.
MC were with their family in the human world when Mammon changed. They asked too about this but Mammon said nothing was wrong. He can’t lie with their pact, right? Maybe Mammon really tries to change… But everyone loved him like he was before! So why?
It was two months ago.
The brothers said he had some problems with witches, he tried to have help from Lucifer but it’s pretty common with Mammon so, the Avatar of Pride send him packing his problems alone. Mammon left four days the HoL and when he was back, he was tired but said everything was okay. It wasn’t the first time so, nobody really cared about it, except MC when they returned.
Something bad happened to him, but what? He would tell MC if something went wrong with the witches, right? Or maybe if it’s something else that bother him? His brothers always bully him but it's not something that can affect him this much… But maybe the absence of MC hurt him deeply? They feel so bad…
During the dessert, Levi continues to talk about his new game since others are interested: “Silent Hill is a town that creates monsters which represent the fears and traumas of the characters. For James, there are some disgusting bodies that represent the disease of his wife, but there are more of them! I wonder what monsters would appear if it were me…”
“All the games that you promised to finish but that rot somewhere.” say MC with a grin.
“Spoilers of your favorite series.” continues Satan. “But it’s an interesting thing. I will maybe watch your stream while doing my homework.”
“And you, Mammon? What monsters do you think might appear with Levi?” asks Beel eating donuts. “And why you don’t eat any dessert again? You loved it before...”
“Not hungry and… Dunno. Wanna a serious or a funny comeback?”
“Wait, Mammon can give serious answers?” mocks Asmodeus. “That’s new!”
“Surprising, indeed.”
“Asmo and Satan, fuck ya and I can be super serious when I’m asked to!”
“And so? What are your answers?” ask MC gently.
MC wanted to prevent the brothers from making fun of Mammon. Asmodeus and Belphegor sulked while Satan and the others turned to listen to the Second-Born, much to his amazement. Even Lucifer seems interested in what he has to say. Mammon wishes he'd listened to him sooner... There is no possible way back. It’s too late. Even Barbatos couldn’t do anything with his powers.
“For the funny one, I thought about the Ruri-chan’s bootleg figurines he bought and keeps in a closet.”
“Yeah… I can’t throw them away because I love Ruri-chan but I can’t see them either! Such a shame… My poor Ruri-chan! How somebody could have done something so horrible?”
Forever and ever the family will remember Leviathan's howl as he opened his Akuzon box. They had all been worried, and when they saw what was in the package, they understood... The figurines of his favorite idol were nothing but vile forgeries. Leviathan cried for hours! Today, it's a funny story between them, but Levi is still “traumatized”.
“And for the serious answer?” continue MC, ignoring the complaint of Levi.
Mammon waits a few seconds, hesitant to tell the truth but with the insistent stares of his brothers and MC, he feels compelled to speak his thoughts out loud.
“I stole so many things from Levi and all of you, I know it's become a fear for everyone so I guess I could be in the game, like an enemy… Ya see?” says Mammon avoiding the gaze of others. “Or something like that…”
For MC, Beel and Lucifer, this is a particularly sad response, while the others just find it surprising. However, instead of sympathizing with his brother, Asmodeus uses this occasion for something else.
“I don’t know if you are really serious or not, but I can only agree.” tells Asmo. “A scumbag like you is the fear of everyone here.”
“Asmo! That’s mean!” shout MC. “You know it’s because of his sin!”
Asmodeus turns to MC with a particularly cold smile, as if hiding his true feelings. MC have seen Asmo get angry about things several times before, but this isn't the same kind of anger. It's more... Deep.
“MC, Mammon never stole anything from you so you can’t understand, cutie.” he says in a voice ready to spit venom. “Yesterday, some of my old and beautiful jewelry seems to have disappeared again... Anything to say, my stupid and scummy big brother?”
Now, they understand better why Asmodeus seems to have been in a bad mood in recent hours. Hearing this, Lucifer sighs, while Mammon is surprised by his younger brother's words. Seeing the disappointed looks on his brothers' faces, Mammon stands up to protest.
