The Star's Sadness

Summary:

Takes place in the ep where Hikaru's dad came back from overseas. We'll take it as instead of the dad going back the next day I changed it to a week.

Hikaru was excited to be with her family as a whole again but her happiness didn't last long.

Chapter 1: He is back

It's just another day outside the space ship as everyone does their own things. Yuni is just leaning against the ship. Elena and Madoka are talking about their futures and Lala is eating the onigiri Hikaru gave to her.

Hikaru is just humming to herself happily. Then Lala asked "Hikaru you looked more cheerful than usual did something good happened-lun?"

"Ah it's not that it has happened more like it's going to happen!" Hikaru said. "lun?" Lala was confused on what Hikaru meant by that.

Then they heard someone said "Hikaru!" They all turned behind to see a person with dark brown hair, dark brown beard and dark red eyes.

They wore a sky blue shirt with large white "UMA" text on the front, and beige army trousers. They also have a pair of sunglasses on their hair and wears a backpack.

They also wore a black belt and olive colored boots. While everyone else was confused how they know that name Hikaru immediately recognized who the person was.

"Dad!" She shouted running to hug her father. "Eh? That's Hikaru's dad?" Lala asked. Not just her the rest were also shocked to see Hikaru's dad. But it's only because they haven't seen her father before.

Then her father turned to see Lala and the others he asked Hikaru if they were her friends to which Hikaru nodded. He smiled and introduced himself.

"Hello friends of Hikaru! My name is Hoshina Youichi and I'm Hikaru's father!" He then turned to see Fuwa Prunce Yuni and Lala. That's when he got really excited as he took out his camera with his sparkling eyes.

"What is this creature? A real uma? Or-" "Dad! She's not a creature Fuwa is Fuwa!" Hikaru told her father. "So your name is Fuwa?" Youichi asked. "Fuwa~!" Fuwa replied.

Everyone but Hikaru was shocked to see Fuwa speak as they were afraid that the dad will do something to her. How wrong they are. Instead of that Youichi with his sparkling eyes says "Kirayaba~!".

"Yep that's Hikaru's dad all right." Elena and the rest was convinced that he's Hikaru dad as he use the same catchphrase as Hikaru. They were relieved as they know Youichi won't harm Fuwa or Prunce.

Youichi then starts examining Prunce Lala and Yuni excitedly. Then Hikaru asked "oh right! Dad can you keep Lala and the others a secret?" "No problem I promise I won't tell a soul!" Youichi replied.

After he calmed down from the excitement they part ways as he Hikaru and Lala went back home. Hikaru is excited as her whole family is together again.

When they reached home everyone greeted Youichi with smiles. Although Hikaru's grandfather Hoshina Harukichi looked like he doesn't care about it Hikaru and Lala notices that the grandfather smiled a little.

But after that he went back to his room. Lala was curious why Harukichi acted that way towards Youichi. I mean if he is happy to see his son why didn't he join the rest?

Later that night after Lala's birthday and Youichi's welcome back party, before they sleep Lala asked Hikaru "Hikaru why did your grandfather not express that he is happy openly-lun?"

Hikaru went quiet for a while before answering. "... That's because of Dad's decision to quit his former job and go overseas..." "Oyo? Your father works overseas-lun?" Hikaru nods.

"Dad is a biologist who is studying unidentified mysterious animals and aliens and is also a teacher at a university. That's why he was excited to sees you Fuwa Yuni and Prunce." Hikaru explained.

"...As a result we could only see him once a year." "Eh? Only once a year-lun?" Again Hikaru nods. "At first grandpa was against dad's decision to travel abroad that's why when he couldn't stop him he was angry."

"But in the end it's just because grandpa couldn't be honest with himself." Hikaru said. "...What about you Hikaru?" "Eh?" "Hikaru are you mad about your dad working overseas-lun?"

"... I'm different from grandpa when dad wanted to go overseas I supported him but ig there were times where I rlly want dad back home tho.." Hikaru replied with a sad face.

"That's why when dad came back tdy I was rlly happy." She continued. "I see...how long does your father usually stays before working again-lun?" Lala asked.

"Normally dad stays for about a week before going back." Hikaru replied. "I see...it seems like I learnt more about Hikaru tdy-lun." Lala said before going to sleep.

"Lala..." I see Lala and the others didn't know much about my family at first...well I guess it's fine since I have nothing to hide from my friends. Hikaru thought before going to sleep as well.

