(AN: I have very little knowledge of death note so… this won't make any sense but whatever)
I stand at the stove watching Youtube while I crack some eggs into a bowl, I add some seasoning and a few other ingredients to make a delicious omelette. I then go to turn on my gas stove the flames won't turn on the first time so I turn it off and on again it still doesn't work.
I can hear a hissing noise and the smell of gas fills the room. Wait fuck, my parents warned me about this, Isn't that a sign of a gas leak?
I freak out trying to figure out what to do, in my panic I don't turn the stove off and a flame flickers on the gas burner mixing with the flammable gas in the air creating a massive blast of fire.
Shit.
The explosion rings in my ears as my body is blasted through the air like a rag doll. I get launched heavily into a wall head first and the world fades to black.
I jolt awake, thank God that was just a dream. I go to stand up out of bed when I realise my limbs are a lot taller than usual… weird.
I get up to go to the bathroom when I realise I am not in my room… what the fuck where am I, I see somebody in the corner of my eyes and flinch spinning around to face them. I stare at the person before realising im looking in a mirror… what? I recognise my reflection as a character from an anime I watched a while ago Light from death note, I think? That is really freaky…
Holy shit I must be in a coma or something! That explosion wasn't a dream it was real life and now I'm here and I'm dreaming or, wait what if I'm dead? Nah I couldn't be.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I realise what that means. If I am in death note and I am Light that means that Shinigami dude, what was his name again? must be somewhere.
I look around my room and realise he isn't there. Mabey I need to touch the Death Note to see his dam I wish I paid more attention to the anime.
Where did he hide the death note? Urgh it's been so long since I watched the anime how am I meant to remember? It was in the locked drawer right???
I unlock the drawer using the key that was left inside once I get into the drawer I see a plain brown book, I open it and it's empty, Oh right the real death is hidden in a secret compartment.
I rack my brain trying to remember where he put it in the anime I remember the weird pen fire trap thing, okay so I just need to use the pen ink cartridge.
I dissemble a pen and stick it into the hole in the bottom of the drawer I don't remember how it works but somehow this dissembles the fire trap somehow?
I get the secret compartment open and take out the death note as soon as I touch it I see the shinigami standing off to the side watching me.
“Light why are you acting weird?” The shinigami says sounding uninterested in “Light’s” antics.
I nearly jump out of my skin when I see the light blue creature I keep my mouth shut though if I remember right I'm already a suspect of being Kira I don't want to make Light’s dad more suspicious by randomly screaming.
Wait fuck in the anime wasn't there cameras installed in Light’s room? I hope not that would overcomplicate things.
Whatever there are way more important things to worry about, there is no way I'm going to be able to do anything in this world without somebodies help and the shinigami (what was his name again, Ruki, Ryok? whatever.) Is my best option
"You're that shinigami dude Roki or whatever right? Well, I need your help I'm not from her I am not Light whatever the fuck his name is and I need to get back to my universe."
"..." The shinigami starts laughing manically “BaHAhAgaHa This’ll be fun!”
“Yeah yeah, lots of fun Roki but seriously what the fuck am I meant I do!”
“Roki???” The monster wheezes with laughter.
“ BaHHahAAhHahAaha no- you HahAaHaaha- no idiot it’s Ryuk” Ryuk seems infinitely amused with this situation which I don't find funny at all but whatever he must canonically be a dick head.
“Roki, Ryku sounds the same to me just help me out” I say getting increasingly frustrated
“Hmm.. what's in it for me”
( A.N; next chapter should be coming out next week sorry for the weird end I wanted to hurry up and post something but I didn't want to rush this conversation so.. Ill just finish it next update)