“Not me that time! They were magic or something?”
“Yes, and I love them! Give them back to me, SCUMBAG!”
That's it, Asmodeus has reached his limit, Satan next to him senses it better than anyone and fears that the situation will degenerate dramatically. Everyone in this house agrees on one thing: when Asmodeus is angry, really angry, it's a terrifying thing. Even Lucifer can't deny it!
“Lil’ bro, I’m not the culprit and ya fuck Solomon yesterday here, no? Ya should ask him.”
MC and Satan sigh at Mammon's poor choice of words. Why does he always have to make a situation worse when he could soothe it easily?
As they had expected, Asmodeus really shows his anger by assuming his demonic form and rising from his chair, ready to physically attack his brother.
“How dare you accuse Solomon?!”
“Asmodeus, silence. Mammon, don’t be vulgar.” orders Lucifer with his natural authority.
Now, it’s Mammon who has almost reached his limit. He hates being accused of something he really didn't do, especially in front of everyone! Asmodeus has a real knack for putting him to shame and pressure, and he hates it! And the worst part? Asmo knows, because despite his anger, he smiles sadistically at him!
“Yeah, yeah… Whatever. I wanna go back to my room, can I? My dear and lovely big brother?”
“No. You wait here until everyone finishes their dishes, like every day. No exceptions.”
“Tch… Ok.”
Mammon sits back in his chair and waits, arms crossed. Asmodeus resumes his human form and sits in his chair, but it's easy to see that he's still very angry. Despite this scene, Levi continues to talk about his game while the others finish their desserts in silence but sometime, Satan, Lucifer and Belphie asked him some things about the story. Eventually, Leviathan decided to do a live only accessible to his loved ones because everyone seems to be interested, and he wants it to be a "family" experience. Funny, for a horror video game… He will put the recording the next day on his DevilTube’s account. And it can be funny for viewers to see the reactions of the most powerful people in the Devildom on this game, right?
Asmodeus sometimes said things with innuendo towards Mammon but Lucifer didn't object, only MC defended him. Why didn’t Mammon say anything back? Why does he allow this?
When they finish clearing the table and doing the dishes, MC ask to Mammon if he wanted to play with them and Levi. The demon was surprised but happy to be invited. Yes, he knows Silent Hill is a horror game but with MC by his side, it will be surely okay!
MC are always kind to him, after all.
Leviathan wasn’t too bothered by the presence of his brother; he was even a little happy that Mammon has the courage to be with them. It's been a long time since they spent time together.
But he will never say it out loud!
When they arrive in his room, Levi installs the game in his console, correctly puts on his helmet and his microphone for the live. Surprisingly, almost all the brothers are already connected to their accounts, as well as Solomon and Diavolo. Levi really did a good publicity, no doubt!
Mammon sticks against MC, dreading the game as soon as the menu appears on the screen. MC laugh and pat his head to comfort him. Mammon blushes and looks away, while Levi pouts at looking at them. He feels a hint of jealousy in him now... Why are MC so tender with Mammon? That’s not fair!
But something is wrong on the screen. Maybe that’s a stain or dust?
“Mammoooooonn…”
As the Second-Born cleaned his glasses, he recognizes this tone that means 'there’s something annoying I want you to do in my place and since you are the eldest, you can’t refuse'.
“What do you want Levi?”
“There is something on the screen and I am already installed comfortably with the joystick and everything...”
He knew it! Mammon sighs, leaving his glasses on the ground and gets up to go to the TV complaining : “The Great Mammon is such nice and amazin’ big bro! Y’all should be grateful!”
“Meh... It's not like we have a choice.”
It wasn't a very mean remark, Levi could say worse but these words have the effect of a stab in the heart for Mammon. They can’t see his expression right now, even if it’s reflected on the screen. With his sleeve, Mammon rubs the strange stain but something touches his wrist. What is this ? Could it be his imagination? Wait…
A strong hand coming out of the screen grabs his arm. Before Mammon understands what’s going on, that hand pulls him into the TV and he's sucked into it.