Chapter 2: The Shock

Summary:

The next morning Hikaru went down and overheard her dad's conversation on the phone what happens after is not going to be good for her.

The next morning Hikaru woke up and saw that Lala was still asleep. Since it was a weekend she decided to not wake her up and went down to have breakfast after she brushed her teeth and all.

When Hikaru went down after changing her clothes she could hear her father talking to someone on the phone. She couldn't help but hide somewhere to hear the conversation.

"Why boss? I just came back home with my family." Boss...? Dad is talking with his job's boss? What for...? Hikaru thought before continuing to listen.

"... Alright but when do i need to be back?" Youichi asked. Then after hearing the reply Youichi shouted. "What did u say?! That's so sudden!"

I wonder when Dad needs to go back i hope at least it's not soon...Hikaru thought. After the call ended Hikaru came out from her hiding spot.

"Good morning Dad!" Youichi turned to see his daughter. "Oh good morning Hikaru! Where is Lala?" "Still sleeping i don't want to wake her up since it's the weekend."

"I see..." "Ne dad..?" "Yeah?" "What were you talking about on your phone...?" Youichi was shocked when he heard Hikaru asked that qn.

"I see..so you heard my conversation huh?" Youichi asked. "...Sorry." "Ah don't apologize it's not like it's a secret or anything. To answer your question..." Youichi paused before continuing.

"My boss just called me. He wants me to go back to investigate some stuff." I thought so...Hikaru thought before asking. "When are you going back?"

"... Tomorrow morning." Hikaru was shocked hearing this. She knows her dad needs to go back soon due to his work but she didn't know it will be this soon.

Hikaru was too shocked she stood still until her dad asked "Hikaru...?". Youichi was about to asked if she is okay when Hikaru ran out of the house.

"Hikaru!" Youichi wanted to chase after her when he heard a "good morning-lun" he turned to see Lala awake. "Lala..." "Oyo? Where's Hikaru? I thought she's at the kitchen eating breakfast-lun."

"Sorry Lala but i need to catch up with Hikaru as fast as i can." Youichi said confusing Lala. "What do you mean-lun?" Lala asked. "...I think...I just hurt Hikaru's feelings..." He replied surprising Lala.

"Eh? What did you say to her-lun?" Youichi went quiet before answering. "I'm... going have to go back to my work tmr morning..." "Oyo?!" Lala was shocked.

Now she knows what he meant by he may have hurt Hikaru's feelings. "In that case let me go change my clothes real quick-lun!" Lala said.

"I'll search for Hikaru with you-lun!" After that Lala went back up and quickly changed her clothes. When she's done she went back down and she and Youichi went outside to find Hikaru.

Meanwhile Hikaru was running with all her might. Elena and Madoka who was on the way to the usual meeting place which is where the rocket ship is saw Hikaru running.

"Oh Hikaru! Good Mor-" Before Elena could finish her grettings Hikaru ran past her and Madoka. While running past them Madoka saw that Hikaru was crying as she has tears on her face.

"...Hikaru?" Elena knew something was wrong as Hikaru wouldn't be so blind to run past them without reason. She was about to run after her when Madoka told her not to.

"Madoka?" "We should let Hikaru be alone for now." Elena was confused. "Why?" "...Hikaru was crying." Elena gasped. She would never thought that the Hikaru who is always energetic and cheerful would cry.

Just then they saw Lala and Youichi coming towards them. "Lala and Hikaru's dad? What's the rush?" Elena asked. Lala was tired from running but she managed to ask them.

"Huff...puff...have you...huff...puff...seen...huff..Hikaru-lun?" "If it's Hikaru you're looking for we just saw her." Madoka replied.

"What happened?" Elena asked. Youichi explained the situation to Elena and Madoka. "Eh? You're going back tmr?" Youichi nodded answering Elena's question.

"I see...no wonder Hikaru was crying when she ran past us." Madoka said shocking Lala and Youichi. "Hikaru...was crying-lun?" Madoka nodded.

"Hikaru..." Youichi clenched his fist before running to find Hikaru again. "Wait!" Madoka said stopping Youichi. "Madoka? What's wrong-lun?" Lala asked.

"If it's alright with u...do u mind letting Hikaru alone for a while? I believe that's what she needs at the moment." Madoka told Youichi.

"But..." "Everyone will have times where they want to be alone that includes Hikaru. And even if after a while she's still not over it then we will help her with her troubles we are her friends after all." Madoka said.

