Work Text:
A package arrives at Gun's door, for the 7th time this week. Every damn day, he would recieve a package from a very 'unknown' someone, along with a note saying ''it reminded me of you.''
He knows damn well who's handwriting that was.
When a package arrived in front of his door for the first time on the first day when he arrived at Japan, he was quite suprised, to be honest. A package from unknown someone was the least thing he was expecting.
Opening the package, a dumb look plushie greets him. Very. Dumb. A grimace appears on his face as soon as he sees its ugly face. Huge googly eyes, cherry red lips with its light pink tongue out, those dumb plushies where you win from claw machines. Besides the plushie, a note catches his eye, reading, ''It reminded me of you.'' Theres no name, but he can tell who it is anyway.
He just rolls his eyes, crumbling the paper and throwing it on the table. The next thing he does is grabbing his phone and sending a picture of the plushie to Goo captioned with ''Care to explain what the actual fuck this is?''
The next day is the same, another package greeting him in front of his door. A sigh can be heard from him as he picks it up, entering his home and opening the package to see what kind of bullshit was waiting for him. This time, it was a duck. A yellow, duck.
..with obsidian eyes and white pupils, along with a red scar between his eyes.
Not to even mention the note. 'It reminded me of you.'
Gun knows damn well he didn't even purchase it like that.
—---
The sound of the bell ringing interrupts him from his cooking, the light pink apron wrapped around his waist feeling tighter than usual.
The delivery guy knows better than to laugh in the slightest when he's greeted by the sight of a guy with the darkest eyes glaring at him through his white pupils wearing a pink apron.
He's glad that he made it out of there alive, slightly bowing to the man in front of him before leaving.
With a sigh, Gun closes his door, glancing down at the box.
It's the 33th one.
He's been in Japan for a whole month and three days. And while all those days, he always saved those things that Goo sent him in a box.
Just two more days and.. he could go back to Goo.
He missed his scent.
He doesn't even realizes when he opened the box, his mind being too busy of the thought of Goo.
There it was, on his palm, a.. a plushie. Gun pauses and thinks for a second if that plushie was too small or if his hand was too big.
A plushie of him, to be more specific.
From his slicked back dark hair to his obsidian eyes, the dark red scar between his eyes, his overwhelming glare, and his dark suit along with his dark tie completed the plushie.
The plushie looked.. cute. Oddly enough.
Was that a pout? Or was he just frowning? Gun couldn't tell.
The note is there. Again. 'it reminded me of you.', as if Goo didn't make that plushie himself.
As he was about to observe the plushie some more, the notification sound grazes his ear.
"Did you like it?"
"I love it. I didn't know that you had such talent."
"heheeheh (✿^‿^)"
Gun's lips slightly hurts.
He finds himself smiling, over the plushie. Maybe because it looked cute, maybe because it smelt like Goo.
—---
Two days.
There were only two days remaining, and then Gun wouldn't have to wrap his arms around his plushie to get Goo's scent.
He's sitting on the couch. Waiting.
Waiting for the door to ring, waiting for the package. Package of whatever Goo sent to him now.
Tick tock tick tock.
The time seems to melt faster when Goo's not there with him. He's glad that it did, because now he could see what Goo sent him again.
This time, it was a ..
Pajama.
A light pink one. What is that even supposed to be? A dinasour?
He won't even read the note at this point, going straight to open his phone.
The chuckle escaping his lips was enough to show how adorable Goo looked in that outfit, lying on his bed and posing for him. His usual wide smile displaying on his lips, eyes slightly wide, his hand making a ✌️ sigh, the same dinasour pajamas as Gun's covering his body, except for it being green.
Theres a text under the picture, "I wanted the pink one, you better be fucking grateful. ( •̀_•́ )"
"And you can have it. There's no way that im wearing it."
">:O"
"Stop using those."
".·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·."
A sigh escapes Gun, as he was about to type, another message pops up.
"Hey, hold on!! My order came, I'll be back rq! While I'm gone for a few minutes, if i don't receive a photo of you wearing that pajama, you're blocked."