What the fuck just happened right now?
MC and Leviathan both look at each other, thinking that the other would surely have an answer, but they remain silent, their stunned expressions answering their doubts.
Yes, Mammon has disappeared and no, it wasn't planned. It wasn’t a prank from Leviathan and MC know better than anyone that human games don’t work like that.
Oh shit... Lucifer will be angry as hell!

Something is wrong.
Mammon feels like he fell several meters on his back. What happened?
“Fuck, where am I…?”
Mammon opens his eyes and realizes that he is in a dirty public toilet. It's disgusting! Quickly, he gets up and looks at his everyday clothes. Luckily, they haven't been stained with dirt, but if he stays here any longer, the gross smell might get on his clothes!
“Shit…!”
He leaves this place but upon opening the door, Mammon realizes that he is no longer in Devildom. He must be in a rest area, somewhere in the Human Realm. He is high up on a parking, in front of a large lake surrounded by tall trees.
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
“What the… HEYYYYY! THERE IS SOMEBODY HERE?”
No response.
A cold draught passes and Mammon rubs his forearms to warm himself, but also to calm his anxiety. He doesn’t like this… What problem did he get himself into this time?
“Wait… I was with Levi and MC, we played a game but somethin’ grabs me and… Now I’m here.”
Human’s games aren’t like this! They are not “cursed” like the ones in Devildom, right? Or maybe…
“LEVIIIIIII! YOU TRICKED ME YOU LITTLE SHIT!”
No response, again. He doesn't know if it was intentional or not, but he can't help but be in the damn game, can he? Is he really alone here? Not even the characters are in this world? Logically, James should be where he is, but Mammon is alone. Well, maybe that’s better that way because the protagonist killed his wife.
And now, what should he do? It’s not the first time he is trapped in a game but here, he is alone and it’s not a dating sim. If there were one of his brothers with him, or at least MC, he would already be much less stressed than he is now! Lucifer, Levi, or even Satan!
It’s a fucking horror game. And a dirty one!
Wait, maybe it’s better that he is alone after all...
“Fuck ya, Levi… Guess I need to finish this shitty game… But how?”
There is a car open in front of him and the owner isn’t even real so… Let’s check in! Mammon goes to the old blue car and searches the driver's side. Nobody inside, only a map and two strange letters:
“The 'value' is a lot of things:
- The amount of money for something
- The importance and worth of someone/something for someone
- The usefulness of someone/something
- The number or the symbol that represents an amount of something
The 'value' is the most important thing for the Avatar of Greed.
But what is his value? ”
Mammon doesn’t know what to expect because yes, the definitions are right but what is this question? Is this a puzzle of the game? Or a trap? Fuck it. He reads the second letter but Mammon is surprise: it’s the writing style of Lucifer! It takes him hundreds of years to learn how to reproduce it to perfection for his tricks! Maybe Lucifer is in the game too? It would surprise him that his real big brother joined him...
“Mammon, where are you? I came to Silent Hill to meet you with our siblings. Do you hate me for the way I've treated you all these years? I'm sorry but I promise you, I'm different. I'm someone different, I'm the big brother you've always dreamed of, and I'll never let anyone hurt you again.
I'll be waiting for you at St Stella's Church. Funny, isn't it? Don't get me wrong, I still hate our Father, but this town was praying to another god, so this place isn’t awful to me and won't be for you.
If you read this letter, please be careful. This town is dangerous, even for a strong demon like you. I don’t want my favorite little brother to be hurt because of me.

Mammon doesn’t know what to think and the emotions he feels are strange too. That letter can’t be from Lucifer! His pride can’t let him says something like… That! And what does he mean by saying he is “different”? That he is the “big brother he has always dream of”? And all his little brothers are here too? And since when he is the favorite of Lucifer? He is only a disappointment for him!
Oh fuck.
Levi said that town creates monsters from traumas and fears… Why his brothers would be there? Mammon isn’t afraid of them! Okay, Lucifer scares him, but in that letter his big brother doesn’t seem to be a bad guy!
