Work Text:
The one for the land
Both scholar and sorcerer
Fire in his blood
The one for the sea
She who sings above the waves
Beware her sharp bite
Far off northern land
Trapped beneath the frozen earth
Mother of Shadows
What creatures lurk there
In the tunnels underground
Beneath Widdershins
Beautiful umbrae
Floating through the Draakenwood
Their touch burns their foes
The land of Egypt
Hot sun, buried history
What evil waits there
Flat land of Kansas
Consumed by these deadly spores
Fire burns the rust
Tool of the Outside
Calling to a thousand stars
Our town knows its own
******
Percival Whyborne
Lord of fire and lightning
Scared of a rooster
Twice abandoned son
Flawed man with a devil’s grin
Widdershins calls you
Look! Under the waves
A fin! A splash! Is it her?
Yes! Persephone
Hello cuttlefish
Maggie, the love of my life
You brought me waffles!
Miss Christine Putnam
Lady archeologist
That’s Doctor Putnam
Iskander Barnett
Both Egyptian and English
Masterful with knives
Head librarian
With bloody dictionary
Mister Quinn yells charge
He waits in shadow
Bane of rat things from Outside
Mighty hunter Saul
Where is the best spot
In Widdershins for a tryst?
Whyborne’s office desk!
