If he can only get Rey to listen and take his hand, he's confident a new era of politics and balance can begin. He knew very well when he offered Rey his hand on the Supremacy a year earlier that she was his 'equal in the Light' and that she is a Jedi, but that didn't stop him. He still wants her by his side to rule with him. Will he ever convince her? There will also be galactic challenges that Kylo will face alone for a while and he hopes Rey will eventually join him, but he also hopes one day she will fall in love with him as he has her!