“If that man says he’s different from the real Lucifer… He should be an ally then.”
But what about the others? For his little brothers, he is a stupid and useless scumbag, and for the real Lucifer he is a loser, a shame… But if the false “big bro” loves him here, maybe the others will be like him?
He'd rather stay here until someone comes to get him, but unfortunately, Mammon knows he'll have to go to this town: Silent Hill. He knows there will be monsters for him, created from his fears but Mammon is ready to confronts them!
“The Great Mammon has no fear! If ya watch me Levi, I PROMISE THAT I WILL MAKE YOU PAY A LOT FOR THIS!”
He puts the letters back in his pockets and continues to search the car. Unfortunately, there were no weapons he could use to defend himself, nor clues. With the map in hands, he takes the path in the woods but deep down, he prays Diavolo that none of his brothers or MC will watch him. He may seem stupid but he has an idea of the kind of monsters that might be waiting for him...
Witches.

“Leviathan! What's the meaning of this?” asks Lucifer with bright red eyes of wrath, pointing the TV. “Why Mammon is in this game? What happened? And why ALL OF YOU are here with popcorns, snacks and drinks?”
Lucifer is pissed of. He was doing some paper works on his desk with his D.D.D to watch the live of Levi at the same time. And what does he see? Mammon waking up in a disgusting toilet, then in a parking that doesn't seem to belong to Devildom and the moment Lucifer realized what was going on... It was when Mammon read the second letter. For a minute, he really hoped it was a joke, but when something this strange happens in this house, Lucifer knows it can get out of hand.
Arriving at Leviathan's room for explanations, he didn't expect everyone to be gathered here and made comfortable, as if they were about to watch a family movie. Only MC seem to be uncomfortable and very worried by all this, which doesn't reassure Lucifer either.
“You should sit with us, Lucifer!” says Levi happily pointing to a chair. “Mammon in Silent Hill, I can't imagine the mess it's going to be! LOL! LMAO!”
“It’s not funny, Levi!” protest MC.
“Levi, how did you do that to Mammon? Did you know the game was cursed?” asks Belphie wrapping his shoulders with a blanket, next to Beelzebub.
“Nope, it was an accident! I only asked Mammon to remove a stain and something drawn him into the screen. Then the game started with the cinematic of the beginning but with Mammon instead of James.”
Did Lucifer hear him well? They saw Mammon being kidnapped by the game and they did nothing to save him?
“And you did nothing to help him?”
“It happened too fast...” confess MC with guilty look. “We tried to call him but he doesn't hear us! I am so sorry… I don't know what to do anymore...!”
MC feel bad for having seen it all and not being able to do anything about it. MC even tried to use their pact to get him back, but Mammon is still in the game.
“Don’t be sad MC, you tried to help Mammon and he is okay.” reassures Beel with a tender smile. “I am sure Mammon will be back soon.”
“That’s bad. The situation is really bad.” states Lucifer with an annoyed sigh.
“Lucifer, that’s Mammon.” says Asmodeus without care. “You shouldn’t be that worry about him! He is stupid, I am pretty sure a serious game like this won’t hurt him.”
“Asmo, you still mad about the letter of the Lucifer’s alter-ego? Saying Mammon is his favorite?” questions Satan.
“Shut up! That’s not the real Lucifer and the game takes such pity on Mammon so bad that it creates a new Lucifer to help him! It’s pathetic!”
Asmo is angry, even more than before. He still thinks that Mammon stole his precious jewelry and his stupid brother has been cooking awfully for weeks! His body reacts badly to eating his filthy dishes, not as disgusting as Solomon’s but still! And now this?
Lucifer let him be because Mammon is his favorite. Asmodeus wants to be Lucifer’s favorite too! Why it is always Mammon? Asmodeus causes fewer problems than him and he is lovely, no? He doesn’t hate Mammon, he's still his big brother! But being in his shadow is difficult for him.