"What she said! That's why u don't have to worry about Hikaru leave the confrontation to us!" Elena said with a smile. Lala nodded. Youichi was surprised.

He smiled thinking how lucky Hikaru is to have such wonderful friends. "I understand for now I'll leave Hikaru to you but if I'm needed let me know I'll come as soon as possible."

Youichi said before going to back to the hse to let the rest of the family know the situation. In the meantime Tenjo was wondering who she should use the corrupted Star Color Pendant on.

She was thinking when she stumbled upon a Hikaru who is running while crying. She recognized the girl to be Cure Star. That's when she smirked knowing who her target will be.

Notes:

Oh well Hikaru was shocked that her dad had to leave so soon. It shocked her to the point she ran away. Ignore the fact that Tenjo has the Dark Star Color Pen that Aiwarn has.

Chapter 3: The Broken Star

Summary:

Hikaru ran and ran and before she knew it she was at Ryoutarou's observatory. She was about to enter when a certain voice called out to her...

Hikaru was running and running and after a while she stopped. She looked up to see Ryoutarou's observatory. Whenever she's feeling down she'll always come to his place.

It seems that when she ran away from home the first place she thought of running to is here. She was about to enter when a certain voice called out to her.

"Found you Cure Star!" Hikaru who was surprised looked behind her and saw Tenjo with her Nottoreis. "Tenjo..." Hikaru softly said.

Then all of a sudden the clouds turn dark and rain drops started falling down. "Why...are you here?" Hikaru asked. "Why? That's because I'm here for you." Tenjo replied.

Hikaru was confused what Tenjo meant by that. Then as if reading her mind Tenjo brought out the corrupted Star Color Pen. Hikaru gasped upon seeing it.

Why does Tenjo have it? I thought Aiwarn was the only one who could use the Dark Star Color Pen! Hikaru thought. Then Tenjo chuckled.

"Cure Star I wonder how you'll look like when u become an enemy of your friends." Tenjo smirked evilly. "What do u mean? Why would I want to become my friends' enemy?" Hikaru asked.

"Ara? Who said about u wanting to be one? I'm going to forcefully make u into one!" Tenjo smirked. Hikaru realizes what Tenjo meant by that but she was too late.

In the meantime the rest of the cures are inside the rocket as it's raining outside. "Hikaru is still not back?" Yuni asked. "Seems like it..." Elena said with a concerned face.

"Is Hikaru rlly okay-lun? It's raining outside too-lun..." Lala said as she's worried for her friend. "Ne Madoka I think we should go find Hikaru." Elena said.

"I would like to agree but..." Madoka wanted to say that because it's raining outside they shouldn't search for Hikaru now but somewhere deep inside her heart she herself also wants to find Hikaru.

"Actually nvm let's all go find her." Everyone nods and they all head out to search for their friend. They were about to start when Fuwa alerted them that there's a corrupted Star Color Pen signal nearby.

Everyone gasped and Prunce asks Fuwa where the signal is at. Fuwa then points at an observatory. Lala immediately recognizes that place as Ryoutarou's.

Then Lala remembered that Ryoutarou once told her and the others that whenever Hikaru has troubles she would always go there.

"There! Hikaru is over there-lun!" Everyone else looked at Lala even though they want to ask how she knows that, they had no time to waste if they want to help their friend so they head towards to observatory.

It didn't take long for them to rch the place but instead of Hikaru or Ryoutarou what awaits them is Tenjo and her Nottoreis. "Tenjo!" Elena shouted.

Tenjo turned to see the rest of the cures and smirked. "Ara? I see the rest of the team is here. I'm assuming you're here to save your friend?"

"We just want to help our friend Hikaru with her troubles so why do u have to get in our way now?" Yuni asked. Then Tenjo chuckled. "I wonder if u can say the same thing after seeing this."

She points her fan up and a star shaped Nottoriga with rings around the top left and right points appeared from behind. "A Nottoriga? How? I thought only Aiwarn is capable of doing that?" Madoka asked.

"That's a secret~" Tenjo said. Lala looked closer inside the heart and was shocked to see who is inside. "No way...Hikaru..." "Eh?" Everyone was stunned with that they just heard.

"Lala? What did u just...?" Elena asked. "Hikaru...Hikaru is inside of the Nottoriga-lun!" Lala shouted making everyone gasped.