" .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·."
..Maybe those emoticons Goo used weren't that bad.
And.. maybe that pajama weren't that bad either.
—--
"guess who's back!!"
"Wait a minute"
"Did you fucking copied my emoticon?? You said that you didn't even like them!"
"Fucker"
"And where's my picture? I can't see any."
">:("
As he was about to block him, the image of Gun taking a picture of himself wearing that dinasour pajama stops him on his tracks.
Gun didn't look too annoyed. A numb expression, not too frustrated, nor too happy. Perhaps even he himself liked the idea of them wearing matching pajamas.
"hehehehehehehehe pink suits you (≧▽≦)"
"it suits you more."
"Everything suits me. (。•̀ᴗ-)✧"
"Also, look what i ordered!!"
Goo sends Gun a picture of black ramyeon, which makes Gun realize that he forgot to cook dinner tonight.
He ends up ordering the same thing and eating together on a video call, acting as if they were next to each other.
Gun doesn't takes off that pajama when he goes to sleep that night.
Nor does Goo.
—--------
The last day.
It was his last day in Japan. Finally. Fucking finally.
Goo doesn't knows about it. He didn't tell him about it.
-------
Goo wonders if Gun got his package, since Gun didn't text him about it yet.
He waits, waits and waits. The paws of his cat's poking his stomach makes him chuckle and turn his attention to her.
"That tickles. Did you miss Gun?" He coos, extending his hands to his cat's head, stroking her as his back lied on the couch.
The cat responds with a meow. Can this guy please stop talking about that Gun guy.
"I missed him too." Sighs Goo, his fingers caressing his cat's fur. "Why do you think he's not answering?"
The cat meows. Again.
He gasps, "You think he's cheating on me? Gun may be a pervert, but he wouldn't do that, would he?"
Another meow. What is this blonde talking about. Give her some food. She's hungry.
"It's alright, he should come soon, right? It's been like a mont- hey- HEY- STOP- WHERE ARE YOU GOI- NO- CAT! DONT- DONT TOUCH THAT!" Quickly getting into a sitting position as his cat jumped away from his lap to the table, her paws ready to attack the plushie of Goo that stood there.
He's glad that he was fast enough to catch his cat. "Cat. What did we talk about before?" He frowns down at the cat on his hands, sighing when the cat meows innocently.
------
"He still didn't say anything."
His cat doesnt seems to care, too busy snuggling and clawing Goo's chest. "You think he's busy?"
Man, can you keep quiet already? Can't you see that she's busy? She does not wants to listen to your dramatic love stories! "Would he be surprised when he sees you? He's not really good with cats, though. But maybe he'd like you."
Purrhaps.
It's almost midnight, yet, Gun still didn't text him anything, not even seeing, nor replying the good morning text he sent him.
Whatever. If Gun isnt there for him, his cat is.
His eyelids suddenly feels heavier, slowly shutting down on their own.
-----
With a groan, he slowly opens his eyes, caused by the doorbell ringing. Getting into a sitting position, he rubs his eyes to get rid of his blurry sight, then walking up to the door. Which fucker dared to interrupt his sleep? And- and what kind of idiot would come to his house at literally 1 am?
..It can't be him, right? If he was going to come, he'd inform him at least-
Extending his hand to the door knob with pure hope, his hopes immediately fades away at the sight of a package on his door.
..
Wait a minute.
A package? On his door? At 1 am?
"What took you so fucking long."
..huh?
Turning his head to the right, he immediately ignores the cigarette air filling his lungs, wrapping his arms around Gun.
Accepting the hug, Gun flicks his cigarette on the trash bin and pulls Goo into a closer hug by his waist, nibbling on his neck and finally receiving the scent he's been craving for a damn long time. "What about the 30 minutes rule?" He whispers through kisses.
"Screw the 30 minutes rule." He whispers back. "Missed you."
A soft smile spreading on his lips, Goo pulls away from the hug, leaning in closer and accepting the offer when Gun cups his cheeks with both of his hands and pulls his face closer to his, his soft lips silently begging to contact in the slightest.