“Everyone knows that Lucifer has a soft spot for Mammon…” says Beelzebub while eating popcorn with Belphegor. “That’s not new.”
Lucifer sigh with anger now. He can understand why everyone think Mammon is his “favorite” but that’s not true. He loves all his brothers equally, but he is closer with Mammon because the Second-Born keeps causing problems and Lucifer is the only one who can fix them. He can't let Mammon tarnish his image, because it would tarnish Lord Diavolo’s reputation too!
“Inevitably, the game can end quickly with such an ally, right Levi?” asks Satan.
“No. If Lucifer is Maria’s equivalent, he will be an enemy in the end of the game.”
“What do you mean?”
Apart from him and MC, nobody knows the all details of Silent Hill 2 despite his explanations at dinner. Understanding this, Levi forces himself to spoil more of the game so they can understand.
“Maria is the alter-ego of Mary, the dead wife of James. Maria was everything James wanted, she was an ally but in the end, she becomes the last enemy to kill.”
The last enemy to kill.
To kill.
Lucifer's throat goes dry hearing this. Mammon is powerful but Lucifer is much more. What if the game had taken this into account? Mammon would have no chance of killing a perfect alter-ego of him!
And why him? Why this letter? Despite his pride, Lucifer knows that he isn’t the best to show his love to his family but at this point? No! Mammon knows that he loves him, right? Yes, Lucifer is harsh with the punitions but never he would hurt his little brother this much! He knows more than anyone Mammon, he would have known if he was too severe with him!
He's worried about Mammon, ever since he's been trying to "change." What happened to him? Lucifer tried to get the names of the witches who employ Mammon like a money-slave but his brother said it wasn’t them. Mammon would never lie to him.
But maybe…
“Leviathan, stop the live now. I don’t want Diavolo watching this.” orders Lucifer while sitting on a chair. “Asmodeus, I want Solomon here. Maybe he can help us free Mammon from this game.”
“I really need to bother Solomon for this?”
“Asmodeus, I am serious. I can understand why you are angry but the life of Mammon is maybe in danger. There is nothing funny here and I won’t tolerate a such attitude again.”
When Lucifer uses a full name with such a voice, he isn't just serious and angry.
He is scared.
A visceral fear of once again seeing one of his siblings die before his eyes. Asmo understands this and call Solomon with his D.D.D while Levi ends the live but forgets to stop recording. Strangely, as they had prepared for a fun evening of watching their brother get lost in Silent Hill, the atmosphere suddenly changed into something heavier and more uncertain. The anxiety that Lucifer feels is starting to take on everyone’s guts, slowly but surely.
“Lucifer, are you serious? About Mammon being in danger…” asks Belphegor with a gloomy tone, taking in hand the glasses of his big brother. “Are you not exaggerating?”
“This game is cursed and creates monsters from fears… Everyone has serious fears, even Mammon and he is alone.”
“We all know that Mammon is easily scared, and now he is trapped in a horror game psychologic… Oh shit.” says Satan realizing the problem.
If Satan found this game interesting, it was because the story seemed rather dark and the city itself intriguing... He even imagined the monsters that would appear if it were him, but what about Mammon? Apart from ghosts and witches, he knows no other fear that could kill him... But everyone has secret fears and traumas, even Mammon as well as they know him.
“We can do nothing to help him?” asks Beelzebub, anxious.
“That's what I told you from the start!” cry MC with fear and anger. “Mammon is seriously danger and he must be free from this game quickly!”
“Solomon will come here in few minutes with Luke and Simeon, they are worried about Mammon.” states Asmo finishing his call.
“Good. Now, we wait without approaching the screen.” orders Lucifer crossing his arms. “Leviathan, tell us more about this game. We need to know what Mammon will affront alone.”
It should have been an enjoyable evening, but now it becomes a nightmare for everyone because Mammon is trapped in a dangerous cursed game. Lucifer doesn’t know if he should be scared for the monsters or what they might find out about Mammon. Even if Lucifer has known Mammon since his creation and has always been close to him, there are surely secrets that his little brother never confided in him.