"Ara you alr guessed it? I guess that's to be expected from her friend." Tenjo said. "It can't be...Tenjo u used the Dark Star Color Pen on her?" Elena asked.

"Oh yes I did." Tenjo smiled. "Tenjo...I will never forgive u-lun! How dare you take advantage of Hikaru's sadness!" Lala was angry that her first friend turned into a Nottoriga.

"We'll defeat u and bring Hikaru back!" She continued as she brings out her Star Color Pendant. The rest follow suit by taking out theirs too. Then they prepare to transform to save Hikaru.

Hikaru turned into a Nottoriga! Lala and the others are determined to save her but can they do it?

Chapter 4: Despair under the rain

Summary:

Hikaru has turned into a Nottoriga and now it's up to her friends to save her. But how will they save Hikaru if they cannot use their Southern Cross Shot?

"Star Color Pendant! Color Charge! Kirameku hoshi no chikara de akogare no watashi egaku yo Twinkle Twinkle Pretty Cure Twinkle Twinkle Pretty Cure Twinkle Twinkle Pretty Cure Star Twinkle
Star Twinkle Pretty Cure!"

"Ten ni Amaneku Milky Way! Cure Milky! Uchu wo Terasu! Shakunetsu no Kirameki! Cure Soleil! Yozora ni Kagayaku! Shinpi no Tsukiakari! Cure Selene! Ginga ni hikaru nijiiro no spectrum! Cure Cosmo!"

After the transformation they all went to attack the Nottoriga to save Hikaru. "Ara it's funny how u think u can actually save her when u don't even how much she's suffering." Tenjo mocked while ordering the Nottoriga to attack.

"No we will save her!" Soleil said while blocking the attacks from the Nottoriga. "We know that Hikaru is having some troubles that's why we want help her-nya!"

Cosmo said as she reflected the Nottoriga attack that was about to hit Soleil. "We also know the reason Hikaru is feeling down! That's what we are here for!"

Selene said as she used Selene Arrow on the Nottoreis who are protecting the Nottoriga. "Ara u say that but u don't know why she doesn't want her dad to leave so soon now do u?"

Milky was shocked she asked Tenjo while she zapped the Nottoreis. "Why do u know about that-lun?" "Why? It's obviously because I heard her feelings." Tenjo answered.

"Although pretty pathetic if u ask me. Family reunion is just a waste of time. It's better to be alone since no one will disturb u." She said angering Milky.

"Precure! Milky Shock!" The lighting hits the remaining Nottoreis that was protecting the Nottoriga. "WHAT DO U KNOW ABOUT HIKARU-LUN?! HIKARU CAN ONLY SEE HER DAD ONCE PER YR OF COURSE SHE'LL BE SAD TO SEE HIM LEAVE SO SOON-LUN!"

Milky yelled shocking the rest of the cures. "Hikaru...can only see her dad once per yr...?" Cosmo said. The rest were speechless too.

Now that they think about it although they know Hikaru's personality they don't know much about her family. At first they didn't even know that her mother is a mangaka.

There were more things they didn't know about Hikaru. But that didn't stop them from wanting to save her. "Precure! Soleil Shoot!" The fire hit the Nottoriga but it only pushed it slightly backwards.

"Precure! Selene Arrow!" The attack was about to reach when the Nottoriga threw the ring from the top right of their point and it cuts the arrow.

The cures Fuwa and Prunce gasped. "Hikaru..." Concerned that her friend may be hurting more than she thought Milky ran towards the Nottoriga and shouted.

"Hikaru! Get a hold of yourself and come back to your senses-lun! Your dad is worried about you-lun!" "Milky..." Selene and the others knew how much Hikaru means to her as she is her very first friend.

Just then they heard Hikaru speak from inside the Nottoriga heart. "...n't want..." "Eh?" "I...don't want dad...to go back..." "Hikaru..."

The cures especially Milky can't stand to see their precious friend in that state any longer. "We need to do something...!" Cosmo said.

"But how? We can't use the Southern Cross Shot without Hikaru." Soleil stated. While the cures were discussing how to bring Hikaru back Tenjo is just watching the drama unfold.

She loves every moment of this. Without everyone there's no way they could purify the Nottoriga and save Hikaru. She praised herself for choosing Hikaru as her target as now she sees hope in crushing the cures.

Notes:

It seems like the cures especially Milky cares about Hikaru a lot. Milky even gets angry for Hikaru's sake when Tenjo said that family reunion is a waste of time. How does the cures plan to take back Hikaru tho?