..A meow stops them on their sight.
Looking down, Gun sees a cat. A black one, with dark eyes, glaring up at him. His hands still being on Goo's cheeks, he shifts his gaze to Goo. "What the hell is that thing?"
Goo grits his teeth, "Ah, shit! Cat, go away! Why'd you ruin our moment?!"
The cat meows. Purrhaps this was her revenge on Goo for having to listen to his ridicilious mumblings about Gun and his relationship with him.
"We had a cat?" Gun asks. His hands resting on Goo's cheeks screams to just kiss him already.
"I took him in after when you le-" His lips contacting with Gun's interrupts his sentence, Gun, trying his best to ignore the cat stratching his legs, smiles between the kiss with the feeling of Goo's arms around his neck, as his hands traveled down from Goo's cheeks to his waist.
Stroking the back of his hair, Goo now realizes how much he missed his kisses, so does Gun.
The need of air forces them to pull away from the kiss, their hands still resting on each other's bodies. "Fuck, you tasted like cigarettes." Goo breathes out.
Gun pulls him to an another kiss.
--------
"So," Gun starts, glancing down at the cat sleeping on his lap. "You got this thing when i was at Japan, because you felt lonely?"
"Yeah- wait where'd you get that idea from?! She just looked cute. Plus, she's not a 'thing', she's our child from now on."
"If you say so." Gun rolls his eyes mockingly, slowly petting the fur under him.
Moving off his gaze back to Goo, he notices something on Goo's finger. "..What's that on your finger?"
"On my finger?" Goo looks down on his finger, and the red tint spreading across his cheeks was utterly noticable. "Hahaha, it's uhhhh.. a uhh.. a ring, as you can see."
"A hello kitty ring?" Gun raises one of his eyebrows.
Scowling, Goo pouts. "If you opened your package, you'd know it."
"What?" Oh right, the package. He wanted to open it together with Goo, so he didn't open it until he'd be in Korea.
Extending his hand to the package next to him, on the table, he hands it over to Gun. Sighing, Gun grunts. "How the hell am I supposed to open it with this thing lying on my lap?"
"It's not a thing," Goo corrects his mistake, slowly picking up the cat and placing it on his tiny bed instead.
"Alright, alright.." A smirk appears on his lips. "Did you get the same ring for me?"
"Who knows? Open it and find it out yourself." Goo chuckles.
Opening the box, there's a smaller box in it. Obviously a ring box. "..I wonder what's in it.." Gun mocks.
A hello kitty ring. Despite Goo's being pink, his ring was black. "Why is mine black?" He asks, putting the ring on his finger, observing how it looked on his finger, it reminded him of those plastic rings, it had shiny white glitter around it and a image of hello kitty's head smiling to him completed it.
"Black suits you. Did you like it?"
"Mhm." He humms, throwing an arm around Goo's waist, pulling him even closer, as Goo's head drops on Gun's shoulder. His hand stroking his waist, Gun stares at both his and Goo's rings. "I thought we were rich."
"We are. Want me to buy you a diamond one the next time?"
Gun chuckles at that, "Only if i don't do it sooner than you."
-----
"You made a Goo one?" Gun utters, staring down at the two plushies of him and Goo on his lap.
The plushie looked so, so fucking adorable. How the hell did Goo even manage to make little glasses for him? The smile on his lips makes it even cuter.
"Mhm!" Giggling, Goo picks up both of the plushies and presses their heads against each other's. "Look, they are kissing."
"We don't need plushies to do that." He reminds.
Not long after, their cat interrupts them, jumping on Gun's lap, frowning when Gun stops him from stratching the plushies.
"Oh, i should make one for her too."
"What's her name anyways?"
"Cat."
He raises one of his eyebrows, " 'Cat'? Seriously?" His hands strokes the cat's fur on their own.
Goo shrugs, eyebrows raised, smile widening.
Maybe the thought of them being like a family wasn't really bad.