Chapter 5: Redemption

Summary:

The cures are now trying to figure out how to save Hikaru as they can't use the Southern Cross Shot without her. Just then a certain someone came...

𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝘂𝘄𝗮

"So? How do we save Hikaru-nya?" Cosmo asked. "It's going to be difficult...Our usual solo attacks won't work and we can't use Southern Cross Shot..." Selene said.

"Hmmm why don't we try calling out to her?" Soleil suggested. "What do u mean-lun?" Milky asked, confused.

"As far as I can know right now Hikaru is feeling lonely that's why she doesn't want her dad to leave." Soleil explained.

"In that case we have to let her know she's not alone and she'll nvr be. Hikaru's mind is in darkness now so we just need her to see the light." She continued.

"I'm fine with that but who will be the one who will show her that?" Cosmo asked. Then they all turned their head towards Milky. "Oyo?!"

"Seems like we have our answer." Soleil said. Selene and Cosmo nodded. "M-me? But why me-lun?" "Come on don't ask the obvious." Cosmo said.

"It's because you know Hikaru more than we do." Selene added. "We'll be sure to support you from behind so make sure u get to her!" Soleil concluded.

"I don't rlly get how I should do it but I'll try-lun!" Milky said. Then she turned to the Nottoriga. "Wait for us Hikaru we'll save you for sure-lun!"

"Ara? Done with your meeting? I guess it's time to finish you then do it Nottoriga!" Tenjo ordered. The Nottoriga threw both of its ring towards the cures.

"I'll stop it!" "I'll help you!" Selene and Soleil said preparing to stop the attack. "Precure! Soleil Shoot!" "Precure! Selene Arrow!" The attacks hit the rings breaking them.

"Milky! Now!" Soleil signalled. Milky was about to run towards the Nottoriga when a certain voice called. "WAIT A MINUTE!!!" Everybody including Tenjo and her Nottoreis jumped as they were startled.

They then looked behind to see Youichi. "Eeeeeeh?! Hikaru's dad?! Why?" Soliel asked. "Huh? You know who I am?" Youichi wondered.

"Oh could it be...? You are Hikaru's friends?" Youichi asked. "Ah...yes! Right now Hikaru is inside of that thing and we're trying to save her!" Selene said while pointing to the Nottoriga.

"Just what is that thing...?" Youichi asked. "That monster is created from people's negative feelings and..." Before Cosmo could finish she heard the father say "say no more."

He knew exactly how Hikaru turn into that monster with just that explanation. "...I'll do it." "Huh?" "I'll try and talk to Hikaru." The cures Fuwa and Prunce were shocked to hear him say that.

"Are you an idiot? It's dangerous for a normal human to fight against that monster!" Cosmo said. "Maybe. But Hikaru is my daughter as a parent I'll do whatever it takes to save my daughter." Youichi said.

"And...the reason Hikaru became like this is most likely my fault that's why i have to be the one mending things with her." He added.

"...Then we'll support you-lun!" "Milky?" "Initially i was supposed to reach out to Hikaru but...if it's you i feel like she'll open up more since you're her dad-lun."

"You..." "Milky are you serious?" Cosmo asked which resulted in Milky nodding. "I... believe in him-lun." Milky said. Cosmo then sighed with a facepalm.

"Looks like I've got no choice but you better get through her or else I won't forgive you!" She said while pointing her fingers to Youichi.

"...Leave it to me! Wait for me Hikaru we'll save you soon enough!" Youichi said before putting his bag down so that it's easier to move.

"Ara a normal human trying to defeat a Nottoriga how hilarious you were the one who brought your daughter upon this and now you seriously think you can save her?" Tenjo said mockingly.

"It's precisely cause it's my fault I have to be the one who do this." Youichi said. Prunce and Fuwa then went in front of the cures "We'll help too-prunce!" "Fuwa!"

"Interesting then let's see how you fare against your own daughter Nottoriga!" Tenjo ordered. "Nottoriga!" The Nottoriga moved to attack.

Notes:

Took me long enough to update lol but I admit I was stuck but then tdy I suddenly know what to add now the cures and Hikaru's father are planning to save Hikaru but question is how.

Chapter 6: Regaining The Imagination

The Nottoriga moved to attack but got stopped as Milky used her Milky Shock. The Cures continuously used their Soleil Shoot, Selene Arrow and Cosmo Shining on the Nottoriga. As it fell to the ground Fuwa came in front and suddenly shone a light.

"Fuwa!" She said. It blinded both the Nottoriga and Tenjo as both of them cover the face with their arms. "Hikaru Papa! Now!" Soleil asked. Youichi then took a breathe in before shouting. "HIKARU!!!" "Nottoriga??" The Nottoriga said in surprise as it flinched.

"Can you hear me Hikaru? It's me your dad!" Youichi said. "I'm really sorry. I knew telling you about me going back to work early hurts you but I didn't know it hurts you to the point you became a monster..." He added.

"...You see after your friends told me to give you some time alone I went back to the house and gave my boss a call. I begged him to let me stay for at least a day more. But he was persistent saying if I need to earn money I have to return to work."

"But I told him that my family could only see me once per year so it's not everyday I get to be with them. Besides I want to do something for my daughter whom I hurt. I hurt her feelings so I'm not going back until it's solved!" He said.

Then Milky stepped forward. "...Ne Hikaru? I know how it feels like to be apart from your family. I mean I'm from Saman and yet I'm here on Earth with my friends-lun. Ah of course I still contact my family even now. But Hikaru, don't ever forget. No matter how far apart our families are, our spirit will always be together. Besides Hikaru you're not alone-lun."

"...You still have me, Elena, Madoka, Yuni, Prunce and Fuwa. So don't worry-lun! We won't let you be sad and alone-lun!" Milky said. "Hah! As if that alone is enough to save her! Go Nottoriga!" Tenjo said.

However the Nottoriga didn't move. "Wha-?!" Tenjo was shocked the Nottoriga didn't follow her orders. Then the Star Twinkle Precure team saw that Hikaru moved inside the Nottoriga. "...Lala...Dad..." Hikaru said.

"Hikaru!" The Cures are gasped and said. "....I'm sorry too..." "Huh?" "..It's been so long since Dad came home so I wanted to be with him longer...especially because I wanted to tell him that I made friends..." "Hikaru.." Milky said. "...But because of my selfishness...I ran away from the fact dad had to return to work eventually..."

"....It's okay Hikaru." Youichi said. "Even if I go back to work we can always contact each other anytime. Ah of course I'll be the one who start the calls. That's why...let's go back home...mom and the others are worried." He added.

"...Yeah...Enough of me moping around..." Hikaru says as she seen is trying to get up. "...I let my guard once but I'm not doing that again...After all...attacking my friends just because of my selfishness...ISN'T KIRAYABA AT ALL!!" Hikaru shouted as her pendant shone. "Wha-?!" Tenjo and her Nottraiders cover their eyes with their arms as it's too bright for them.

Cosmo then took the chance and jumped towards Tenjo. She then kicked the corrupted Star Color Pen off her as Soleil went to grab it causing it to turn back to normal. The Nottoriga then disappeared as Hikaru comes back down. As soon as her legs touched the floor Milky immediately ran towards Hikaru and gave her a hug. "Hikaru! I'm sooo glad you're back-lun!" Milky said in relief and happiness.

"Milky...Yep! I'm back!" Hikaru says as she returned the hug. "I can't believe this...you're saying a mere bond is stronger than a Precure's twisted imagination?" Tenjo asked in disbelief. "With the bonds of family and friends not even twisted imagination can stop us-nya." She said. "Khhh...Don't think you've won with this!" Tenjo said before retreating with her Nottraiders. "Hikaru...." Youichi said making Hikaru turn to him. Hikaru flinched as her dad had an serious expression.

"Um...Dad...I'm...." Youichi then patted Hikaru's head as he said "...Don't apologize. I was the one at fault. I didn't realize how much you wanted to tell me about your friends. You've really grown Hikaru. As your dad I can never get any prouder." "Dad...." "Come let's go home we worried the rest of our family."

"...Yep!" Hikaru said as she and Youichi head home after waving goodbye to the Cures. Hikaru had to do it so her friends' identities doesn't get revealed. In the meantime the Cures quickly turned back to their civilian forms as Lala hurry heads back home. Hikaru got a little scolding from her grandfather but it was because he was worried for her.

Hikaru knew she deserved that scolding so she let herself get scolded. The very next day Hikaru and Lala who woke up early waved goodbye to Youichi who had to go back to work overseas with a smile.

Hikaru is very happy that she finally get to meet her dad after so long. Lala learnt that Hikaru's family could only meet the dad only once per yr and that Harukichi is a tsundere.
